solo( exhibitions( in( Piedmont,( while( the(community( interest( was( growing( in( the(major( teaching(and(civic( institutions(both(here( in( Geelong( and( in( Piedmont( and( a(push( to( realise( a( \irst( true( exchange( of(delegations( based( on( the( now( identi\ied(links( of( food,( wine,( art( and( fashion( was(\inally( achieved( in( 2004.( The( tempo(quickened( when( Diversitat( moved( to(champion( this( cultural( exchange.( In( the(February( l inked( to( Pako( Festa,( a(delegation,( wine/produce( and( art( from(Italy(was(experienced(in(Geelong(and,(later(that( year( in( June,( 21( Australian( artworks(representing( the( G21( region( were( shown(in(the(National(Science/Art(Museum(Turin(and(a(delegation(from(Geelong(was(hosted(for(two(weeks.((Inspired( by( our( constant( sketching( of(

his( beautiful( Italy,( Massimiliano( Panero(invited( us( to( return( again( to( Italy( the(following( year( 2005( for( a( touring( solo(exhibition.( So( born( the( \irst( edition( of(
