2. Bestimmungsgemäßer GebrauchDas Gerät dient zum Abspielen von Audiodaten, die über ein WLAN-Netzwerk empfangen wer-den. Außerdem können Sie mit dem Gerät Audiosignale externer Geräte wiedergeben.Benutzen Sie das Gerät zu keinem anderen Zweck. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur in Innenräumen.
Das Gerät ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den industriellen/kommerziellen Ge-brauch bestimmt.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass im Falle des nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauchs die Haftung erlischt: Bauen Sie das Gerät nicht ohne unsere Zustimmung um und verwenden Sie keine nicht
von uns genehmigten oder gelieferten Zusatzgeräte. Verwenden Sie nur von uns gelieferte oder genehmigte Ersatz- und Zubehörteile. Beachten Sie alle Informationen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung, insbesondere die Sicher-
heitshinweise. Jede andere Bedienung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Personen- oder Sachschäden führen.
Nutzen Sie das Gerät nicht unter extremen Umgebungsbedingungen. Alle Multimediageräte, an die den WLAN-Lautsprecher angeschlossen wird, müssen den

3. Sicherheitshinweise
3.1. Nicht zugelassener PersonenkreisBewahren Sie das Gerät und das Zubehör an einem für Kinder unerreichba-ren Platz auf.
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber und von Perso-nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unter-wiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden ha-ben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8 Jahre und älter und werden beaufsichtigt;
Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sollen vom Gerät und der Anschlussleitung fern-gehalten werden.

Verpackungsfolien können verschluckt oder unsachgemäß benutzt werden, daher besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Halten Sie das Verpackungsmaterial, wie z.B. Folien oder Plastik-beutel von Kindern fern.
3.2. Das Gerät sicher aufstellen Stellen und betreiben Sie alle Komponenten auf einer stabilen, ebenen
und vibrationsfreien Unterlage, um Stürze des Gerätes zu vermeiden. Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen Erschütterungen aus. Erschütterungen kön-
nen der empfindlichen Elektronik schaden. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine direkten Wärmequellen (z. B. Heizungen)
auf das Gerät wirken. Es dürfen keine offenen Brandquellen (z. B. brennende Kerzen) auf oder
in der Nähe des Gerätes stehen. Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf Kabel, da diese sonst beschädigt wer-
den könnten.

Halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von ca. 10 cm zwischen Wänden und Gerät bzw. Netzteil (nicht mitgeliefert) ein. Sorgen Sie für eine ausrei-chende Belüftung.
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße, wie z.B. Vasen, auf das Gerät oder in die nähere Umgebung. Das Gefäß kann umkippen und die Flüssigkeit kann die elektrische Sicherheit beeinträchtigen. Halten Sie das Gerät von Feuchtigkeit, Tropf- und Spritzwasser fern.
Vermeiden Sie Erschütterungen, Staub, Hitze und direkte Sonnenein-strahlung, um Betriebsstörungen zu verhindern. Die Betriebstemperatur beträgt 5 bis 35 °C.
Betreiben Sie Ihr Gerät nicht im Freien, da äußere Einflüsse wie Regen, Schnee etc. das Gerät beschädigen könnten.
Halten Sie mindestens einen Meter Abstand von hochfrequenten und magnetischen Störquellen (Fernsehgerät, Lautsprecherboxen, Mobiltele-fon usw.) ein, um Funktionsstörungen zu vermeiden. Sollten Funktions-störungen auftreten, stellen Sie das Gerät an einem anderen Ort auf.

Bei großen Temperatur- oder Feuchtigkeitsschwankungen kann es durch Kondensation zur Feuchtigkeitsbildung innerhalb des Gerätes kommen, die einen elektrischen Kurzschluss verursachen kann.
3.3. Niemals selbst reparieren Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn Gerät oder Anschlussleitun-
gen sichtbare Schäden aufweisen oder das Gerät heruntergefallen ist.

5. Netzwerkkonfi gurationDer WLAN-Lautsprecher wird über WLAN mit dem Netzwerk verbunden. Die WiFi-Antenne des Lautsprechers empfängt die Signale des Netzwerk-Routers.
5.1. Notwendige NetzwerkeigenschaftenDamit das Gerät auf Musik Dateien im Netzwerk zugreifen kann, muss das Netzwerk folgende Eigenschaften haben:• Der für das Netzwerk eingesetzte Router muss eine DHCP-Server-Funktion besitzen, da-
mit er dem Gerät im Netzwerk automatisch eine IP-Adresse zuweisen kann.Stellen Sie die DHCP-Funktion andernfalls im Web-Interface auf manuell ein.
• Die Medienfreigabe für UPNP muss im Router eingerichtet sein.
6. Akku aufl aden Verbinden Sie den Lautsprecher über die DC IN Buchse am Gerät mit einem externen
microUSB Netzteil.Die Lade-LED leuchtet während des Ladevorganges rot.Die Lade-LED erlischt, sobald der Akku voll aufgeladen ist.

7. Lautsprecher ein- und ausschalten
7.1. Lautsprecher einschalten Halten Sie die Taste Standby gedrückt, um den Lautsprecher einzuschalten.
HINWEIS!Der WLAN-Lautsprecher verbindet sich nach dem einschalten automatisch mit dem vorher eingestellten WLAN. Dies kann bis zu 1 Minute dauern. In dieser Zeit lässt sich der WLAN-Lautsprecher nicht bedienen!
7.2. Bereitschafts-Modus Halten Sie die Taste Standby gedrückt, um den Lautsprecher in den Bereitschafts-Mo-
dus zu schalten.

8. Erstinbetriebnahme
8.1. App auf ein Android/Apple Smartphone/Tablet-PC installieren
Um den WLAN-Lautsprecher einzustellen, müssen Sie zunächst die über den Playstore (And-roid) bzw. AppStore (Apple) zur Verfügung gestellte App MEDION SPEAKER auf Ihrem Tab-let-PC/Smartphone installieren.Alternativ können Sie die APP mit Hilfe der unten aufgeführten QR Codes automatisch herun-terladen.

8.2. WLAN- und Alexa-Verbindung über die MEDION SPEAKER App herstellen
Schalten Sie den WLAN-Lautsprecher ein. Sobald die Betriebs-LED und der LED-Ring weiß leuchten, ist der WLAN-Lautsprecher mit dem WLAN verbunden.
Verbinden Sie Ihr mobiles Gerät mit Ihrem WLAN Netzwerk.

Starten Sie die MEDION SPEAKER App.
HINWEIS!Sollten bereits WLAN-Lautprecher im gewählten WLAN angemeldet sein, über-springt der Einrichtungsassistent die Ersteinrichtung.
Tippen Sie auf ASSISTENT FÜR DIE WI-FI-EINRICHTUNG, um den WLAN-Lautsprecher manuell in Ihrem WLAN anzumelden.
Bestätigen Sie den Hinweis zur Auswahl eines 2.4 GHz WLAN, indem Sie auf WEITER tippen. Geben Sie nun das WLAN Passwort ein und bestätigen Sie, indem Sie auf WEITER tippen.
Drücken und halten Sie die -Taste am WLAN-Lautsprecher gedrückt und tippen auf WEITER.
Der WLAN-Lautsprecher wird nun mit dem ausgewählten WLAN verbunden. Dies kann bis zu 2 Minuten dauern.
Bestätigen Sie die erfolgreiche WLAN Verbindung, indem Sie nach Aufforderung auf WEI-
TER tippen. Wählen Sie nun einen gewünschten Gerätenamen und bestätigen Sie ihn, indem Sie auf
> tippen. Tippen Sie nun auf ANMELDEN MIT AMAZON, wenn Sie die Alexa Funktion nutzen wollen. Melden Sie sich mit Ihrem Amazon Prime Konto an. Wählen Sie nach erfolgreicher Anmeldung die gewünschte Alexa bzw. Systemsprache
aus und folgen Sie den weiteren Anweisungen.

HINWEIS!Ihr mobiles Gerät (Smartphone oder Tablet-PC) muss im WLAN Netzwerk des Rou-ters angemeldet sein. Um die Alexa-Funktionalität in vollem Umfang nutzen zu kön-nen, melden Sie sich über die Amazon Alexa App mit Ihren Nutzerdaten an.
8.3. WLAN-Verbindung über WPS herstellenWenn Ihr Router über eine WPS -Taste verfügt, können Sie die Verbindung des Lautspre-chers zum Netzwerk über diese Taste einfach herstellen:
Schalten Sie den WLAN-Lautsprecher ein. Drücken Sie die WPS -Taste des WLAN-Routers.
Drücken Sie die -Taste des WLAN-Lautsprechers für ca. 3 Sekunden, bis ein akusti-sches Signal zu hören ist.
HINWEIS!Beachten Sie hierzu auch die Bedienungsanleitung des Routers.
Das Gerät baut nun eine Verbindung mit dem Netzwerk auf. Währenddessen blinkt die Be-triebs- LED. Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung leuchten die Betriebs-LED und der LED-Ring dau-erhaft weiß. Das Gerät kann nun Audiosignale aus dem Netzwerk wiedergeben.Das Gerät speichert die Verbindungsdaten, so dass sie bei einem erneuten Einschalten nicht noch einmal eingegeben werden müssen.

