Una volta i miei viaggi in moto avevano sempre un ob-biettivo da raggiungere. Mi dicevo: voglio andare là, vo-glio vedere quel posto. Ma piano piano la meta dei miei giri è cambiata. Essere in sella e andare è lo scopo dei miei viaggi: è la strada in sé. Così, quando parto devo solo decidere se andare a Nord o a Sud, a Est o a Ovest.

In the past I always rode my motorbike with a specific destination in mind. I used to tell myself: I want to go there, I want to see that place, but little by little my reasons for riding have changed. Today it is the ride and being on the road itself that is the true purpose of my tours. So, the only thing I need to decide before taking off, is whether to go North or South, East or West.

This is how it works when I ride my motorbike: shall I go right or left? And in an instant my choice is made: I’ll go left this time. Why? Maybe because I like the curve in the road, or maybe I can imagine that it could possibly turn into a scenic route, or maybe I just don’t feel like looking at the treasure map, or... or I’ll go right instead.

Erano gli anni ’70. Il motociclismo fuoristrada viveva il suo primo momento d’oro, imponendosi all’attenzione delle cronache e conquistando milioni di appassionati con gare che sono entrate nella leggenda dello sport. Campionati del mondo di Regolarità, Trial e Six Days rappresentavano al tempo stesso il banco di prova e la consacrazione per i migliori tra piloti, mezzi, materiali. Terreni e contesti selettivi, sui quali i capi Brema sono stati subito i protagonisti, collezionando trionfi e allori con i più grandi campioni delle diverse specialità.

It was the 1970s and off-road motor-biking was in its heyday, making headlines and conquering millions of fans, thanks to races that have gone down in sports history. Regularity, Trial and Six Days World Championships represented both the testing ground and the consecration for the best riders, vehicles and materials. Nello sportswear oggi è normale abbinare un pantalone ad una t-shirt dal colore sobrio o forte che sia, ad una camicia bianca, per avere un mood che possa adattarsi alle diverse situazioni o magari perché quelli sono i colori che “vanno” al momento; bene è proprio questo tipo di desiderio che abbiamo nel vivere quotidiano che ha fatto nascere il progetto MAKE: pantaloni e maglie che possono essere abbinate a proprio piacimento. Nowadays, pairing pants with either a light or bright coloured t-shirt, or with a white shirt is quite usual in the sportswear world, for two main reasons: it can adapt to any particular ‘mood’ one might be in, or that such colours are trendy at the moment. This everyday ‘desire’ is the drive which has led us to the creation of our MAKE project: pants and jerseys that can be mixed and matched as you like! Brema si riaffaccia sulla scena agonistica all’inizio del 2000, forte della grande tradizione e decisa a mettere a frutto tutta la passione, l’esperienze e le conoscenze tecniche che fanno parte del suo DNA. Immediatamente sale sui gradini più alti del podio dell’Enduro e dei Rally. Già nel 2007 Mika Ahola si laurea Campione Mondiale, bissando il suo successo nel 2008. Nel 2010 Marc Coma regala a Brema il titolo di Campione del Mondo Rally, nel 2013 è Alex Salvini a salire sul tetto del mondo nell’Endu-ro. Successi prestigiosi, che ci proiettano nel futuro con la certezza che il tempo passa, ma i valori che hanno fatto di Brema un marchio unico rimangono immutati.

Brema returned to the world of motorbike competitions at the beginning of the 2000’s, made stronger by its noteworthy traditional background and determined to put all the passion, experience and technical knowledge that constitute its DNA to good use. Brema, in fact, immediately climbed to the top of the Enduro and Rally podiums. In 2007 Mika Ahola became World Champion, only to repeat his success in 2008. In 2010 Marc Coma won Brema the title of World Rally Champion, in 2013 Alex Salvini was at the top of the world in the Enduro category. Prestigious successes that have thrust Brema into the future and continue to do so, certain that even with the passing of time the values that have made Brema a one-of-a-kind brand will remain unchanged.
