1.4 IDENTIFICAZIONE PERSONALE ADDETTO

L’utilizzatore si può distinguere in due figure principali che in alcuni casi sono identificabili in un’unica persona:

a) L’operatore per la conduzione della macchina ha il compito di:

- avviare e controllare il funzionamento automatico della macchina

- effettuare semplici operazioni di regolazione

- eliminare cause di arresto della macchina che non interessino rotture di organi ma semplici anomalie di funzionamento

L’operatore per la manutenzione della macchina è un tecnico qualificato, in grado di operare sulla macchina in condizioni di protezioni aperte e di intervenire sugli organi meccanici ed elettrici per effettuare regolazioni, manutenzioni e riparazioni.

1.4 USER IDENTIFICATION

The user can be identified as two main individuals which in some cases can be a single person:

a) The operator that runs the machine is responsible for:

- starting up and controlling the automatic operation of the machine

- carrying out simple adjustment operations

- eliminating the causes of machine shutdown that do not concern faulty parts but simple operating irregularities

- cleaning the machine

The operator that carries out maintenance on the machine is a qualified technician who is able to operate on the machine with the protection barriers open and to intervene on the mechanical and electrical parts to carry out adjustments, maintenance and repairs.

In addition to the need to strictly comply with the indications contained in this manual, the operators must report any faults or potentially hazardous situations that may occur to their direct superiors.

The employer is responsible for distributing this document to all the staff that will be involved with the machine.

Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione sulla macchina, gli utilizzatori devono leggere attentamente le istruzioni contenute nella presente pubblicazione.

1.6 ATTACHMENTS The following documents are attached to this manual:

External vibrator motor manual (only for CV).

1.7 GUARANTEE The vibrating screens are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of delivery. For the entire duration of this period EMILOS Srl undertakes to eliminate any defects as long as the machine has been used correctly.

The replacement of parts with others that are not approved or supplied by EMILOS Srl and any modifications made will automatically cancel the guarantee. The removal or alteration of the identification plates applied to the machine will also cancel the guarantee.

Those materials and parts subject to normal wear are excluded from the guarantee, as is any accidental damage caused by transporting, mishandling or improper use of the machine that does not comply with the warnings in this manual.

EMILOS Srl accepts no responsibility for any injuries or damage caused if the vibrating screen is used for purposes others than those permitted.

The staff using the machine must be of sound body and mind.

Never approach moving parts with your hands.

Pay attention to the specific notices on the machine.

Before carrying out any intervention, the electricity supply must be cut off.

All scheduled and unscheduled maintenance must be carried out by specific, specialised technical staff. (See sect. 1.4).

Do not use the machine in any other way than described in this manual.

DESCRIZIONE GENERALE

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

2.1 COMPOSIZIONE I vibrovagli modello SL – CR – ECO – CV sono composti essenzialmente da due parti principali:

a) La parte statica costituita dal basamento che è normalmente costruito in acciaio inox o ferro

verniciato o formato da un carrello in acciaio inox a tre o più ruote.

b) La parte vibrante formata da più componenti:

- Una o più fasce aventi lo scarico del residuo di forma diversa a seconda dell’utilizzo (in acciaio inox), completa di guarnizione.

- Un telaio portarete comprensivo di anellini tendirete (in acciaio inox)

- Una guarnizione in gomma montata nel telaio portarete

- Un disco di base (in acciaio inox) avente una o due bocche di scarico, che si differenzia secondo i modelli:

SL con fondo concavo

CR con fondo convesso

ECO con fondo sferico

- Un anello di serraggio con morsetti per tenere uniti tutti i pezzi che costituiscono la parte vibrante.

- Un motovibratore progettato e costruito a tenuta per evitare infiltrazioni di polvere ed acqua.

- Per il modello CV la canala vibrante è costituita da una vasca a sezione rettangolare (in acciaio inox) poggiante su apposito telaio interposto da dieci molle elicoidali di grosso spessore. I due motovibratori sono del tipo esterno e sono installati su di un supporto inclinato posto sulla vasca.

Le reti che operano la setacciatura possono essere di diverso tipo a seconda del prodotto da lavorare e della frazione che si vuole ottenere.