HINWEIS!Der WLAN-Lautsprecher arbeitet auch als WLAN Router. Daher sollten Sie nach er-folgreicher Verbindung mit Ihrem Netzwerk das Netzwerk des Lautsprechers mit ei-nem Passwort (mind. 8 Zeichen) schützen.
9. Musik wiedergebenSie können auf Ihrem WLAN-Lautsprecher Musik aus dem Netzwerk, Musik von einem über WLAN angemeldeten Gerät (Direkt-Modus) oder das Stereosignal eines extern angeschlosse-nen Gerätes wiedergeben.Im Folgenden werden die Betriebsarten des WLAN-Lautsprechers mit den verschiedenen Au-dioquellen beschrieben.
9.1. WLAN-Direktverbindung über MEDION SPEAKER herstellenBesteht keine Möglichkeit zum Aufbau einer Netzwerkverbindung über WPS, verwenden Sie die App MEDION SPEAKER Ihres Smartphones oder Tablets, um eine Verbindung mit dem WLAN-Lautsprecher herzustellen.
Schalten Sie den WLAN-Lautsprecher ein. Öffnen Sie die WLAN Einstellungen Ihres mobilen Gerätes. Wählen Sie das vorgeschlagene Audiosystem „MD43631-XXXX” aus und tippen Sie auf
Verbinden.

Drücken Sie nun auf die „Zurück- Taste“ Ihres Smartphones. Starten Sie die MEDION SPEAKER App.
Die MEDION SPEAKER App verbindet nun Ihr mobiles Gerät mit dem WLAN-Lautsprecher. Sobald die Verbindung betriebsbereit ist, wechselt die App automatisch in das Quellenver-zeichnis.Sobald die Einrichtung des Gerätes und somit die Verbindung des WLAN-Lautsprechers mit dem Internet erfolgreich beendet wurde, leuchtet die Betriebs-LED dauerhaft weiß.
9.2. WLAN-Passwort vergebenVergeben Sie dem WLAN des WLAN-Lautsprechers ein Passwort, um das WLAN des WLAN-Lautsprechers vor einem unerlaubtem Zugriff zu schützen.Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Starten Sie die MEDION SPEAKER App. Öffnen Sie die Einstellungen ( ) des WLAN-Lautsprechers, dessen Passwort Sie ändern
möchten. Öffnen Sie nun die LAUTSPRECHERINFO. Öffnen Sie den Punkt GERÄTEPASSWORT. Aktivieren Sie WPA PSK als Sicherheitseinstellung. Geben Sie nun ein von Ihnen gewähltes Passwort (mind. 8 Zeichen) ein.

9.3. Über Spotify® Musik hörenSie können Audiodaten vom Musikstreaming-Dienst Spotify® über den WLAN-Lautsprecher abspielen. Voraussetzung ist, dass Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone oder Tablet PC die Premium-Version der Spotify-App installiert haben und dass der WLAN-Lautspre-cher und das Gerät mit der Spotify-App im selben Netzwerk an-gemeldet sind.The Spotify® software is subject to third party licenses found here: www.spotify.com/connect/third-party-licenses.
9.4. Spotify installieren Öffnen Sie den Google Play® oder den Apple App Store® und suchen Sie nach dem Be-
griff Spotify. Installieren Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone oder Tablet PC die Spotify-App. Folgen Sie dabei
den Anweisungen zur Installation auf dem Bildschirm. Abonnieren Sie den Premium Account von Spotify®.

10. Wiedergabe über MEDION SPEAKER App Schalten Sie den WLAN-Lautsprecher ein.
Sobald die Betriebs-LED und der LED-Ring weiß leuchten, ist der WLAN-Lautsprecher mit dem WLAN verbunden.
Starten Sie die MEDION SPEAKER App.Die App startet in dem Hauptbildschirm, in dem Sie Wiedergabelisten öffnen, Titel vor und zurück springen, die Lautstärke ändern oder Favoriten wählen können.
Öffnen Sie die Geräteliste, indem Sie mit Ihrem Finger im Hauptbildschirm der App von rechts nach links wischen.
Hier werden nun alle angemeldeten WLAN-Lautsprecher angezeigt. Um einen WLAN-Lautsprecher zu einer Gruppe hinzuzufügen, müssen Sie den entspre-
chenden WLAN-Lautsprecher antippen und einfach auf einen anderen gewünschten WLAN-Lautsprecher „ziehen“.

So können Sie die Musik gleichzeitig über jeden in der Gruppe „abgelegten“ WLAN-Lautspre-cher abspielen.
HINWEIS!Für eine Gruppenbildung sind mindestens 2 Lautsprecher nötig.
Um einen WLAN-Lautsprecher von einer Gruppe zu lösen, „ziehen“ Sie einfach einen ge-wünschten WLAN-Lautsprecher aus der Gruppe heraus.
Nun können Sie über jeden einzelnen WLAN-Lautsprecher eine andere Musik abspielen.
11. Wiedergabe über Bluetooth®
Drücken Sie die Taste , um den WLAN-Lautsprecher in den Bluetooth-Modus zu schalten.Die Betriebs-LED fängt an blau zu blinken.
Verbinden Sie das Smartgerät via Bluetooth mit dem Bluetoothgerät „MD43631“.Die Betriebs-LED fängt an blau zu leuchten, sobald der WLAN-Lautsprecher mit dem Smart-phone verbunden ist. Jetzt können Sie mit dem Audio Player Ihres Gerätes Ihre Musik wieder-geben.

12. Wiedergabe von einem externen Audiogerät Schließen Sie ein 3,5 mm Stereoklinkenkabel an die Buchse AUX-IN an, um den Ton ande-
rer Audiogeräte mit dem WLAN-Lautsprecher wiederzugeben.
Drücken Sie wiederholt die Taste , um den WLAN-Lautsprecher in den AUX-Modus zu schalten.
Der WLAN-Lautsprecher schaltet in den AUX-IN Modus und die Betriebs-LED leuchtet grün. Um wieder zum vorher eingestellten WLAN-Modus (Netzwerk oder Bluetooth) zu wech-
seln, drücken Sie wiederholt die Taste .
13. Zurücksetzen bei fehlerhafter Funktion
13.1. Gerät auf Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzen Schalten Sie den WLAN-Lautsprecher ein Starten Sie die MEDION SPEAKER App. Öffnen Sie die Geräteliste, indem Sie mit Ihrem Finger im Hauptbildschirm der App von
rechts nach links wischen. Tippen Sie nun auf die Einstellung ( ), des gewünschten WLAN-Lautsprechers. Tippen Sie nun auf LAUTSPRECHERINFO. Tippen Sie nun auf WERKSEINSTELLUNGEN WIEDERHERSTELLEN.

Tippen Sie nun auf BESTÄTIGEN.
14. Alexa FunktionenAlexa ist ein Sprachassistent der auf Nachfrage Informationen, Nachrichten, Wetter und mehr akustisch an Sie weitergibt.
Sprechen Sie Alexa im WLAN Modus mit „ALEXA“ an.Der LED-Ring leuchtet blau und Alexa ist aktiviert.
Drücken Sie die Taste um Alexa ohne „Ansprechen“ zu aktivieren.
Drücken Sie die Taste um die Alexa Mikrofone „Stumm“ zu schalten.
HINWEIS!Der Alexa Sprachassistent kann nur im WLAN Modus, mit einem verbundenen Ama-zon Prime Konto betrieben werden.
Eine detailliertere Bedienung der Alexa Funktion und die Möglichkeit weitere Zusatzfunktio-nen (so genannte Skills) zu installieren finden Sie in der Amazon Alexa App.Diese können Sie über den Playstore (Android) bzw. AppStore (Apple) auf Ihrem Tablet-PC/Smartphone installieren.

15. Software-UpdateSie können die Software des WLAN-Lautsprechers über die App aktualisieren. Die App sucht, ob ein Software-Update verfügbar ist und lädt dieses über das Internet auf den WLAN-Laut-sprecher.
Schalten Sie den WLAN-Lautsprecher ein Starten Sie die MEDION SPEAKER App.

2. Proper useThis device is used for playing audio files streamed over a Wi-Fi network. In addition, you can use the device to play audio signals from external devices.Do not use the device for any other purpose. Only use the device indoors.

3. Safety information
3.1. People not permitted to use this deviceKeep the device and its accessories out of the reach of children.
This device may be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the risks it poses. Do not allow children to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are aged 8 or over and are supervised.
Children younger than 8 should be kept away from the device and the mains cable.

