Più unico che raro è il Giardino all’Italiana. Protetto da vincolo monumentale per la sua originalità e valenza, questo mozzafiato angolo di paradiso rispecchia i canoni tradizionali di un giardi-no rinascimentale italiano con influenze francesi. Un enorme magnolia centenaria, unica in Italia, domina sul verde del giar-dino, mentre secolari piante di rampicanti in fiore abbracciano armoniosamente la balconata della Villa. Le tradizionali aiuole di bosso ospitano fiori di stagione ricchi di colore ed odori, circondando la fontana cinquecentesca in marmo e pietra.In un angolo la Limonaia, luogo magico adorno di piante aro-matiche che in inverno protegge quasi cento piante anziane di limone. Protected by a monumental legislative constraint for its originality and value, this stunning piece of paradise reflects the traditional canons of an Italian renaissance garden with French influences. A huge old magnolia tree, nonpareil in Italy, oversees the green garden, whilst blooming centennial vines embrace harmoniously the balcony of the Villa. The traditional flower beds are home for seasonal flowers rich in color and odor and surround the sixteenth-century fountain in marble and stone. In a corner stands the Limonaia, a magical place adorned with herbs that in winter protects nearly one hundred elderly plants of lemon. To complete the garden the is the terrace, an isolated space where for relax or immersed in nature lunches, and the precious botanical garden. In this space typical plants of Siena, fruit trees and herbs are arranged in a precise order, a sequence that invites to submerge yourself in the tranquility of the place. The covered balcony of the Italian Garden is ideal for events since it holds up to 100 seats in gala tables; a picturesque setting at sunset often chosen as the backdrop for unforgettable dinners and aperitifs. I Chiostri


Vanto e meraviglia della Certosa sono i tre magnifici chiostri; due dei quali, il Chiostro Grande ed il Chiostri Principale adat-ti ad eventi di ogni tipo.Il Chiostro Grande dispone di un enorme giardino all’inglese, con antico pozzo in pietra, perfetto per grandi eventi. I suoi portici, inoltre, sono adatti a cene per oltre 450 invitati a sedere al coperto. Dallo stesso si accede alle celle, 10 meravigliosi ap-partamenti distribuiti su due livelli ciascuno con vista su Siena e giardino privato. Altra particolarità del Chiostro è l’antica fornace a legna che collegata su una piazza esterna è l’ideale per cucine mobili e spazi di servizio dei catering. Inoltre Grazie ai due ingressi indipendenti, il Chiostro Grande è completamente isolabile dal resto della Certosa.Il Chiostro Principale è immediatamente riconoscibile per il pozzo in pietra del ‘300 e dai maestosi alberi sagomati alla fran-cese. Qui si affaccia l’area esterna del ristorante, il quale arriva a poter accomodare nei chiostri coperti fino a 400 persone sedu-te. Dotato di una suggestiva illuminazione studiata per esaltare il fascino della Certosa, il Chiostro si presta egregiamente per matrimoni ed eventi di gala. Sul lato ovest, a fianco della scul-tura “Portale della Vita” dell’artista senese massimo Lippi, si accede infatti all’antica chiesa affrescata nel ‘500 dal Poccetti, una piccola Sistina in terra senese. Inoltre da questo chiostro si accede anche alla Villa e al balcone sul meraviglioso giardino all’italiana.

The arcades are also suitable for dinners for over 450 guests. This cloister leads to the cells, 10 beautiful apartments on two levels, each with a view of Siena and private garden. Another peculiarity of the Cloister is the old wood-burning furnace, connected to a outer square ideal for mobile kitchens for catering services. With its two independent entrances, the Great Cloister can be completely isolated from the rest of the Certosa.The main Cloister is immediately recognizable by the 13th century stone well and the majestic trees cut in French-style. Here, the restaurant overlooks the outdoor area, getting able to sit beneath the cloister up to 400 people. Featuring a charming lighting system designed to enhance the charm of the Certosa, the main Cloister is excellent for weddings and gala events. The west side, next to the sculpture “Portal of Life” by the Sienese artist massimo Lippi, leads to the ancient church frescoed in the ‘500 by Poccetti, a small Sistine Chapel in the land of Siena. In addition, the cloister accesses to the Villa and the beautiful Italian-Style Garden.


Le Sale Congressuali o Sale maggioriLe Sale maggiori sono il cuore pulsante delle attività congressua-li. Situate nella centrale cornice del Chiostro dei Conversi, le tre sale possono ospitare sino a tre eventi indipendenti o essere collegate in videoconferenza per un unico grande evento.SALA BrACCI - È la sala più importante della Certosa, intera-mente affrescata con opere del pittore cinquecentesco Bernar-dino Poccetti, ospitando anche la prestigiosa “Ultima Cena” datata 1596. Per godere delle meraviglie pittoriche della sala e renderla al contempo comoda e funzionale, le luci sono state specificatamente studiate per esaltare le opere dell’artista fioren-tino senza disturbare l’attività lavorativa.La Sala Bracci può ospitare comodamente circa 100 persone nel-la sua disposizione a platea con sedili imbottiti.SALA VErANDA - ricavata nella vecchia veranda della Cer-tosa, questa sala di ampio volume ospita fino a 90 persone a sedere. Il pavimento in legno massello, il caminetto e le ampie vetrate con vista su siena rendono la Sala Veranda luminosa e confortevole.SALA PALIO - Posta nell’area più tranquilla della Certosa, la Sala Palio offre uno scorcio unico sul chiostro interno della chie-sa. Apprezzata soprattutto dagli ospiti stranieri per la sua rustica tipicità, si distingue per l’antico pavimento in cotto senese ed il caratteristico tetto a capriate in legno. Capace di ospitare fino a 90 persone nella versione a platea, viene molto sfruttata anche a ferro di cavallo per eventi che richiedono maggior collaborazione.

Locat-ed in the central frame of the Chiostro dei Conversi, these three rooms can accommodate up to three independent events or be linked by videoconference one to the other for one big event.SALA BrACCI It is the most important room of the Certosa, entirely decorated with frescoes of the sixteenth-century painter Bernardino Poccetti and it also hosts the prestigious “Last Sup-per” dated 1596. In order to enjoy the wonders of the paintings and make it both comfortable and functional, the lightning sys-tem has been specifically designed to highlight the masterpieces of the Florentine painter without disturbing the working area. The Sala Bracci can comfortably accommodate 100 people in theater style in its padded seats. SALA VErANDA Converted from the old porch of the Cer-tosa, this large volume room accommodates up to 90 people seated. Solid wood pavement, a fireplace and large windows facing on Siena’s landscape make the Sala Veranda bright and comfortable. SALA PALIO Post in the quieter end of the Certosa, the Sala Palio offers a unique glimpse into the inner part of the church. It is highly appreciated by foreign visitors for its rustic authen-ticity and is renowned for its antique Siena-style terracotta floor and the characteristic roof trusses. Able to accommodate up to 90 people in theater style version, it is also appreciated in horseshoe sitting for events that require greater collaboration.

SALA DEL FOCOLArE - Una delle più antiche sale della Certosa, accoglie gli ospiti con un antico, maestoso focolare in pietra e comodi divani. A portion of private balcony outlines an suggestive and intimate environment. SALA CErTOSA - A simple and functional room with a pool table con-vertible for small meetings. SALETTA DELLA LOGGIA - A fine place to work in, fitted for secre-tariat or prestige office. SALA DELL’AFFrESCO - Equipped with a large conference table and an old fireplace, it is ideal for small meetings and dinners.SALA CAmINETTO - Because of its stuccos and wall decorations, it is one of the most popular of the Villa.
