INDICE

I generatori della serie ECP3 sono auto-regolati, brushless a 2 e 4 poli.Hanno induttore rotante provvisto digabbia di smorzamento (generatori a 2poli) e indotto fisso a cave inclinate.Gli avvolgimenti sono a passo raccor-ciato per ridurre il contenuto armonico.I generatori sono costruiti in conformitàalle direttive 2006/42, 2006/95,2004/108 e relative modifiche, allenorme CEI 2-3, EN 60034-1, IEC 34-1,VDE 0530, BS4999 - 5000.Le prove per la verifica della compatibili-ta’ elettromagnetica sono state eseguitenelle condizioni prescritte dalle norme,con il neutro collegato a terra. Esecu-zioni in accordo ad altre specifiche pos-sono essere eseguite su richiesta delcliente.La struttura meccanica, sempre moltorobusta, consente un facile accesso aicollegamenti e permette di eseguire leverifiche nelle diverse parti altrettantofacilmente.La carcassa e’ realizzata in acciaio, gliscudi in alluminio pressofuso, l’albero inacciaio C45 con ventola calettata.Il grado di protezione e’ IP23 (a richiestae’ possibile realizzare un grado di prote-zione superiore).Gli isolamenti sono eseguiti in classe H,le impregnazioni con resine epossidicheper le parti rotanti e trattamenti sotto-vuoto per le parti di piu’ elevata ten-sione, quali gli statori (a richiesta tratta-menti speciali). Nel campo dei radiodisturbi, la produzione di serie soddisfala norma EN61000-6-3, EN61000-6-1.

MACHINEDESCRIPTION

ECP3 2 and 4 pole alternators are bru-shless, self regulating and incorporate arotating inductor with damper cage (2pole generators) and a fixed stator withskewed slots. The stator windings havea shortened pitch to reduce the harmo-nic content of the output waveform.The alternators are made in compliancewith the 2006/42, 2006/95, 2004/108directives and their amendments, andthe CEI 2-3, EN60034-1, IEC34-1,VDE0530, BS 4999-5000 regulations.Tests to verify the electromagnetic com-pability have been carried out in theforeseen conditions by the standardswith the neutral connected to the earth.On customer’s request alternators canbe manufactured according to differentspecifications.The robust mechanical construction gi-ves good access to the generator outputconnections, and allows the user to in-spect the various components withease. The casing is made of steel, theshields of cast iron, and the shaft of C45steel and it has a keyed fan.The mechanical protection level meetsstandard IP23 (upon request higher le-vels of protection can be supplied).Insulation materials meet class H requi-rements, and all rotating componentsare epossy resins impregnated, highervoltage parts, such as the stators, arevacuum-treated (special treatments areavailable on request).Radio interferencesuppression meets the requirements ofEN61000-6-3, EN61000-6-1 regulations.

Ausführun-gen, die anderen als den angegebenenSpezifikationen entsprechen sollen,können auf Kundenanfrage hergestelltwerden.Die mechanische, sehr widerstand-sfähige, robuste Struktur ermöglicht lei-chten Zugang zu den Verbindungen undAnschlüssen und erlaubt eine ebensoleichte Kontrolle der verschiedenenTeile. Das Gehäuse besteht aus Stahl,die (Schutz) schilde aus Gußeisen, dieWelle aus C45-Stahl mit aufgezogenemLüfterrad. Die Schutzklasse ist IP23 (aufAnfrage kann auch eine hohereSchutzklasse realisiert werden). DieIsolierungen entsprechen der Klasse H,die Imprägnierungen erfolgen mit Epo-xidharzen für die drehbaren Teile, bzw,durch Vakuumverfahren für die Teile,die erhöhter Spannung ausgesetzt sind,wie z.B. Ständer (auf Anfrage auch Son-derverfahren möglich). Bezüglich derFunkstörungen, entspricht die Produk-tionsserie der EN61000-6-3, EN61000-6-1. Normen.

Per questa ragione occorre attenersi scrupo-losamente alle istruzioni indicate in questomanuale.

E’ vietata qualsiasi riproduzione di questomanuale.

Per qualsiasi comunicazione con la Mecc Alteo con i centri di assistenza autorizzati, citaresempre il tipo e il codice del generatore.

VERIFICA ALLACONSEGNA

IDENTIFICAZIONEMACCHINA

Prima di qualsiasi intervento di pulizia, lubri-ficazione o manutenzione il motore primario acui e’ collegato il generatore non deve esserein funzione, ma fermo e isolato dalle sue fontidi energia.

Per fermare il generatore occorre seguirescrupolosamente la procedura di arresto delsistema di trascinamento; il generatore non e’previsto di Stop/Emergenza, ma si arrestaistantaneamente in relazione al sistema diarresto predisposto dall’installatore.

PRESCRIZIONI DISICUREZZA

Alla consegna del generatore controllare conla bolla di accompagnamento che non cisiano danni o parti mancanti; nel casoinformare immediatamente lo spedizionere,l’assicurazione, il rivenditore o la Mecc Alte.

The ECP3 alternators comply with the EECdirectives 2006/42, 2009/95, 2004/108 andtheir amendments; therefore they pose nodanger to the operator if they are installed,used and maintained according to the instruc-tions given by Mecc Alte and provided thesafety devices are kept in perfect working con-ditions.

Therefore a strict observance of these instruc-tions is required.

Any reproduction of this manual is forbidden.

INSPECTION ONDELIVERY

When the alternator is delivered, check thatunit conforms with the delivery note and en-sure that there are no damaged or defectiveparts; should there be any, please inform theforwarding agent, the insurance company, theseller or Mecc Alte immediately.

SAFETYREQUIREMENTSBefore any cleaning, lubrication or mainte-nance operation, ensure that the generator isstationary and disconnected from the powersupply.

When stopping the generator, ensure thecompliance with the procedures for stoppingthe prime mover.The generator, in fact, has no EmergencyStop, but is controlled by the device arrangedby the installer.

A la livraison de l’alternateur, contrôler avec lebon de livraison qu’il n’y a aucun dommage oupièces manquantes; si tel est le cas, informerimmédiatement l’expéditeur, l’assureur, le re-vendeur ou Mecc Alte.

PRESCRIPTIONSDE SECURITE

Avant une quelconque intervention de net-toyage, lubrification ou manutention, le moteuravec lequel est accouplé l’alternateur ne doitpas être en fonctionnement mais isolé de sessources d’énergie.

Pour coupé un alternateur, il faut suivre scru-puleusement la procédure d’arrêt du systèmed’entraînement, l’alternateur n’est pas pourvud’arrêt d’urgence, mais il s’arrête instantané-ment en fonction du système d’arrêt prévu parl’installateur.

Vor jedem Eingriff für Reinigung, Schmierungoder Wartung, muß der Hauptmotor, an dender Generator angeschlossen ist, außer Be-trieb gesetzt werden; er muß stillstehen undvon seinen Energiequellen isoliert werden.

Um dem Generator zu stoppen, ist es erforder-lich genauestens das Abstell-verfahren für dasZugsystem einzuhalten; der Generator ist nichtmit einem Sicherheits-abschalter (“NOTAUS”)versehen, sondern er stoppt unmittelbar inAbhängigkeit von dem Abschaltsystem, dasvom Hersteller vorgesehen ist.

A la entraga del generador, controlar junto conla factura que no existan defectos o piezasfaltantes; en caso contrario informar inmedia-tamente la empresa de transportes, la com-pañia de seguros, el revendedor o la MeccAlte.

Antes de cualquier tipo de operación delimpieza, lubrificación o mantenimiento, elmotor primario al cual está acoplado elgenerador no debe estar en funcionamiento,el mismo deberá estar inmóvil y aislado desus fuentes de energía.

Para detener el generador es necesarioseguir escrupolosamente los procedimientosde detención del sistema de arrastre; elgenerador no posee un Stop/Emergencia,pués el mismo se detiene instantaneamenteen función del sistema de stop preparado porel instalador.

Per la movimentazione dei generatori di-simballati usare sempre ed esclusivamente gliappositi golfari.Utilizzare funi di portata adeguata senza solle-vare il generatore troppo dal pavimento (max30 cm.)

Alla fine del periodo di vita della macchina,rivolgersi alle agenzie di smaltimento materialiferrosi e non disperderne parti nell’ambiente.

Gli addetti all’installazione, conduzione e ma-nutenzione del generatore devono essere tec-nici adeguatamente qualificati e che cono-scano le caratteristiche dei generatori.

Le persone addette alla movimentazione de-vono sempre indossare guanti da lavoro escarpe antinfortunistiche.Qualora il generatore o l’intero impianto debbaessere sollevato da terra, gli operatori devonousare un casco protettivo.

Il generatore va installato in un ambiente ae-rato. Se non c’e’ sufficiente aria oltre al malfunzionamento esiste pericolo di surriscal-damento. Sulla porta di ingresso del locale cideve essere un cartello indicante il divieto diaccesso alle persone non autorizzate.

Assicurarsi che il basamento del generatore edel motore primario sia calcolato per sop-portarne il peso e tutti gli eventuali sforzi dovutial funzionamento.

E’ responsabilità dell’installatore il corretto ac-coppiamento del generatore al motore, met-tendo in atto tutti quegli accorgimenti neces-sari per garantire il corretto funzionamento delgeneratore ed evitare anomale sollecitazioniche possono danneggiare il generatore (comevibrazioni, disallineamenti, strane sollecitazionietc ).

