IMEAS011 —

imeas grinding cabins are state-of-the-art machines for their precision, strong frame and productivity. By means of “Wet Processing” with the use of mineral oil or emulsion it is possible to remove big quantities of material and to reach centesimal tolerance values. The belt tension and tracking systems were specifically developed to allow the transmission of great power even in condition of continuous and heavy work. The range of products includes both mobile table machines (vacuum or magnetic) and cabins for the processing of coils and “endless” belts, used in modern continuous presses for wood panels, food and pharmaceutical industries. The processing size up to 3200 mm width and12000 mm length allows covering every production need. imeas can also supply complete systems optimized for the filtering and recycling of oils and the collection of metal waste.

Potenza e precisione su ogni superficie

Le cabine di rettifica imeas rappresentano lo stato dell’arte per precisione, robustezza e produttività. Tramite un processo “ad umido”, in cui viene impiegato olio minerale od emulsione, è possibile asportare consistenti quantità di materiale, raggiungendo tolleranze centesimali. I sistemi di tensionamento e controllo del nastro abrasivo sono stati sviluppati appositamente per questo impiego e permettono la trasmissione di elevate potenze anche in condizioni di lavoro continuative e particolarmente gravose. La gamma di produzione comprende sia macchine a tavola mobile (vacuum o magnetica) sia cabine per la lavorazione di coil e nastri “endless”, impiegati sulle moderne presse in continuo nell’industria dei pannelli, alimentare e farmaceutica. Dimensioni lavorabili sino a 3.200 mm in larghezza e 12.000 mm in lunghezza permettono di coprire ogni esigenza produttiva. imeas è anche in grado di fornire sistemi completi ed ottimizzati per la filtrazione ed il riciclo degli oli ed il recupero degli scarti metallici.

The polishing of coils and sheets is one of the most widespread added-value operations offered by Service Centers today. For this application imeas has developed a family of modular machines, the “at”, whose features include high productivity, flexibility in configuration, and lowmaintenance costs. These machines are available for both dry and wet processing. atn (top surface) and atni (bottom surface) modules offer a virtually endless range of finishing effects in terms of brightness, length and depth of the cut, that are very easy to be achieved. athl modules, developed for the Asian market, are dedicted to the

“Hair-Line” finishing: parallel and very long lines, low roughness and high gloss.

La satinatura di coil o lamiere rappresenta oggi una delle operazioni a valore aggiunto maggiormente diffuse nei moderni Centri Servizi, per i quali imeas ha sviluppato una famiglia di macchine modulari, denominata “at”, i cui punti di forza sono costituiti dall’elevata produttività e flessibilità di configurazione, nonché dai ridotti costi operativi e di manutenzione. Disponibili sia per lavorazioni a secco che ad umido, i moduli atn (superiore) ed atni (inferiore) permettono di ottenere una gamma di finiture virtualmente infinita in termini di lucentezza, lunghezza e profondità del taglio, in modo semplice ed intuitivo. Sviluppati per il mercato asiatico, i moduli athl permettono di realizzare la finitura

“Hair-Line”, caratterizzata da linee parallele e molto lunghe, bassa rugosità ed elevata brillantezza.

Designed to obtain the so-called ScotchBriteTM finishing, atr machines are equipped with an advanced and patented high-frequency oscillation system that combines maximum production levels and surface quality. Thanks to the simple and easy abrasive-roll replacement system, the possibility to dress it directly inside the machine and the digital control of work parameters, it is possible to obtain surfaces with soft, bright and homogeneous appearance that are suitable for interior design, electrical appliances, food industry and all the fields that require a high level of hygiene and cleanness. As part of at family of modular machines, atr have a common and intuitive graphic interface and a reduced number of components making them very easy to use and characterized by low operational costs.

La semplicità e praticità di cambio dell’utensile, la possibilità di ravvivarlo direttamente in macchina, la completa gestione elettronica dei parametri di lavoro, danno luogo a finiture dall’aspetto morbido, brillante ed omogeneo, ideali per architetture d’interni, elettrodomestici, industria alimentare ed impieghi che richiedono un elevato grado di pulibilità ed igienicità. IMEAS17 —

imeas machines for directional finishing type “buffing” are developed to obtain surfaces with low roughness and medium-high reflection capacity. The final effect is reached through a sequence of cotton rolls having decreasing density and hardness coupled with a system for the distribution of cleaning compound. The polishing effect is also improved by the possibility to change independently the speed and oscillation of each single unit. According to the production needs imeas can study solutions for both sheets and coils.

