Evaluation of geothermal potential of the regions of Southern Italy

Increase the share of energy consumed from geothermal sources, including both the high temperature for the production of electricity, and the use of innovative technologiesVIGOR, a project that stems from an operational agreement between the MSE - DG ENRE and CNR - DTA of the POI in the "Renewable Energy and Energy Saving 2007/2013", which aims to identify and implement measures to expand the potential to be exploited geothermal energy on the territory of Campania, Calabria, Puglia and Sicily.

Concordia Italian-French Base in Antarctica

Italian Station Mario ZucchelliZucchelli Station is located in Terra Victoria, Ross Sea. It has a surface of more than 2.000 m2. It is able to lodge up tp 100 persons and it has an airport on marine ice, operational until November, three helipads and a number of laboratories and automatic installations for scientific research and telecommunications.