SAFETYREQUIREMENTSBefore installing the generator, arrangementsmust be made to earth the machine in com-pliance with any relevant electrical regula-tions.This is the reason why you must makesure that the grounding system is in goodconditions and in compliance with the regula-tions of the country where the generator willbe installed.

For handling the unpacked generators,always use the special eyebolts only; useropes having a suitable carriyng capacity anddo not lift the generator too much from thefloor (max 30 cm.).

When the machine is worn cut, contact thecompanies in charge of the disposal of fer-rous material and do not throw away its partsinto the environment.

The operators in charge of the installation,operation and maintenance of the generatorsmust be skilled technicians who know thecharacteristics of the generators.

Take sure that gen-set foundations and base-frame are suitable to bear the combined wei-ght of the alternators and prime mover.

The installer is responsible for the correct cou-pling of the generator to the engine and for theperformance of all precautions necessary toguarantee the correct operation of the gene-rator and avoid abnormal stress, which coulddamage the generator (such as vibrations,misalignment, strange noises or vibrations,etc.)

The machine was designed to guarantee thenominal power in environments with a maxi-mum temperature of 40° C, at altitudes lowerthan 1000 m asl (EN60034-1), unlessotherwise specified; for different operatingconditions, see the commercial catalogue(brochure).

L'alternateur doit être installé dans un endroitaéré. Si la quantité d'air n'est pas suffisante,outre un mauvais, fonctionnement, il existeaussi un risque de surchauffe.Sur la porte d'entrée du local il doit y avoir unécriteau indiquant "entrée interdite aux per-sonnes non autorisées".

S'assurer que le chassis, support de l'alterna-teur et du moteur, est dimensioné pour sup-porter la masse totale.

Für den Transport der nicht verpackten Gene-ratoren sind immer und ausschließlich die ent-sprechend geeigneten Transportösen zuverwenden. Es sind Seile mit geeigneterTragfähigkeit zu verwenden, ohne den Gene-rator zu sehr von der Bodenfläche anzuheben(max. 30 cm).

Am Ende der Lebendsdauer der Maschinenist sich an die Entsorgungsunternehmen fürEisenmaterialen zu wenden; Teile dürfen nichteinfach weggeworfen werden.

Das für installation, Bedienung und Wartungzuständige Personal muß aus entsprechendqualifizierten Technikern bestehen, die die Ei-genschaften des Generators genau kennen.

Die für den Transport zuständigen Personenhaben stets Arbeitshandschuhe undSchuhwerk gemäß den Unfallverhütungsvor-schriften zu tragen. Sofern der Generator oderdie gesamte Anlage vom Boden angehobenwerden müssen, haben die Arbeiter ein Schut-zelm zu verwenden.

Der Generator muß in einem belüfteten Rauminstalliert werden. Wenn ausreichende Belüf-tung nicht gegeben ist, besteht die Gefahrfehlerhaften Funktionierens und der Überhit-zung.An der Eintrittstür zu diesem Raum ist einSchild anzubringen, das den Eintritt für nichtautorisierte Personen untersagt.

Es ist sicherzustellen, daß der Untergrund fürden Generator und den Hauptmotor so bere-chnet ist, daß er das Gewicht tragen kann.

Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Installateursden Generator korrekt mit dem Motor zu ver-binden und alle notwendigen Maßnahmenumzusetzen, die den richtigen Betrieb des Ge-nerators garantieren und Belastungen vermei-den, die den Generator beschädigen könnten(wie Vibrationen, Abweichungen, sonderbareBeanspruchungen etc.).

Para mover los generadores desembalados,usar siempre y exclusivamente los corre-spondientes ganchos que poseen los mi-smos.Utilizar correas de resistencia adecuada sinnecesidad de elevar demasiado el genera-dor del pavimento (max 30 cm).

Al final del periodo de vida útil de la máquina,dirigirse a una agencia de reciclaje de mate-riales ferrosos, de manera de no perder par-tes en el ambiente.Las personas dedicadas a la instalación,transporte y mantenimiento del generadordeberán ser técnicos adecuadamente califi-cados y que conozcan las características delos generadores.Las personas dedicadas al transporte de-berán usar siempre guantes de trabajo yzapatos de seguridad. Siempre que el gene-rador o el equipo completo sea elevado delsuelo, los operadores deberán usar cascosde protección.

El generador debe ser instalado en un am-biente aireado.Si no hoy suficiente ventilación, además delmal funcionamiento existirá el peligro de so-brecalentamiento.A la puerta de ingreso del local se deberácolocar un cartel que prohiba el acceso a laspersonas no autorizadas.

Asegurarse que la base de apoyo del gene-rador y del motor primario sean calculadaspara soportar el peso total.

Es responsabilidad de instalador la correctaconexión entre el generador y el motor, me-diante el uso de todas las medidas de seguri-dad necesarias que garanticen el correctofuncionamiento del generaror y que evitensobrecargas que puedan dañarlo (x.e. vibra-ciones, desajustes, conexiones irregulares,etc...)

El mecanismo ha sido diseñado para garan-tizar la potencia nominal en ambientes conuna temperatura máxima de 40° C, y enaltitud inferior a 1000 metros (EN60034-1),salvo indicaciones distintas; para conocercondiciones diferentes de las indicadas, veael catálogo comercial (folleto).

I generatori sono rumorosi; anche se il livelloacustico è sicuramente inferiore a quello delmotore primario, devono essere installati inambienti isolati (stanza, sala macchine, etc.)e chi vi accede deve munirsi di cuffieantirumore.

I generatori sviluppano calore anche elevatoin funzione della potenza generata.Pertanto non toccare il generatore se noncon guanti antiscottatura e attendere, unavolta spento, che esso raggiunga latemperatura ambiente.

Anche se la macchina e’ protetta in tutte lesue parti evitare di sostare nelle suevicinanze.

Per nessuna ragione appoggiarsi o sedersisul generatore.

Non togliere per nessuna ragione le etichette,anzi richiederne la sostituzione in caso dinecessita’.

PERICOLO DI CORTO CIRCUITOIl generatore e’ costruito con grado diprotezione IP23; pertanto e’ fatto divieto dispruzzare o di mettere contenitori di liquidisopra le parti elettriche.

In caso di sostituzione di pezzi di ricambiorichiedere esclusivamente ricambi originali.

Per la sostituzione di parti usurate compor-tarsi rigorosamente come descritto al capi-tolo manutenzione; queste manutenzionidevono essere eseguite da tecniciadeguatamente qualificati.

La machine génère du bruit même si sonniveau est inférieur à celui du moteur, il doitêtre alors installé dans un local (isolé), et il estnécessaire pour les personnes d'être muniesde casque antibruit.

Les alternateurs produisent de l'énergie calori-fique directement proportionnelle à la puis-sance utilisée.Ainsi, ne pas toucher l'alternateur ou bienavec des gants appropriés, et attendre quecelui-ci, une fois arrêté soit de nouveau à latempérature ambiante.

La machine est protégée dans tout son envi-ronnement, éviter de rester dans son voisi-nage.

Pour aucune raison, il ne faut s'appuyer ous'asseoir sur l'alternateur.

Ne pas arracher non plus les étiquettes ouadhésifs, au contraire, les réclamer en cas denécessité.

DANGER DE COURT-CIRCUITL'alternateur est construit avec un grade deprotection IP23; il est formellement décon-seillé d'asperger ou de mettre tout récipientcontenant du liquide sur les parties électri-ques.

Die Generatoren sind laut; auch wenn derGeräuschpegel durchaus unterhalb dem Pe-gel des Hauptmotors liegt, müssen sie in iso-lierten Räumlichkeiten (Räume, Maschi-nenräume, usw.) aufgestellt werden.Personen, die diese Räume betreten, müssensich mit Kopfhöhrern vor dem Lärm schützen.

Die Generatoren entwickeln Wärme auch inerhöhtem Maße, jeweils in Abhängigkeit vonder erzeugten Leistung. Aus diesem Grundeist die Maschine nur mit Verbren-nungsschutzhandschuhen zu berühren.Ist die Maschine ausgeschaltet, ist abzuwar-ten, daß diese wieder Umgebungstemperaturannimmt.

Auch wenn die Maschine vollständig abgesi-chert ist, ist der Aufenthalt in ihrer Nähe zuvermeiden.

Aus keinem Grunde darf man sich an denGenerator lehnen oder sich auf ihn setzen.

Aus keinem Grunde sind die Etiketten zu ent-fernen, stattdessen ist bei Bedarf Ersatz anzu-fordern.

GEFAHR VON KURZSCHLÜSSENDer Generator ist mit einem Schutzgrad IP23Konstruiert; daher ist es verboten, die elektri-schen Teile zu bespritzen oder Behälter mitFlüssigkeiten auf diese zu stellen.

Müssen Teile ausgewechselt werden, sindausschließlich originale Ersatzteile anzufor-dern.

Beim Austausch von Verschleißteilen müssendie im Kapitel "Wartung" angegebenen Vor-schriften strengstens eingehalten werden;diese Wartungsarbeiten müssen von entspre-chend qualifizierten Technikern durchgeführtwerden.