3.2. Setting up the device safely Set up and operate all the components on a stable, level and vibration-
free surface to prevent the device from falling. Do not expose the device to any vibrations. Knocks and vibrations may
damage the sensitive electronics. Do not place the product near heat sources (e.g. heaters) which could
affect it. Do not place naked flames (e.g. lit candles) on or near the device. Do not place any objects on the cables as they may be damaged. Maintain a minimum distance of approx. 10 cm between the device or
mains adapter (not supplied) and any walls. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not place liquid-filled containers, such as vases, on or near the device.
Such containers could tip over, and the liquid could impair the electrical safety of the product. Keep the device away from moisture and from splashes or sprayed water.
Avoid knocks, dust, heat and direct sunlight in order to prevent malfunction. The operating temperature is 5-35 °C.

Do not use the device outdoors as it could be damaged by rain, snow, etc. To avoid malfunctions, keep the device at a distance of at least one
metre from high-frequency or magnetic interference sources (televisions, loudspeaker boxes, mobile telephones, etc.). If any malfunctions occur, set up the device at a different location.
Major changes in temperature or fluctuations in humidity can cause moisture to build up within the product due to condensation – this can cause an electrical short circuit.
3.3. Never carry out repairs yourself Do not use the device if it has been dropped or if the device or the
connecting cables are visibly damaged.

5. Network confi gurationThe Wi-Fi speaker is connected to the network via Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi antenna on the speaker receives the signals from your network router.
5.1. Network requirementsThe network must meet the following requirements for the device to be able to access music files on the network:• The router used for the network must have a DHCP server function so it can automatically
assign a network IP address to the device.Otherwise, set the DHCP function in the web interface to manual.
• The media sharing function for UPNP must be set up on the router.
6. Charging the battery Connect the speaker to an external microUSB mains adapter via the DC IN socket on
the device.The charging LED lights up in red during the charging process.The charging LED will go out as soon as the rechargeable battery is fully charged.

7. Switching the speaker on and off
7.1. Switching on the speaker Press and hold down the Standby button to turn on the speaker.
NOTE!The Wi-Fi speaker will automatically connect to the previously set Wi-Fi network after it has been switched on. This can take up to 1 minute. The Wi-Fi speaker cannot be operated during this time!
7.2. Standby mode Press and hold down the Standby button to switch the speaker into standby mode.
8. Using the device for the fi rst time
8.1. Installing the app on an Android/Apple smartphone/tablet PC
In order to amend the settings for the Wi-Fi speaker, you first need to install the MEDION
SPEAKER app on your tablet PC/smartphone that is available via the Playstore (Android) or AppStore (Apple).

8.2. Establishing a Wi-Fi and Alexa connection via the MEDION SPEAKER app
Switch the Wi-Fi speaker on. As soon as the operating LED and the LED ring light up white, the Wi-Fi speaker is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Connect your mobile device to your Wi-Fi network. Start the MEDION SPEAKER app.
NOTE!If Wi-Fi speakers have already been registered to the selected Wi-Fi network, the setup wizard will skip the initial setup.
Tap on WI-FI SETUP WIZARD to manually register the Wi-Fi speaker with your Wi-Fi network.

Confirm the note about selecting a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network by tapping on NEXT. Now enter the Wi-Fi password and confirm by tapping on NEXT.
Press and hold down the button on the Wi-Fi speaker and tap on NEXT.The Wi-Fi speaker will now connect to the selected Wi-Fi network. This can take up to 2 minutes.
Confirm the successful connection by tapping on NEXT when requested. Next enter your desired device name and confirm by tapping on >. Now tap on SIGN IN WITH AMAZON if you want to use the Alexa function. Log in to your Amazon Prime account. After successfully logging in, select the desired Alexa or system language and follow the
subsequent instructions.
NOTE!Your mobile device (smartphone or tablet PC) must be registered on your router’s Wi-Fi network. To use the full range of Alexa functions, log in using your user data via the Amazon Alexa app.
8.3. Establishing a Wi-Fi connection via WPSIf your router has a WPS button, you can easily connect the speaker to the network using this button:
Switch the Wi-Fi speaker on.

Press the WPS button on the Wi-Fi router.
Press the button on the Wi-Fi speaker for approx. 3 seconds until you hear an acoustic signal.
NOTE!Please also refer here to the operating instructions for the router.
The device will now establish a connection with the network. The operating LED flashes during this process. After the connection has been successfully established, the operating LED and the LED ring will light up permanently in white.The device can now play back audio signals via the network.The device saves the connection data so that it does not need to be entered again when the device is switched on again.
NOTE!The Wi-Fi speaker also works as a Wi-Fi router. Therefore, you should protect the speaker network with a password (at least 8 characters) after successful connection to your network.

9. Playing back musicYou can use your Wi-Fi speaker to play music from the network, play music from a device registered via Wi-Fi (direct mode) or play stereo signals from an externally connected device.The following section describes the operating modes on the Wi-Fi speaker and the different audio sources.
9.1. Establishing a direct Wi-Fi connection via MEDION SPEAKER
If it is not possible to establish a network connection via WPS, use the MEDION SPEAKER
app on your smartphone or tablet to establish a connection with the Wi-Fi speaker. Switch the Wi-Fi speaker on. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device. Select the suggested audio system “MD43631-XXXX” and tap on connect. Now press the “Back- key” on your smartphone. Start the MEDION SPEAKER app.
The MEDION SPEAKER app now connects your mobile device to the Wi-Fi speaker. As soon as the connection is operational, the app switches automatically to the source directory.As soon as the device setup and thus the Wi-Fi speaker’s connection to the Internet has been successfully completed, the operating LED lights up permanently in white.

9.2. Assigning a Wi-Fi passwordAssign a password for the Wi-Fi network for the Wi-Fi speaker to protect the Wi-Fi network for the Wi-Fi speaker against unauthorised access.Proceed as follows:
Start the MEDION SPEAKER app. Open the settings ( ) for the Wi-Fi speaker whose password you want to change. Now open SPEAKER INFO. Open the option DEVICE PASSWORD. Activate WPA PSK as the security setting. Now enter your desired password (at least 8 characters).

9.3. Listening to music via Spotify®You can play back audio files from the music streaming service Spotify® via the Wi-Fi speaker. The prerequisite is that you have the premium version of the Spotify app installed on your smartphone or tablet PC and the Wi-Fi speaker and the device with the Spotify app are registered on the same network.The Spotify® software is subject to third party licences found here: www.spotify.com/connect/third-party-licenses.
9.4. Installing Spotify Open Google Play or the Apple App Store and search for the term Spotify. Install the Spotify app on your smartphone or tablet PC. Follow the installation
instructions on the screen. Subscribe to a premium account from Spotify®.
NOTE!In order to be able to install the Spotify application, there must be an Internet connection.The premium version of the Spotify app is subject to a fee.You can find information about Spotify® software licences atwww.spotify.com/connect/third-party-licenses.

10. Playing back music via the MEDION SPEAKER app Switch the Wi-Fi speaker on.
As soon as the operating LED and the LED ring light up white, the Wi-Fi speaker is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Start the MEDION SPEAKER app.The app starts on the main screen where you can open playlists, skip forwards and backwards through tracks, change the volume or select favourites.
Open the device list by swiping your finger from right to left on the main screen of the app.
All of the registered Wi-Fi speakers will now be displayed here. In order to add a Wi-Fi speaker to a group, you need to tap on the corresponding Wi-Fi
speaker and simply “pull” it onto another desired Wi-Fi speaker.This enables you to play music from all of the Wi-Fi speakers “allocated” to this group at the same time.
NOTE!At least 2 speakers are necessary to set up a group.
In order to delete a Wi-Fi speaker from a group, simply “pull” the desired Wi-Fi speaker out of the group.
You can now play different music via each individual Wi-Fi speaker.

11. Playing back music via Bluetooth®
Press the button to switch the Wi-Fi speaker into Bluetooth mode.The operating LED starts to flash in blue.
Connect the smart device via Bluetooth with the Bluetooth device “MD43631”.The operating LED starts to light up in blue as soon as the Wi-Fi speaker has been connected to the smartphone. You can now play music via the audio player on your device.
12. Playback from an external audio device Connect a 3.5 mm stereo jack to the AUX-IN socket to play back sound output from other
audio devices via the Wi-Fi speaker.
Press the button repeatedly to switch the Wi-Fi speaker into AUX mode.The Wi-Fi speaker switches to AUX-IN mode and the operating LED lights up green.
To switch back to the previous Wi-Fi mode (network or Bluetooth), press the button repeatedly.

13. Resetting the device in case of malfunction
13.1. Resetting the device to factory settings Switch the Wi-Fi speaker on. Start the MEDION SPEAKER app. Open the device list by swiping your finger from right to left on the main screen of the
app. Now tap on the setting ( ) for the desired Wi-Fi speaker. Now tap on SPEAKER INFO. Now tap on RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS. Now tap on PLEASE CONFIRM.
14. Alexa functionsAlexa is a voice assistant that provides you with information, news, weather and more acoustically on request.
Launch Alexa in Wi-Fi mode by saying “ALEXA”.The LED ring lights up blue and Alexa is activated.
Press the button to activate Alexa without “speaking”.
Press the button to switch the Alexa microphone to “Mute”.

