Appuntamento il 17-18-19 dicembre sulle nevi del Monte Faloria. Per la terza volta Cortina d’Ampezzo ospiterà due gare di Coppa Europa di Snowboardcross. Atleti ad altissimi livelli si sfideranno in batterie da quattro, lungo curve paraboliche, gobbe e salti.Il 16-17 e 18 dicembre dalle 17 alle 20, il centro di Cortina d’Ampezzo diventerà un campo scuola per chiunque volesse cimentarsi con lo snowboard.

On 16th, 17th and 18th December on the snows of Monte Faloria, for the third time Cortina d’Ampezzo will host two Snowboardcross European Cup races. Top level athletes will challenge each other four at a time along parabolic curves, humps and jumps. On 16th, 17th and 18th December, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the centre of Cortina d’Ampezzo will become a skiing school for all those wishing to try out snowboarding.

Nel corso della stagione invernale è possibile visitare il museo del Forte Tre Sassi, una delle più interessanti testimonianze della Grande Guerra sul fronte dolomitico. Fu costruito nel 1897 a difesa dei confini meridionali dell’Impero austro-ungarico, e fu poi ammodernato nel 1910.Oggi il Forte Tre Sassi è stato ristrutturato ed espone equipaggiamenti e oggetti di uso quotidiano dei soldati.

Built in 1897 in defence of the southern borders of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, it was subsequently modernised in 1910.Today the Tre Sassi Fort has been restructured, and displays equipment and objects of daily use belonging to the soldiers.