Los generadores son ruidosos, y si bien sunivel acústico es seguramente inferior al mo-tor primario, los mismos deberán ser instala-dos en ambientes aislados (cabina, sala má-quimas, etc.) y las personas que accedendeberán llevar auriculares antiruido.

Los generadores producen calor, y el mismopuede ser elevado en función de la potenciagenerada, por lo tanto no tocar la máquina sino se posee quantes antiquemaduras, de-spués de un tiempo de haber detenido elgenerador, hasta que el mismo alcance latemperatura ambiente.

Si bien la máquina está protegida en todassus partes, evitar de pararse cerca de la mi-sma.

Por ninguna razón apoyarse o sentarse sobreel generador.

No quitar por ninguna razón las etiquetas, porel contrario, pedir la sustitución en caso denecesidad.

PELIGRO DE CORTO CIRCUITOEl generador está construido con grado deprotección IP23; por lo tanto se prohibe salpi-car o colocar recipientes con líquido sobre laspartes eléctricas.

En caso de sustitución de partes de repuesto,exigir exclusivamente repuestos originales.

Para la sustitución de partes usadas, compor-tarse rigurosamente como descripto en el ca-pítulo mantenimiento; estas operaciones de-berán ser realizadas por técnicos adecuada-mente calificados.

Una volta disimballato il generatore, (mono-supporto) non scollegare il sistema di fissag-gio rotore, in quanto quest’ultimo potrebbescivolare.

Per la movimentazione al fine dell’installa-zione, sollevare i generatori, sempre, attra-verso i propri golfari.

When lifting or moving goods by forklift appara-tus, care should be taken to ensure that forksare correctly positioned to prevent slipping orfalling of pallet or crate.

Both packed and unpacked alternators shallbe stored in a cool and dry room, and shallnever be exposed to the inclemency of theweather.

With regard to single bearing alternators (formMD35) please ensure that the rotor securingdevice is in place. Failure to do so may lead toslippage or assembly.

When installing the alternators, always lift themby using their eyebolts.

En fontion de la destination des alternateurs,ils peuvent être emballés pour l’expédition dedifférentes manières.

En cas de déplacement des caisses, il estnécessaire de contrôler sur le bordereau delivraison le poids et, avec du materiél adé-quate les soulever de terre le moins hautpossible.

Dans le cas où l’emballage devra être dé-placé avec des chariots élévateurs, il est né-cessaire que les sangles soient mantenues leplus large possible de façon à éviter des chu-tes ou des glissements.

En cas de stockage, les alternateurs embal-lés ou non, doivent être déposés dans unlocal frais et aéré et jamais exposés aux in-tempéries.

Une fois l’alternateur sorti de l’emballage,(monopalier) ne pas enlever le système defixation du rotor, car dans ce cas, ce dernierpourrait glisser.

Pour les manutentions à la fin de l’installation,soulever les alternateurs, toujours avec leurspropres anneaux de levage.

ATTENTION :

APRÈS DE LONGUES PÉRIODES DESTOCKAGE OU EN PRÉSENCE DESIGNES ÉVIDENTS D’HUMIDITÉ /CONDENSATION, VÉRIFIER L’ÉTATD’ISOLEMENT.

L’ESSAI D’ISOLEMENT DOIT ÊTREÉXECUTÉ PAR UN TECHNICIENQUALIFIÉ.

In jedem Fall sind für den Transport die Anga-ben des begleitenden Lieferscheins bezüglichGewicht zu beachten; der Generator soll mitgeeigneter Hilfsmittel so wenig wie möglichvom Boden hochgehoben werden.

Sollte die Verpackung mit dem Generator mitGabelstaplern bewegt werden müssen, ist eserforderilch, die Gabelstellung so weit wie mö-glich einzustellen, umdadurch zu verhindern,daß die Verpackung herunterfallen oder herun-terrutschen kann.

Die Lagerung von verpackten und unverpack-ten Generatoren muß in einem kühlen undtrockenen Raum erfolgen, der keinesfalls Wit-tarungseinflüssen ausgesetz ist.

Sobald der Generator (1 Lager Schild) ausseiner Verpackung entnommen ist, darf dieSicherungsvorrichtung für den Rotor nicht ent-ferntwerden, da dieser abrutschen könnte.

Zum Trasport der Generatoren für installa-tionszwecke, dürfen diese stets ausschließlichan ihren dafür vorgesehenen Ringschraubenaufgehängt werden.

En función del destino final, los alternadorespodrán ser embalados para su expedición envarios modos.

En todos los casos, para moverlos, observaren la factura, el peso y con los medios ade-cuados, elevarlos del piso lo menos posible.

En caso que el embalaje sea movido pormedio de un elevador, será necesario que lascuerdas del mismo ocupen todo la base de lacaja, para evitar caídas o deslizamientos.

En caso de depósito, los alternadores con osin embalaje, deberán ser puestos en un lu-gar fresco y seco o por lo menos nunca serexpuestos a la intemperie.

Una vez desembalado el generador,(Monosoporte) no quitar el sistema de fijacióndel rotor, pues de otra manera el mismo po-dría deslizarse y caer.

Para mover los generadores antes de suinstalación, elevarlos siempre por medio desus ganchos respectivos.

ATENCION :

DESPUES DE LARGOS PERIODOSDE DEPOSITO O EN PRESENCIA DEEVIDENTES SIGNOS DE HUMEDADO CONDENSACION, CONTROLAR ELESTADO DE AISLACION.

Ricordarsi che, una volta che il generatoresara’ accoppiato al motore primario, omontato su un basamento, o installato in untelaio in modo da formare un corpo unico, nondovra piu’ essere sollevato dai propri golfarima si dovranno seguire le indicazionidell’installatore.

Non disperdere l’imballo nell’ambiente, marivolgersi alle agenzie di smaltimento.

L’accouplement de l’alternateur au moteurd’entraînement est à la charge de l’utilisateurfinal et est exécuté selon sa propre méthode.

Les précautions requises sont :

DANS LA MISE EN SERVICE, S’ASSURERQUE LES OUVERTURES D’ASPIRATIONET L’EVACUATION DE L’AIR DE REFROI-DISSEMENT SOIENT TOUJOURS LIBRES.

LE CÔTÉ DE L’ASPIRATION NE DOIT PASÊTRE PRÈS D’UNE SOURCE DE CHA-LEUR. DANS CHAQUE CAS, S’IL N’Y A PASDE SPÉCIFICATION PARTICULIÈRE, LATEMPÉRATURE DE L’AIR DE REFROIDIS-SEMENT DOIT ÊTRE CELLE AMBIANTEET DE TOUTE FAÇON, NE DOIT PASÊTRE SUPÈRIEURE À 40°C.

DANS LE CAS DES ALTERNATEURSMONOPALIER EN PHASE D’ACCOU-PLEMENT AVEC LE MOTEUR D’EN-TRAÎNEMENT, FAIRE ATTENTIONQUE LE ROTOR N’AIT PAS GLISSÉSUR SON AXE. ÔTER LE SYSTÈMEDE FIXATION DU ROTOR.

DIE ANSAUGSEITE DARF SICH NICHTIN DER NÄHE VON WÄRMEQUELLENBEFINDEN. FALLS NICHT ANDERWEI-TIG VEREINBART, MUß DIE KÜHLLUFTRAUMTEMPERATURE AUFWEISENUND DARF DEN WERT VON 40°C NICHTÜBERSCHREITEN.

BEI EIN LAGER SCHILD GENERA-TOREN IST IN DER PHASE DES AN-SCHLUSSES AN DEN ANTRIEBSMO-TOR DARAUF ZU ACHTEN, DAß SICHDER ROTOR NICHT LÖST; EINE EVEN-TUELL VORHANDENE BEFESTIGUN-GSSICHERUNG DES ROTORS IST ZUENTFERNEN.

Sobald der Generator eineal an einen An-triebsmotor angeschlossen wird, bzw. auf ei-nem Unterbau montiert oder in einem Ra-hmen installiert wird, so daß ein einzigerBlock entsteht, darf er nicht mehr an denRingschrauben angehoben werden.Es sind die Vorschriften des Monteurs zubeachten.

Die Verpackung ist durch die entsprechenden Entsorgungsunternehmen zu entsor-gen.

Recordar que, una vez que el generador seráacoplado al motor primario, o montado en subase, o instalado en una estructura de ma-nera de formar un cuerpo único, no deberáser elevado por medio de sus ganchos, sinoque se deberán seguir las indicaciones delinstalador.

No dejar que el embalaje se pierda en elambiente, dirigirse siempre a cualquier agen-cia que trate el reciclaje de residuos.

El acoplamiento del generador al motor pri-mario es responsabilidad del usuario final, y elmismo será efectuado a propia discreción.

Los puntos de atención requeridos son :

EN LA PUESTA EN SERVICIO ASEGU-RARSE QUE LAS ABERTURAS DE ASPI-RACION Y DESCARGA DEL AIRE DE RE-FRIGERACION SE ENCUENTREN SIEM-PRE LIBRES DE OBSTACULOS.

EL LADO DE ASPIRACION NO DEBEESTAR CERCA A FUENTES DE CALOR.DE CUALQUIER MANERA, SI NO ES PRE-VIAMENTE CONVENIDO, LA TEMPERA-TURA DEL AIRE DE RIFREGERACIONDEBE SER AQUELLA DEL AMBIENTE, DETODOS MODOS, NO SUPERIOR A 40 °C.

