L’ Austin Parker 74 fly S è la prima unità della nuova linea di yacht, da 74 a 104 piedi, che i Cantieri Navali Austin Parker si apprestano a lanciare, dopo aver affermato la propria linea di yacht “classici” da 36 a 72 piedi. Il nuovo 74 fly S si fa notare per l’eleganza e per alcune soluzioni tecniche ed estetiche particolari: il progetto ha sviluppato un concetto di imbarcazione che, pur mantenendo lo stile e il design “classico” del brand, adotta soluzioni tipiche delle “navette” così da rendere comoda la vita a bordo: un esempio sono gli ampi e protetti walk-around laterali che corrono, a bordo alto, lungo le fiancate. A prua, un innovativo bow-space rende piacevole il soggiorno di più persone che dispongono di sedute e prendisole.

The Austin Parker 74 fly S is the first in the new line of yachts from 74 to 104 feet which Cantieri Navali Austin Parker is about to launch on the market after the successful introduction of its line of “classic” yachts from 36 to 72 feet. The key features of the 74 fly S are its elegance and a number of unusual technical and stylistic characteristics. Its design concept maintains the brand’s “standard” style but introduces some typical features of the yacht class to make life on board particularly convenient: for example, the large, well protected high-edged side walk - arounds. In the bows, an innovative space provides accommodation for several people, with seats and lounger.

Il flybridge è una delle parti più caratterizzanti dello yacht: per effetto dei montanti ad “ala” laterali, quest’area sfrutta quasi totalmente la larghezza del baglio consentendo di offrire agli ospiti, oltre alla piscina Jacuzzi, l’angolo bar, la zona pranzo, il grande prendisole e la plancia di guida. Il flybridge, protetto da un top che può essere aperto, ha un doppio accesso: dal pozzetto tramite una scala incassata nella murata e dal salone principale, con una scala che resta contenuta nella torretta che fa da colonna portante dell’hard-top. A poppa, una piattaforma idraulica scende sotto il livello dell’acqua e serve il grande hangar che ospita tender, jet-ski e water-toys.

The flybridge is one of the yacht’s most distinctive parts: due to the “winged” side uprights, this area makes full use of almost the entire beam of the craft, allowing guests to be offered not only a jacuzzi pool but also a bar corner, a dining area, a large lounger sofa and the helm console. There are two means of access to the flybridge, protected by a top which can be opened: it is reached from the cockpit by a companion-way set into the wall, and from the main deck by a companion-way incorporated in a shaft which also supports the hard-top. In the stern, a hydraulic platform can be lowered below water level to serve the large hangar that houses the tender, jet-skis and water-toys.

All’interno, colpiscono la grande luminosità degli ambienti, interamente realizzati su misura, e l’attenzione per i dettagli, curati in ogni aspetto: tecnico, estetico e funzionale.L’ampia suite armatoriale, è situata a centro scafo per sfruttare le massime dimensioni del baglio e il massimo comfort: il grande bagno di servizio ha il wc separato e la vasca da bagno separata. Gli spazi sono paragonabili a quelli di uno yacht di dimensioni molto superiori.In totale, il layout prevede ben 4 cabine doppie, servite ognuna dal proprio bagno e una cabina a 3 letti, con bagno di servizio, per l’alloggio dell’equipaggio, totalmente separata e indipendente a poppa.

The most striking features of the entirely custom-made interiors are the amount of light provided by the large windows and the attention to every tiniest detail, whether technical, stylistic and functional.The large owner suite is in the middle of the craft to benefit from the full beam for the utmost comfort: the large en-suite bathroom has separate WC and bathtub. The space available is similar to that provided on much larger yachts.In total, the layout includes an impressive 4 double cabins, all en-suite, and one totally separate, independent 3 sleeper cabin, with bathroom, in the stern for the crew.

Il progetto ha inoltre tenuto conto della vocazione crocieristica dello yacht, prevedendo la possibilità di scegliere fra la versione “planante” e la versione “dislocante”, in modo da interpretare, in fase costruttiva, le esigenze dell’armatore.Ancora una volta, l’intuizione e la creatività del progettista Fulvio De Simoni, di concerto con l’ufficio tecnico e commerciale del Cantiere, ha prodotto un “grande classico” destinato a portare sempre più lontano il brand Austin Parker.

The design project has also borne in mind that this yacht is intended for cruising, by offering a choice between planing and displacement versions, specifically catering for the owner’s preferences right from the design phase.Once again, the inspiration and creativity of designer Fulvio De Simoni have combined with input from the company’s technical and sales department to produce a “genuine classic”, destined to win even greater success for the Austin Parker brand.

Lo scafo è in vetroresina stratificata, con processo manuale per i primi strati (skin coat) a cui segue una stratificazione ad infusione. L’opera viva è in laminato “single skin” con quadri assiali ad elevata resistenza di vetro tipo E. L’opera morta è in laminato sandwich con anima di balsa, sempre con pelli in vetro tipo E. Come finitura è applicato gelcoat neopentilico-isoftalico ad elevata resistenza all’osmosi e all’invecchiamento da raggi UVA. Questo procedimento costruttivo è quanto di meglio si possa trovare sul mercato.

The hull is in layered fibreglass, with the skin coat applied by hand, followed by an infusion layering process.The quick-works are in single skin laminate with high strength E-glass quadriaxial fabrics. The top side is in sandwich laminate with balsawood core and, again, E-glass skin. The finishing coat is in isophthalic/neopentyl gelcoat with high resistance to osmosis and UVA ageing. This construction procedure is the best on the market.
