Painter (Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia). His artistic experience, highly varied, ranges from set-design, dance and choreography to animated films to ceramics. For many years he has worked in collaboration with Stella Battaglia on perspective
and anamorphoses from the viewpoint of research, both theoretical and creative, concentrating in
particular on anamorphosis with spherical mirrors. At the Museo Galileo he holds workshops on the
subject of relations between vision and representation – perspective and cartographic – and on subjects linked to this theme, such as the camera obscura and gnomonics. In an in-depth
study of how time is measured, he built a catoptric sundial for the Museo Galileo (2010). He has also
created in collaboration with Stella Battaglia installations for various national and international
exhibitions, starting from 2001, In the Sign of Masaccio. The Invention of Perspective, (Florence,
Galleria degli Uffizi). In 2012 the Museo Galileo dedicated to the artists’ research an extensive
personal exhibition, The Geometry of Illusion: Art meets Science. In 2014, a one-man show at the
MA-EC, Milan Art &Event Centre. In 2015, personal exposition at Galerie BOA, Paris.