EN CASO DE GENERADOR MO-NOSOPORTE EN FASE DE ACO-PLAMIENTO CON EL MOTOR PRI-MARIO, ASEGURARSE QUE ELROTOR NO SE DESLIZE; QUITAREL SISTEMA DE FIJACION DELMISMO.


Nel caso di accoppiamento di un gene-ratore serie ECP3 avente forma costrut-tiva B3/B9 seguire le seguenti istru-zioni:

-) montare il coperchio anteriore sulmotore fissandolo con le apposite viti eapplicando una coppia di serraggio di48±7% Nm se si impiegano viti M10 o21±7% Nm nel caso di viti M8 (figura 1)

-) bloccare l’alternatore sul coperchiofissando i quattro dadi M8 sui tiranti,applicando una coppia di serraggio paria 16 ±7% Nm (figura 2)

-) inserire il tirante centrale nella suasede ed avvitare il dado (figura 3)

-) bloccare il tirante centrale applicandouna coppia di serraggio pari a 21±7%Nm se si impiegano tiranti M8, mentre,se si impiegano tiranti M14, applicareuna coppia di serraggio pari a 120±7%Nm; rimontare le retine di protezionelaterali e la griglia di chiusura posterioreapplicando sulle viti M5 una coppia diserraggio pari a 3,5±7% Nm (figura 4).

When coupling with an ECP3 seriesgenerator having a B3/B9 form, followthe instructions below:

-) mount the front cover on the motor,fixing it with the appropriate screws andapplying a tightening torque of 48±7%Nm if using M10 screws or 21±7% Nmfor M8 screws (figure 1)

-) lock the alternator into the cover byfixing the four M8 nuts onto the bolts,applying a tightening torque of 16±7%Nm (figure 2)

-) insert the central bolt into its housingand screw the nut (figure 3)

-) block the central stay rod, applying atightening torque of 21±7% Nm if youare using stay rods of M8, while if youare using M14 stay rods, apply atightening torque of 120±7% Nm;reassemble the lateral protective netsand the rear closing grid by applying atightening torque of 3,5±7% Nm to theM5 screws (figure 4)





En cas de montage d’un générateursérie ECP3 ayant la forme constructiveB3/B9, suivre les instructions suivantes:

-) monter le couvercle avant sur lemoteur en le fixant avec les vis prévuesà cet effet et en appliquant un couple deserrage de 48±7% Nm si on utilise desvis M10 ou de 21±7% Nm en cas de visM8 (figure 1)

-) bloquer le tirant central en appliquant uncouple de serrage égal à 21±7% Nm si onutilise des tirants M8, alors que si on emploiedes tirants M14, il faut appliquer un couple deserrage égal à 120±7% Nm; remonter lesgrilles de protection laterales et la grille defermeture arrière en appliquant aux vis M5 uncouple de serrage de 3,5±7% Nm (figure 4).

-) Die mittlere Zugstange in ihrem Sitzeinstecken und die Schraubmutterschrauben (Abbildung 3)

-) die zentralen Stellschraube mit einemDrehmoment von 21±7% Nm blockieren,sollten M8 Schrauben verwendet werden,während bei der Verwendung von M14 diesemit einem Drehmoment von 120±7% Nmanziehen; die seitlichen Schutznetze sowiedas hintere Abschlußrost wieder aufsetzenund hierfür ein Anzugsmoment von 3,5±7%Nm auf die Schrauben M5 aufbringen(Abbildung 4).

En el caso de acoplamiento de un ge-nerador serie ECP3 con forma con-structiva B3/B9, siga las instruccionessiguientes :

-) introducir el tirante central en su lugary enroscar la tuerca (fig. 3)

-) bloquear el tirante central aplicando unapareja de cierre igual a 21±7% Nm si seemplean tirantes M8, mientras, si se empleantirantes M14, aplicar una pareja de cierre iguala 120±7% Nm; vuelva a montar las redecillasde protección laterales y la rejilla de cierreposterior, aplicando a los tornillos M5 un parde torque de 3,5±7% Nm (fig. 4).


Un allineamento impreciso può causarevibrazioni e danneggiamenti dei cusci-netti. E’ consigliabile inoltre verificare lacompatibilità delle caratteristiche torsio-nali del generatore e del motore (a curadel cliente). I dati sul generatore neces-sari per tale verifica sono disponibilinella relativa documentazione.

Nel caso di accoppiamento di un gene-ratore serie ECP3 avente forma costrut-tiva MD35 seguire le seguenti istruzioni:

-) verificare il corretto posizionamentodei dischi (quota “L”) in funzione del tipodi accoppiamento considerato (tavola 2pag. 38); se necessario ripristinare laquota “L” spostando leggermente e as-sialmente il rotore. In posizione correttail cuscinetto posteriore deve avere ungioco assiale da 0,5 a 2 mm.

-) avvicinare l’alternatore al motore diaccoppiamento

-) allineare uno dei fori di fissaggio deidischi del volano con il foro dei dischiprecedentemente posizionato

-) inserire ed avvitare parzialmente larelativa vite che blocca i dischi al vo-lano. Ruotare il volano affinchè altri duefori si ripresentino nella stessa posi-zione ed avvitare parzialmente la rela-tiva vite. Ripetere detta operazione pertutti gli altri fori

-) dopo aver verificato il corretto cen-traggio dei dischi nel volano motore,bloccare definitivamente dette viti

-) montare le due retine laterali di prote-zione, fornite a corredo del generatore.

Solamente dopo che il generatore e’stato ben fissato meccanicamente pro-cedere all’accoppiamento elettrico.


MECHANICALCOUPLING

A bad alignment may cause vibrationsand bearing damages. It is advisable toverify the compatibility of the generatortorsional characteristics and the engine(by the customer). The necessary datafor this verification are available on theconcerning documentation.

When coupling with an ECP3 seriesgenerator having a MD35 form, followthe instructions below:

-) according to the type of the coupling,verify the correct placement of the discs(dimension “L”) (table 2 pag. 38); ifnecessary restore the “L” dimensionmoving gently and axially the rotor. Inthe right position the clearance of rearbearing should be from 0.5 to 2 mm.

-) move the generator close to the cou-pling engine

-) align one of the flywheel disk faste-ning holes with the holes of the previou-sly positioned disks

-) Insert and partially tighten the screwsthat lock the disks to the flywheel. Turnthe flywheel until another two holes arein the same position and partially ti-ghten the screw. Repeat this operationfor all the other holes

-) after inspecting the correct centring ofthe disks on the engine flywheel, thescrews must be completely tightened

-) fix the two lateral protection gridssupplied with the generator.

Only after a correct mechanical cou-pling, proceed with the electrical con-nections.

Un alignement non précis peut engendrer desvibrations et dommages sur les roulements. Ilest en outre conseillé de vérifier la compatibi-lité des caractéristiques torsionnelles de l'alter-nateur et du moteur (à charge du client). Lesdonnées nécessaires pour cette vérificationsur l’alternateur sont disponibles dans la do-cumentation.

En cas de montage d’un générateursérie ECP3 ayant la forme constructiveMD35, suivre les instructions suivantes:

-) vérifier le positionnement correct desdisques (dimension “L”) en fonction dutype d'accouplement considéré (tableau2 pag. 38); si besoin remettre la cote “L”en poussant légèrement et axialementle rotor. En position correcte, le roule-ment arrière doit avoir un jeu axial de0.5 à 2 mm.

-) aligner un des trous de fixation desdisques du volant avec le trou des di-sques placé précédemment

-) Insérer et visser partiellement la viscorrespondante qui bloque les disquesau volant; afin que les autres trous seprésentent à nouveau dans la mêmeposition et visser partiellement la viscorrespondante. Répéter cette opéra-tion pour tous les autres trous

-) après avoir vérifié que le centragedes disques au volant de moteur estcorrect, bloquer définitivement les su-sdites vis

-) monter les deux grilles latérales deprotection fournies avec le générateur.

Seulement après que l’alternateur soitbien fixé mécaniquement, procéder auraccordement électrique.

-) Überprüfen Sie die ordnungsgemäße Posi-tion der Scheiben (abmessung “L”) je nachgewünschter Kupplung (Tabelle 2, Seite 38);Falls erforderlich, können Sie das Maß "L"durch leichtes axiales Verschieben des Ro-tors wieder herstellen. In der korrekten Posi-tion muss das axiale Spiel des hinteren La-gers zwischen 0,5 und 2,0 mm liegen.

-) Den Wechselstromgenerator demKoppelungsmotor annähern

-) Eines der zwei Befestigungslöcherder Schwungradscheiben mit demvorher eingestellten Scheibenloch an-gleichen

-) Die entsprechende Schraube, die dieScheiben an dem Schwungradblockiert, ist einzuführen und teilweisefestzuschrauben. Das Schwungrad zumrotieren zu bringen, bis sich zwei wei-tere Löcher in gleicher Stellung befin-den. Hierbei ist die entsprechendeSchraube teilweise festzuschrauben.Für die restlichen Löcher ist dieser Vor-gang zu wiederholen

-) Nach Feststellung der korrekten Zen-trierung der Scheiben in das Motor-Schwungrad, sind die genanntenSchrauben definitiv festzuziehen

-) Montage der zwei seitlichen Schutz-netze, die mit dem Generator mitgelie-fert sind.

