Le esperienze di leader di un gruppo di ricerca (ventennale), Vice-Direttore, Coordinatore di Dottorato e di Presidente di una Divisione della Società Chimica Italiana, componente di diverse azioni COST e organizzatore di numerosi Simposi e Congressi, responsabile locale e nazionale di vari progetti hanno comportato l'affinamento delle capacità relazionali (e organizzative) necessarie a coordinare le azioni richieste nelle varie e diverse attività.

Le competenze organizzative acquisite coincidono con le competenze relazionali.

Utente dei principali programmi in ambiente Office, di alcuni programmi per calcolo per l'interpretazione, anali tica e grafica, dei dati sperimentali.

Nessuna capacità ma una passione per la musica, la pittura, la scultura e la lettura.

Le esperienze di componente dei Gruppi di Esperti Valutatori per l'ANVUR (per l'ultima VQR) e la partecipazione alla commissione per il SSD 03/B 1 delle recenti Abili tazioni Scientifiche Nazionali sono state determinanti per acquisire competenze nelle valutazioni e nell'analisi dei parametri bibliometrici.

MAJOR RECENT COLLABORATIONS - Prof. Nina Berova; started in 2004 when Nina visited the Departmet of Chemistry in Catania. Then, she invited me to visit the Department of Chemistry at the Columbia University (NY, USA). We have been exchanging visits many other times and published tour papers in collaboration. In addition, we have been co-organizing various symposia at ICPP. - Prof. J. M. Ribo' (University of Barcelona, Spain); on the chirality of J-aggregates of anionic porphyrins (Three papers in Collaboration). - Prof. M. Parisi (University of Messina, ltaly) and Prof. S. Geremia (University of Trieste, ltaly) on calixarenes-porphyrin interaction. - Prof. L. Monsù Scolaro (University of Messina, ltaly)
