Technical characteristicsMARMORINO NATURALE by OIKOS is a decorative, vapour permea-ble, coloured lime putty coating for interior and exterior. The product allowsto achieve easily and quickly to beautiful decorative effects known as “mar-morino”. The thickess of MARMORINO NATURALE by OIKOS allow to decora-te and to hide small imperfections of the wall at once, thus saving on expen-sive screedings. The product creates a stable link with the surface, preser-ving the vapour permeability of the whole wall structure. The product alsoimpedes the development of moulds and bacterial colonies. MARMORINO NATURALE can be either matt or gloss, in this second case whencoated and polished with SHINING MARMORINO FINISH by OIKOS. MAR-MORINO NATURALE by OIKOS has a low odour level, is non inflammable andis friendly to both humans and the environment.

Surface preparationThe surface must be dry and mature, new plasters should have been leftmaturing at least 30 days to allow a complete carbonation. Clean the sur-faces and remove detaching and flaking parts. In case of refurbishment,all water leaks and humid areas must be repaired and eliminated. Onflaking surfaces it is advisable to apply first SEALER FOR LIME CYCLES byOIKOS. On new walls or on well-painted walls it is advisable to apply firstPRIMER FOR LIME CYCLES by OIKOS.

Application methodApply two coats of the product by stainless steel trowel by Oikos, waiting7-8 hours between coats. Screed evenly the whole surface. The gloss “marmorino” effect is obtained by applying SHINING MARMO-RINO FINISH for MARMORINO by OIKOS.

FinishThe product is applied in a thin layer immediately polished by stainlesssteel trowel. When applied in exterior, over SHINING MARMORINO FINI-SH for MARMORINO by OIKOS it is advisable to apply PROTECTIVE WAXby OIKOS. The wax will make the surface water repellent and more resi-

stant to exterior conditions. The application shall be conducted 7 daysafter application of the finish.

Il prodotto a base digrassello di calce stagionato, è di facile applicazione e permette unarapida lucidatura delle superfici lasciandone invariata la traspirazione.Una delle principali caratteristiche del prodotto è quella di legarsi per-fettamente con MARMORINO NATURALE, dando luogo ad un unicocorpo di elevata permeabilità al vapor d’acqua.L’elevata alcalinità impedisce lo sviluppo di muffe e colonie batteriche.FINITURA AUTOLUCIDANTE è un prodotto con basso odore, non infiam-mabile, amico dell’uomo e dell’ambiente.

Technical CharacteristicsSHINING MARMORINO FINISH by OIKOS is the finishing product forinterior and exterior to be applied on MARMORINO NATURALE by OIKOS,so to obtain a gloss marble-like effect. The product is based on mature lime putty, it is easy to apply and allowsa fast and easy polishing of the surface. The vapour permeability of thewall remains unaltered. One of the main characteristics of the product is that it bonds perfectlywith MARMORINO NATURALE by OIKOS creating a compact layer on thesurface that maintains a high permeability to water vapour. Its high alkalinity avoids the development of moulds and bacterial colo-nies. SHINING MARMORINO FINISH by OIKOS has a low odour level, isnon inflammable, and friendly to both humans and the environment.

Field of useGloss finish for MARMORINO NATURALE by OIKOS on interior or exteriorwalls of prestigious / historically important buildings

Surface preparationApply two coats of MARMORINO NATURALE by OIKOS and wait at least7-8 hours for drying. Application methodSpread a thin layer of SHINING MARMORINO FINISH with a stainless steeltrowel and immediately polish the surface with it to obtain the gloss mar-ble-like finish.Protect the surface from rain during the first 24 ÷ 48 hoursfrom the application.

FinishWhen applied in exterior it is advisable to secure a higher level of water-repellence and resistance to exterior conditions by applying PROTECTIVEWAX by OIKOS. The protection with the wax should be conducted approx.7 days after application.
