Deafness can lead to social exclusion due to the lack of accessibility of communication and information

Thanks to the introduction of simple descriptions, with texts accessible and

high intelligibility and videos in Italian Sign Language (LIS) and International

Signs (IS) and / or American Sign Language

A website structured as a meeting place where deaf and deaf-blind people can surf

autonomusly through a mapping highlighting structures, museum sites,

M.A.P.S. is an innovative solution to this situation and it will have a

great social utility. The main objective is to gather, in one virtual

The project will also be a stimulus for those Cultural Institutions willing to increase their sites and make them accessible to deaf people. They will be encouraged to join it in order to be visible
