Per la sua nuova sede londinese, completata nel 2015, una nota azienda leader nei settori ener-gy, technology ed engineering, con circa tren-ta sedi nel mondo e più di 4000 addetti, sceglie Mayfair, esclusivo quartiere di Londra. Dalla suddivisione degli spazi all’arredo, Tecno, con il centro progetti interno, accosta all’architettura rigorosa tipica dei building del quartiere un con-cept di ambiente che riflette l’anima tecnologica dell’azienda. Concorrono alla realizzazione degli interni: la parete divisoria W80, di alta qualità estetica e prestazionale; il sistema operativo Beta, scelto per ridisegnare gli spazi degli uffici operativi; la famiglia di tavoli Nomos, collezione iconica di Norman Foster, per ambienti direzio-nali e meeting. Infine, le eleganti sedute Vela. Su richiesta dello stesso CEO dell’azienda cliente, in nome del bel design, sono stati scelti alcuni classici del design Tecno, firmati Osvaldo Bor-sani. “La nostra vera rivoluzione sta nel proporci come azienda di progetto più che di prodotto”. Lo dimostrano progetti tailor made come il rin-novato British Museum di Norman Foster, la torre Agbar by Jean Nouvel a Barcelona e il Par-lamento Europeo di Bruxelles, in cui Tecno è in grado di superare la rigidità strutturale di uno specifico prodotto, per andare incontro alle esi-genze del committente, azienda o progettista. www.tecnospa.comL.C.

Tecno furnishes the new headquarters in Mayfair, London, of a renowned multinational corporation, a leader in the energy sector.

For its new London headquarters, completed in 2015, a renowned company, leader in the energy, technology and engineering sector, with about thirty offices around the world and more than 4000 employees, chose the exclusive London district of Mayfair. From the partitioning of the spaces to the furniture, Tecno and its Design Centre merged the rigorous architecture typical of buildings in this district, with a concept of space that reflects the company’s technological spirit. For the construction of the interiors they used: the W80 partition wall, with superior aesthetic quality and performance; the Beta operative system, chosen to redesign the spaces of the operational offices; the Nomos collection of tables, the iconic collection by Norman Foster for executive and meeting spaces: and finally the elegant Vela chairs.The CEO of the client company specifically requested, in the name of good design, to select several classics from the Tecno design collection by Osvaldo Borsani. “Our real revolution lay in presenting ourselves as a design company rather than a product manufacturer”. And they show it in tailor-made projects such as the renovated British Museum by Norman

Foster, the Agbar tower by Jean Nouvel in Barcelona, and the European Parliament in Brussels, in which Tecno demonstrated its capacity to reach beyond the structural inflexibility of a specific product, to meet the requirements of the company or designer. www.tecnospa.com