Erst wenn der Generator mechanischrichtig befestigt ist, kann mit dem elek-trischen Anschluß fortgefahren werden.

-) inserir y atornillar parcialmente el re-spectivo tornillo que bloquea los discos alvolante. Dar la vuelta al volante para quelos otros dos agujeros se pongan otra vezen la misma posición y atornillar parcial-mente el respectivo tornillo. Repetir laoperación para todos los otros agujeros

-) después de haber verificado el correctocentraje de los discos en el volante motor,bloquear definitivamente dichos tornillos

-) montar las dos redes laterales de pro-tección, suministradas junto con el gene-rador.

Solo después que el generador haya sidoconvenientemente fijado mecánicamente,efectuar la conexión eléctrica.

Collegamento avvolgimenti(tav. 3 pag. 39)Sono previsti entrambi i collegamenti, stellacon neutro (Y) e triangolo (∆) in tutti gli alterna-tori.Per passare da un collegamento Y a ∆ (es.da400V a 230V) e’ sufficiente spostare i pontisulla morsettiera principale (vedere schematav. 3 pag. 39). Nessun intervento e’ richiesto,sul regolatore di tensione.I generatori sono costruiti di serie con 12 cavidi uscita per consentire di ottenere tensionidiverse (es. 115 / 200 / 230 / 400V ).I generatori, vanno sempre collegati a terracon un conduttore di adeguata sezione utiliz-zando uno dei due (interno/esterno) appositimorsetti.Dopo aver eseguito il collegamento, rimontareil coperchio scatola morsetti.

NOTA: variazioni di frequenza.La macchina fornita per funzionare a 50Hzpuo’ funzionare anche a 60Hz (o viceversa); e’sufficiente tarare il potenziometro al nuovo va-lore nominale di tensione.Passando da 50Hz a 60Hz, la potenza puo’aumentare del 20% (corrente invariata), se latensione aumenta del 20%; se la tensionerimane invariata la potenza, puo’ aumentaredel 5% per effetto della migliore ventilazione.Per generatori costruiti appositamente per unafrequenza di 60Hz nel passaggio a 50Hz, latensione e la potenza devono necessaria-mente diminuire del 20% rispetto a quelle rife-rite a 60Hz.

REGOLATORE DI TENSIONE(tav. 4 pag. 39)L’autoregolazione ottenuta tramite il regolatoreelettronico tipo DSR garantisce in condizionistatiche una precisione della tensione del ±1% con qualsiasi fattore di potenza e convariazione di velocita’ compresa fra -10% e +20%.

Windings connection(table. 3 pag. 39)All alternators feature both star with neutral(Y)and delta (∆) connections.To reconnect from a star to delta connection(for ex. from 400V to 230V), modify the linkingarrangements on the output terminal board(see diagram on table 3 page 39).It is not necessary to adjust the voltage regula-tor.Standard alternators are equipped with 12 ca-bles to offer different voltages (for example115 / 200 / 230 / 400).The alterrnator must always be earthed bysufficiently rated cable, using one of the insideor outside terminals. After completing outputconnections, ensure that the terminal box co-ver is securely in place.

NOTE : frequency variations.A standard production machine wound for 50Hz can also function at 60 Hz (and vice versa)by resetting the A.V.R. voltage potenziometerto the new nominal voltage value.When changing from 50 to 60 Hz the alterna-tor power, and nominal voltage will increase by20%, but the current does not change from 50Hz value. Should voltage stay at 50 Hz nomi-nal value, then the output power may be incre-ased by 5% due to improved ventilation.For machines wound for 60 Hz, changing to50 Hz, the voltage and power values have todecrease by 20% of 60 Hz values.

ANMERKUNG: Frequenzänderungen.Ein für 50 Hz vorgesehener Generator kanndurch entsprechende Drehzahländerungauch mit 60 Hz betrieben werden (oder um-gekehrt).Dazu ist lediglich am Sollwertpotentiometerdie mit der geänderten Drehhzahl ebenfallssich ändernde Spannung wieder auf die Nen-nspannung einzustellen.Beim Übergang von 50 auf 60 Hz darf dieabgenommene Leistung um 20% erhöhtwerden.Beim Übergang von 60 auf 50 Hz muussenumgekehrt sowohl die Leistung als auch dieSpannung wieder entsprechend reduziertwerden.

SPANNUNGREGLER(Abb. 4 Seite 39)Die Selbstregelung durch den elek-tronischen Regler, Typ DSR, gewährleistetunter statischen Bedingungen eine Ge-nauigkeit der Spannungseinstellung von ±1%, mit jedem Leistungsfaktor und mit einerDrehzahländerung zwischen -10% und+20%.

ATTENTION :Die Spannungskontrolle wird im Leerlauf beiNennfrequenz durchgeführt.Das Spannungspotentiometer der elektroni-schen Regler erlaubt die Spannungseinstel-lung. Diese Einstellung muß innerhalb ± 5%begrenzt sein.Es ist ferner möglich, die geforderte Span-nung mit einer Abweichung von ± 5% überFernbedienung zu erziehen, und zwar durchAnschluß eines 10 KΩ Potentiometers an dieentsprechenden Klemmen. NOTA: variación de frecuencia.La máquina suministrada para funciona-miento a 50 Hz puede también funcionar a 60Hz o viceversa. Protezione bassa velocita’:Il suo intervento e’ istantaneo e provoca lariduzione della tensione di macchina quandola frequenza scende al di sotto del 10% diquella nominale.La soglia di intervento si regola agendo sulpotenziometro “Hz”.

Protezione di sovraccarico:Un opportuno circuito compara la tensioneparzializzata di eccitazione.Se per piu’ di 20 secondi viene superato ilvalore prestabilito per tale tensione (valore acui corrisponde un valore di corrente di caricouguale a 1,1 volte la corrente di targa dell’al-ternatore), il regolatore interviene abbas-sando la tensione di macchina con conse-guente limitazione della corrente entro valoridi sicurezza.Il ritardo e’ appositamente inserito per permet-tere lo spunto dei motori che normalmente siavviano in 5÷10 secondi.Anche questa soglia di intervento e’ regolabileagendo sul potenziometro “AMP”.

CAUSE CHE PROVOCANOL’INTERVENTO DELLE PROTEZIONI.

Intervento istantaneo protezionebassa velocita’:1 - velocita’ ridotta del 10% rispetto ai dati di targa.Intervento ritardato protezione so-vraccarico :2 - sovraccarico del 10% rispetto ai dati di targa.3 - fattore di potenza (cos ϕ) inferiore ai dati di targa.4 - temperatura ambiente oltre i 50°C.

Intervento di entrambe le protezioni :5 - combinazione del fattore 1 con i fattori 2, 3, 4.

Nel caso di intervento delle protezioni, la ten-sione erogata dall’alternatore scendera’ finoad un valore che dipendera’ dall’entita’ dell’a-nomalia.La tensione tornera’ automaticamente al suovalore nominale qualora venga a cessarel’inconveniente.

Dopo aver eseguito tutti i collegamentielettrici e solo dopo aver chiuso tuttele protezioni e’ possibile effettuare laprova di primo avviamento del sistema.

ELECTRICALCONNECTIONSPROTECTIONSThe DSR electronic regulator is equippedwith a low speed safety device as well as anoverload safety device to prevent irregularand dangerous operation of the alternator.

Low speed safety device:It is activated immediately to reduce the ma-chine voltage when the frequency decreasesto less than 10% of the rated value.The activation level can be regulated usingthe “Hz” potentiometer.

Overload safety device:A special circuit is used to compare the partialexcitation voltage.If, for a period longer than 20 seconds, thisvoltage is higher than the pre-set value(which corresponds to a charging currentequal to 1,1 times the current indicated on thealternator data plate), the regulator is activa-ted and lowers the machine voltage, therebylimiting the current to a safe amount.The time delay is specifically set to give themotors time to pickup, as they usually requireabout 5÷10 seconds to start.This activation level can be regulated usingthe “AMP” potentiometer.

INTERVENTION OF PROTECTIONDEVICES CAUSES.

Underspeed protection instantane-ous intervention :1 - speed reduced by 10% of nominal RPM

Delayed intervention of overloadprotection :2 - overload by 10% of nominal rating.3 - power factor (cos ϕ) lower than the nominal-one.4 - ambient temperature above 50°C.

Intervention of both protections :5 - combination of factor 1 with factors 2, 3, 4.

In case of intervention the output voltage willdrop down to a value which will depend onthe fault.The voltage will return automatically to itsnominal value as soon as the fault is remo-ved.

After all the electric connections havebeen made and only after all the pro-tections have been put in place, canthe system be started.

Protection de surcharge :Un circuit spécial compare la tension partiali-sée d’excitation.Si pendant plus de 20 secondes la valeurpréfixée pour cette tension (valeur à laquellecorrespond une valeur de courant de chargeégale à 1,1 fois le courant de plaque de l’alter-nateur) est dépassée, le régulateur intervienten baissant la tension de la machine, aveclimitation consécutive du courant dans desvaleurs de sécurité.Le retard est spécialement inséré pour per-mettre le démarrage des moteurs, qui norma-lement démarrent en 5÷10 secondes.On peut régler également ce seuil d’interven-tion en agissant sur le potentiomètre “AMP”.

