La mission di Slam, fondata nel 1979 da un gruppo di amici appassionati di vela, è da sempre “creare, concepire, testare e vendere abbigliamento tec-nologicamente avanzato in grado di aumentare le performance dei velisti” e di proporre una collezione sportswear di ispirazione nautica destinata a tutti coloro che amano il mare. Il processo di innovazione che caratterizza slam è un meccanismo continuo in cui la ricerca e lo sviluppo, la produzione e i test sul campo si danno propulsio-ne a vicenda e da cui scaturisce un miglioramento costante della produzione. La passione per la ricerca e l’innovazione, unitamente all’apprezzamento dei clienti, hanno contribuito a rendere slam il marchio di abbigliamento tecnico scelto da alcuni fra i più grandi velisti al mondo, tra cui Russell Coutts, 4 volte vincitore della Coppa America.

Slam was founded in 1979 by a group of friends who shared a passion for sailing. Since then, our mission has always been “to create, design, test and sell technologically advanced clothing with the aim of enhancing sailing performance” and to offer sailing-inspired sportswear to all lovers of the sea. Slam’s unique innovation process is a continuous process of research and development, where production and sea tests interact dynamically, propel-ling each other forward, constantly improving all aspects of production. Our passion for research and innovation, along with our costumers’ sa-tisfaction, made slam the professional sports clothing brand selected by the greatest sailors in the world, including russell coutts, 4 times winner of the America’s Cup.
