Season Interface This is one of the most interesting and useful devicesfor SmartCard analyzing. It allows you to monitor all the data flow between a Smartcard and a Remote device. Using some logging softwares you can watch the full data comunication and then make your considerations. All the commands sent and received from the SmartCard and the Remote device. Once you did it you can fully be able to emulate it thanks to his emulating feature that must be software implemented (like done under Fausto). It connects to the serial port of your computer and must be power supplied. You can use this interface even for simple TTL applications using the serial protocol. The main work is done by the software you are using that must be able to set the Serial port accordingly with the Standard used by the SmartCard (most of the times it's 9600:8N1, but can be different). It connects to your PC Serial Rs-232 Com port and must be externally power supplied with a standard 9 Volts Alkaline battery of power supplier. A Jumper allows you to select between Logger or Emulator Season Interface est l'un des instruments pour l'analyse de SmartCard le plus utile et intéressant. Il vous permet de vérifier les flux de données entre une Smartcard et un lecteur.

L'utilisation d'un logiciel de logging (enregistrement) vous permet de surveiller complètement la communication et ainsi poser votre diagnostic et conclusions pour toutes les commandes envoyées et reçues entre la SmartCard et le lecteur. Vous pourrez ainsi émuler la communication, celle-ci devant être implémentée par software (comme avec Fausto). Season Logger 2 Interface se connecte au port série de votre ordinateur, et doit être alimenté (9 Volt par batterie alcaline ou adaptateur secteur). Vous pourrez également utiliser cet interface pour des applications TTL simples utilisant un protocole série. La tâche principale étant exécutée par le software que vous utiliserez, et qui doit être en mesure de configurer le port série selon le standard employé par la SmartCard (en général 9600:8N1). 3.In MONITOR carica keys.bin (o nella tabella Season trascina il file keys.bin)

4.Clicca sulla Tabella Season

5.Seleziona season EMULAZIONE nel menu (clicca tasto destro) (irdeto, seca, viaccess, conax, cryptoworks) 6.Seleziona Season COM PORTA 7.Metti parametri COM (cf Fausto & Season Bauds Section)

8.Seleziona Caid voluto (Per canali ideto assicurati della corretta selezione dei caids, altri lavorano con «ALL» caids)

9.Clicca su Connetti

9.Inserisci Season card nella cam (I contatti nella parte superiore nelle cam in molti casi, nella parte sotto nei lettori card interni) Appena dopo la connessione questo messaggio apparirà :

Significa aspettare dopo aver inserito la season (Cams o Ricevitore)

10.Aspetta la seguenza dei messaggi che appariranno Conferma la connessione della season nel lettore

Se ci sono problemi nella seguenza & settaggi cerca di iniziare la connessione in un canale free to air e cambia in un canale criptato

Se tutto è fatto correttamente nel ci/lettore, season emulazione apparirà come una card inserita

Seleziona il canale voluto nel ricevitore, se tu sei in una giusta emulazione season, le immagini saranno chiare & ecm saranno mostrati in Monitor tabella & Fausto Emulatore pronto a decodificare il canale

For more understanding i'll use an example I want to find the baudrate for seca emulation & my dragon By default we know the standard setting for seca is Baud = 9600 Parity = even DataBit = 8 Stoptbit =2 If cam or receiver want to be compatible with seca it must use a baudrate value near to the original baudrate On first tests you'll try 9600 if failed test 8861 if failed test 8228 if failed test 10472 if failed test 11520 Same process for viaccess & conax For irdeto is different Simply because this card can support 2 Different settings by default on 3.57 MHZ the default setting is 5760 (many cam use this one to be compatible with card emulation: titanium, gold irdeto, etc etc) on 6.00 MHZ the default setting is 9600 (original cam use only this one) it take more time for finding baudrate due to much tests required If you follow the baud rate table you'll find the baud rate very quickly for each cams or receiver