CAUSES QUI PROVOQUENTL’INTERVENTION DES PROTECTIONS.

Dans ce cas la tension de la machine dimi-nuera jusqu’à une valeur qui dépendra del’entité de l’anomalie.La tension reviendra automatiquement à savaleur nominale lorsque cessera la cause duproblème.

Aprés avoir exécuté tous les raccorde-ments électriques et seulement aprèsavoir contrôlé le fonctionnement detoutes les protections, il est possibled’effectuer l’essai de la première miseen marche du système.

Wenn der fürdiese Spannung festgelegte Wert für eineDauer von mehr als 20 Sekunden überschrit-ten wird (diesem Wert entspricht ein Lade-strom, der dem 1,1-fachem des auf dem Ty-penschild des Generators angegebenenStroms gleich ist), spricht der Regler an undreduziert die Generatorspannung, wobei derErregerstrom auf einen sicheren Wert be-grenzt wird.Die Verzögerung gestattet es, den kurzfristigerforderlichen erhöhten Anlaufstrombedarfvon Motoren, die normalerweise innerhalb5÷10 Sekunden anlaufen, zu decken. Auchdieser Ansprechwert ist auf dem Potentiome-ter "AMP" einstellbar.

Sofen Unterdrehzahl und eine oder mehrereUrsachen für das Ansprechen des Überlast-schutzes auftreten, wird die Erregerspan-nung auf einen Wert zurückgeregelt, der vomAusmaß der Fehlerursachen abhängt. So-bald die Störung beseitigt ist, kehrt die Span-nung auf den Nennwert zurück.

Nachdem alle elektrischen Anschlüsseansgeführt und nur nachdem alleSchutzvorrichtungen geschlossenwurden, ist es möglich, die Prüfungeines ersten Systemstarts dur-chzuführen.

Protección contra la baja velocidad:Su actuación es instantánea y produce lareducción de la tensión de máquina cuandola frecuencia llega por debajo del 10% de lanominal.El límite de actuación se ajusta actuandosobre el potenciómetro “Hz”.

Protección contra la sobrecarga:Un circuito oportuno compara la tensión exci-tadora seccionada.Si durante más de 20 segundos se supera elvalor prefijado para dicha tensión (valor alque le corresponde un valor de corriente decarga igual a 1,1 veces la corriente anódicadel alternador), el regulador actúa bajando latensión de máquina, así limitando la corrientedentro de los valores de seguridad.El retardo está inserido especificadamentepara permitir el arranque de los motores quegeneralmente tardan 5÷10 segundos paraponerse en marcha.También este umbral de intervención sepuede ajustar actuando sobre el potencióme-tro “AMP”.

CAUSAS QUE PRODUCEN LA INTER-VENCION DE LAS PROTECCIONES.

Intervención instantanea, protec-ción baja velocidad :1 - velocidad reducida del 10% con relación a los datos de tarjeta.Intervento retardado, protección desobrecarga :2 - sobrecarga del 10% respecto a los datos de tarjeta.3 - factor de potencia (cos ϕ) inferior a los datos de tarjeta.4 - temperatura ambiente superior 50 °C.

Intervención de ambas protecciones :5 - combinación del factor 1 con los factores 2, 3, 4.

En el caso de intervención, la tensión sumini-strada por el alternador descenderá hasta unvalor que dependerá de la entidad del pro-blema.La tension volverá automáticamente a suvalor nominal en el momento cese el incon-veniente.

Después de haber realizado todas lasconexiones eléctricas y “solo de-spués de haber cerrado todas lasprotecciones” es posible efectuar elprimer arranque del sistema.

STARTING ANDSTOPPING OPERATIONS

All the instrumentation for starting, running andstopping the system shall be provided by theinstaller.

THE STARTING, RUNNING ANDSTOPPING OPERATIONS MUST BECARRIED OUT BY SKILLED PER-SONNEL WHO HAVE READ AND UN-DERSTOOD THE SAFETY INSTRUC-TIONS AT THE BEGINNING OF THISMANUAL.

PLEASE NOTE :When the system is set to work for the firsttime, which has to be done at a reducedspeed, the operator shall check that no ano-malous noises can be detected.If an anomalous noise is detected, stop thesystem immediately and improve the mecha-nical coupling.

CLEANING ANDLUBRICATIONPrior to approaching or touching the alternator,ensure that it is not live and it is at roomtemperature; at this stage it is possible toclean it on the outside using compressed air.

NEVER USE LIQUIDS OR WATER.

DO NOT CLEAN THE INSIDE ELEC-TRIC COMPONENTS WITH COM-PRESSED AIR, BECAUSE THIS MAYCAUSE SHORT-CIRCUITS OR OTHERANOMALIES.

For the alternator Series ECP3 it is not neces-sary the lubrification for all the period of functio-ning (30.000 h).

MANUTENTION

In order to disassemble the alternator seriesECP3, follow the following instructions:

Remove the rear panel.

ACHTUNG:Während der ersten Inbetriebnahme, die mitreduzierter Geschwindigkeit erfolgen muß, hatder Monteur zu überprüfen, ob Anomalien inder Geräuschentwicklung auftreten. Im Fallevon Anomalien in der Geräuschentwicklung,ist dafür zu sorgen, daß die Anlage unverzü-glich gestoppt wird. Die mechanischen An-schlüsse müssen in diesem Falle verbessertwerden.

Bevor Sie sich dem Generator nähern, istsicherzustellen, daß dieser nicht mehrstromführend ist und sich auf Raum-temperatur abgekühlt hat; zu diesem Zeit-punkt ist es möglich, den Generator vonaußen mit Preßluft zu reinigen.

NIEMALS FLÜSSIGREINIGER ODERWASSER VERWENDEN.

ATENCION:Durante el primer arranque, que deberá efec-tuarse a baja velocidad, el instalador deberácontrolar que no se presenten rumores anor-males.En caso de rumores anormales, detener in-mediatamente el sistema e intervenir paramejorar el acoplamiento mecánico.

Beating with an appropriate rubber-hammeron the shaft, opposite coupling side.

EXTRACT THE ROTOR USING A HOI-STING MECHANISM WITH SOFT ROPESOF SUFFICIENT STRENGTH. SLOWLYAND CAREFULLY EXTRACT THE ROTORAND PLACE IT IN THE WORK AREAWHICH HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY PREPA-RED.

To replace the bearing/s, use a puller of thetype shown in the figure.

To reassemble the bearing, heat it with a spe-cial magnetic device of the type shown in thefigure.

Wear special anti-scorch gloves, reassemblethe bearing/s.



Demonter le flasque avant en defaisant les 4ecrous de serrage.

Taper avec un maillet en bois ou caoutchoucdur sur l’arbre du cote oppose o a l’accouple-ment.

Beim Wiedereinbau des/der Lagers/Lagersind zweckmäßige Schutzhandschuhe zu tra-gen.

Para la sustitución eventual del/de los cojine-tes/s utilizar un extractor, del tipo representadoen la figura.

Para volver a montar el cojinete, calentar esteúltimo por medio de un dispositivo magnéticoadecuado, del tipo representado en la figura.

Llevando puestos los específicos guantes an-tiquemaduras, volver a montar el/los cojinete/s.


Nel caso di sostituzione dello statore eccita-trice, attenersi alle seguenti istruzioni.

Dissaldare i 2 cavi di collegamento al rotoreprincipale.

Inserire un adeguato estrattore, facilmente co-struibile o reperibile presso la nostra sede,come illustrato in figura.Tale estrattore consente di togliere l’eccita-trice con molta rapidita’.

Prima di rimontare l’eccitatrice, pulire bene lasede dell’albero e cospargere con un leggerostrato “Permabond AO22” della Angst-Pfistero equivalenti, tale sede.

Rimontare seguendo a ritroso le operazioni finqui descritte, facendo attenzione che i cavi dicollegamento diodi siano rivolti verso l’esterno.

Utilizzando un attrezzo simile a quello rappre-sentato in figura, rimontare l’eccitatrice.

MANUTENTION

When replacing the exciter stator, follow theinstructions below.

Unsolder the two cable of connection of themain rotor.

Insert a suitable puller, that can be easilymade or supplied by our company, as shownin the picture.This puller will enable to take out the excitervery easily.

Before replacing the exciter, clean the shaftseat thotoughly and cover it with a thin layer of“Permabond A022” of Angst-Pfister or asimilar product.

Reassemble the exciter following the above-described steps inversely, carefully check thatthe diode connecting cables are turned towardthe outside.

Using a tool similar to the one shown in thefigure, reassemble the exciter.



En cas de remplacement du stator excita-teur, suivre les instructions suivantes:

Defaire les 2 cables de liaison au rotor princi-pal.

Insérer un extracteur adéquat, facilementconstructible comme illustré sur la figure enréférence. Un tel extracteur permet d’ôterl’excitatrice avec beaucoup de rapidité.

Avant de remonter l’excitatrice, bien nettoyerle siège de l’arbre et passer une couchelégère de “Permabond A022 de l’Angst-Pfister ou équivalent.”

Remonter en suivant à rebours les opéra-tions décrites jusqu’ici, en faisant attention àce que les fils de liaison des diodes soientdirigés vers l’extérieur.

