TILTING TONG RAISING “PL” 300

The first important advantage of the “PL”

300 is its low weight in comparison with the

weight of the moved coil and its very small

overall size. Normally there aren’t any

required improvements of the hoist

equipment and it enables to make the most

of the height of the covered storage spaces

where the coils have to be handled.

The “PL” 300 needs a reduced space (~ 3.000

mm) for rotation of a coil (see attached

drawing) The power unit of the “PL” 300,

(rotation and clamping) is only

electromechanical; (no hydraulic oil and oil

leak...) The “PL” 300 functioning speed and

smoothness reduce to few minutes

operations which normally need a lot of time.

“PL” 300 ADAPTABILITY AND VERSATILITY

“PL” 300 electrical equipment is housed

within the device itself, therefore “PL” 300 is independent and can be used on various lifting installations.

Each crane needs only to be provided by a cable-reel and with a suitable control panel.

With few operations it is possible to connect, to the hook of the same crane, the “PL” 300 , a lifting magnet

or a bucket. These characteristics make the use of a “PL” 300 highly cost-effective.

SPEED AND HANDLING EASE

A single operator can easily

load/unload coils from lorries,

rotate and stack them in a storage

yard.

Please note that to pick up a coil it

is enough that a group of 4 coils

positioned one near the others has

space in their centre so that the

860 mm fixed jaw can go inside.

A complete cycle time, including

closure and rotation, is normally

between 2 and 3 minutes,

depending on the dimensions of

the moved coil.

The geometric characteristics of the products to be lifted can be various and fully managed by our

equipment, as every machine is tailor-made.

All equipment are CE marked, fully made in Italy, and they are designed as per F.E.M class,

more appropriate to the work cycle in which is subject.

Certificates of the material used, thorough checks (magnaflux, ultrasoundns, dye penetrant) on the

junctions and welding, are in every instruction manual supplied with the machine.

We can also agree with the customer, service review cycles/ assisted maintenance, to allow to our

equipment a long operating life.