NOTE!The Alexa voice assistant can only be operated in Wi-Fi mode when connected to an Amazon Prime account.

Detailed instructions on the operation of the Alexa function and the options for installing other additional functions (so-called skills) can be found in the Amazon Alexa app.You can install this app on your tablet PC/smartphone via the Playstore (Android) or AppStore (Apple).
14.1. Alexa settings Start the MEDION SPEAKER app. Now tap on the setting ( ). Now tap on ALEXA SETTINGS. Tap on CHOOSE LANGUAGE and select the desired Alexa language. Tap on REQUEST SOUNDS to activate the confirmation tones.

15. Software updateYou can update the software for the Wi-Fi speaker via the app. The app searches to see if a software update is available and then downloads the update onto the Wi-Fi speaker from the Internet.
Switch the Wi-Fi speaker on. Start the MEDION SPEAKER app.
The app automatically checks whether a software update is available for the registered Wi-Fi speaker.If an update is available, the information field NEW appears next to the setting ( ) for the corresponding Wi-Fi speaker.
Open the settings for the Wi-Fi speaker whose software you want to update. Now open SPEAKER INFO. Now tap on FIRMWARE VERSION and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Vous pouvez en outre utiliser cet appareil pour restituer les signaux audio de périphériques externes.N’utilisez cet appareil dans aucun autre but. Faites fonctionner cet appareil uniquement à l’in-térieur de pièces.

Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec l’appareil. Le nettoyage et la maintenance de l’appareil par l’utilisateur ne doivent pas être exécutés par des enfants, sauf si ceux-ci sont âgés de 8 ans et plus et sont surveillés.

3.2. Installer l’appareil en toute sécurité Placez et utilisez tous les composants sur un support stable, plan et
exempt de vibrations afin d’éviter que l’appareil ne tombe. N’exposez pas l’appareil à des chocs ou secousses. Cela risquerait d’en-
dommager l’électronique sensible. Veillez à ce que l’appareil ne soit pas exposé à une source de chaleur di-
recte (p. ex. un radiateur). Aucune source de feu nu (p. ex. des bougies allumées) ne doit se trouver
sur ou à proximité de l’appareil. Ne posez pas d’objets sur les câbles, ils pourraient être endommagés.

Conservez une distance minimale d’environ 10 cm entre les murs et l’ap-pareil ou l’adaptateur secteur (non fourni). Garantissez une aération suffi-sante de l’appareil.
Ne posez aucun récipient contenant du liquide (p. ex. un vase) sur ou à proximité de l’appareil. Le récipient pourrait se renverser et le liquide porter atteinte à la sécurité électrique. Conservez l’appareil à l’abri de l’humidité, des gouttes d’eau et éclaboussures.
Protégez l’appareil des secousses, de la poussière, de la chaleur et du rayonnement direct du soleil afin d’éviter tout dysfonctionnement. L’ap-pareil peut fonctionner à une température de 5 à 35° C.
N’utilisez jamais l’appareil en plein air, des facteurs externes (pluie, neige, etc.) pourraient l’endommager.
Prévoyez au moins un mètre de distance entre l’appareil et les sources hautes fréquences et magnétiques (téléviseur, enceintes, téléphone por-table, etc.) afin d’éviter tout dysfonctionnement. Si des dysfonctionne-ments se produisent, placez l’appareil à un autre endroit.

5. Confi guration réseauLe haut-parleur Wi-Fi se connecte au réseau via Wi-Fi. L’antenne Wi-Fi du haut-parleur capte les signaux du routeur réseau.
5.1. Caractéristiques indispensables du réseauPour que l’appareil puisse accéder aux fichiers musicaux dans le réseau, ce dernier doit avoir les propriétés suivantes :• Le routeur utilisé pour le réseau doit posséder une fonction de serveur DHCP afin qu’il
puisse assigner automatiquement une adresse IP à l’appareil en réseau.Réglez sinon la fonction DHCP sur « Manuel » sur l’interface Web.
• Le partage des fichiers multimédia pour UPNP doit être configuré sur le routeur.
6. Charger la batterie Raccordez le haut-parleur à un adaptateur secteur microUSB externe via la prise DC
IN de l’appareil.Pendant le processus de chargement, la LED de charge est allumée en rouge.Dès que la batterie est complètement chargée, la LED de charge s’éteint.

7. Allumer et éteindre le haut-parleur
7.1. Allumer le haut-parleur Maintenez la touche Standby enfoncée pour allumer le haut-parleur.
REMARQUE !Une fois allumé, le haut-parleur Wi-Fi se connecte automatiquement au réseau Wi-Fi réglé auparavant. Cela peut prendre 1 minute, durant laquelle il n’est pas possible d’utiliser le haut-parleur Wi-Fi !
7.2. Mode Attente Maintenez la touche Standby enfoncée pour mettre le haut-parleur en mode Attente.
8. Première mise en service
8.1. Installer l’application sur un smartphone/une tablette tactile Android/Apple
Pour régler le haut-parleur Wi-Fi, vous devez tout d’abord installer sur votre tablette tactile/smartphone l’application MEDION SPEAKER disponible sur le Playstore (Android) ou l’ AppS-tore (Apple) .

8.2. Établir la connexion à Wi-Fi et Alexa via l’application MEDION SPEAKER
Allumez le haut-parleur Wi-Fi. Dès que la LED de fonctionnement et l’anneau LED sont allumés en blanc, le haut-parleur Wi-Fi est connecté au réseau Wi-Fi.
Connectez votre périphérique mobile à votre réseau Wi-Fi. Démarrez l’application MEDION SPEAKER.
REMARQUE !Si des haut-parleurs Wi-Fi sont déjà connectés dans le réseau Wi-Fi choisi, l’assistant d’installation saute l’installation initiale.
Tapotez sur WI-FI SETUP WIZARD pour connecter le haut-parleur Wi-Fi manuellement à votre réseau Wi-Fi.

Confirmez le message concernant la sélection d’un réseau Wi-Fi de 2,4 GHz en tapotant sur NEXT.
Saisissez ensuite le mot de passe Wi-Fi et confirmez en tapotant sur NEXT.
Maintenez la touche du haut-parleur Wi-Fi enfoncée et tapotez sur NEXT.Le haut-parleur est alors connecté au réseau Wi-Fi sélectionné. Cela peut prendre 2 minutes.
Confirmez la connexion réussie au réseau Wi-Fi en tapotant sur NEXT lorsque cela vous est demandé.
Sélectionnez un nom d’appareil souhaité et confirmez-le en tapotant sur >. Tapotez ensuite sur SIGN IN WITH AMAZON si vous voulez utiliser la fonction Alexa. Connectez-vous sur votre compte Amazon Prime. Une fois que vous êtes connecté, sélectionnez l’Alexa souhaitée et/ou la langue du sys-
tème puis suivez les autres instructions.
REMARQUE !Votre périphérique mobile (smartphone ou tablette tactile) doit être connec-té dans le réseau Wi-Fi du routeur. Pour pouvoir utiliser pleinement toutes les fon-ctions d’Alexa, connectez-vous via l’application Amazon Alexa avec vos données d’utilisateur.

8.3. Établir la connexion Wi-Fi via WPSSi votre routeur possède une touche WPS , vous pouvez connecter très facilement le haut-parleur au réseau avec cette touche :
Allumez le haut-parleur Wi-Fi. Appuyez sur la touche WPS du routeur Wi-Fi.
Appuyez sur la touche du haut-parleur Wi-Fi pendant env. 3 secondes jusqu’à ce qu’un signal sonore retentisse.
REMARQUE !Tenez ici également compte du mode d’emploi du routeur.
L’appareil établit alors une connexion au réseau. Pendant ce temps, la LED de fonctionne-ment clignote. Une fois la connexion réussie, la LED de fonctionnement et l’anneau LED sont allumés en permanence en blanc. L’appareil peut maintenant restituer des signaux audio du réseau. L’appareil enregistre les données de connexion, de telle sorte que vous n’aurez plus besoin de les ressaisir lors de la prochaine connexion.
REMARQUE !Le haut-parleur Wi-Fi travaille aussi comme routeur Wi-Fi. Une fois le haut-parleur connecté à votre réseau, nous vous conseillons donc de protéger ce dernier avec un mot de passe (d’au moins 8 caractères).

9. Écouter de la musiqueVous pouvez restituer sur votre haut-parleur Wi-Fi de la musique disponible en réseau ou sur un périphérique connecté via Wi-Fi (mode Direct) ainsi que le signal stéréo d’un périphérique externe raccordé.Les modes de fonctionnement du haut-parleur Wi-Fi avec les différentes sources audio sont décrits ci-après.
9.1. Établir la connexion directe à Wi-Fi via MEDION SPEAKERS’il n’est pas possible d’établir une connexion au réseau via WPS, utilisez l’application ME-
DION SPEAKER de votre smartphone ou tablette pour établir une connexion au haut-parleur Wi-Fi.
Allumez le haut-parleur Wi-Fi. Ouvrez les paramètres Wi-Fi de votre périphérique mobile. Sélectionnez le système audio proposé « MD43631-XXXX » et tapotez sur « Connecter ». Appuyez maintenant sur la « Back-key » de votre smartphone. Démarrez l’application MEDION SPEAKER.
L’application MEDION SPEAKER connecte alors votre périphérique mobile au haut-parleur Wi-Fi. Dès que la connexion est opérationnelle, l’application passe automatiquement à la liste des sources.