En utilisant un outil semblable à celui repré-senté sur la figure, remonter l’excitatrice.

Bei einem eventuellen Austausch des Erre-gerstators müssen folgende Anleitungen be-folgt werden:

Vor dem Wiedereinbau des Erregers, ist derSitz der Welle sorgfältig zu reinigen und miteiner dünnen Schicht “Permabond A022” vonAngst-Pfister oder einem ähnlichem Produkt,zu bestreuen.

Den Wiedereinbau in umgekehrter Reihen-folge durchführen, wobei darauf zu achten ist,daß die Dioden-Anschlußkabel nach außengerichtet sind.

Unter Verwendung eines ähnlichen wie in derAbbildung dargestellten Werkzeuges ist derErreger wieder zu montieren.

En caso de sustituciòn del estator de la excita-triz, cùmplanse las instrucciones siguientes:

Desalder los huecos de connexiòn al rotorprincipal.

Introducir un adecuado extractor, fácil de fabri-car o disponible a través de nuestra sede,como se muestra en la figura.Dicho extractor permite de quitar la excitatrizcon mucha rapidez.

Antes de montar nuevamente la excitatriz,limpiar adecuatamente la parte del eje en que-stión y pasar suavemente una tela esmeril“Permabond A022” de marca Angst-Pfister oequivalente sobre el mismo.

Volver a montarlo todo ejecutando al revés lasoperaciones que se acaban de detallar, cui-dando que los cables de conexión de losdiodos estén hacia fuera.

Utilizando una herramienta similar a la queestá representada en la figura, volver a mon-tar la excitatriz.

• Fix the cable connected to the lampto the negative terminal of the bridge,as it is pointed out in the picture A(table 7 page 41)

• Connect the terminal “Probe” to thepoint A1 (it is checked the diode 1),then to the point A2 (it is checked thediode 2) and finally to the point A3 (itis checked the diode 3); check thereadings on the voltmeter in relationwith what is reported on the table(table 7 page 41).

TEST OF THE DIODES ON THE“POSITIVE”• Connect the equipment, as it is poin-

• Fix the cable connected to the nega-tive terminal of the battery to thepositive terminal of the bridge, as it ispointed out in the picture B (table 7page 41)

• Connect the terminal “Probe” to thepoint A4 (it is checked the diode 4),then to the point A5 (it is checked thediode 5) and finally to the point A6 (itis checked the diode 6); check thereadings on the voltmeter in relationwith what is reported on the table(table 7 page 41).

INSTRUCTIONS TO REPLACETHE DIODEWhen the values measured point out adiode damaged, it is necessary to re-place the component.For this purpose it is recommended tonot pull the rheophores out from theirlocations, but to cut them near to thebody of the component; then fit in thenew component respecting the polarityand soft-solder accurately the rheopho-res with the pieces remained in theirlocations.

Procedure pour controler les diodesdu stator d’excitatrice.

Equipment necessaire :• Batterie 12 Volts• Lampe 12V–21W (ou bien

Résistance 6.8Ω-30W)• Voltmètre (Exemple multimètre sur

échelle VOLT d.c.)

Important : Avant d’effectuer lesopérations suivantes, déconnecterles 2 câbles de connexion du rotorprincipal au pont de diodes (+ et -).

TEST DES DIODES SUR LE“ NEGATIF ”• Connecter les instruments comme

indiqué en figure A (tableau 7 pag.41).

• Faire toucher le câble relié à lalampe à la borne négative du pontcomme indiqué en figure A (tableau7 pag. 41).

• Connecter la borne “ PROBE ” aupoint A1 (cela contrôle la diode 1)ensuite au point A2 (cela contrôle ladiode 2) et enfin au point A3 (celacontrôle la diode 3); contrôler leslectures sur le voltmètre par rapportà ce qui est indiqué sur le tableau(tableau 7 pag. 41).

• Connecter la borne “ PROBE ” aupoint A4 (cela contrôle la diode 4)ensuite au point A5 (cela contrôle ladiode 5) et enfin au point A6 (celacontrôle la diode 6) ; contrôler leslectures sur le voltmètre par rapportà ce qui est indiqué sur le tableau(tableau 7 pag. 41).

INSTRUCTIONS POUR LEREMPLACEMENT DE LA DIODELorsque les valeurs mesurées indi-quent une diode endommagée, il estnécessaire de la remplacer.Pour ceci, il est recommandé de ne pasextraire les réophères hors de leursemplacements respectifs mais de lescouper la plus près possible du corpsdu composant ; insérer le nouveaucomposant en respectant les polaritéset souder soigneusement à l’étain lesréophères avec les autres pièces à leuremplacement.

Wichtig : Bevor die folgenden Aktio-nen durchgeführt werden, ist es er-forderlich die 2 Leitungen des Haup-trotors von der Diodenbrücke abzuk-lemmen (+ und - ).

DIODENTEST AM "MINUSPOL"• Teile anschließen wie in Bild A be-

schrieben (Abb. 7 Seite 41).• Schließen Sie die von der Lampe

kommene Leitung am Minuspolder Diodenbrücke an, wie in Bild Abeschrieben (Abb. 7 Seite 41)

• Um die Dioden 1, 2 und 3 zu über-prüfen , schließen Sie die freie Lei-tung an die Punkte A1, A2 und A3 anund messen jeweils den Spannung-sabfall im Vergleich zur Tabelle(Abb. 7 Seite 41).

DIODENTEST AM "PLUSPOL"• Teile anschließen wie in Bild B be-

schrieben (Abb. 7 Seite 41)• Schließen Sie die von der Minuspol

der Batterie kommene Leitung amPluspol der Diodenbrücke an, wie inBild B beschrieben (Abb. 7 Seite 41)

• Um die Dioden 4, 5 und 6 zu über-prüfen, schließen Sie die freie Lei-tung an die Punkte 4, 5 und 6 an undmessen jeweils den Spannungsabfallim Vergleich zur Tabelle (Abb. 7Seite 41).

ANWEISUNG ZUM WECHSEL EINERDIODEFalls bei den Messungen eine defekteDiode erkannt wurde, ist diese um-gehend auszutauschen.In diesem Fall schlagen wir vor die An-schlüsse der defekten Diode am Dio-denkörper abzuschneiden; die neueDiode, unter berücksichtigung der Pola-rität, an die verbliebenen Anschlussen-den mittels Lötzinn fachgerecht anzulö-ten.

Importante : Antes de ejecutar seguirlas operaciones siguientes: desco-nectar los dos cables de conexion delrotor principal al puente diodos (+y-).

PRUEBA DE DIODOS SOBRE EL“NEGATIVO”• Conexionar los instrumentos como

indicado en figura A (tab. 7 pag. 41)• Fijar el cable conectado a la lampara

al terminal negativo del puente comoindicado en figura A (tab. 7 pag. 41)

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LASUSTITUCION DEL DIODOSi los valores comprobados indican undiodo dañado, habra que proceder alreemplazo del componente.A tal efecto se aconseja de no extraerlos reoforos de sus respectivos aloja-mientos y de cortarlos en proximidad delcuerpo del componente; insertar elnuevo componente respetando las pola-ridades y soldar a estaño con cuidadolos reoforos con los recortes quedadosen los alojamientos.

ALTERNATOR DOES NOT EXCITE- Check the connection cables using the attached diagrams.- Increase speed by 15%.- For an instant apply on the electronic regulator a 12 V battery voltage with a 30Ω resistor in series respecting the polarities.

AFTER BEING EXCITEDALTERNATOR DOES NOT EXCITE- Check connection cables as per attached drawings.

LOW VOLTAGE AT NO LOAD- Calibrate the voltage using the special potentiometer.- Check the number of turns. (possible safety device activation)- Check the windings.

HIGH VOLTAGE AT NO LOAD- Calibrate the voltage using the special potentiometer.- Check the regulator and replace it if necessary.

AT LOAD CONDITIONS, VOLTAGELOWER THAN RATED VALUE- Calibrate the voltage using the special potentiometer.- Current too high, cosϕ lower than 0.8, speed lower than 4% of the rated value. (possible safety device activation)- Check the regulator and replace it if necessary.- Disconnect the cables and check the diodes; replace them if necessary.

AT LOAD CONDITIONS, VOLTAGEHIGHER THAN RATED VOLTAGE- Calibrate the voltage using the special potentiometer.- Check the regulator and replace it if necessary.

UNSTABLE VOLTAGE- Check that rotation is uniform.- Regulate the stability of the regulator with the "STAB" potentiometer.

NOISY GENERATOR- Check if the bearings must be replaced.- Check if the coupling can be improved.

IL GENERATORE NON SI ECCITA- Controllare il fusibile e se necessario sostituire- In caso di tensione residua insufficiente, aumentare la velocità del 15%.- In caso di tensione residua nulla, applicare per un istante + e - del regolatore elettronico una tensione di 12 V di una batteria, con in serie una resistenza di 30 Ω, rispettando le polarità.

DOPO ECCITATO SI DISECCITA- Controllare i cavi di collegamento servendosi dei disegni allegati.

A VUOTO TENSIONE BASSA- Ritarare la tensione mediante l’apposito potenziometro.- Controllare il numero di giri. (possibile intervento della protezione)- Controllare gli avvolgimenti.

