L'impianto per la produzione di energia solare dello stabilimento Ferrino di San Mauro Torinese continua ad essere attivo. E il bilancio per Ferrino ma soprattutto per l'ambiente non può che dirsi positivo. I 396 moduli fotovoltaici ad alte prestazioni hanno soddisfatto buona parte delle esigenze dello stabilimento sfruttando energia pulita e rinnovabile. Un'energia quindi con un impatto assolutamente leggero per l'ambiente.

Nei suoi 18 mesi di vita l'impianto ha prodotto 126.450 KWh per un'emissione di CO2 evitata pari a circa 88.520 Kg e un consumo di olio combustibile evitato di 31.610 kg.Ferrino ha scelto l'energia solare per muoversi in sintonia con la natura e operare con responsabilità nei confronti della comunità e del pianeta. Un'azione che si traduce anche nelle iniziative T.RES Ferrino per sostenere progetti di solidarietà internazionale e di sensibilizzazione dei consumatori sui principi della responsabilità turistica, destinando ad essi il 2% del proprio margine operativo lordo (EBIT).

Ferrino è socio di AITR, il più grande network mondiale per la promozione del Turismo Responsabile, e di EOG, gruppo che coinvolge l'industria europea dell'outdoor nella protezione della natura incontaminata, attraverso l'iniziativa "Association for Conservation".

The solar power production system at the Ferrino plant in San Mauro Torinese is always online. And the outcome for Ferrino but above all for the environment can only be considered positive. The 396 high-performance photovoltaic modules have met a good part of the plant’s energy needs using a clean and renewable source. Energy with a totally light impact on the environment.

During its first 18 months, the system has produced 126,450 KW, saving some 88,520 kg of carbon emissions and fuel oil consumption of 31,610 kg. Ferrino has chosen solar power to move forward in line with nature, working with responsibility when it comes to the community and the planet. This ethos has also been translated into Ferrino T.RES initiatives in support of international solidarity projects and initiatives to raise consumer awareness about responsible tourism. In fact, Ferrino devolves 2% of its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to these causes.

Ferrino is a member of AITR, the world’s largest network for the promotion of Responsible Tourism; it is also a member of EOG, a group involving the European outdoor industry, to protect unspoilt nature through its "Association for Conservation" programme.

L'impianto per la produzione di energia solare dello stabilimento Ferrino di San Mauro Torinese continua ad essere attivo. E il bilancio per Ferrino ma soprattutto per l'ambiente non può che dirsi positivo. I 396 moduli fotovoltaici ad alte prestazioni hanno soddisfatto buona parte delle esigenze dello stabilimento sfruttando energia pulita e rinnovabile. Un'energia quindi con un impatto assolutamente leggero per l'ambiente.

Nei suoi 18 mesi di vita l'impianto ha prodotto 126.450 KWh per un'emissione di CO2 evitata pari a circa 88.520 Kg e un consumo di olio combustibile evitato di 31.610 kg.Ferrino ha scelto l'energia solare per muoversi in sintonia con la natura e operare con responsabilità nei confronti della comunità e del pianeta. Un'azione che si traduce anche nelle iniziative T.RES Ferrino per sostenere progetti di solidarietà internazionale e di sensibilizzazione dei consumatori sui principi della responsabilità turistica, destinando ad essi il 2% del proprio margine operativo lordo (EBIT).

Ferrino è socio di AITR, il più grande network mondiale per la promozione del Turismo Responsabile, e di EOG, gruppo che coinvolge l'industria europea dell'outdoor nella protezione della natura incontaminata, attraverso l'iniziativa "Association for Conservation".
