L’ idea/The idea

“Into the Music” è un ambiz ioso progettoorganizzato dall ’Associazione Un Mondo di Musica eTeamital ia, in col laborazione con la Provinc ia d iBergamo. L’iniziativa desidera diventare un happening giovaniledi musica leggera internazionale, un punto diriferimento per tutti i giovani aspiranti artisti e offireal pubblico due serate di melodia, promuovendo ill inguaggio internazionale attraverso la musica cheintratterrà i presenti.Un evento di musica leggera internazionale, un unicoconcorso con un unico vincitore assoluto: i giovaniartisti si sfideranno sul palco al ritmo di cover in l inguastraniera, creando un’occasione di incontro traappassionati e professionisti di canto.

international musical event of popular music for young

artists.

The event wants to offer the public two summer

evenings of melodies. It also aims at promoting

international dialogue through music that wil l entertain

those present.

An international music event of popular music, one

competition, one absolut prize: young singers perform

on stage to the rhythm of cover vers ions of

international hits, creating an appointment for young

singers, music lovers and professionals.

“Into the Music” vuole essere una grande cartolinaper la Provincia di Bergamo , auspicando lapromozione della Città di Bergamo e la sua Provincia alivello turistico, attraverso la musica.Il progetto ha un carattere di sicura innovatività,andando a colmare un segmento non coperto danessuna iniziativa nazionale ed internazionale.Nell 'ambito delle attività della Provincia di Bergamo, i lpresente progetto ambisce ad inser irs i sotto unduplice profi lo.Da un lato si auspica un suo inserimento all ’ interno delcalendario degl i eventi del l ’Expo 2015, cosa cheavrebbe una notevole r i levanza per i l terr i tor iobergamasco, proiettandolo al centro del panoramainternazionale musicale. Si potrebbe pensare, per glianni a venire, di organizzare l 'evento in più sessioniitineranti nella bergamasca, così da sposare la logicadell 'Expo e coinvolgere una maggiore porzione diterritorio.Da altro profi lo, i l progetto si propone come momentodi rif lessione e confronto sui temi dell ’Expo 2015,ovvero “energia per la vita” e “nutrire i l pianeta”. I l Fest ival , infatt i , mette a confronto giovaniche si “affrontano” nell ’ interpretazione di cover disuccessi internazionali.Il fatto stesso di creare un’occasione di confrontoattraverso l ’ut i l izzo di l inguaggi universal i qual imusica e arte, rappresenta un esempio di “nutrizionedel pianeta” e delle giovani generazioni.

Saranno i giovani artisti emergenti i protagonistiassoluti dell ’evento. Musica, divertimento, ospiti, passione sono le carte int a v o l a c h e g a r a n t i r a n n o u n a c o m p e t i z i o n e emozionante e due serate coinvolgenti.Una categoria unica per solisti e gruppi vocali(composti da due o più persone). Un unico concorso. Un vincitore assoluto.I brani dovranno essere unicamente delle cover dimusica leggera internazionale, eseguite dal vivo subase musicale.Sono ammessi partecipanti che nell ’anno in corsocompiano o abbiano già compiuto 14 anni.

Music, entertainment, meetings and passion are the

winning elements that wil l guarantee an excit ing

competition and two enthrall ing musical evenings.

One category for solo artists and vocal groups

(composed of two or more people)

The songs in the competition must be cover versions

of foreign songs performed live to a backing track.

The competition is open to singers from 14 years old.

Due serate di grande musica ad eliminazione, durantele quali i partecipanti si esibiranno dal vivo su basemusicale con una cover di musica leggera in l inguainternazionale.Spetterà alla Giuria scegliere chi passerà alla seratasuccessiva, fino a giungere alla finale, durante la qualeverrà decretato i l vincitore assoluto.L’ingresso è l ibero in virtù del progetto di “culturagratuita”.

During the two evenings the participants wil l sing a

live cover version of a foreign popular song to a

backing track. The Jury wil l decide on who passes to

the next round, until arriving at the final evening when

the outright winner wil l be announced.

