John Cabot's English Language for University Studies(ENLUS) Program offers intensive classes in academicEnglish for students whose English level is below the University’s English proficiency admissions requirements.

The 15-week course follows John Cabot’s academic calendar and is divided into two proficiencylevels.

Three sessions per year:• September-December• January-May• Summer

ENLUS I (intermediate, B1) meets 4 hours daily, Mondaythrough Thursday, for a total of208 hours.

Small class sizes allow each student to receive individual attention and theopportunity to participate actively inclass. the level also helps introduceforeign students to American cultureand university life.

ENLUS II (upper-intermediate, B2)meets 4 ½ hours daily, Mondaythrough Thursday, for a total of 252 hours.

In addition to their ENLUS classes,students may enroll in one academic(for credit) course in the areas of mathematics, computer science, fine arts, or Italian if they satisfy the University’s minimum admissions requirements.
