Si tratta di un sistema di drenaggio lineare per la raccolta e lo smaltimento di acque meteoriche, con marcatura CE secondo la Norma di riferimento armonizzata UNI EN 1433 – 2008. Realizzate in polimero termoplastico ABS, non in polipropilene ad alta densità come per le canalette COMPACT e NOR, presentano bordi di rinforzo in acciaio piegato e tranciato a misura, con trattamento di zincatura galvanica o in ghisa, griglie in ghisa sferoidale fi nita con vernice bituminosa, fi ssate con n°8 bulloni e dadi in acciaio inox, fi ssaggio alla fondazione in calcestruzzo mediante zanche sempre in ghisa sferoidale.Il sistema è composto da 3 tipologie di canalette di lunghezza pari a 100 cm, disponibili n°6 diverse sezioni:

It is a linear drainage system for the root canal treatment and the discharge of the rainwater, with CE labelling, according to the reference harmonized technical regulation UNI EN 1433 – 2008. Made of thermoplastic polymer ABS instead of high density polypropylene as for the single conduits COMPACT and NOR, they have bent steel support edges with galvanic zinc or cast iron treatment, spheroidal cast iron gratings fi nished up with bituminous paint, fi xed with 8 bolts and inox steel dices, fi xing at the piling thanks to rag bolts in spheroidal cast iron too.The system is made of 3 types of 100 cm long single conduits, available in 6 different sections:

• 13x7,5cm e 13x15cm; load class D400• 20x7,5cm e 20x15cm; load class D400, E600 and F900• 25x15cm e 25x20cm; load class D400, E600 and F900

Cast iron gratings are available in different load classes:

• For the 13x7,5cm and 13x15cm single conduits, load class of the gratings: D400

Per la canaletta: polimero termoplastico ABSL’ABS è un polimero termoplastico che ha queste caratteristiche fi sico chimiche:• Resistenza agli UVA • Impermeabilità e rugosità della superfi cie: la superfi cie perfettamente liscia ed impermeabile permette un rapido defl usso delle acque meteoriche e facilita l’azione autopulente della canaletta, prevenendo la sedimentazione dello sporco e la crescita di organismi vegetali. In questo modo si evitano eventuali problemi di intasamento.• Resistenza ad agenti atmosferici:La superfi cie perfettamente liscia, l’impermeabilità ed il materiale costituente garantiscono la resistenza a cicli di gelo e disgelo.• Resistenza al fuoco: a richiesta è disponibile la versione ignifuga• Buona stabilità dimensionale• Buona resistenza all’invecchiamento

Per i profi li di rinforzo: Per il rinforzo dei bordi della canaletta, laddove vengono poi collocate le griglie in ghisa, vengono utilizzati dei profi li in acciaio, lavorati per deformazione plastica a freddo, con trattamento protettivo di zincatura galvanica o in ghisa.

Per i fi ssaggi imbullonati:I bulloni sono con testa cilindrica con esagono incassato, trattamento protettivo con zincatura galvanica molto resistente e con dadi rettangolari in acciaio inox per prevenire l’usura determinata dal traffi co veicolare. Non ci sono sostanziali problemi dal punto di vista dell’effetto Volta causato della “differenza di potenziale” tra i due metalli.

Per le griglie e le zanche di ancoraggio: Entrambi questi componenti sono realizzati con ghisa sferoidale prodotta in stabilimento con trattamento protettivo mediante verniciatura bituminosa. Le griglie hanno la certifi cazione per le classi di carico D400, E600 ed F900 secondo la UNI EN 1433 – 2008.