Le caratteristiche peculiari di una rete sono il diametro del filo con cui è costruita e la luce, cioè la distanza tra i fili.

2.1 COMPOSITION The SL – CR – ECO – CV models of vibrating screen are basically made up of two main parts:

a) The static part is made up of a bedplate that is generally made from painted iron or stainless

steel or is made up of a steel trolley with three or more wheels.

b) The vibrating part is made up of several elements:

- One or more bands that have different shaped residue discharge holes depending on use (in stainless steel), complete with gasket.

- A screen holding frame including screen tensioning rings (in stainless steel)

- A rubber gasket mounted on the screen holding frame

- A base disk (in stainless steel) with one or two discharge outlets, which is different depending on the model:

SL with concave bottom

CR with convex bottom

ECO with round bottom

- A locking ring with clamps to keep all the elements that make up the vibrating part together.

- A vibrator motor that has been designed and built to be watertight to prevent dust and water infiltration.

- In model CV the vibrating duct is made up of a rectangular section tray (in stainless steel) that rests on a special frame placed between ten thick spiral springs. The two vibrator motors are external and are installed on a sloping support positioned on the tray.

There can be different types of sieving screens depending on the product to be processed and the fraction to be obtained.

The special characteristics of a screen are the diameter of the wire from which it is made and the clearance, i.e. the size of the opening between the wires.


2.2 DATI TECNICI Nella tabella di seguito riportata sono indicati tutti i vibrovagli prodotti con le proprie dimensioni d’ingombro e pesi; questi dati possono essere utili al momento del sollevamento e piazzamento del vibrovaglio.

Il diametro ( ) è quello massimo del setaccio.

La larghezza (L) è quella massima che comprende l’ingombro delle bocche di scarico.

L’altezza (H) è quella del vibrovaglio dotato di una sola fascia.

2.2 TECHNICAL DATA The table below shows all the vibrating screens manufactured with their overall dimensions and weights: this information may be useful when lifting and positioning the vibrating screen.

CAMPO D’IMPIEGO

USES

3.1 USO PREVISTO I vibrovagli EMILOS Srl possono essere impiegati per setacciare i prodotti più svariati: solidi, liquidi, umidi, secchi, alimentari e non.

La sanificazione della macchina è garantita dai materiali impiegati e da particolari accorgimenti costruttivi che evitano il formarsi di depositi di prodotto.

L’uso previsto per la macchina in oggetto dipende dal suo allestimento, in accordo con le specifiche contrattuali richieste dal cliente.

3.2 USO NON PREVISTO È vietato:

- lavorare prodotti diversi da quelli per cui la macchina è stata allestita e venduta;

- modificare il funzionamento della macchina;

- sostituire pezzi con ricambi non originali

- utilizzare la macchina in ambienti con atmosfera aggressiva (se a contatto con il motovibratore).

Prima di ogni eventuale modifica è obbligatorio contattare la EMILOS Srl per il relativo benestare.

3.1 INTENDED USE The EMILOS Srl vibrating screens are used to sieve a wide range of products: solids, liquids, wet or dry materials, foodstuffs and more.

The hygiene of the machine is guaranteed by the materials used and by particular construction techniques that prevent deposits of product from forming.

The intended use of this machine depends on its fitting-out, in accordance with the contractual specifications requested by the client.

3.2 IMPROPER USE The following are strictly prohibited:

- processing products that are different to those for which the machine was fitted-out and sold;

- modifying the operation of the machine;

- replacing components using non-original spare parts

- using the machine in aggressive environments (if in contact with the vibrator motor);

Before any modifications are made, EMILOS Srl must be contacted for relevant approval.


3.3 CONDIZIONI AMBIENTALI Le condizioni ambientali di lavoro e stoccaggio della macchina non devono avere requisiti particolari poiché è costruita per operare in ambienti polverosi ed a diretto contatto con l’acqua.

Indicativamente le condizioni ambientali consigliabili sono le seguenti:

SEVERAL ADHESIVES ARE APPLIED TO THE VIBRATING SCREENS TO SAFEGUARD BOTH OPERATOR AND MACHINE.

