Nel 2011 Maiden-Art e' stato anche scelto come brand Italiano a rappresentare il made in Italy alla prestigiosa fiera Internazionale IFF di Tokyo, grazie alla sponsorizzazione di Hot House-Milano Pret a Porter. Nel Febbraio 2012 la designer di Maiden-Art Mari-stella Colombo e' stata scelta tra i finalisti del prestigioso premio Giovani Imprenditori della provincia di Novara, ricevendo un riconoscimento per il lavoro svolto e per diffondere un prodotto ricercato del Made in Italy nel Mondo. Maiden-Art is an Italian jewelry and accessories brand based in Milan and founded in 2007 by Maristella Colombo. Maiden-Art means Pure Art, in other words to dress the Art. Its world is made of research, innovation and irony. Maiden-Art collections are created with the language of Italian elegance, sophisticated and glamorous. All creations are made exclusi-vely in the best quality materials and entirely handmade by Italian crafst-man. Maiden-Art is not only about fashion, but it’s the result of the fusion between art and experimentation. The artistic work of the designer like photography, video art, performance become naturally the inspiration for Maiden-Art’s creations. The brand Maiden-Art was selected by Vogue Talents and the brand was included in the list of 140 Emerging Designers of Vogue Italy, thanks to a collection of small precious jewels clutches for P/E2011. Maiden-Art in 2011 and was also selected as a brand to repre-sent the Italian made in Italy at the prestigious International Exhibition IFF Tokyo, thanks to the sponsorship of Hot House-Milano Pret a Por-ter. Maristella Colombo e' una designer Italiana che vive e lavora a Milano, dove ha conseguito una laurea in Art Direction pres-so la Facoltà di Comunicazione e Visual Design dell’Università “The International College of Arts and Sciences” di Milano. Nel 2003 si trasferisce prima a New York e poi a Londra, dove ha conseguito un Master in Fashion Design presso l’Istituto Maran-goni, diploma in Textile Design e diploma in Fashion Business & Management presso il London College of Fashion di Londra. Per diversi anni ha vissuto tra Milano, Londra e New York dove si è occupata di ricerca e sviluppo collezioni bimbo e bimba per la linea Brums di Preca Brummel, ricerca e sviluppo collezioni donna per il marchio Boudicca di Londra e per il brand Su-san Cianciolo di New York. Per quattro anni e' stata docente di progettazione collezioni, storia della moda e ricerca tendenze presso IED Istituto Europeo di Design di Milano e Torino. Nel 2007 ha fondato il marchio Maiden-Art, presentando collezioni di gioielli e accessori moda dal'anima italiana ma dallo spirito internazionale. Stilista, illustratrice, fotografa e video artista ha partecipato a diverse esposizioni e festival nazionali ed inter-nazionali tra cui: BJCEM Biennale dei Giovani Artisti dell’Europa e del Mediterraneo, Festival spagnolo di Arte digitale Artech Media, Salone Internazionale dei Giovani Artisti di Alessandria d’Egitto e “Trophes des Createurs de Mode” presso il Palazzo del Festival di Cannes (Francia), grazie alla sponsorizzazione di Movin’up – GAI Associazione Giovani Artisti Italiani. Nel 2011 Maristella Colombo e' stata nominata coordinatrice del Dipar-timento dei Giovani Stilisti di Assomoda e dal 2012 e' anche consulente e docente per la prestigiosa Accademia del Lusso, scuola di moda di Milano.

Maristella Colombo is an Italian Designer, who lives and works in Milan, where she graduated in Art Direction in Communica-tion & Visual Design at “The International College of Arts and Sciences”. In 2003 she moved first to New York City and the to London, where she got also a Master degree in Fashion De-sign at London Marangoni Fashion School, a diploma in Texti-le Design and in Fashion Business & Management at London College of Fashion. For several years she lived in Milan, London and New York, where she was involved in research and deve-lopment of collections for the Brums line of Preca Brummel, development of women's collections for the brand Boudicca in London and for the Susan Cianciolo brand in New York. For four years she was a professor and lecturer of fashion design, fashion history and trend research at IED Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and Turin. In 2007 she founded the brand Maiden-Art - fashion jewelry and accessories collection, made of Italian soul but with international spirit. Fashion designer, illustrator, artistic photographer and video artist, she presented her works in many exhibitions and international festivals like: BJCEM Biennial of Young Artist of Europe and Mediterranean, Artech Media Digital Art Festival in Spain, AWW International Youth Salon in Alessandria of Egypt and “Trophes des Crea-teurs de Mode” at Cannes Festival’s palace in France, thanks to the sponsorship of Movin’up – GAI Association for Young Artist. Maristella Colombo in 2011 and was nominated coordinator of the Department of the Young Designers of Assomoda and from 2012 also a consultant and lecturer for the prestigious Accade-mia del Lusso, fashion school in Milan.
