The CLA (Bologna University Language Centre) offers free 50-hour Italian language courses to all exchange and international students. How to enrol on courses for the academic year 2016/ 2017. Online pre-enrolments are accessible from 22/08/2016 to 22/09/2016 at: http://www.cla.unibo.it/italiano .

When do lessons begin? Lessons will start from 03/10/2016 at all the Romagna CLA sites.
Courses are offered at the following levels: • A1– absolute beginners : self-learning course with the
assistance of a tutor + 15 hours in class. • A2- elementary : 40 hours in the classroom + 10 hours of
guided self-Learning. • B1- intermediate : 40 hours of lessons in the classroom + 10
hours of guided self-learning.
Who is eligible to attend these courses? The Italian language courses are available for: • international exchange students at Bologna Universi ty on
programmes such as Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus, Overseas etc.
• international students enrolled at Bologna Universi ty , who attend one of the following courses: a ‘Laurea’ (First cycle degree), a ‘Laurea Magistrale’(Second cycle degree or Single cycle), a PhD, Specialization schools, ‘Master Universitari’ (Vocational programmes), an ‘Alta Formazione’ course or a single course.
• other students admitted on the basis of special agreements.
ECTS credits Students who attend at least 70% of the classroom lessons and pass the final test, are allocated 5 ECTS credits. In order to obtain these credits an exchange student must insert in their study plan the code which corresponds to the course they intend to follow, as indicated in ‘studenti online’: • Italiano A1 – Course code: 38653 • Italiano A2 – Course code: 38655 • Italiano B1 – Course code: 38656
The evaluation of the end-of-course test will be expressed in terms of "idoneo" or "non idoneo" (pass/fail); no specific marks or percentages will be given.