Dès que la configuration du périphérique – et donc aussi la connexion du haut-parleur Wi-Fi à Internet – a réussi, la LED de fonctionnement est allumée en blanc en permanence.
9.2. Attribuer un mot de passe Wi-FiAttribuez un mot de passe au réseau Wi-Fi du haut-parleur Wi-Fi pour protéger le réseau de tout accès illicite.Procédez pour cela comme suit :
Démarrez l’application MEDION SPEAKER. Ouvrez les paramètres ( ) du haut-parleur Wi-Fi dont vous voulez modifier le mot de
passe. Ouvrez maintenant SPEAKER INFO. Ouvrez l’option DEVICE PASSWORD. Activez WPA PSK comme paramètre de sécurité. Puis saisissez un mot de passe de votre choix (d’au moins 8 caractères).
REMARQUE !Notez le nouveau mot de passe !

9.3. Écouter de la musique via Spotify®Vous pouvez écouter sur le haut-parleur Wi-Fi des données audio du service de streaming musical Spotify®. À condition que vous ayez installé sur votre smartphone ou tablette tactile la version premium de l’application Spotify et que le haut-parleur Wi-Fi et l’appareil avec l’application Spotify soient connectés au même ré-seau.Le logiciel Spotify® est soumis à des licences de tiers que vous trouverez ici : www.spotify.com/connect/third-party-licenses.
9.4. Installer Spotify Ouvrez Google Play ou l’Apple App Store et recherchez le mot-clé Spotify. Installez l’application Spotify sur votre smartphone ou tablette tactile. Suivez à cette oc-
casion les instructions d’installation sur l’écran. Abonnez-vous au compte premium de Spotify®.
REMARQUE !L’installation de l’application Spotify nécessite une connexion Internet.La version premium de l’application Spotify est payante.Vous trouverez des informations sur les licences logicielles de Spotify® surwww.spotify.com/connect/third-party-licenses.

10. Écoute de musique via l’application MEDION SPEAKER
Allumez le haut-parleur Wi-Fi. Dès que la LED de fonctionnement et l’anneau LED sont allumés en blanc, le haut-parleur Wi-Fi est connecté au réseau Wi-Fi.
Démarrez l’application MEDION SPEAKER.L’application démarre dans l’écran principal, où vous pouvez ouvrir des listes de lecture, effec-tuer des sauts de titre en avant ou en arrière, modifier le volume ou choisir des favoris.
Ouvrez la liste des périphériques en glissant votre doigt de droite à gauche sur l’écran principal de l’application.
Tous les haut-parleurs Wi-Fi connectés sont alors affichés. Pour ajouter un haut-parleur Wi-Fi à un groupe, vous devez appuyer sur le haut-parleur
Wi-Fi correspondant et simplement le « tirer » sur un autre haut-parleur Wi-Fi de votre choix.
Vous pouvez ainsi écouter de la musique simultanément via chaque haut-parleur Wi-Fi « dé-posé » dans le groupe.
REMARQUE !Pour former un groupe, au moins 2 haut-parleurs sont nécessaires.

Pour supprimer un haut-parleur Wi-Fi d’un groupe, il suffit de le « tirer » en dehors du groupe.
Vous pouvez maintenant écouter une autre musique sur chaque haut-parleur Wi-Fi.
11. Écoute de musique via Bluetooth®
Appuyez sur la touche pour commuter le haut-parleur Wi-Fi en mode Bluetooth.La LED de fonctionnement clignote en bleu.
Connectez le périphérique mobile via Bluetooth au périphérique Bluetooth « MD43631 ».La LED de fonctionnement s’allume en bleu dès que le haut-parleur Wi-Fi est connecté au smartphone. Vous pouvez maintenant écouter votre musique avec le lecteur audio de votre périphérique.
12. Écoute de musique depuis un périphérique audio externe
Branchez un câble jack stéréo de 3,5 mm sur la prise AUX-IN pour restituer le son d’autres périphériques audio avec le haut-parleur Wi-Fi.
Appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche pour commuter le haut-parleur Wi-Fi en mode AUX.

Le haut-parleur Wi-Fi passe automatiquement en mode AUX IN et la LED de fonctionnement est allumée en vert.
Pour repasser au mode Wi-Fi précédemment réglé (mode Réseau ou Bluetooth), appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche .
13. Réinitialisation en cas de dysfonctionnement
13.1. Restaurer les réglages d’usine sur le haut-parleur Allumez le haut-parleur Wi-Fi. Démarrez l’application MEDION SPEAKER. Ouvrez la liste des périphériques en glissant votre doigt de droite à gauche sur l’écran
principal de l’application. Tapotez sur le paramètre ( ) du haut-parleur Wi-Fi souhaité. Tapotez ensuite sur SPEAKER INFO. Puis tapotez sur RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS. Tapotez enfin sur PLEASE CONFIRM.

14. Fonctions d’AlexaAlexa est une assistante vocale qui, sur demande, vous annonce à voix haute les derniers titres de l’actualité, les prévisions météo et bien d’autres informations.
Pour interroger Alexa en mode Wi-Fi, dites « ALEXA ».L’anneau LED s’allume en bleu et Alexa est activée.
Appuyez sur la touche pour activer Alexa sans « commande de la voix ».
Appuyez sur la touche pour désactiver le son des microphones d’Alexa.
REMARQUE !L’assistante vocale Alexa ne peut fonctionner en mode Wi-Fi qu’avec un compte Amazon Prime connecté.
Vous trouverez une description plus précise de l’application et de ses fonctions à la rubrique « Aide » de l’application MEDION SPEAKER.
Un mode d’emploi détaillé de la fonction Alexa et la possibilité d’installer d’autres fonctions supplémentaires (ce que l’on appelle les skills) sont en outre disponibles dans l’application Amazon Alexa.Vous pouvez installer cette application sur votre tablette tactile/smartphone depuis le Playstore (Android) ou l’ AppStore (Apple).

14.1. Paramètres Alexa Démarrez l’application MEDION SPEAKER. Tapotez ensuite sur le paramètre ( ). Puis tapotez sur ALEXA SETTINGS. Tapotez sur CHOOSE LANGUAGE et sélectionnez la langue souhaitée pour Alexa. Tapotez sur REQUEST SOUNDS pour activer les bips sonores de confirmation.
15. Actualisation logicielleVous pouvez procéder à l’actualisation logicielle du haut-parleur Wi-Fi via l’application. L’ap-plication cherche si une actualisation logicielle est disponible et la télécharge depuis Internet sur le haut-parleur Wi-Fi.
Allumez le haut-parleur Wi-Fi. Démarrez l’application MEDION SPEAKER.
L’application vérifie automatiquement si une actualisation logicielle est disponible pour les haut-parleurs Wi-Fi connectés.Si c’est le cas, vous voyez apparaître à côté du paramètre ( ) du haut-parleur Wi-Fi corres-pondant le champ d’information NEW .

3. Indicazioni di sicurezza
3.1. Persone non autorizzateTenere il dispositivo e gli accessori fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
Il dispositivo può essere utilizzato da bambini dagli 8 anni in su e da persone con capacità fisiche, sensoriali o intellettive ridotte o con carenza di esperienza e/o di conoscenze, a condizione che siano sorvegliati o istruiti circa l’utilizzo sicuro del dispositivo e siano consapevoli dei pericoli che ne derivano. I bambini non devono giocare con il dispositivo. La pulizia e la manutenzione spettante all’utilizzatore non devono essere eseguite da bambini, a meno che questi abbiano più di 8 anni e siano sorvegliati.

3.2. Posizionamento sicuro del dispositivo Collocare e utilizzare tutti i componenti su una base piana, stabile e priva
di vibrazioni, per evitare la caduta del dispositivo. Non sottoporre il dispositivo a urti e vibrazioni, in quanto potrebbero
danneggiare i delicati circuiti elettronici. Accertarsi che il dispositivo non sia esposto a fonti dirette di calore (ad es.
termosifoni). Non devono essere presenti fiamme libere (ad es. candele accese) sul
dispositivo o nelle sue vicinanze. Non appoggiare alcun oggetto sui cavi, in quanto potrebbero
danneggiarsi.

