Capita talvolta di dover effettuare un intervento di ma-nutenzione sulla guarnizione astina oppure di doverla sostituire con una nuova. Senza il cacciavite Iwata per vite guarnizione astina questa operazione può risultare difficoltosa. All’interno del kit troverete due cacciaviti (rispettivamente per astine da 1,2 mm e 1,4 mm) ed una lista che vi indicherà i modelli di aerografi Iwata con cui utilizzarli. I due cacciaviti possono essere utilizzati con la maggior parte degli aerografi Iwata (esclusa la serie Eclipse G).

La Chiavetta Valvola aria è uno strumento essenziale per la rimozione della valvola aria e per la sua pulizia. La chiavetta ha due estremità di due differenti misure che si adattano ai vari modelli di aerografi Iwata. Il manualetto di istruzioni contiene una lista di aerografi per i quali si indica il tipo di estremità da utilizzare. A riguardo Kirk afferma: “Quando sostituite una guarnizione in PTFE, abbiate cura di non stringere eccessivamente poiché, al contrario della gomma nei vecchi O ring, il PTFE è un materiale che non riacquista prontamente la forma originaria. La guarnizione astina deve però essere chiusa con una stretta sufficiente ad evitare il reflusso del colore dalla tazza. Una stretta eccessiva può tuttavia rallentare lo scorrimento dell’astina ed impedire un appropriato controllo del grilletto sul movimento dell’astina stessa.

Il design specifico dei cacciaviti Iwata per guarnizione astina vi permetterà di avere una chiara percezione di quanto la guarnizione stia stringendo sull’astina stessa. Essendo il diametro del cacciavite identico a quello dell’astina, potrete regolare la stretta della guarnizione facendone scorrere la punta all’interno.