Cleaning, adjustment, lubrication and repairs are strictly prohibited while the machine is in operation.

Removing the safety devices while the machine is in operation is strictly prohibited.

7.1 RICEVIMENTO E CONTROLLO Al ricevimento della macchina eseguire i seguenti controlli:

7.2 STOCCAGGIO Nel caso la macchina non venga installata immediatamente si dovrà procedere nel seguente modo:

- Immagazzinare al coperto in ambiente riparato dagli agenti atmosferici.

- I quadri ed in generale tutte le parti elettriche / elettroniche devono rimanere imballati in modo da poter essere protetti dall’umidità.

- La temperatura dell’ambiente di stoccaggio deve essere compreso fra +5°C e +50°C.

- Tutte le parti con scorrimenti (guide, cilindri…) devono essere protette contro la polvere e l’ossidazione.

- Il tempo di immagazzinamento è bene non superi i 6 mesi. In caso di stoccaggi per periodi più lunghi è opportuno prima di procedere con l’installazione contattare il costruttore per una verifica delle condizioni della macchina.

7.2 STORAGE In the event that the machine is not being installed immediately, proceed as follows:

- Store undercover in an area that is protected from the elements.

- The electrical panels, and in general all the electric /electronic parts, must remain in their packaging so that they are protected from humidity.

- The storage area temperature must be between +5°C and +50°C.

- All sliding parts (guides, cylinders...) must be protected against dust and oxidation.

- Storage should not be for more than 6 months. In the event of storage for longer periods, before proceeding with installation contact the manufacturer to verify the conditions of the machine.

- Durante le operazioni di movimentazione usare protezioni personali quali guanti da lavoro, scarpe con suola antiscivolo, casco da lavoro.

- Sollevare il vibrovaglio utilizzando fasce, come mostra la figura, posiziona e in modo che il peso sia bilanciato e mette lentamente in tensione le fasce.

- Keep away from hanging loads and make sure that the lifting vehicle and relevant equipment is in perfect condition and has an adequate load capacity.

- During operations to move the machine, use personal protection equipment such as safety gloves, non-slip footwear and a hardhat.

- Lift the vibrating screen using straps, as shown in the illustration, positioned so that the weight is balanced and by placing the straps slowly under tension.

NO MORE THAN TWO VIBRATING SCREENS MUST BE INSTALLED ON ONE PLATFORM AS WHEN OPERATING SIMULTANEOUSLY THEY RESONATE, REDUCING SIEVING POWER AND DAMAGING THE STRUCTURES.

Dopo il posizionamento, prima di bloccarlo è bene controllare che sia “a livello”, che l’anello di assemblaggio che unisce il telaio portarete, la fascia superiore ed il disco di base, sia serrato fortemente, e che le molle siano inserite perfettamente nei guidamolla.

Tra la macchina ed il piano di appoggio non deve essere interposto nessun materiale antivibrante.

Assicurarsi che le parti vibranti della macchina non siano a contatto con corpi estranei.

Rispettare una distanza di almeno 20 cm attorno al vibrovaglio.

After positioning, before fastening, the following checks should be made: that the machine is level, the assembly ring that holds together the screen holding frame, the upper band and the base disk is fastened tightly and that the springs are inserted fully into the spring guides.

There must be no anti-vibrating material placed between the machine and the supporting surface.

Make sure that the vibrating parts of the machine are not in contact with foreign bodies.

Keep a clear space of at least 20 cm around the vibrating screen.

Nel caso in cui il cavo esca verticalmente dal pressacavo occorre fargli compiere una curva molto ampia. Al contrario se il cavo esce in modo orizzontale deve continuare lungo questa direzione.

If the cable exits the cable gland vertically, it must make a very wide curve. Otherwise, if it exits horizontally, it must continue in the same direction.

Il senso di rotazione del motore deve essere antiorario come indicato sull’adesivo applicato alla macchina, in caso contrario basta invertire le fasi.

The motor must rotate in an anti-clockwise direction as indicated on the adhesive applied to the machine, otherwise simply invert the phases.

Prima di eseguire il collegamento elettrico alla linea verificare:

- L’adeguata sezione dei cavi elettrici utilizzati.

