WORK EXPERIENCE

03/2015 to date. Aptuit LLC, Drug Discovery and Development, Project and Process Management Office,

Verona/Oxford, Italy/UK. Project Manager.

Project management of different pharmaceutical research projects, from Drug Discovery to Drug

Development until to human experimentation phases (I, II and III). Management of integrated

projects between CMC (API Development, Analytics, Formulation & Material Sciences, Clinical

Manufacturing and Packaging) and preclinical (Pharmacokinetics, Bioanalytics, Toxicology and

Safety Pharmacology) across multiple sites

Project administration and communication using established Project Management tools to develop,

maintain and update all project docs (plans, agendas, minutes, action/decision log, GANTT, CAPA

plans, Flow Chart, status updates, risk registers etc)

Customer/stakeholder management and support for different marketing strategies (mainly for UK

and Swiss markets)

Resources management on cross functional drug development project teams, between Italy and UK

(management of 5-6 heads of departments for each project; several projects run in parallel for a

portfolio total value around $ 6-7 million per year)

Cost management of different size and complexity projects, varying from 50k to over 1 million of

euro

Time management: monitoring and evaluation of integrated projects compressed in 50/60 weeks,

from API stages to manufacturing stages, across preclinical development

Change management: design and implementation of backup and recovery plans

Working knowledge of industry guidelines (i.e. GMP, GLP, GCP, ICH) and applicability to product

development

Chairing and/or co-chairing the management of requirements for successful registration of

pharmaceutical products for clinical phases (IND, CTA and JIND) and knowledge for commercial

stages (NDA, MAA and JNDA)