Lucidatura direzionale—

Linearità e brillantezza

Le macchine imeas per lucidatura direzionale tipo “buffing” sono studiate per ottenere superfici con bassa rugosità e riflettività medio/alta. L’effetto finale è ottenuto utilizzando una sequenza di rulli in cotone a densità e durezza decrescente accoppiati ad un sistema di distribuzione della pasta di pulitura. L’effetto lucidante è ulteriormente migliorato dalla possibilità di variare in modo indipendente velocità ed oscillazione di ogni singola unità. In funzione della produttività richiesta, imeas è in grado di studiare sia soluzioni per lamiere che per linee coil.

IMEAS19 —

The “SuperMirror” process was studied to obtain surfaces with very low roughness and high reflection capacity, virtually impossible to be distinguished from a real mirror. The use of a special polishing compound combined with the orbital movement of polishing heads removes the micro-particles from the surface and deletes any sign of direction completely. According to the specific needs of the customer, imeas can supply both fixed table (pflock) machines and pass through (pmc) machines that are suitable both for sheets and coils. This solution allows to reach higher productivity levels. The reliability and long life of SuperMirror machines are guaranteed by a manufacturing process that uses first-class and stainless materials.

Il processo “SuperMirror” è stato messo a punto per ottenere superfici caratterizzate da una ridottissima rugosità e da un’elevata riflettività, virtualmente indistinguibili da uno specchio. L’uso di uno speciale liquido attivo (ingl.: polishing compound) combinato al movimento orbitale della testa di lucidatura rimuove le micro-particelle dalla superficie eliminando completamente qualsiasi traccia di direzionalità. A seconda delle specifiche esigenze del Cliente, imeas può fornire sia macchine a tavola fissa oppure con alimentazione pass-through, adatte sia a lamiere che a bobine, soluzione che permette di raggiungere produttività decisamente più elevate. L’affidabilità e la durata delle macchine SuperMirror sono garantite anche da una costruzione che impiega in modo estensivo materiali inossidabili e di primissima qualità.

The required high quality standards and the automation of modern produc-tion plants make it necessary to protect the processed surface in order to pass it to the final user in the best possible conditions. imeas “pl” machines for the protection of the surfaces grant the homogeneous application of many kinds of plastic films. The “pl” machines range from manual machines, very easy and economic to use, to automatic machines that are able to trim the plastic film with such a precision so that they are named “Zero Cut”, a feature that is highly appreciated in automatic handling systems! The pos-sibility to install up to 4 film reels and to protect both surfaces of the sheet makes these machines flexible and suitable for any production need.

Le soluzioni imeas “pl” per la protezione delle superfici garantiscono un’omogenea applicazione dei più svariati film plastici e spaziano da macchine manuali, di semplice ed economico utilizzo, a macchine automatiche in grado di rifilare il film plastico con precisione assoluta, tanto da meritarsi il nome di “Taglio Zero”, una caratteristica molto apprezzata dai sistemi di movimentazione automatica! La possibilità di installare fino ad un massimo di 4 alberi porta bobina e di proteggere entrambe le superfici della lamiera rendono queste macchine flessibili ed adatte ad ogni tipo di esigenza produttiva.

We feel that a simple machine no longer satisfies the need of demanding customers. Therefore we have enriched our offer with “turnkey” automation solutions that are technologically advanced, highly integrated and efficient with the warranty and experience that only imeas can provide. For the processing of sheets we can design both manual systems, ideal for small production lots and frequent changes of size, as well as automated systems for the movement of sheets up to 5.000 kg that can include loading, unloading and inspection stations. For those customers who need high production volumes imeas can offer coil to coil lines for the process of coils up to 36.000 kg, especially studied for finishing process. The technical solutions allow to match the specific needs of modern Service Centers in terms of minimal maintenance and high reliability. Every solution can obviously include auxiliary systems for the exhaust and treatment of dust, for the weighing and marking of the material.

Per il trattamento di lamiere, le soluzioni prevedono sia sistemi manuali, economici ed adatti a lotti di piccole dimensioni con frequenti cambi di formato, sia sistemi altamente automatizzati, adatti a lamiere fino a 5.000 kg di peso e configurabili con più stazioni di carico, scarico ed ispezione. Per i Clienti che necessitano di elevate capacità produttive, imeas propone linee coil per la lavorazione di bobine fino a 36.000 kg di peso, pensate specificatamente per applicazioni di finitura. Le soluzioni tecniche adottate permettono di rispondere alle specifiche esigenze dei centri servizi più moderni anche in termini di ridotta manutenzione ed affidabilità. Ogni soluzione può includere, naturalmente, anche sistemi ausiliari per la raccolta ed il trattamento di polveri, la pesatura e la marcatura del materiale.
