I Wah Dub è stato pubblicato nel 1980,portando avanti le sensibilità elettriche di Bovell ed è l’esempio di un classico album dubinglese che è stato a lungo lontano dalla stampa su vinile nonostante sia statorimasterizzato e ripubblicato nel 2003. La grande influenza di Bovell sulla musica blackbritannica non può essere sottovalutata. Sarà disponibile nuovamente su vinile,esclusivamente per il RSD 2021.

Il titolo siispira al naufrago del romanziere Daniel Defoe: Robinson Crusoe e riassume il periodomolto travagliato che Vecchioni stava vivendo all’epoca per motivi famigliari ma,soprattutto, giudiziari. L’album avrebbe dovuto uscire a giugno ma slitto in autunno edalla disavventura giudiziaria Vecchioni trasse l'ispirazione per scrivere due canzonicardine del disco: Lettera da Marsala e Signor giudice.Con Robinson Vecchioni torna musicalmente ad alti livelli e i temi ricorrenti sono quellidel sogno e del doppio a lui molto cari. Fu il primo disco di quella che, più comunemente, è definita la“Trilogia del Potere” e che comprende oltre a Desaparecido (1985), 17 Re (1986) eLitfiba 3 (1988). Desaparecido contiene 8 tracce e comprende il meglio dei loro braniagli esordi, tracce nuove e altre già ascoltata negli anni precedenti. La critica e ilpubblico si accorsero subito di avere di fronte una band che rappresentava "il nuovorock italiano". Per questa particolare edizione l’artwork è stato parzialmente elaboratorispetto alla grafica originale.