- Che i valori della frequenza e della tensione di alimentazione della macchina (vedere targhetta applicata al motovibratore) corrispondano ai valori della rete di alimentazione.

- Che sia predisposto un dispositivo magnetotermico, proporzionato alla potenza del motovibratore (vedere potenza ed assorbimento indicati sulla sua targa di identificazione) e dotato di bobina di sgancio, per evitare il riavvio improvviso del vibrovaglio dopo un black-out.

- The section of the electric cables used is suitable.

- The frequency and supply voltage values of the machine (see plate on the vibrator motor) correspond to the values of the mains supply.

- A thermal-magnetic circuit breaker, that is proportionate to the vibrator motor power (see the power and input indicated on the identification plate), has been supplied and that there is a release coil to prevent sudden start-up of the screen following a black-out.

7.6 VERIFICHE PRE-UTILIZZO Prima di mettere in funzione la macchina assicurarsi che sia efficiente eseguendo i seguenti controlli e verifiche per ottenere il migliore rendimento ed il rispetto delle norme di sicurezza.

- Controllare che non vi siano viti o parti di qualunque tipo allentate.

- Controllare che tutte le operazioni di posizionamento e fissaggio siano state ben eseguite, verificando soprattutto che le parti vibranti non vadano a contatto con parti estranee al vibrovaglio.

- Per la salvaguardia del motovibratore controllare che la tensione in entrata non superi il valore nominale.

- Verificare che il senso di rotazione del motore sia corretto, in accordo alle indicazioni applicate sulla macchina.

- Controllare che tutte le connessioni elettriche siano eseguite bene ed in particolare la posizione del cavo elettrico all’uscita del pressacavo.

7.6 CHECKS PRIOR TO USE Before starting up the machine make sure that it is efficient by carrying out the following controls and checks to obtain the best performance and compliance with safety standards.

- Check that there are no loose screws or parts.

- Check that all the operations to position and anchor the machine have been carried out properly, above all, check that the vibrating parts do not come into contact with any elements that are not part of the actual screen.

- To safeguard the vibrator motor, check that the incoming voltage does not exceed the nominal value.

- Check that the motor rotating direction is correct, in accordance with the indication applied on the machine.

- Check that all the electrical connections have been carried out properly and, in particular, check the position of the cable as it exits the cable gland.

Correct cable installation.

Apply a layer of seal silicone paste along the entire flange.

Replace the self-locking nuts and tighten the new ones at 10 – 12 Kgm depending on the bolt.

Avoid the cable coming into contact with the lower cover: this would cause the cable to fray and the motor to burn out!

Do not place the cable under too much tension, to prevent it from breaking and the motor burning out!

Nei vari paesi sono in vigore legislazioni differenti, pertanto si devono osservare le prescrizioni imposte dalle leggi e dagli enti preposti dei paesi dove avviene la demolizione.

Seguire la seguente procedura.

- Scollegare la macchina dalla rete elettrica.

- Consultare le leggi vigenti nel paese dell’utilizzatore in ambito tutela dell’ambiente.

- Smontare la macchina raggruppando i componenti secondo la loro natura chimica.

- Procedere alla rottamazione nel rispetto delle leggi vigenti nel paese dell’utilizzatore.

- Osservare scrupolosamente, durante le fasi di smontaggio, le prescrizioni in materia di sicurezza dei lavoratori.

Different countries have different legislation, therefore the requirements of the law and the relevant authorities in the countries where demolition takes place, must be observed.

Follow the procedure below.

- Disconnect the machine from the mains electricity supply.

- Consult the current laws on environmental protection in the user’s country.

- Dismantle the machine and group the parts together depending on their chemical nature.

- Proceed to scrapping in compliance with the current laws in the user’s country.

- During dismantlement, the requirements on health and safety of workers must be strictly observed.

Il prodotto alimentato sulla rete, per le vibrazioni del sistema, si separa nelle granulometrie diverse e viene mandato verso le bocche di scarico.

Il prodotto da separare, sia umido o secco, deve essere introdotto nel vaglio con una portata continua e perpendicolare alla rete filtrante, con velocità uniforme e costante, all’interno di un diffusore in modo da eliminare l’impatto violento sulla rete.