Mantenere una distanza minima di ca. 10 cm tra le pareti e il dispositivo o l’alimentatore (non fornito in dotazione). Garantire un’aerazione sufficiente.
Non collocare recipienti pieni di liquido, come ad esempio vasi, sul dispositivo o nelle sue immediate vicinanze. Il recipiente potrebbe rovesciarsi e i liquidi pregiudicherebbero la sicurezza elettrica. Tenere il dispositivo lontano da umidità, spruzzi e gocce d’acqua.
Evitare le vibrazioni, la polvere, il calore e i raggi solari diretti per prevenire malfunzionamenti. La temperatura di funzionamento è compresa tra 5 e 35 °C.
Non utilizzare il dispositivo all’aperto, in quanto agenti esterni come pioggia, neve, ecc. potrebbero danneggiarlo.
Mantenere una distanza di almeno un metro dalle fonti di disturbo ad alta frequenza e magnetiche (televisori, diffusori acustici, cellulari, ecc.), per evitare malfunzionamenti. Nel caso in cui si verificassero malfunzionamenti, posizionare il dispositivo in un altro luogo.

5. Confi gurazione di reteL’altoparlante WLAN viene collegato alla rete tramite WLAN. L’antenna WiFi dell’altoparlante riceve i segnali del router di rete.
5.1. Caratteristiche necessarie per la reteAffinché il dispositivo possa accedere a file musicali nella rete, è necessario che la rete abbia le seguenti caratteristiche:• Il router installato per la rete deve avere la funzione di server DHCP, in modo che possa
assegnare automaticamente un indirizzo IP al dispositivo collegato in rete.In caso contrario, nell’interfaccia web impostare la funzione DHCP a manuale.
• La condivisione multimediale per UPNP deve essere configurata nel router.
6. Caricare la batteria Collegare l’altoparlante al dispositivo mediante la presa DC IN utilizzando un cavo di
alimentazione esterno microUSB.Il LED di ricarica si illumina di rosso durante la ricarica.Il LED di ricarica si spegne quando la batteria è completamente carica.

7. Accendere e spegnere l’altoparlante
7.1. Accendere l’altoparlante Tenere premuto il tasto Standby per accendere l’altoparlante.
AVVISO!Dopo l’accensione l’altoparlante WLAN si collega automaticamente alla WLAN precedentemente impostata. Questa procedura può durare fino a 1 minuto. In questo intervallo di tempo non è possibile utilizzare l’altoparlante WLAN!
7.2. Modalità Standby Tenere premuto il tasto Standby per mettere l’altoparlante in modalità Standby.
8. Prima messa in funzione
8.1. Installare l’app su uno smartphone/tablet PC Android/Apple
Per configurare l’altoparlante WLAN, è necessario innanzi tutto installare sul proprio tablet PC/smartphone l’ app MEDION SPEAKER disponibile su Playstore (Android) o su AppStore (Apple).

8.2. Instaurare la connessione WLAN e Alexa tramite l’app MEDION SPEAKER
Accendere l’altoparlante WLAN. Quando il LED di funzionamento e l’anello LED sono illuminati di bianco, l’altoparlante WLAN è collegato alla WLAN.
Collegare il proprio dispositivo mobile alla rete WLAN. Avviare l’app MEDION SPEAKER.
AVVISO!Nel caso in cui fossero registrati già altri altoparlanti WLAN nella rete selezionata, la procedura di configurazione guidata salterà la prima configurazione.
Premere WI-FI SETUP WIZARD per registrare l’altoparlante WLAN manualmente nella propria WLAN.
Confermare l’avviso relativo alla selezione di una WLAN da 2,4 GHz premendo NEXT. Inserire la password WLAN e confermare premendo NEXT.

Tenere premuto il tasto sull’altoparlante WLAN e premere NEXT.L’altoparlante WLAN verrà collegato alla WLAN selezionata. Questa procedura può durare fino a 2 minuti.
Confermare l’avvenuta connessione WLAN premendo NEXT quando viene richiesto. Selezionare il nome desiderato per il dispositivo e confermarlo premendo >. Premere SIGN IN WITH AMAZON se si desidera utilizzare la funzione Alexa. Effettuare l’accesso al proprio account Amazon Prime. Una volta completata la registrazione, selezionare Alexa o la lingua di sistema desiderate
e seguire le ulteriori istruzioni.
AVVISO!Il dispositivo mobile (smartphone o tablet PC) deve essere registrato nella rete WLAN del router. Per poter utilizzare le piene funzionalità di Alexa, effettuare l’accesso tramite l’app Amazon Alexa con i propri dati utente.
8.3. Instaurare la connessione WLAN tramite WPSSe il router dispone di un tasto WPS è possibile instaurare la connessione dell’altoparlante alla rete semplicemente tramite questo tasto:
Accendere l’altoparlante WLAN. Premere il tasto WPS del router WLAN.

Premere il tasto dell’altoparlante WLAN per ca. 3 secondi fino a quando si sente un segnale acustico.
AVVISO!Seguire anche le istruzioni per l’uso del router.
A questo punto il dispositivo si collegherà alla rete. Nel frattempo il LED di funzionamento lampeggia. Una volta completata la connessione, il LED di funzionamento e l’anello LED sono illuminati di bianco in modo permanente.Ora il dispositivo può riprodurre i segnali audio provenienti dalla rete.Il dispositivo memorizza i dati di connessione, pertanto non sarà necessario inserirli a ogni nuova accensione.
AVVISO!L’altoparlante WLAN funziona anche come router WLAN. Una volta completata la connessione alla propria rete, si dovrebbe quindi proteggere la rete dell’altoparlante con una password (almeno 8 caratteri).

9. Riprodurre musicaSull’altoparlante WLAN è possibile riprodurre musica dalla rete, musica da un dispositivo registrato tramite WLAN (modalità diretta) oppure il segnale stereo di un dispositivo collegato.Di seguito sono descritte le modalità di funzionamento dell’altoparlante WLAN con le diverse sorgenti audio.
9.1. Instaurare una connessione diretta WLAN tramite MEDION SPEAKER
Se non si ha la possibilità di attivare una connessione di rete tramite WPS, utilizzare l’app MEDION SPEAKER del proprio smartphone o tablet per instaurare una connessione con l’altoparlante WLAN.
Accendere l’altoparlante WLAN. Aprire le impostazioni WLAN del proprio dispositivo mobile. Selezionare il sistema audio proposto “MD43631-XXXX” e premere Connetti. Premere quindi il “Back- key” del proprio smartphone. Avviare l’app MEDION SPEAKER.
L’app MEDION SPEAKER collegherà il dispositivo mobile all’altoparlante WLAN. Quando la connessione è pronta per l’uso, l’app passa automaticamente alla cartella sorgente.

Una volta completata la configurazione del dispositivo e di conseguenza il collegamento dell’altoparlante WLAN a Internet, il LED di funzionamento si illumina di bianco in modo permanente.
9.2. Defi nire una passwordAssegnare una password alla rete WLAN dell’altoparlante WLAN per proteggerla da accessi non autorizzati.Procedere come segue:
Avviare l’app MEDION SPEAKER. Aprire le impostazioni ( ) dell’altoparlante WLAN di cui si desidera modificare la
password. Aprire quindi le SPEAKER INFO. Aprire la voce DEVICE PASSWORD. Attivare WPA PSK come impostazione di sicurezza. Inserire una password a piacere (almeno 8 caratteri).

9.3. Ascoltare la musica tramite Spotify®Tramite l’altoparlante WLAN si possono riprodurre dati audio dal servizio di streaming musicale Spotify®. A tale scopo è indispensabile che sul proprio smartphone o tablet PC sia installata la versione Premium dell’app Spotify e che l’altoparlante WLAN e il dispositivo con l’app Spotify abbiano effettuato l’accesso alla stessa rete.Il software Spotify® è soggetto a licenze di terze parti disponibili qui: www.spotify.com/connect/third-party-licenses.
9.4. Installare Spotify Aprire Google Play o Apple App Store e cercare la parola Spotify. Installare l’app Spotify sul proprio smartphone o tablet PC seguendo le istruzioni
visualizzate. Abbonarsi all’account Premium di Spotify®.

10. Riproduzione tramite l’app MEDION SPEAKER Accendere l’altoparlante WLAN.
Quando il LED di funzionamento e l’anello LED sono illuminati di bianco, l’altoparlante WLAN è collegato alla WLAN.
Avviare l’app MEDION SPEAKER.L’app si avvia con la schermata principale nella quale si possono aprire playlist, passare al brano precedente o successivo, regolare il volume o selezionare preferiti.
Aprire l’elenco dei dispositivi facendo scorrere il dito da destra a sinistra sulla schermata principale dell’app.
Verranno visualizzati tutti gli altoparlanti WLAN registrati. Per aggiungere un altoparlante WLAN a un gruppo è necessario selezionare l’altoparlante
WLAN corrispondente e semplicemente “trascinarlo” su un altro altoparlante WLAN.In questo modo si può riprodurre la musica simultaneamente attraverso ogni altoparlante WLAN inserito nel gruppo.
AVVISO!Per creare un gruppo sono necessari almeno 2 altoparlanti.
Per rimuovere un altoparlante WLAN da un gruppo è sufficiente “trascinarlo” al di fuori del gruppo.
Ora si può riprodurre una musica diversa attraverso ogni singolo altoparlante WLAN.