The entrance is free in the name of the “free culture”

project.

the finalists and announce the outright winner of “Into

the music”.

I l pubbl ico presente potrà votare inviando unsemplice sms con il proprio telefono cellulare alnumero che verrà indicato durante le due serate. Chiotterrà più votazioni, vincerà i l Premio del Pubblico.

The audience can vote, simply sending a sms with a

mobile phone to a number which will be indicated

during the 2 nights. The artist who receives more

votes wins the Audience Award.

“Into the Music” is a new and ambitious initiative that

represents, for Bergamo and Province and for the

public and private partners involved, an important

occasion of visibil ity at a regional, national and

international level.

The Organising Committee has defined a mix of

communication means that guarantees an extensive

promotion and broadcasting of the event.

The following promotional supports are planned:

-Official radio of the event;

-Promotional printed material (handbil ls, posters,

brochures, official magazine of the event);

-Web-page dedicated to the event;

-Television and radio commercials;

-Redaction of newsletters and press releases;

-Presence on facebook and youtube;

-Promotional spaces.

La partecipazione al la kermesse canora “Into theMusic” prodotta dall ’Associazione Un Mondo di Musica eTeamitalia, è disciplinata nel seguente modo:

1. I criteri e le modalità di selezione degli Artistiverranno decisi in modo esclusivo e insindacabile dauna Commissione Artistica appositamente designatadal Comitato Organizzatore. Inoltre, l ’ordine diapparizione alla serata di selezione e alla Finale saràdeterminato tramite estrazione.

2. A questa kermesse a carattere internazionale dimusica leggera possono partecipare cantanti solistie gruppi vocali (composti da due o più persone), chepresent ino tassat ivamente una cover in l inguastraniera dal contenuto privo di messaggi pubblicitario d i parole che of fendano i l comune senso delpudore, le Persone, lo Stato e le Pubbliche Istituzioni.Lo scopo del la manifestazione è scoprire,valorizzare e promuovere al grande pubbliconuovi ta lent i . Per gl i art ist i che hannopartecipato alle precedenti edizioni si informache, in caso di selezione, non sarà possibileriproporre lo stesso brano già presentato gli anniscorsi.

3. L’ammissione al Festival si effettuerà tramite lasottoscrizione ed invio del modulo che trovatenel le pagine successive e sarà eff icace almomento del pagamento della somma di euro30,00 (euro trenta). Sarà possibile effettuare i lversamento sul c/c postale N. 16505240intestato a Teamitalia con la causale “IscrizioneFestival Into the Music 2012”. La somma versatanon sarà in alcun modo restituita anche in caso dieliminazione in fase di selezione.

4. Le tempistiche da osservare sono le seguenti:-entro il 15 aprile 2012: termine ultimo per l ’ inviodel materiale suddetto e per la partecipazione alla

selezione (farà fede il timbro postale);-entro il 30 aprile 2012: tutti coloro che avrannoinviato i l materiale per l ’ iscrizione riceveranno unacomunicazione relativa all ’ammissione/non ammissioneper partecipare alla serata del 18 maggio.- entro l’8 maggio 2012: il concorrente, che avràr icevuto comunicazione di selezione, dovràconsegnare o inviare almeno dieci giorni prima,presso la sede di Teamitalia in Via Zelasco 1 aBergamo, la base musicale, incisa su cd audio econtenente solo i l brano da eseguire. Penal’esclusione dal Festival. Sulla base musicale sonoammessi i cori, ma non la voce guida, in quanto ètassativamente vietato i l “playback”. Infatti i solisti ogruppi vocali cantano dal vivo.

La kermesse canora sarà così strutturata: -Venerdì 18 maggio 2012: 1° serata – SERATAELIMINATORIA. Esibizione dei concorrenti selezionatiche presenteranno un brano. Serata ad eliminazione.-Sabato 19 maggio 2012: 2° serata – FINALEEsibizione dei finalisti che presenteranno un brano. Assegnazione Premio “Into the Music” ed eventualipremi speciali a discrezione della Giuria.

