Our Company -WHO WE ARE-
Agrioil is a joint-stock company founded in
1989, composed by 81 members, included
important growers and oil millers.
We are specialized in growing and processing
extra virgin olive oil, under our own brand and
for private label too.

Our Company -TERRITORY-
Agrioil is located in the uncontaminated area of
National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano, also
UNESCO World Heritage and Presidia Slow Food
Foundation.
Our territory is the birthplace of the
Mediterranean Diet, discovered by the American
scientist Ancel Keys in the 50’s.

Stilla extra virgin olive oil D.O.P.
“Salernitane Hills” is produced by
pressing only olives coming from the
hilly area of 87 communes in the
province of Salerno, which stretches
from Positano to Paestum.
All production steps (from plant to
bottle) strictly complies with the
D.O.P. guideline requirements.
It comes from autochthonous varieties
of olives such as Rotondella, Frantoio,
Carpellese and Nostrale (65% at
least), Ogliarola and Leccino (35% at
most), and/or other local varieties
(20% at most).
With its fruity and balanced taste,
Stilla D.O.P. is indicated for all uses in
kitchen, especially to dress raw
dishes.

by hand and milled in the same
day.
The ORGANIC Certification
complies with EU Regulation
834/2007, which settles the
production, processing, labeling,
control and certification system in
the European Union. It is
recognized by CCPB, an Inspection
and Certification Body, also
partner of IFOAM "International
Federation of Organic Farming".
Thanks to its delicate taste, this
oil is particularly good when used
with fish, meat and vegetables.

Italian olives, picked by hands on
a premature stage of maturation
and milled in the same day.
All steps of the production chain

Olives are
stripped of
branches and
leaves. Then,
they are carefully
washed in order
to remove dirt,
crusched stones
and impurities.
Both the pulp and
the pits of the
olives are
crushed and
processed into a
homogeneous
mixture, remixd
for a long time in
order to facilitate
the oil extraction.
A first centrifuge
(decanter)
separates the olive
paste into its three
components: oil,
pomace and
vegetation water.
A second
centrifuge
separates oil from
water.

• EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL: obtained from olive processing, solely by
mechanical and physical means, under conditions that do not lead to
alterations. Its free acidity, expressed as oleic acid, is not more than 0.8 grams
per 100 grams.
• OLIVE OIL: it is a blend of refined olive oil* and extra virgin olive oils. Its free
acidity, expressed as oleic acid, is not more than 1 gram per 100 grams.
• OLIVE POMACE OIL: obtained from a blend of refined olive pomace oil and
extra virgin olive oils. Its free acidity is not more than 1 gram per 100 grams.
*Refined oils are olive oils that, in origin, had an high acidity (named “lampante oils”). After
a refining process they become refined oils.

MACHINERY DETAILS
o HEAT EXCHANGER THERMOSPEED: this device has the ability to speed up olive oil
extraction process by up to 50%. Innovative system for extra virgin olive oil
production with high-nutritional value and low environmental impact.
o DYNAMO GRAMOLA MALAXING SYSTEM : four tanks automatic bench system with
load and drain pumps.
Horizontal mixer with spiral blades that allows
small oil droplets to combine into bigger ones.

o ALFA LAVAL DECANTER X: ensures separation of the incoming olive paste
into three phases: oil, solids and water.
Designed to provide cost-effective operation in the olive oil production chain:
clarification, extraction, dewatering and classification on first and second
extraction.
Separation takes place in a horizontal cylindrical bowl equipped with a
screw conveyor.
Centrifugal force causes instant sedimentation of the solids on the wall
Of the bowl.
Because it is lighter, the oil flows on the inside, and the solids move
towards the outer perimeter, while the water remains in the middle.
