The 2017 Vernaccia di San Gimignano is a wonderful and bright expression of

the Tuscan white grape. You pick up grassy notes, with delicate touches of

saffron and crushed pine nut. The wine offers great intensity and brightness,

although it is a tad thin in the mouth. Overall, it's refreshing and expressive.

Vernaccia di San Gimignano is a snappy and clean expression with crisp tones

of citrus and white peach. The wine sails smoothly over the palate imparting

Simone Santini's 2013 Vernaccia di San Gimignano is a sophisticated and

standout white wine from Tuscany. The mouthfeel is easy and fresh at first,

but the wine quickly reveals inner complexity and added layers of dimension.

The bouquet shows stone fruit, vanilla, honey, crushed mineral, natural rubber

and toasted almond. I loved the intensity and the purity presented here.
