Rubinetteria interamente realizza-ta in acciaio inossidabile AISI316L con maniglie in sughero, un ma-teriale che è l’essenza stessa della natura. L’introduzione del concet-to di Denominazione di Origine Controllata come garanzia pro-fonda del nostro “Lo facciamo in Italia”. Disponibile la finitura Spaz-zolato per le parti in acciaio e due diverse essenze per le maniglie in sughero.

IL SUGHERO, UN PRODOTTO NATURALE STRAORDINARIOLa corteccia dell’albero da sughero ha una struttura a nido d’ape composta da piccole celle piene di aria. Le proprietà del sughero derivano naturalmente dalla struttura e dalla composizione chimica delle membrane, estremamente robuste ma flessibili, che sono impermeabili e ermetiche. Ogni centimetro cubico di struttura del sughero contiene tra 30 e 40 milioni di cellule.Alcune caratteristiche, uniche e molto utili, del sughero sono:Impermeabilità • La presenza di suberina (una complessa miscela di acidi grassi e di alcool organico pesante) rende il sughero impermeabile sia ai liquidi sia ai gas. Di conseguenza non cambia e può quindi essere considerato una delle migliori guarnizioni disponibili.Isolamento • Il sughero ha una delle migliori capacità isolanti, termiche e acustiche, fra tutte le sostanze naturali. Ciò è dovuto al fatto che gli elementi gassosi sono sigillati in piccoli scomparti impermeabili, isolati uno dall’altro da un materiale resistente all’umidità.Durata • Il sughero è notevolmente resistente all’usura ed ha un elevato coefficiente di attrito. Grazie alla struttura a nido d’ape, è meno influenzato dall’impatto e dall’attrito delle altre superfici dure.Ipoallergenico • Il sughero non assorbe la polvere e di conseguenza non provoca allergie né costituisce un rischio per i malati di asma.Biodegradabile, riciclabile e rinnovabile • Il sughero è una materia prima naturale biodegradabile al 100%, riciclabile e rinnovabile..

CORK, AN AMAZING NATURAL PRODUCTThe bark of the cork oak tree has a unique honeycomb structure composed of tiny cells filled entirely with air. The properties of cork derive naturally from the structure and chemical composition of the extremely strong, flexible membranes that are waterproof and airtight. Each cubic centimetre of cork’s structure contains between 30 and 40 million cells.Some of cork’s most unique and useful characteristics are:Impermeability • The presence of suberin (a complex mixture of fatty acids and heavy organic alcohol) renders cork impermeable to both liquids and gases. As a result it does not rot, and may therefore be considered one of the best seals available.Insulation • Cork has one of the best insulating capacities, thermal and acoustical, of all natural substances. This is due to the fact that the gaseous elements are sealed in tiny, impermeable compartments, insulated one from the other by a moisture resistant material.Durability • Cork is also remarkable resistant to wear and has a high friction coefficient.