5. Nell ’ambito della propria esibizione, ogni Artistapresenterà dal vivo una cover in lingua straniera osu base musicale.

6.Gli Artisti dovranno avere un’età minima di 14anni (compiuti entro la fine dell’anno in corso).Per i minorenni è tassat iva, a l momentodell’iscrizione al Festival, la firma dell’esercentela patria potestà.

7. Ogni concorrente dovrà presentarsi nel giornoe nel l ’ora comunicatogl i dal ComitatoOrganizzatore . È richiesta la massima puntualitàdurante le serate, pena l ’esc lus ione dal la

manifestazione. Inoltre, i concorrenti in gara dovrannoessere presenti fino al termine delle esibizioni dellapropria serata nel luogo di svolgimento del Festival.

8.Per partecipare alla Selezione di “Into the Music2012”, è necessario compilare i l modulo di iscrizione einviarlo o consegnarlo, con gli allegati richiesti* a:TeamItalia srl – “Festival Into the Music 2012” -Via Zelasco, 1 – 24122 Bergamo – Italia

La compilazione deve avvenire in tutte le sueparti, in stampatello, in modo chiaro e leggibile eil modulo deve essere debitamente firmato.

Termine ultimo per l ’ invio del materiale: 15 aprile2012.L’iscrizione al Festival sarà ritenuta valida solo secompleta di tutto i l materiale richiesto*:-una cover in qualsiasi lingua con traccia audiosu supporto audio CD (non inviare via mail i lfi le). Il brano può anche non essere quello che, in casodi selezione, si canterà durante le varie serate. Èimportante inviare i l cd perché necessario per essereselezionati o meno.

Inviare i seguenti materiali in formato cartaceo:-breve biografia dell’Artista;-n°1 fotografia a colori dell’Artista;-fotocopia del documento d’identità dell’Artista,oltre a quel lo del genitore, se l ’Art ista èminorenne;-r icevuta (o fotocopia) del versamento del laquota di iscrizione.

La Commissione di selezione provvederà aselezionare gli Artisti in gara solo fra coloro lacui iscrizione sarà completa di tutti i materialisopra citati.

9. E’ importante che i concorrenti selezionati perpartecipare al Festival diano fin da subito conferma,tramite e-mai l a l l ’ indir izzo event i@teamital ia.com,del la loro presenza a tutte le serate in caso diavanzamento nella kermesse musicale.

11. In caso di sospensione o interruzione ant ic ipatade l Fes t iva l , c iascun Ar t i s ta che v ipar tec ipa avrà d i r i t to a l recupero de l cos tod’ iscr iz ione.

12. Nessun compenso o r imborso verrà corr ispostoagl i Art ist i , a nessun t i tolo, in nessuna fase del lamanifestazione canora.

13. È r i ch ies to un abb ig l iamento che s iaconsono al Festival , possibi lmente elegante , unabbigl iamento che non contrast i con le norme delbuon costume, con le norme di Legge o con dir i tt i d ite rz i . Non pot ranno, a l t res ì , p ronunz iare f ras i ,compiere gest i , ut i l izzare oggett i o indossare capi divest iar io avent i r i fe r iment i anche ind i ret tamentepubbl ic i tar i e/o promozional i .

14. Le spese di v iaggio e soggiorno sono a car icodegl i Art ist i .

15. Gl i Art ist i dovranno sempre presentarsi con undocumento di r iconoscimento val ido e con relat ivomateriale per la propria esibiz ione.

16. I l Comi ta to Organ izzatore s i impegna adosservare tutte le disposiz ioni emanate dal la S.I.A.E.in materia di manifestazioni analoghe.

17. I l Comitato Organ izzatore s i r i servaespressamente , in caso d i inadempienza a lseguente regolamento, di poter escludere dal lamanifestazione canora, in qualsiasi momento esenza r imborso alcuno, l ’ inadempiente o gl iinadempienti .

