Sulle verdi colline di Roncegno Terme numerosi tipici masi punteggiano i pendii dove dimorano centinaia di grandi castagni, tipico frutto del luogo a cui a fine ottobre è dedicata una caratteristica festa. Il trekking è d’obbligo nella splendida Catena del Lagorai e anche lungo i sentieri che portano alle antiche chiese del posto, mentre a valle gli appassionati delle due ruote possono pedalare sulla pista ciclabile che si snoda lungo il corso del fiume Brenta.

On the hills of Roncegno several small villages are dotted around the slopes covered with hundreds of big chestnut trees, the typical local fruit to which a famous annual festival is dedicated.Trekking in the mountains is also not to be missed along the paths leading to the ancient local churches and downstream along the river Brenta.

Dieses charakteristische Thermalstädtchen ist schon seit dem Ende des vorigen Jahrhunderts als Kurort

bekannt. Der Zauber vergangener Zeiten, die Natur, die Lage und die wundervolle Aussicht kennzeichnen den Badeort. Im Dorf gibt es einige Handwerksbetriebe, die Hotels und Restaurants sind einladend und die antike Therme, mitten im Grünen, in einem 5 Hektar großen Kurpark mit majestäti-schen Bäumen, empfängt die Gäste unter einem suggestiven Laubengang. Der Ort ist aufgrund seiner sehr gut ausgestat-teten Sportanlagen mitten im Grünen die ideale Lokalität für Trainingslager. Hier in Roncegno Terme trainierten einige bedeutende italienische und ausländische Fußballmann-schaften. Alle anderen Sportbegeisterten profitieren von den unzähligen Mountainbike- Trekking- und Wanderrouten. Ein Symbol Roncegnos sind ebenso die grünen Hügel mit ihren Kastanienbäumen. Dieser, für die Gegend typischen, Frucht wird jedes Jahr Ende Oktober ein charakteristisches Fest gewidmet. Nicht weit vom Ortskern entfernt warten die atem-beraubenden Gipfel der Lagorai-Bergkette auf alle Wanderer. An den Wegen entdeckt man darüber hinaus antike Kirchen. Die Radsportfans können sich auf dem Radweg, der am Fluss Brenta entlang verläuft, an der wunderschönen Umgebung erfreuen und aktive Stunden in der Natur verbringen.

Dit bijzondere plaatsje in Trentino wordt gekenmerkt door tradities. Roncegno geniet als kuuroord al vanaf

het einde van de negentiende eeuw veel bekendheid en heeft een zacht klimaat en een betoverende ongerepte natuur. De plaats biedt een panoramisch uitzicht over het lagere gedeelte van Valsugana. In het centrum kan men de ambachtskunst bezichtigen en gezellige hotels en re-staurants bezoeken, terwijl de antieke thermen met de in-drukwekkende zuilengalerijen u verwelkomen in een groot park van vijf hectare met veel hoge bomen en een zwem-bad. In het lager gelegen plaatsje Ferme bevindt zich het nieuwe tenniscentrum met acht banen. Dit dorpje, dat in het teken staat van de tennisport, ligt op enkele minuten afstand van het historische centrum van Roncegno. Vlakbij bevindt zich tevens een golfcentrum: een nieuw complex, gelegen tus-sen velden en bossen, waarin een natuurreservaat verbor-gen ligt. Op de heuvels van Roncegno liggen talloze kleine dorpjes waar honderden enorme kastanjebomen groeien, een typisch plaatselijke vrucht, waaraan een bekend jaar-lijks feest is gewijd. Het maken van trektochten door de heuvels is een echte aanrader. Verder zijn er wandelwegen naar de oude plaatselijke kerken en langs de Brenta rivier.
