La Storia

Sono nato a Patti nel 1949 e nel 1970, a soli 21 anni, mi sono

trasferito a Milano. Qui al Nord da semplice impiegato, con

tanto impegno, sono diventato imprenditore ed ho fondato

un’azienda metalmeccanica, la Valvitalia.

Non vi nascondo che il mio cuore è sempre rimasto in Sicilia,

terra meravigliosa e unica, che non a caso molti popoli stranieri

hanno invaso e dominato per secoli.

Ho creato le Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri proprio per mantenere

a Patti un’ antica tradizione, fatta di persone esperte, capaci di

fare decori bellissimi, che fanno ricordare la mia terra: pistacchi,

olive, arance, limoni e fichi d’ india dai colori più inaspettati.

Per coinvolgere i giovani di Patti ho voluto creare un laboratorio,

all’ interno della CSR, dove potranno apprendere l’arte della

ceramica e dei decori fatti a mano e prepararsi per creare

imprese proprie, un po’ come ho fatto io.

Le Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri regalano a tutti voi piccole

opere d’arte, tutte fatte e dipinte a mano, frutto di creatività

e buongusto per abbellire le vostre case ovunque voi siate.

History

I was born in Patti in 1949 and moved to Milan,aged only 21, in 1970. Here in the North, after much

hard work, I became an entrepreneur and set up an engineering company, Valvitalia. I cannot

deny that my heart remained in Sicily, that wonderful, unique island which for centuries was, not

by chance, dominated by foreign invaders.

I created “Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri” just to maintain in Patti an ancient tradition which belongs

to talented people , experts who are capable of creating beautiful patterns which recall my

land - pistachios, olives, oranges, lemons and prickly pears of unexpected colours.

To involve the young people of Patti, I wished to create a workshop in the CSR where they can

learn the art of ceramics and decoration by hand and prepare themselves to start up their own

businesses, a little as I have done.

Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri offers you all small works of art, hand-made and hand - painted, the

fruit of creativity and good taste, to decorate your tables wherever you are.

L’Histoire

Je suis né à Patti (Messine – Italie) en 1949 et à l'âge de 21 ans, dans les années 1970, je suis

allé vivre à Milan. Dans le Nord de l’Italie, de simple salarié je suis devenu entrepreneur et j’ai

fondé, grâce à mon grand engagement, une entreprise de métallurgie, la Valvitalia.

Je ne peux pas cacher que mon cœur est resté à toujours en Sicile, terre merveilleuse et unique,

qui, de ce fait, a été dominée pendant des siècles par des nombreux peuples étrangers.

J’ai créé les “Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri” à Patti, pour sauvegarder une tradition ancienne.

Cette tradition perdure grâce à l'expertise de nos artisans, capables de dessiner des magnifiques

décors qui rappellent ma terre : pistaches, olives, oranges, citrons, figues de barbarie, colorés

avec les couleurs les plus originales.Pour impliquer les jeunes de Patti, j’ai voulu créer un laboratoire,

au sein de la CSR, dans lequel ils pourront apprendre l’art de la faïence et des décors faits

main, pour apprendre et pouvoir eux - mêmes créer leurs propres entreprises, comme jadis je

l’ai fait.

Les Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri vous offrent des petits chefs d’œuvre, peints et faits main, qui

sont le fruit de la créativité et du bon goût de nos artisans, pour décorer vos maisons.

Geschichte

Ich bin im Jahre 1949 in Patti geboren. Mit nur 21 Jahren zog ich 1970 nach Mailand. Im Norden

Italiens habe ich anfänglich als Beamter gearbeitet und bin mit viel Fleiss und Engagement

Unternehmer einer Metall - und Maschinenbaufirma geworden, der Valvitalia. Ich will euch nicht

vorleugnen,dass mein Herz stets Sizilien angehörte, einem wundervollen und einzigartigen Land,

das uber Jahrhunderte von vielen fremden Kulturen und Menschen geprägt worden ist.

Ich habe die “Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri” erschaffen, um in Patti eine antike Tradition zu

bewahren. Dank erfahrenen Menschen entstehen wundervolle Dekorationen, die mich an mein

Heimatland erinnern:Pistazien, Oliven, Orangen, Zitronen und Kaktusfeigen in den unerwartetsten

Farben. Um die jungen Leute von Patti einzubeziehen, habe ich eine Werkstatt erschaffen,

im Inneren der CSR,in welcher sie die Kunst der Keramik und das Herstellen von handgefertigten

Dekorationen erlernen können. Nur auf diese Weise können sie sich vorbereiten, um in Zukunft

eigene Betriebe zu grunden und den selben Weg gehen wie ich damals.

Die “Ceramiche Siciliane Ruggeri” schenken Ihnen kleine Kunstwerke, alles selbstverständlich

handgemacht und handgemalt. Das Ergebnis ist Kreativität und guter Geschmack, um Ihr Haus

kunstvoll auszuschmucken.
