Settembre 1993-Maggio 1994: periodo di studio e ricerca (di nove mesi) al Laboratory for

Information and Decision Systems del Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Boston, USA), presso il Prof. S.K.Mitter, fruendo di una borsa di studio per l'estero offerta dalla Fondazione Ing.A. Gini.

Ottobre 1997: periodo di ricerca (di tre settimane) al “Mathematics Institute” dell'Universita'

di Groningen (NL), presso il Prof. J.C.Willems, usufruendo di una borsa di studio della Comunita' Europea nell'ambito dell' ESF Programme on Control of Complex Systems (COSY).

Attivita’ Didattica Istituzionale In qualita' di ricercatrice negli AA 1994/95, 1995/96, 1996/97 e 1997/98 ha insegnato parte

dei corsi di Sistemi Multivariabili (78 ore) e Teoria dei Sistemi (78 ore) per la Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica (Vecchio Ordinamento), ed e' stata correlatrice di alcune tesi di argomento sistemistico. Assieme al Prof. E.Fornasini, si e' dedicata alla stesura della prima parte di una dispensa per il corso di Sistemi Multivariabili [L2].

switched a tempo continuo, all'interno del Workshop Control Day (and a half) 2012 organizzato da M. Pavon e F. Rampazzo presso il Dipartimento di Matematica dell'Universita' di Padova.

25 Giugno 2012: CSS Distinguished Lecture presso Concordia University a Montreal, dal titolo "On the stabilization of positive switched systems: state of the art and open problems". 29 Settembre 2014: CSS Distinguished Lecture presso la University a Vancouver, dal titolo "Positive switched systems: from motivating examples to theoretical properties investigation". 4 Aprile 2016: un seminario sulla sua ricerca sui sistemi positivi e compartimentali switched e un seminario sulle Donne in Ingegneria presso la United Technologies Research Labs di Cork, Irlanda. 10 Ottobre 2016: un seminario sulla sua ricerca sul problema del consensus tra agenti omogenei descritti da sistemi positivi presso l' ETH di Zurigo, Svizzera. 20 Giugno 2017: un seminario sulla sua ricerca su problematiche di consensus e bipartite consensus con switching topologies presso l'Universita' di Stuttgart, Germania.

Ha tenuto delle lezioni per la Scuola Estiva di Bertinoro: nel luglio 2002, su Stabilizzazione

forte e Controllo H-infinito, nel luglio 2006, su Raggiungibilita’ e controllabilita’ a zero dei sistemi positivi (standard e a commutazione).

Dal gennaio 2012 e' Coordinatore (assieme al collega C. Melchiorri dell'Universita' di

Bologna) della Scuola Estiva di Dottorato in Automatica di Bertinoro. Ha tenuto due corsi di dottorato per la Scuola di Dottorato in Ingegneria Industriale

dell’Universita’ di Padova, Indirizzo Meccatronica e Sistemi Industriali: un corso da 20 ore (assieme al Prof. D. Ciscato) di “Controllo Digitale” nel 2005? e un corso da 12 ore (con l'Ing. S.Vitturi) di “Applicazioni delle reti di Petri alla modellizzazione ed alla gestione di sistemi manifatturieri” nel 2008.

Nel 2006 e’ stata docente (in collaborazione con il Prof. P. Mattavelli) del corso di Fond. Di

Ingegneria dell’Informazione (30 ore) per il corso di Master di Alto Apprendistato “Esperto di ricerca e sviluppo del prodotto”, finanziato dalla regione Veneto su fondi del Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali, in collaborazione con le Universita’ del Veneto e con le associazioni imprenditoriali.

Il CIRP e’ un consorzio che si occupa sia di fornire consulenze e supporto scientifico alle aziende pugliesi sia di valutarne e finanziarne progetti di innovazione tecnologica. Specificatamente, si e` occupata della valutazione e monitoraggio (in loco) di un progetto di introduzione di una sensoristica avanzata per la rilevazione di guasti ed imperfezioni nella produzione di vetri per impiego automobilistico.