Per un miglior funzionamento, il prodotto deve essere caricato nell’esatto centro della rete.

Nel caso di separazione e classificazione di prodotti asciutti, la bocca di carico deve essere posta al centro, il prodotto deve essere alimentato con la più bassa velocità possibile.

La massa eccentrica superiore del motovibratore provoca una vibrazione di senso orizzontale, mentre quella inferiore provoca invece una coppia che si esplica in una vibrazione verticale, utile per il disintasamento della rete.

Mediante lo sfasamento della massa posta all’estremità inferiore dell’albero del motovibratore è possibile regolare:

- L’ampiezza della vibrazione

- L’andamento spiraliforme del prodotto sulla rete setacciante.

- La velocità di avanzamento del prodotto.

- Il tempo di permanenza del prodotto.

Nel disegno che segue, sono indicati quattro esempi tipici di movimento del solido in base al diverso angolo di sfasamento. In esso si rileva che con:

The product supplied to the screen is sieved into different particle sizes by the vibrating action of the system, and is then sent to the discharge outlets.

The product to be sieved, whether wet or dry, must be fed into the screen in a steady flow and perpendicularly to the sieving screen, with a steady and constant speed. A diffuser is used to avoid hard impacts with the screen.

For optimum performance, the product must be fed into the exact centre of the screen.

In the case of separation and classification of dry products, the feeding inlet must be positioned at the centre, the product must be fed in as slowly as possible.

The upper eccentric mass of the vibrator motor generates vibration in a horizontal direction, whereas the lower generates a torque that causes vertical vibration, ideal for unclogging the screen.

The following adjustments can be made by displacing the mass positioned at the lower end of the vibrator motor shaft:

- Vibrating range

- The helical feeding of the product on the sieving screen

- The speed of the product feed

- The time the product remains on the screen.

Per tutti gli angoli intermedi si hanno tempi diversi di permanenza del materiale “grosso” sulla rete.

Se il prodotto sulla rete tende ad aumentare, vuol dire che lo scarico è insufficiente, occorre allora diminuire l’angolo di sfasamento, o aumentare le masse sull’eccentrico superiore.

Se nello scarico del “grosso” è presente del prodotto “fine” bisogna invece aumentare l’angolo di sfasamento.

For all the intermediate angles, the time that the “large” material remains on the screen differs.

If the product on the screen tends to increase, this means that discharge is insufficient, so the displacement angle must be decreased, or the upper eccentric masses increased.

If discharge of “large” pieces also include “fine” product then the displacement angle must be increased.

9.1 REGOLAZIONE DELLA VIBRAZIONE

9.1 VIBRATION ADJUSTMENT

Per regolare l’angolo di sfasamento della massa eccentrica inferiore si deve:

- Svitare e togliere il coperchio del motovibratore.

- Allentare la vite che fissa la massa sull’albero e ruotare la massa nella posizione voluta facendo corrispondere la tacca di riferimento con il valore dell’angolo scelto stampigliato sulla testa dell’albero motore.

- Serrare la vite e rimontare il coperchio assicurandosi che la guarnizione OR sia ben posizionata.

To adjust the displacement angle of the lower eccentric mass:

- Unscrew and remove the cover from the vibrator motor.

- Loosen the screw that fastens the mass to the shaft and rotate the mass into the position required by placing the reference notch to correspond to the value of the chosen angle that is printed on the head of the motor shaft.

- Tighten the screw and replace the cover, make sure that the OR gasket is positioned correctly.

USE SAFETY GLOVES WHEN MAKING THESE ADJUSTMENTS. PERFORM ADJUSTMENTS WHEN THE MACHINE HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN AND THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY DISCONNECTED.

Il personale addetto alla manutenzione dovrà indossare i previsti D.P.I.

10.1 CUSCINETTI I cuscinetti del motovibratore montato sui modelli SL e CR sono del tipo C3-C4 per motovibratori a tenuta stagna, e non necessitano di manutenzione. Pertanto non sono previsti punti di ingrassaggio.

Il grasso consigliato è STABURAGS NBU 12 marca KLUEBER LUBRIFICATION.

