Results1. Do social media have effects on working performance and productivity?

✤ networking and new contacts (Archambault et al, 2012; Zhao et al, 2009; Annabi et al, 2013)!

✤ knowledge sharing within the organization and between colleagues (Lehner et al, 2013; Thomas et al, 2013; Jarrahi et al, 2013; Grudin et al, 2010; Mansour, 2012)!

✤ decision making and problem solving (Antes et al, 20111; Karl et al, 2013; Turban et al, 2010; Dong et al, 2012; Holtzblatt et al, 2012)

2. Can social media help organizational wellness?

✤ decreasing stress levels (Ford et al, 2013; Richard, 2012)!

✤ more awareness about organizational environment and workers emotions (Shami et al, 2014; Brzozowski, 2009)!

✤ social media usage can increase work satisfaction (Blackwell et al, 2009; Moqbel et al, 2013)

✤ cyberdeviancy, harassment and stress (Weatherbee, 2010; Mainiero et al, 2013; Bucher et al, 2013; Mainiero et al, 20131)!

✤ need to create policy of behavior on social media (Piotrowski, 2012; Martin et al, 2009)

3. Does social media usage in an organization have consequences for relationships between coworkers?

Social media improve workers relationships between each other thanks to the informal atmosphere which is created by social media. Relationships increase. (Zhang et al, 2010; Archambault et al, 2012; Blackwell et al, 2009; Holtzblatt et al, 2012; DiMicco et al, 2008; Jarrahi et al, 2012; Bougie et al, 2011; Brzozowski, 2009)

Increase of discrimination, stereotypes, bias and psychological distance phenomenon (Ruggs et al, 2013; Marlow et al, 2012)

4.! What are the motivations for using social media?!!

✤networking (Archambault et al, 2012; Bozzon et al, 2014; Ferro et al, 2012; Stopfer et al, 2013; Nylander et al, 2011; Mansour et al, 2011)!

✤ socialization with friends and family and maintaining these relationships. (Steinfield et al, 2009; Turner et al, 2010; Zhao et al, 2012; DiMicco et al, 2008; Jarrahi et al, 2013; Skeels et al, 2009)

limits of social media usage: lack of time and the fact that everyone can edit contents in wikis (Holtzblatt et al, 2010; Hanrahan et al, 2011; White et al, 2009; Mansour et al, 2011)

5. Does social media usage on work have impacts on emotions?!

✤ workers emotions seem more positive at the end of the day then the beginning of the day.

✤ sharing of feelings can allow workers to feel more connected and closer to their coworkers which operate far from them.

✤ positive emotions decrease at evenings but this drop is

due to other factors than social media usage (De

6. Professional life and private life. What is the role of social media?

✤ knowing coworkers more personally (Steinfield et al, 2009)!

✤ keeping in contacts with friends and family while at work balancing professional and private life (Moqbel et al, 2013; Bougie et al, 2011)!

✤ strategies to face different types of audience on social media (Steinfield et al, 2009; DiMicco et al, 2007; Stopfer et al, 2007; Vitak et al, 2012)

it is possible to obtain information about the organization and the worker (Clark et al, 2010; Elyashar et al, 2013; Stopfer et al, 2013, Karl et al, 2013; Skeels et al, 2009)
