In recent years Nuova General Instruments has worked hard to satisfy a varied market demand, and is now able to offer a complete range of safety valves for use with steam and/or hot water. Thanks to the use of innovative seals and advanced designs, all our valves are superbly efficient and reliable. The continuous research undertaken by our design department has allowed us to offer three different safety valve solutions (brass, mixed, and stainless steel), as well customisable unions in gas thread, UNI or ANSI flanged versions. Per riprodurre l’esatta situazione di lavoro la Nuova General ha approntato un isola di collaudo a vapore dove le valvole di sicurezza vengono testate direttamente nelle condizioni di lavoro in cui andranno ad operare. Il metodo di collaudo consiste nell’installare la valvola sul generatore di collaudo ed in presenza di un aumento di pressione si testa l’effettivo inizio trafilamento. In tal modo si fornisce al Cliente un prodotto “testato” simulando le reali condizioni di utilizzo.

To be able to reproduce precise operating conditions, NGI has developed a special testing island for steam safety valves, in which the valves are tested using the conditions under which they will actually operate. The valve is installed on the test island’s steam generator and operated at increasing pressures to find its actual leakage point. This means that we can pro-vide customers with products that really have been “tried and tested” under real operating conditions.

IDENTIFICAZIONE CROMATICA / Colour coding

Vi offriamo l’opportunità di differenziare le valvole per il circuito di bassa da quelle per il circuito di alta pressione, va-riando il colore del tappo di protezione dei filetti. Questa nuova procedura è stata inserita per poter distinguere in fase di montaggio del particolare, valvole identiche, ma con valore di taratura diverso, limitando ulteriormente la possibilità di errore sia nella fase di stoccaggio, ma soprattutto in quella di montaggio.