18. Gl i Art ist i , iscr ivendosi, garantiscono al ComitatoOrganizzatore di non violare con la loro esibiz ioned i r i t t i d i te rz i e to lgono a quest ’u l t ima ogn iresponsabi l i tà.

19. E’ facoltà del Comitato Organizzatore registraree/o r iprendere e/o far registrare e/o far r iprendere edif fondere da terzi una o più fasi del la kermesse, al i ve l lo te lev i s ivo, aud iov is ivo, fo togra f i co efonogra f i co. E ’ ino l t re faco l tà de l Comi ta toOrganizzatore abbinare al la manifestazione e/o al ladi f fusione televis iva e/o radiofonica del lo stessa unao più iniz iat ive a carattere promo-pubbl ic i tar io, fracui a t i to lo esempl i f icat ivnon esaust ivo: operazioni dipatrocin io, sponsor izzazioni , merchandis ing, senzache a l cuno deg l i Ar t i s t i possa avere nu l la apretendere.

20. I dir i t t i d ’autore dei brani presentat i r imangonodi totale proprietà di autor i e compositor i dei branistessi , così come i dir i t t i d i commercial izzazione. I lpartecipante autor izza i l Comitato Organizzatore al ladi f fusione radiotelevis iva del brano presentato al lakermesse canora, al l ’ut i l izzo del nome d’arte, del leinformazioni biograf iche inviate al l ’atto del l ’ iscr iz ionee del le immagini del partecipante, nel l ’ interesse delpar tec ipante s tesso, esc lus ivamente per f in ipromozional i e di comunicazione inerenti a l Fest ival.

21. I l Comitato Organizzatore s i r iserva di apportare,se necessar io, eventua l i mod i f i che a l p resenteRegolamento.

22. In caso di controversie i l Foro competente sarà invia esclusiva quel lo del Tr ibunale di Bergamo.

23. I l v incitore Into the Music 2012 ha i l d ir i t to dipartecipare gratuitamente al l ’ediz ione 2013.

The rules for participating in the song festival called“Into the Music” produced by the “Un Mondo di Musica”Association and Teamitalia are as follows:

1. The criteria and methods for selecting the Artistsshall be decided exclusively and categorically by anArtistic Commission specifically set up for this purposeby the Organising Committee. The order of appearanceat the selection and final evenings wil l be determinedby a random drawing.

2. This international festival is open to soloArtists or vocal groups (composed of two or morepeople), who must perform a cover version of aforeign song of popular music that does not containadvert is ing messages or words that may of fendcommon decency, people, the state and publ icinst i tut ions. The purpose of this event is todiscover new talent. Who competed to the lastedition can’t sing the same song of 2011.

3. Admission to the Festival is made by the signingand sending of the application form reportedinthe next pages and shal l be effect ive uponpayment of 30 (thirty) Euros. Payment can be madeto “Teamitalia,” postal account number 16505240with the description “Subscription Festival Intothe Music 2012”. The amount paid wil l not be refun-ded under any circumstances, not even in the event ofelimination in the selection phase.

4.The dates and times of the competition are as follows-by 15th April 2012: f inal date for sending the abovement ioned mater ia ls and for taking part in theselect ions (the postmark date shal l be proof ofdispatch);-by 30th April 2012: everyone who sent the materialfor entering into the selections wil l be informed byletter whether or not he/she has been admitted to the18 May evening.

- by 8th May 2012: the contestant, who will bereceived the communication of selection, mustlet us have at Teamitalia office (Via Zelasco 1 –24122 Bergamo) at least a ten days before thedate of the Festival, the audio track on CD onwhich the contestant wi l l s ing his song. IfTeamitalia doesn’t receive it, the contestant willbe disqualified. On the audio track, chorus areadmitted but not the guide voice, because the paybackis forbidden. Indeed solo artists and vocal groups singlive.

