1. The idea

• E-CAR is a web site that allows: to sell the unused space to carriers, to reduce the shipping charge and to guarantee the delivery time to

their clients

• E-CAR reduces traffic and pollution and develops collaboration between enterprises.

• It will be launched on local scale, starting from Abruzzo, because local economy is based on small and medium-sized enterprises.

2. Needs and services

• People who use courier services need to reduce costs and to be sure that goods will be delivered on time.

• Carriers need to fill their couriers and to avoid unloaded travel.

• E-CAR crosses these two needs, offering the sharing of carriage of compatible goods using appropriate vehicles.

3. Strengths

• The courier is already available for a route.• The duration of the travel is already planned.• The costs are shared.• Carriers can organize the travel and don’t need to

stock goods.• Users can evaluate the service of transport and the

service offered by E-CAR on the web site.• The cost of E-CAR is less than handling fee.

4. Economic objectives

• To launch E-CAR are necessary:» investments per 80.000 €» costs per 231.000 €

• The yearly revenue is about a 300.000 €. The results will be achieved gradually:

» I half year 80.000 €» II half year 120.000 €» III half year 150.000 €

• It is forecast that E-CAR will produce income starting from the first half year.