11. Riproduzione tramite Bluetooth®
Premere il tasto per attivare la modalità Bluetooth sull’altoparlante WLAN.Il LED di funzionamento inizia a lampeggiare.
Collegare il dispositivo smart tramite Bluetooth al dispositivo Bluetooth “MD43631”.Il LED di funzionamento si illumina di blu quando l’altoparlante WLAN è collegato allo smartphone. A questo punto è possibile riprodurre la musica con il player audio del proprio dispositivo.
12. Riproduzione da un dispositivo audio esterno Per riprodurre il suono di altri dispositivi audio con l’altoparlante WLAN, collegare un cavo
jack stereo da 3,5 mm alla presa AUX-IN.
Premere ripetutamente il tasto per attivare la modalità AUX sull’altoparlante WLAN.L’altoparlante WLAN passa alla modalità AUX-IN e il LED di funzionamento si illumina di verde.
Per tornare alla modalità WLAN precedentemente impostata (rete o Bluetooth), premere ripetutamente il tasto .

2. Gebruik voor het beoogde doelHet apparaat dient voor het afspelen van audiobestanden die via een WLAN-netwerk worden ontvangen. Bovendien kunt u met het apparaat audiosignalen van externe apparaten weergeven.Gebruik het apparaat niet voor andere doeleinden. Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend binnenshuis.

3. Veiligheidsinstructies
3.1. Onbevoegde personenBerg het apparaat en de accessoires buiten bereik van kinderen op.
Dit apparaat kan gebruikt worden door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en door personen met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of met onvoldoende ervaring en/of kennis, mits deze personen onder toezicht staan of zijn geïnstrueerd in het gebruik van het apparaat zodat zij de daarmee samenhangende gevaren begrijpen. Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen. Reiniging en onderhoud door de gebruiker mogen niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen tenzij deze 8 jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht staan;
Kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar moeten uit de buurt van het apparaat en het netsnoer worden gehouden.

GEVAAR!
Verstikkingsgevaar!
Verpakkingsfolie kan worden ingeslikt of verkeerd worden gebruikt. Hierdoor bestaat gevaar voor verstikking!
Houd het verpakkingsmateriaal, zoals folie of plastic zakken, uit de buurt van kinderen.
3.2. Het apparaat veilig opstellen Plaats en gebruik alle onderdelen op een stabiele, vlakke en trillingsvrije
ondergrond zodat het apparaat niet kan vallen. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan schokken. De gevoelige elektronica kan
door schokken worden beschadigd. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan directe warmtebronnen (bv.
verwarmingsradiatoren). Zet geen voorwerpen met open vuur (bv. brandende kaarsen) op of in de
buurt van het apparaat. Plaats geen voorwerpen op kabels omdat deze daardoor beschadigd
kunnen raken.

Laat ten minste 10 cm vrije ruimte tussen muren en het apparaat resp. de netadapter (niet meegeleverd). Zorg voor voldoende ventilatie.
Plaats geen met vloeistof gevulde voorwerpen zoals bijvoorbeeld vazen op het apparaat of in de directe omgeving. Deze voorwerpen kunnen omvallen, waarbij de vloeistof de elektrische veiligheid kan aantasten. Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van vocht, drup- of spatwater.
Vermijd schokken, stof, hitte en rechtstreeks zonlicht om storingen in de werking te voorkomen. De bedrijfstemperatuur ligt tussen 5 en 35 °C.
Gebruik het apparaat niet buitenshuis. Het apparaat kan door invloeden van buitenaf, zoals regen, sneeuw etc. beschadigd raken.
Houd minstens één meter afstand aan tot hoogfrequente en magnetische storingsbronnen (televisietoestel, luidsprekerboxen, mobiele telefoon etc.) om storingen in de werking te voorkomen. Verplaats het apparaat wanneer er storingen optreden.
Bij grote schommelingen in temperatuur of luchtvochtigheid kan er door condensatie vochtvorming optreden die kortsluiting kan veroorzaken.

3.3. Nooit zelf repareren Gebruik het apparaat niet als het apparaat zelf of de aansluitsnoeren
zichtbaar beschadigd zijn of als het apparaat is gevallen.

5. Netwerkconfi guratieDe WLAN-luidspreker wordt via WLAN met het netwerk verbonden. De wifi-antenne van de luidspreker ontvangt de signalen van de netwerkrouter.
5.1. Vereiste netwerkeigenschappenHet netwerk moet over de volgende eigenschappen beschikken om het apparaat toegang te geven tot de muziekbestanden in het netwerk:• De voor het netwerk gebruikte router moet voorzien zijn van een DHCP-serverfunctie
zodat de computer of een ander apparaat in het netwerk automatisch een IP-adres kan worden toegewezen.Stel de DHCP-functie anders in de webinterface in op handmatig.
• De mediavrijgave voor UPNP moet zijn geconfigureerd in de router.
6. Accu opladen Verbind de luidspreker via de DC IN -aansluiting op het apparaat met een externe
microUSB-netadapter.De oplaad-led licht tijdens het opladen rood op.De oplaad-led gaat uit als de accu volledig is opgeladen.

7. Luidspreker in- en uitschakelen
7.1. Luidspreker inschakelen Houd de Stand-by toets ingedrukt om de luidspreker in te schakelen.
OPMERKING!De WLAN-luidspreker brengt na inschakelen automatisch een verbinding tot stand met het vooraf ingestelde WLAN. Dit kan tot 1 minuut in beslag nemen. Gedurende deze tijd kan de WLAN-luidspreker niet worden bediend!
7.2. Actieve modus Houd de Stand-by toets ingedrukt om de luidspreker in de actieve modus te zetten.
8. Eerste ingebruikname
8.1. App op een Android/Apple-smartphone/tablet-pc installeren
Als u de WLAN-luidspreker wilt instellen, moet u eerst via de Playstore (Android) resp. AppStore (Apple) de beschikbaar gestelde app MEDION SPEAKER op uw tablet-pc/smartphone installeren.

8.2. WLAN- en Alexa-verbinding tot stand brengen via de MEDION SPEAKER app
Schakel de WLAN-luidspreker in. Zodra de bedrijfs-led en de led-ring wit oplichten, is de WLAN-luidspreker met het WLAN verbonden.
Verbind uw mobiele apparaat met uw WLAN-netwerk. Start de MEDION SPEAKER app.
OPMERKING!Als al WLAN-luidsprekers zijn aangemeld in het gekozen WLAN, slaat de installatiewizard de begininstallatie over.
Tik op WI-FI SETUP WIZARD om de WLAN-luidspreker handmatig in uw WLAN aan te melden.
Bevestig de instructie voor selectie van een 2,4 GHz WLAN door op NEXT te tikken.

Voer nu het WLAN-wachtwoord in en bevestig door op NEXT te tikken.
Druk op de -toets op de WLAN-luidspreker en houd deze ingedrukt. Tik daarbij op NEXT.
De WLAN-luidspreker wordt nu verbonden met het geselecteerde WLAN. Dit kan tot 2 minuten in beslag nemen.
Bevestig de geslaagde WLAN-verbinding door op NEXT te tikken nadat u hierom bent gevraagd.
Selecteer nu de gewenste apparaatnaam en bevestig deze door op > te tikken. Tik nu op SIGN IN WITH AMAZON als u gebruik wilt maken van de Alexa-functie. Meld u aan via uw Amazon Prime-account. Selecteer nu, nadat de aanmelding is geslaagd, de gewenste Alexa- resp. systeemtaal en
volg de verdere aanwijzingen.
OPMERKING!Uw mobiele apparaat (smartphone of tablet-pc) moet bij het WLAN netwerk van de router zijn aangemeld. Als u optimaal gebruik wilt maken van de Alexa-functionaliteit, meldt u zich via de Amazon Alexa-app aan met uw gebruikersgegevens.

8.3. WLAN-verbinding tot stand brengen via WPSAls uw router over een WPS -toets beschikt, kunt u met deze toets eenvoudig een verbinding tussen luidspreker en netwerk tot stand brengen:
Schakel de WLAN-luidspreker in. Druk op de WPS -toets van de WLAN-router.
Houd de -toets van de WLAN-luidspreker ca. 3 seconden ingedrukt totdat er een geluidssignaal klinkt.
OPMERKING!Neem hierbij ook de handleiding van de router in acht.
Het apparaat brengt nu de verbinding met het netwerk tot stand. Ondertussen knippert de bedrijfs-led. Nadat de verbinding tot stand is gebracht, branden de bedrijfs-led en de led-ring wit. Het apparaat kan nu audiosignalen vanuit het netwerk weergeven.Het apparaat slaat de verbindingsgegevens op zodat deze bij een nieuwe verbinding niet opnieuw ingevoerd hoeft te worden.
OPMERKING!De WLAN-luidspreker werkt ook als WLAN-router. Daarom is het verstandig om het netwerk van de luidspreker met een wachtwoord (minimaal 8 tekens) te beveiligen nadat de verbinding met uw netwerk is geslaagd.