A VUOTO TENSIONE ALTA- Ritarare la tensione mediante l’apposito potenziometro.- Controllare il regolatore e se necessario sostituire.

A CARICO TENSIONE INFERIOREALLA NOMINALE- Ritarare la tensione mediante l’apposito potenziometro.- Corrente troppo alta, cosϕ inferiore a 0.8, velocità inferiore del 4% della nominale. (possibile intervento della protezione)- Controllare il regolatore e se necessario sostituire.- Controllare i diodi scollegando i cavi; sostituire se necessario.

A CARICO TENSIONE SUPERIOREALLA NOMINALE- Ritarare la tensione mediante l’apposito potenziometro.- Controllare il regolatore e se necessario sostituire.

TENSIONE INSTABILE- Controllare l’uniformità di rotazione.- Regolare la stabilità del regolatore agendo sul potenziometro “STAB.”.

GENERATORE RUMOROSO- Controllare e se necessario sostituire i cuscinetti.- Verificare e se necessario migliorare l’accoppiamento.

ANOMALIE E RIMEDI

GENERADOR NO SE EXCITA- Controlar el fusible y, de ser necesario, sustituirlo.- En caso de tensión residual insuficiente, aumentar en un 15% la velocidad.- En caso de tensión residual nula, aplicar durante un instante en los signos + y - del regulador electrónico la tensión de 12 V de una batería, con una resistencia de 30 Ω conectada en serie, observando las polaridades.

DESPUES DE EXCITADO SEDESEXCITA- Controlar los cables de conexión, con el auxilio de los dibujos adjuntos.

EN VACIO TENSION BAJA- Volver a calibrar la tensión mediante el potenciómetro correspondiente.- Controlar el número de revoluciones (posible actuación de la protección).- Controlar los devanados.

EN VACIO TENSION ELEVADA- Volver a calibrar la tensión mediante el potenciómetro correspondiente.- Controlar el regulador y, de ser necesario, sustituirlo.

EN CARGA TENSION INFERIEUR ALA NOMINAL- Volver a calibrar la tensión mediante el potenciómetro correspondiente.- Corriente demasiado alta, cosϕ inferior a 0,8, velocidad el 4% inferior a la nominal (posible actuación de la protección).- Controlar el regulador y, de ser necesario, sustituirlo.- Controlar los diodos desconectando los cables; de ser necesario, sustituirlos.

EN CARGA TENSION SUPERIOR ALA NOMINAL- Volver a calibrar la tensión mediante el potenciómetro correspondiente.- Controlar el regulador y, de ser necesario, sustituirlo.

TENSION INESTABLE- Controlar que la rotación sea uniforme.- Regular la estabilidad del regulador actuando sobre el potenciómetro "STAB".

GENERADORE RUIDOSO- Controlar y, de ser necesario, sustituir los cojinetes.- Verificar y, de ser necesario, mejorar el acoplamiento.

DER GENERATOR ERREGT SICH NICH- Die Schmelzsicherung kontrollieren und bei Bedarf austauschen.- Bei unzureichender Restspannung die Drehzahl um 15% erhöhen.- Bei mangelnder Restspannung ist für kurzeZeit an die Plus- und Minuspole deselektronischen Reglers eine Batteriespan-nung von 12 Volt anzulegen. Dabei ist einWiderstand von 30 Ω in Reihe zur Batteriezu schalten. Polarität beachten.

ZU HOHE SPANNUNG BEI LEERLAUF- Die Spannung mit dem Potentiometer neu einstellen.- Den Regler kontrollieren und bei Bedarf austauschen.

BEI BELASTUNG NIEDRIGERESPANNUNG ALS NORMAL- Die Spannung mit dem Potentiometer neu einstellen.- Zu hoher Strom, cosϕ kleiner als 0.8 oder Geschwindigkeit um 4% niedriger als die Nenngeschwindigkeit (mögliches Ansprechen der Schutzeinrichtung).- Den Regler kontrollieren und bei Bedarf austauschen.- Kabel abklemmen und Dioden kontrollieren; bei Bedarf austauschen.

BEI BELASTUNG HÖHERESPANNUNG ALS NORMAL- Die Spannung mit dem Potentiometer neu einstellen.- Den Regler kontrollieren und bei Bedarf austauschen.

UNSTABILE SPANNUNG-Drehzahlpendelung beseitigen.-Die Stabilität des Reglers über das Potentiometer "STAB" regulieren.

LÄRMENDEN GENERATOR- Die Lager kontrollieren und bei Bedarf austauschen.- Den Anschluß prüfen und bei Bedarf verbessern.

EN CHARGE LA TENSION ESTINFERIEURE A LA TENSIONNOMINALE- Retarer la tension au moyen du potentiomètre prévu à cet effet.- Courant trop élevé, cosϕ inférieur à 0.8, vitesse inférieure de 4% à la vitesse nominale (intervention possible de la protection).- Contrôler le régulateur et le remplacer si nécessaire.- Contrôler les diodes en débranchant les fils; les remplacer si nécessaire.

EN CHARGE, LA TENSION ESTSUPERIEURE A LA NOMINALE- Retarer la tension au moyen du potentiomètre prévu à cet effet.- Contrôler le régulateur et le remplacer si nécessaire.

GARANTIAAMecc alte garantiza labuena construccion y cali-dad de los proprios produc-tos por 24 meses desde lafecha de salida de sus fabri-cas o de sus filiales.

BDurante disho periodo laMecc Alte se obliga a repa-rar o sustituir a su cargo, ensu establecimiento todasacquallas piezas que hubie-ran sido averiadas, sin ha-cerse cargo de otro tipo dedanos, directos o indirectos.

CLa decision acerca del reco-nocimiento de garantia estareservada exclusi-vamentea la Mecc Alte, previo exa-men de las partes averiadasque deberan permaneceren puerto franco o en supropia sede de Vicenza.

DTodos los eventuales ga-stos de transporte, viaje,transferencia o mano deobra, para el desmontaje ynuevo montaje, del alter-nador o elemento accio-nante seran siempre acargo del usuario.

ELa garantia caduca si du-rante el periodo descrito seprodujeran las siguientesanomalias:

1almacenaje en lugar inade-cuado;

2reparacion o modificacionpor personal no autorizadopor Mecc Alte;

3utilizacion o condiciones demanuntencion que contra-vengan las normas estable-cidas por Mecc Alte;

4sobrecarga o empleo enprestaciones distintas deaquellas para las que haestado suministrado.

La garantia cesa igual-mente en el momento queel cliente sea moroso depago, cualquiera que sea larazon.

GARANZIAALa Mecc Alte garantisce labuona costruzione e quali-ta' dei propri alternatori per24 mesi dalla data di spedi-zione dai propri stabilimentio filiali.

BDurante il suddetto periodola Mecc Alte si impegna ariparare o sostituire (a pro-prie spese) nella propriasede, quelle parti che si fos-sero avariate, senza pero’essere tenuta a risarcimentidi danni diretti o indiretti.

CLa decisione sul rico-noscimento o meno dellagaranzia e’ riservata esclu-sivamente alla Mecc Alteprevio esame delle partiavariate che dovranno per-venire in porto franco, allasua sede di Vicenza.

DTutte le eventuali spese diviaggio, trasferta, trasporto,mano d’opera per lo smon-taggio e rimontaggio dell’al-ternatore dall‘ap-parecchiatura azionantesono sempre a carico del-l’utente.

ELa garanzia decade se du-rante il periodo predetto, iprodotti fossero:

1immagazzinati in luogo nonadatto;

2riparati o modificati da per-sonale non autorizzatodalla Mecc Alte;

3usati o sottoposti a ma-nutenzione non in base allenorme stabilite dalla MeccAlte;

4sovraccaricati o impiegati inprestazioni diverse daquelle per le quali sono statiforniti.

La garanzia cessa comun-que qualora il cliente fosseinadempiente nei paga-menti per qualunque ra-gione.

GARANTIEALa société Mecc Alte ga-rantit la bonne constructionet qualité de ses produitspour une durée de 24 moisà compter de la date d'ex-pédition de ses usines defabrication ou filiales.

BDurant la période indiquée,Mecc Alte s’engage à répa-rer ou à remplacer (à prixéquivalent) dans la société,la partie qui serait endom-magée sans tou-tefois êtretenue de prendre en consi-dération les frais directs ouindirects.

CLa décision sur la prise encharge ou non de la garan-tie est réservée exclusive-ment à Mecc Alte sur exa-men préalable des piècesendommagées qui devrontparvenir en port Franco àl’usine de Vicenza.

DTout les éventuels frais devoyage, transfert, transport,main d’oeuvre pour le dé-montage de l’alternateursont toujours à la charge del’utilisateur.

ELa garantie ne s’appliquepas si durant la période indi-quée il y a:

1emmagasinement dans unlocal non adapté;

2réparations ou modifi-cations personnelles nonautorisées par Mecc Alte;

3usage et manutentions nonconformes aux normes éta-blies par Mecc Alte;

4surcharges et emplois desfonctions différentes de cel-les pour lequel ils sont four-nis.

Il est bien évident que lagarantie ne s’applique quesur le matériel payé en tota-lité.

WARRANTYAMecc Alte warrants thegood manufacture and qua-lity of all its products for 24months, starting from thetime of shipment from ourfactories or our branches.
