SLOVENIA

LIBRI SENZA PAROLE DESTINAZIONE LAMPEDUSA è una mostra itinerante che raccoglie circa 120 libri provenienti da oltre venti paesi di quattro continenti per sostenere la creazione di una biblioteca per bambini italiani e migranti sull’isola di Lampedusa.

La mostra è costituita da SILENT BOOKS, ovvero albi illustrati senza parole che raccontano ciò che le parole non riescono ad esprimere: emozioni, progetti, ricordi che corrono sul filo silenzioso delle figure, per superare le barriere linguistiche e favorire l’incontro tra culture diverse.

La selezione dei libri è stata curata da IBBY - International Board of Books for Young People - associazione internazionale che promuove il libro come strumento che intesse rapporti, collega, unisce, riduce le differenze.

La mostra fa tappa a Brescia e continuerà a viaggiare in Italia e nel mondo con destinazione finale Lampedusa.