For the single conduit: polymer thermoplastic ABSABS is a thermoplastic polymer with these physical and chemical characteristics:• UVA resistance• Impermeability and roughness of the surface:the perfectly smooth and impermeable surface allows a fast fl ow of the rainwater and simplifi es the self-cleaning of the single conduit, warding off the sedimentation of the sleaze and the growth of vegetable organisms. In this way it is possible to avoid obstruction.• Resistance to atmospheric agents:the perfectly smooth surface, the impermeability and the material used guarantees the resistance to the freezing-thawing cycle.• Fire-resistant: on request it is possible to ask for the fi reproof

version too• Good dimensional stability• Good resistance to the action of the time

For the reinforcement profi les: For the reinforcement of the edges of the single conduit, steel profi les are used where cast iron gratings have to be collocated, with cold-working for the plastic deformation and protective galvanic zinc or cast iron treatment.

For the bolted fi xings:The bolts have a panhead with hexagon socket head screw; protective treatment with resistant galvanic and inox steel rectangular dices to ward off the usury of the vehicular traffi c. There are not problems for the Volta effect due to “difference of potential” between the two metals.

For the gratings and the anchoring rag bolts: Both the products are produced with spheroidal cast iron thanks to a protective bituminous paint treatment. The gratings have the certifi cations for load classes: D400, E600 and F900 according to the reference harmonized technical regulation UNI EN 1433 – 2008.

Le “Istruzioni di posa in opera generale” contenute nelle seguenti pagine sono date a titolo esemplifi cativo per consentire all’installatore fi nale di operare agevolmente e correttamente nella posa in opera delle canalette. I casi particolari o le specifi che esigenze di cantiere dovranno essere valutate singolarmente in accordo con i progettisti. Una corretta posa in opera è alla base della stabilità tecnica del prodotto e gli permette di poter adempiere al proprio ruolo drenante e statico. Allo stesso tempo garantisce una più lunga durata di esercizio del sistema di drenaggio ed un migliore funzionamento idraulico e strutturale.

The “General assembly instructions” indicated in the following pages are an example to allow the installer to operate in the laying of the conduits in a correct and easy way. The particular cases or the specifi c needs of the building site must be assessed individually in accordance with the designers. A correct installation is the basis of technical stability of the product and this allows to be able to fulfi ll its draining and static role. At the same time it ensures a longer service life of the drainage system and a better hydraulic and structural functioning.

REALIZZAZIONE DELLO SCAVOPrima della realizzazione dello scavo, vanno eseguiti opportuni rilievi per defi nirne le dimensioni. Oltre alla dimensione della canaletta, vanno considerate le tubazioni per gli scarichi e un spazio adeguato per il basamento H e per i rinfi anchi in calcestruzzo S. Le dimensioni da adottare sono riportate nella tabella alla pagina successiva, con la preventiva verifi ca che il fondo abbia l’adeguata consistenza per garantire il sostegno al carico che dovrà sopportare.

CREATION OF THE EXCAVATIONBefore of the creation of the excavation, the appropriate surveys must be carried out in order to defi ne the size. Besides the size of the conduit, it is necessary to consider the pipes for the drainages and an adequate space for the base H and for the concrete buttresses S. The dimensions are shown in the table on next page, with the precautionary ascertainment that the base has an adequate compactness to ensure the support to the load that it will have to bear.

REALIZZAZIONE DEL BASAMENTO IN CALCESTRUZZOPredisporre un letto in calcestruzzo sino all’altezza H indicata. Nel caso in cui si prevede il passaggio frequente di mezzi pesanti si consiglia di armare il basamento con una rete elettrosaldata o con tondini. Il letto di calcestruzzo deve avere una adeguata pendenza per permettere un corretto drenaggio.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE CONCRETE BASEPrepare a bed of concrete up to the indicated height H. In the event that it is expected a frequent passage of heavy vehicles it is recommended to strengthen the base with a welded wire mesh galvanized or with the iron rods. The bed of concrete must have a suitable slope to allow a correct drainage.