La quantità di grasso da introdurre è 8÷10 grammi per il cuscinetto superiore e circa 5 grammi per il cuscinetto inferiore. È opportuno provare a pesare preventivamente la quantità di grasso che esce dalla pompa per non superare le quantità indicate.

È obbligatorio sostituire i cuscinetti con altri uguali o equivalenti dopo 5000 ore di funzionamento.

Per lo smontaggio fare riferimento al disegno esploso riportato nel capitolo ELENCO RICAMBI.

Nel rimontare il motovibratore si devono sostituire la pasta siliconica ad alta temperatura ed i dadi autobloccanti che dovranno essere con chiave dinamometrica tarata 10:12 kgm.

10.1 BEARINGS The bearings of the vibrator motor fitted on the SL and CR models are of the C3-C4 type for watertight vibrator motors and do not need any maintenance. Therefore they do not feature any greasing point.

We recommend using STABURAGS NBU 12 grease, KLUEBER LUBRIFICATION maker.

The quantity of grease to introduce is 8-10 g. for the upper bearing and approx. 5 g. for the lower bearing. It is recommended to weigh the quantity of grease coming out of the pump so as not to exceed the quantities suggested.

The bearings must be replaced with others of the same or equivalent type after 5000 hours of operation.

When dismantling, refer to the exploded view in chapter SPARE PARTS LIST.

When assembling the vibrator motor again, the high-temperature silicone paste must be replaced as well as the self-locking nuts which will be tightened with a dynamometric wrench calibrated at 10:12 kgm.

10.2 SOSTITUZIONE RETI Per quanto riguarda le reti, queste devono essere sempre perfettamente tese per evitare rotture frequenti.

Si devono sostituire le reti del vibrovaglio in caso di rottura o di intasamento irrimediabile.

Per la sostituzione seguire le istruzioni riportate a seguito facendo riferimento alla figura.

1. Porre il telaio su di un piano dopo aver tolto la vecchia rete allentando gli anelli tendirete. Preparare la nuova rete A in misura maggiore del telaio. Predisporre l’anello tendirete B con le apposite viti ad un diametro interno prossimo al diametro esterno del telaio.

2. Calzare l’anello B sul telaio disponendolo subito nella gola superiore C. Serrare leggermente le viti, dopodiché spingere l’anello con una chiave fino alla gola inferiore D e stringere le viti; così facendo sarà possibile notare che la rete inizierà a tendersi.

3. Infine calzare il secondo anello E nella gola superiore e serrare le viti a fondo. In tal modo la rete si tenderà ulteriormente assicurando un perfetto piano. Infine tagliare la rete eccedente lasciando libero il labbro F del telaio.

10.2 SCREEN REPLACEMENT As far as the screens are concerned, these must always be perfectly taut to avoid frequent breakage.

The screens of the vibrating screen must be replaced in the event of breakage or if irretrievably blocked.

To replace the screens follow the instructions shown below while referring to the illustration.

1. Remove the old screen by loosening the screen tensioning rings and place the frame on a flat surface. Prepare new screen A in a size that is larger than the frame. Prepare screen tensioning ring B with the special screws at an internal diameter that is close to the external diameter of the frame.

2. Fit ring B onto the frame by placing it immediately in upper slot C. Lightly fasten the screws then push the ring with a wrench until it reaches lower slot D and then tighten the screws; you will note how the screen starts to become taut.

3. Lastly, fit second ring E into the upper slot and fully tighten the screws. This will make the screen tauter and guarantee a perfectly flat surface. Lastly, cut away the excess screen so that lip F of the frame remains free.

10.3 PULIZIA Il vibrovaglio non necessita di pulizia particolare, ma nel caso sia necessario si deve intervenire,a seconda del prodotto trattato, o con aria compressa o con acqua.

Nel caso si usino detergenti, è consigliabile evitare il contatto degli stessi con la carcassa del motovibratore.

10.3 CLEANING The vibrating screen does not require any special cleaning; anyway, in case it is necessary, clean with compressed air or water depending on the processed product.

If detergents are used, we recommend to avoid any contact with the case of the vibrator motor.
