Oliver B. Group è un’azienda italiana che nasce nel 1999 dalla collaborazione fra la famiglia Segala e Oliver Bucher. Si trova a Verona, la città di Romeo e Giulietta e delle architetture che incantano il mondo, ma anche di tante storie imprenditoriali sorprendenti. Oggi Oliver B. esporta in tutto il mondo mobili e arredi che si posizionano in una zona di confine fra alta qualità e segmento del lus-so. Pur essendo fortementre radicata nel territorio e nella tradizione industriale italiana, ha saputo trasformarsi in un brand amato e apprezzato in tutto il mondo. È una questione di cuore. Oliver B. è passione per il legno allo stato puro. Il legno. Questo mate-riale saggio, intramontabile, sensibile, forte, naturale, con cui dall’alba dell’umanità si fanno ponti e tetti delle case, travi portanti e attrezzi da lavoro, strumenti musicali e sculture.Il legno richiede un amore sincero per essere scelto, capito, interpretato. E uno sconfinato baga-glio di competenze tecniche per poterlo lavorare. Si inizia con un controllo accurato sulle fasi di essicazione, e si finisce con la cura scrupolosa dei processi di lucidatura. PASSIONATE
Il legno è un pianeta popolato da tante individualità, ciascuna con le sue affinità, la sua empatia e il suo potente alfabeto sensoriale. Oliver B. lavora solo legni pregiati. Come il noce americano, il cui tronco alto, diritto e maestoso arriva ai cinquanta metri d’altezza. O il noce sbiancato, così agile e contemporaneo, capace di dialogare con altri materiali. O come il rovere, campione di durezza per definizione, che acquista molto con la stagionatura, resiste agli urti, alla curvatura e agli agenti atmosferici e per questo viene impiegato nella costruzione di imbarcazioni e botti per il vino. O il rovere selvaggio, ancora più ricercato, che sta al rovere come il giardino all’inglese sta al giardino all’italiana. Amare il legno vuol dire rispettarlo e garantire lavorazioni che lasciano intatte le sua caratteristiche all’origine.
Wood has such a rich diversity, that each species has its own affinities and unique sense of being, qualities that we strive to reveal in our work. We are dedicated to incorporating some of the finest wood into our designs. Woods such as American Walnut, whose straight and majestic trunk can reach up to fifty meters, and washed Walnut famous for its agile and contemporary finish that blends easily with other materials. Or Oak, the king of durability that when aged can resist bumps, bends and harsh weather, qualities that made it so desirable for shipbuilding and barrel making. We even work with Wild Oak, which is highlyprized for its rustic and untamed beauty. Our love and respect for the wood that we use is visible in the innate subtleties of each variety of tree that remains long after our work is done.
PRECIOUS
Nell’industria del mobile, Italia è sinonimo di eccellenza, design e tecnologia. Un primato che nes-suno fino ad oggi è riuscito a intaccare. Alla base del modello italiano c’è la capacità di far conver-gere piani diversi: il saper fare e il savoir vivre, l’arte e la tecnica, il cuore e la mente, l’aspirazione alla bellezza e la sostenibilità economica. In breve, c’è la capacità di immaginare e di generare armonia. La produzione Oliver B. è tutto tranne che statica. Ci sono alcuni prodotti evergreen che connotano il catalogo, e poi ci sono un gran numero di prodotti in continuo affinamento. Per dare un’idea dell’impegno nella ricerca di prodotto, su circa150 prototipi realizzati ogni anno, 20-30 vanno in produzione. I prodotti sono classificati per tipologia del legno, a rimarcare l’importanza che il marchio attribuisce alla materia prima. La produzione è organizzata in due cataloghi: Casa e Wild. Casa si rivolge a un segmento che si può definire lusso entry level. Wild si apre a una comu-nità di persone più ampia e con una leggera inclinazione a esplorare territori nuovi.

Uncontested in its preeminence, the Italian model is known for its ability to se-amlessly merge different aspects: knowhow and savoir vivre, art and technique, body and mind, aspiring to beauty and economical sustainability or, in other words, the capacity to imagine and create harmony. Oliver B.’s product range is anything but static.While there are some timeless products in the collection, a large number of items are in a state of continuous refinement. To give an idea of the commitment to product research, from more than 150 prototypes created each year, only 20 to 30 go into production. Each product is classified by type of material in order to put emphasis on the importance that the brand grants to raw mate-rials. Oliver B.’s collection is organized in two different catalogs: Casa and Wild. Casa aims for a segment that can be defined as luxury entry level, while Wild is caters to a wider public with a tendency to explore new trends.