POSIZIONAMENTO DELLE CANALETTEPosare le canalette partendo dal punto di uscita del fl usso e bloccarle alla base per impedirne lo spostamento o il disallineamento durante la successiva gettata del calcestruzzo di rinfi anco. Completare la posa degli scarichi richiesti ed effettuare la gettata in calcestruzzo per lo spessore S sino all’altezza massima consentita, tenendo conto del rivestimento fi nale e dei disegni progettuali. Durante la fase di getto, le griglie dovranno essere montate e fi ssate per evitare una eventuale deformazione delle canalette dovuta alla spinte laterali del calcestruzzo. Provvedere all’installazione dei longheroni, ove previsti, e al serraggio dei bulloni di sostegno. Il montaggio delle griglie in questa fase renderà più agevole la posa in opera.Nei casi in cui si prevede un passaggio frequente di mezzi pesanti, si consiglia di predisporre una armatura per migliorare la resa strutturale.

POSITIONING OF THE CONDUITSLay the conduits starting from the exit point of the fl ow and stop the base to prevent the displacement or misalignment during the subsequent casting of the concrete buttress. Complete the installation of the required drains and make the concrete casting for the thickness S up to the maximum height, taking into consideration the lining and the planning drawings. During the casting phase, the gratings must be assembled and fi xed to avoid any deformation of the conduits due to the lateral thrust of the concrete. Install the profi les, where provided, and shut tightly the supporting bolts. The assembly of the gratings in this phase will make the installation easier. In those cases where frequent passage of heavy vehicles is expected, it is recommended to place a reinforcement to improve the structural effi ciency.

COMPLETAMENTO DELLA POSA IN OPERAControllare il serraggio dei bulloni di sostegno e completare con il rivestimento fi nale ad almeno 3-5mm sopra il piano della griglia.

Il corpo canaletta e la spalletta in calcestruzzo devono formare un’unica struttura in grado di resistere alle sollecitazioni esterne. Così come di seguito riportato, per un’ottimale posa in opera delle canalette, il fossato in cui si poseranno le canalette dovrà essere delle dimensioni adeguate affi nché si rispettino le misure del getto riportate in tabella. La tabella e lo schema che segue riporta con esattezza le dimensioni minime previste per le spallette e per il fondo in calcestruzzo affi nché il corpo unico di spalletta e canaletta resista al carico previsto in funzione della classe di carrabilità appartenente, il tutto considerando l’utilizzo di calcestruzzo con caratteristiche meccaniche maggiori di RCK 300. Durante la posa in opera si consiglia di unire tutti i corpi canaletta con sigillante al silicone acetico fatta eccezione per le canalette in ABS che devono necessariamente essere unite con sigillante bi componente che garantisce la perfetta tenuta ai liquidi.

The body of the conduit and the buttress concrete should form a single structure able to withstand external stresses. As shown below, for an optimal installation of the conduits, the moat where conduits will be laid must be of an adequate size in order to comply with the measures of the casting indicated in the table. The table and schema below shows exactly the minimum size required for the jambs and for the bottom concrete, so that the jambs and the conduits can withstand the estimated weight depending on the load class, considering the use of concrete with mechanical characteristics greater than RCK 300. During the installation it is recommended to combine the conduits body with the acetic silicone sealant, except for the conduits in ABS which must necessarily be combined with two-component sealant that ensures a perfect tightness to liquids.

Classe C 250 (Carico di rottura > kN 250). Cunette ai bordi delle strade che si estendono al massimo fino a 0,5 m sulle corsie di circolazione e fino a 0,2 m sui marciapiedi - banchine stradali e parcheggi per autoveicoli pesanti.

Classe D 400 (Carico di rottura > kN 400). Vie di circolazione (strade provinciali e statali) - aree di parcheggio per tutti i tipi di veicoli.

Classe E 600 (Carico di rottura > kN 600). Aree speciali per carichi perticolarmente elevati quali porti ed aeroporti.

Classe F 900 (Carico di rottura > kN 900). Aree soggette a carichi per asse particolarmente elevati, per esempio pavimentazioni di aeroporti.
