I riscaldatori della Serie PT EV sono stati progettatispecificamente per l’evaporazione dei residui di acquaprodotti dal ciclo di sbrinamento nei settori dellarefrigerazione e del condizionamento, sfruttando latecnologia PTC (Coefficiente Termico Positivo). Essi trovanola loro più frequente applicazione in armadi e banchifrigoriferi.Il PTC fornisce un potere scaldante che è funzione dellatemperatura, emettendo quindi la potenza massima allatemperatura più bassa e riducendo invece l’emissione dipotenza man mano la temperatura si alza.

Questo sistema garantisce numerosi vantaggi:Sicurezza: nelle condizioni di lavoro più critiche – cioè nelmomento in cui tutta l’acqua nella vaschetta è evaporata e laresistenza lavora scoperta – la potenza assorbita dal PTCcrolla quasi istantaneamente a livelli minimi, evitando ilrischio di danneggiare riscaldatore e vaschetta.Economia d’impianto: con una resistenza a cartucciaautoregolante PTC della HT si elimina la necessità diqualunque dispositivo di protezione aggiuntivo. Questoconsente ovviamente non solo di risparmiare sul costo direttodel dispositivo/i in questione, ma porta anche ad un ulteriorerisparmio grazie all’eliminazione dei supporti e deicollegamenti elettrici – per non parlare del costo dellamano d’opera.Risparmio energetico: in generale questi riscaldatoriutilizzano meno energia rispetto ai modelli convenzionali– un fattore di importanza crescente anche nelle applicazioniindustriali.

The heaters of the PT EV Series are designed especially forthe evaporation of water produced by the de-frost cycle inmost Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration & AirConditioning sectors, which apply the PTC (Positive ThermalCoefficient) technology. Their most frequent applicationis in refrigerated cabinets and counters.The PTC provides a heating power that is functional tothe temperature, thus giving maximum power at alower temperature and reducing the power output as thetemperature grows.

This system guarantees several advantages: Safety: in the worst operating conditions – i.e. once theheater is working uncovered after the water in the tank hasevaporated - the power absorbed by the PTC drops to almostnothing, thus avoiding the risk of damaging both the heaterand the tank.Costs Savings: using one of HT’s self-limiting PTC cartridgetype heaters the need for any further protection device iseliminated. This of course not only saves the direct costs of thesaid protection device/s in question, but there are still furthersavings in the elimination of supports and interconnectingwiring - not to mention the labour involved.Energy Savings: in general this type of heater uses lessenergy than the conventional types – a factor now becomingmore and more important even in industrial application.

Nota:Per il montaggio della resistenza è sufficiente un foro da17mm sul fianco della vaschetta, il più possibile vicino alfondo. Su richiesta sono disponibili dado e guarnizione dafornirsi a parte.

Note:All that is required to mount the heater is a 17mm diameterhole in the side of the tank, as near to the bottom as possible.Upon request suitable washer and nut can be supplied loose.
