Bardonecchia has several different skiing areas which

all have something different to offer to the skier.

The first area is known as the Colomion-Les Arnauds.

It is connected to a other skiing area known as Me-

lezet: here there’s a wealth of wide runs that spin out

through the woods. The starting point is from Campo

Smith (1300 m) in the heart of the resort and the

lifts take you up to the highest point of 2400 metres

where you ski above the woods.

Just 5 minutes from the centre there is the third ski-

ing area Jafferau. There is a free ski bus that runs

from the city to Jafferau where the skiing is mainly on

open runs with amazing views over the surrounding

mountains. Here the highest point is 2800 metres

and in spring there are endless possibilities for off-

piste skiing.

I comprensori del Colomion-Les Arnauds e del Mele-

prevalenza nel bosco, dove una fitta ed artistica ra-

gnatela di percorsi, partendo dal centro del paese - a

Campo Smith, poco più di 1330 m s.l.m. - raggiunge

i vasti plateau fuoribosco del Vallon Cros a 2400 metri

di quota.

A soli 5 minuti dal centro del paese grazie alla navetta

gratuita potrete raggiungere il comprensorio dello Jaf-

più cool dell’estate. Il Bike Park di Bardonecchia pre-

senta innumerevoli percorsi di diversi livelli di difficoltà

e strutture per tutte le discipline: North Shore, Cross

Country, Freeride e Downhill. Un noleggio con oltre

90 biciclette vi aspetta alla partenza della seggiovia

di Campo Smith; provate tutti gli ultimi modelli delle

mountain bike firmate Kona.

L’intera area offre più di 40 percorsi serviti dagli im-

pianti di risalita, segnalati e classificati per individuare

liti in Valle Stretta, delle escursioni in alta montagna

con le Guide Alpine, delle partite sul campo di calcio,

del tennis, del nuoto, del pattinaggio, dello skate, del

mountainboard, della pallavolo, del beach volley e

dell’adventure park, un emozionante parco acrobatico

per una “passaggiata in quota” sospesi tra gl’alberi.

Insomma Bardonecchia è sport a 360 gradi, il posto

giusto per coloro che amano praticare una sana attivi-

tà fisica e stare a contatto con la natura..

se who love to walk in the mountains numerous possi-

bilities for simple rambles at 1300 m to high level ex-

cursions with professionals and professional mountain

equipment above 3500m reaching the highest peaks

with stunning views of Italy and France. Our most well

known summits are the Guglia Rossa, the Val Fredda (the

cold valley) the Tre Croci, the glacier Sommeiller, Tabor

mountain, and the top of Pierre Menue where there is

an overnight hut.

For those who prefer to walk in groups there are nume-

rous organized trips for all ages and all abilities, some

featuring focal interest points, for example the local flo-

wers, the animals or the different historic ruins.

The Valley Stretta, (the narrow valley) situated at the far

end of Melezet is ideal for rock climbing with many spe-

cialist routes with the security rings to clamp and climb

on the Parete dei Militi climbing wall and also the Ferrate.