9. Muziek weergevenU kunt op uw WLAN-luidspreker muziek vanuit het netwerk, muziek van een via WLAN aangemeld apparaat (directe modus) of het stereosignaal van een extern aangesloten apparaat weergeven.Onderstaand worden de bedrijfsmodi van de WLAN-luidspreker bij de verschillende audiobronnen beschreven.
9.1. Directe WLAN-verbinding tot stand brengen via MEDION SPEAKER
Als de netwerkverbinding niet via WPS tot stand kan worden gebracht, gebruikt u de MEDION SPEAKER app van uw smartphone of tablet om een verbinding met de WLAN-luidspreker tot stand te brengen.
Schakel de WLAN-luidspreker in. Open de WLAN-instellingen van uw mobiele apparaat. Selecteer het voorgestelde audiosysteem “MD43631-XXXX” en tik op Verbinden. Druk nu op de “Terug-toets” van uw smartphone. Start de MEDION SPEAKER app.
De MEDION SPEAKER app verbindt nu uw mobiel apparaat met de WLAN-luidspreker. Zodra de verbinding gereed is voor gebruik, schakelt de app automatisch over naar de inhoudsopgave.

Zodra de instelling van het apparaat en daarmee de verbinding van de WLAN-luidspreker met het internet met succes is voltooid, brandt de bedrijfs-led wit.
9.2. WLAN-wachtwoord toekennenStel een wachtwoord in op het WLAN van de WLAN-luidspreker om het WLAN van de WLAN-luidspreker te beschermen tegen onbevoegde toegang.Ga hiervoor als volgt te werk:
Start de MEDION SPEAKER app. Open de instellingen ( ) van de WLAN-luidspreker waarvan u het wachtwoord wilt
wijzigen. Open nu SPEAKER INFO. Open de optie DEVICE PASSWORD. Activeer WPA PSK als beveiligingsinstelling. Voer nu een door u gekozen wachtwoord (minimaal 8 tekens) in.

9.3. Muziek beluisteren via Spotify®U kunt audiogegevens via Spotify®, een service voor muziekstreaming, afspelen via de WLAN-luidspreker. Voorwaarde hiervoor is dat u op uw smartphone of tablet de premium-versie van de Spotify-app geïnstalleerd heeft en dat de WLAN-luidspreker en het apparaat met de Spotify-app op hetzelfde netwerk zijn aangemeld.Op de Spotify®-software zijn licenties van derden van toepassing. Deze kunt u hier vinden: www.spotify.com/connect/third-party-licenses.
9.4. Spotify installeren Open Google Play of de Apple App Store en zoek naar de term Spotify. Installeer de Spotify-app op uw smartphone of tablet. Volg hierbij de aanwijzingen voor
installatie op het beeldscherm. Neem een abonnement op een premium-account van Spotify®.

10. Weergave via MEDION SPEAKER app Schakel de WLAN-luidspreker in.
Zodra de bedrijfs-led en de led-ring wit oplichten, is de WLAN-luidspreker met het WLAN verbonden.
Start de MEDION SPEAKER app.De app wordt geopend in het hoofdvenster. Hier kunt u afspeellijsten openen, vooruit- en terugspringen tussen titels, het volume wijzigen of favorieten selecteren.
Op de apparatenlijst door met uw vinger in het hoofdvenster van de app van rechts naar links te vegen.
Hier worden nu alle aangemelde WLAN-luidsprekers weergegeven. Als u een WLAN-luidspreker aan een groep wilt toevoegen, moet u de desbetreffende
WLAN-luidspreker aantikken en eenvoudig naar een andere gewenste WLAN-luidspreker “slepen”.
U kunt de muziek gelijktijdig afspelen via elke in de groep “opgeslagen” WLAN-luidspreker.
OPMERKING!U heeft minimaal 2 luidsprekers nodig om een groep te kunnen maken.
Als u een WLAN-luidspreker uit een groep wilt verwijderen, “sleept” u eenvoudig de gewenste WLAN-luidspreker uit de groep.
U kunt nu op elke afzonderlijke WLAN-luidspreker andere muziek afspelen.

11. Weergave via Bluetooth®
Druk op de -toets om de WLAN-luidspreker in de Bluetooth-modus te zetten.De bedrijfs-led begint blauw te knipperen.
Verbind het smartapparaat via Bluetooth met het Bluetooth-apparaat “MD43631”.De bedrijfs-led gaat nu blauw branden, zodra de WLAN-luidspreker met de smartphone is verbonden. U kunt nu met de audiospeler van uw apparaat uw muziek weergeven.
12. Weergave van een extern audioapparaat Sluit een 3,5 mm stereo aansluitkabel aan op de aansluiting AUX-IN om het geluid van
andere audioapparaten weer te geven via de WLAN-luidspreker.
Druk enkele keren op de -toets om de WLAN-luidspreker in de AUX-modus te zetten.De WLAN-luidspreker schakelt automatisch over naar de AUX-IN-modus en de bedrijfs-led licht groen op.
Als u wilt terugschakelen naar de eerder ingestelde WLAN-modus (netwerk of Bluetooth), drukt u meerdere op de -toets.

13. Resetten bij problemen
13.1. Apparaat terugzetten naar de fabrieksinstellingen Schakel de WLAN-luidspreker in. Start de MEDION SPEAKER app. Op de apparatenlijst door met uw vinger in het hoofdvenster van de app van rechts naar
links te vegen. Tik nu op de instelling ( ) van de gewenste WLAN-luidspreker. Tik nu op SPEAKER INFO. Tik nu op RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS.. Tik nu op PLEASE CONFIRM.
14. Alexa-functiesAlexa is een taalassistent die op verzoek informatie, nieuws, weerbericht en nog veel meer akoestisch kan weergeven.
Spreek Alexa in de WLAN-modus aan met “ALEXA”.De led-ring licht blauw op en Alexa is geactiveerd.
Druk op de toets om Alexa zonder “aanspreken” te activeren.
Druk op de toets om het geluid van de Alexa-microfoon te dempen.

OPMERKING!De Alexa-taalassistent kan alleen in de WLAN-modus met een verbonden Amazon Prime-account worden gebruikt.

Een gedetailleerdere bediening van de Alexa-functie en de mogelijkheid om extra functies (zogenaamde ‘skills’) te installeren is te vinden in de Amazon Alexa-app.Deze kunt u vanuit de Playstore (Android) resp. AppStore (Apple) op uw tablet-pc/smartphone installeren.
14.1. Alexa-instellingen Start de MEDION SPEAKER app. Tik nu op de instelling ( ). Tik nu op ALEXA SETTINGS. Tik op CHOOSE LANGUAGE en selecteer de gewenste Alexa-taal. Tik op REQUEST SOUNDS om de bevestigingssignalen te activeren.

15. Software-UpdateU kunt de software van de WLAN-luidspreker bijwerken via de app. De app controleert of er een software-update beschikbaar is en downloadt deze vervolgens via internet naar de WLAN-luidspreker.
Schakel de WLAN-luidspreker in. Start de MEDION SPEAKER app.
De app controleert automatisch of er een software-update voor de aangemelde WLAN-luidspreker beschikbaar is.Wanneer dit inderdaad het geval is, wordt naast de instelling ( ) van de desbetreffende WLAN-luidspreker het informatieveld NEW weergegeven.
Open de instellingen van de WLAN-luidspreker waarvan u de software wilt bijwerken. Open nu SPEAKER INFO. Tik op FIRMWARE VERSION en volg de verdere aanwijzingen.

16. Storingen verhelpenWanneer het apparaat niet correct werkt, ga dan eerst aan de hand van de onderstaande lijst na of u het probleem zelf kunt verhelpen.Probeer in geen geval zelf reparaties uit te voeren. Neem voor reparaties contact op met ons servicecentrum of een ander deskundig bedrijf.

19. AfvoerVerpakking
Het apparaat is verpakt ter bescherming tegen schade tijdens transport. Verpakkingen zijn grondstoffen en kunnen worden hergebruikt of terug worden gebracht in de grondstoffenkringloop.
Apparaat
Afgedankte apparatuur mag niet met huishoudelijk afval worden afgevoerd. Volgens richtlijn 2012/19/EU moet oude apparatuur aan het einde van de levensduur volgens voorschrift worden afgevoerd. Hierbij worden de bruikbare grondstoffen in het apparaat voor recycling gescheiden waarmee de belasting van het milieu wordt beperkt. Lever het afgedankte apparaat voor recycling in bij een inzamelpunt voor elektronisch afval of een algemeen inzamelpunt voor recycling. Neem voor verdere informatie contact op met uw plaatselijke reinigingsdienst of met uw gemeente.
Batterijen
Batterijen en accu’s moeten correct worden afgevoerd. Op verkooppunten voor batterijen en gemeentelijke inzamelpunten staan daarvoor speciale containers ter beschikking. Neem voor meer informatie contact op met uw lokale afvalverwerkingsbedrijf of gemeente.