The song festival shall be structured as follows: -Friday, 18th May 2012: 1st evening -ELIMINATIONSExhibi t ion of se lected contestants who wi l l eachperform a song. Elimination.- Saturday, 19th May 2012: 2nd Evening – FINALExhibition of the finalists who will each perform a song. Awarding of the WINNER of the “Into the Music 2012”and eventual other prizes.

5.As part of their exhibition, each Artist sing a coversong using a backing track.

6.The Artists must be 14 years old. For minors,registration to the Festival must be accompaniedby the signature of a parent or legal guardian.

7.Contestants must present themselves on theday and at the time communicated to them by theOrganising Committee with the backing track on anaudio CD containing only the song to be performed, forthe sound check. The backing track can containrecorded backing vocals, but not the lead vocals, sincesinging in playback is absolutely prohibited. Maximumpunctuality is required during the evenings, underpenalty of being excluded from the event. In addition,contestants must be present in the venue where thefest ival is held during every performance of the

evening.

8.To participate in the Selection of the “Into the Music2012” complete the application form and send orhand-del iver i t together with the requestedattachments to:

Participation in the Song Festival is valid only ifall the requested material is complete. Please complete all fields clearly and legibly.

The Selection Commission will select the Artists toparticipate in the competition from among those whosent the following material:-a cover song of popular music in a foreignlanguage with an audio track on CD. (not sendthe file by mail) The song does not necessarily haveto be the one that, in case of selection, the entrant wil lsing during the festival. It ’s important send us the cdbecause it is necessary for the selection.

11. In case of suspension or early interrupt ion of theFest ival, each part ic ipat ing Art ist shal l have the r ightto recover the entry fee.

12. No compensation or reimbursement shal l be paidto the Art ists at any t ime during the song fest ival.

13. A l l the Ar t i s ts are requ i red to dressappropriately in accordance with the standards ofpub l i c decency, the law and th i rd-par ty r ights ,elegance dress i f i t ’s possible. Furthermore, theycannot pronounce phrases , make gestures , useobjects or wear c lothing having advert is ing and/orpromotional references, not even indirect ly.

14. Travel and accommodation expenses are to bepaid by the Art ists.

15. The Art ists must always present themselves witha val id ident i f icat ion document and with al l thematerial relat ing to their performance.

16. The Organis ing Committee shal l comply with al lthe prov is ions i ssued by the S. I .A .E . regard ingsimi lar types of events.

17. The Organ is ing Commit tee express lyreserves the r ight, in case of non-observance ofthe fol lowing rule, to exclude the default ingparty or part ies from the song festival , at anyt ime and wi thout compensat ion orreimbursement of any kind.

18. By enter ing the fest ival, the Art ist ensures theOrganis ing Committee that his/her performance shal lnot violate third-party r ights and shal l rel ieve thislatter of any l iabi l i ty.

19. The Organis ing Committee has the r ight to recordand/or f i lm and/or have recorded and/or have f i lmedand distr ibuted to third part ies, one or more phaseso f the fes t iva l , fo r te lev i s ion , aud iov isua l ,photograph ic and phonograph ic purposes . TheOrganis ing Committee also has the r ight to l ink oneor more promotional/advert is ing init iat ives to theevent and/or to i t s te lev i sed and/or rad iot ransmiss ion ( i .e . pat ronage operat ions ,sponsorsh ips , merchand is ing) w i thout the Ar t i s thaving any claim whatsoever.

20. Royalt ies of the songs presented shal l remain thecomplete property of the authors and composers ofthe songs themselves, as shal l the market ing r ights.The part ic ipants authorise the Organis ing Committeeto broadcast the song presented at the song fest ival,to use the stage name, biographical information sent

upon registrat ion and pictures of the part ic ipant, inthe part ic ipant 's interest, exclusively for promotingand publ ic is ing the Fest ival.

21. The Organis ing Committee has the r ight tochange these rules, i f necessary.

22. In case of disputes, the competent courts ofBergamo shal l have exclusive jur isdict ion.

23. The Outr ight winner of the Fest ival 2012 has ther ight to part ic ipate f ree of charge in the 2013Fest ival.
