Lettera dei Presidenti

Siamo orgogliosi di poter presentare il prossimo congresso SIGASCOT, giunto alla sua IV edizione, che si

terrà a Napoli dal 10 al 12 ottobre 2012. Per favorire la partecipazione attiva degli iscritti al congresso, il

programma scientifico comprenderà, oltre ai corsi d’istruzione, ai simposi e alle letture magistrali, anche

mini-battle a tema, quick questions dedicate a specifici casi clinici e numerose sessioni di comunicazioni

libere.

Ciascun Comitato della nostra Società avrà uno spazio dedicato per permettere l’approfondimento di

temi attuali inerenti al proprio specifico settore. Vi sarà inoltre un simposio congiunto con prestigiosi

esponenti dell’ISAKOS sulla ricostruzione del legamento crociato anteriore e una riunione comune tra la

SIGASCOT e la SOTIMI.

Anche le Aziende con i loro workshop ci consentiranno di avere un ulteriore confronto scientifico sulle

novità in ambito di chirurgia artroscopica e protesica.

Ci è sembrano infine opportuno, nello spazio del Congresso, dedicare un corso ai fisioterapisti.

Tutto questo avverrà nella splendida cornice di Napoli, una tra le più belle città al mondo, che vi

accoglierà in un magnifico periodo dell’anno ancora semi-estivo e con possibilità turistiche uniche.

Ci auguriamo che tali opportunità, insieme all’interessante programma scientifico e alla presenza dei

maggiori esperti italiani e stranieri chiamati a confrontarsi sui topics del convegno, renderanno

numerosissima la vostra partecipazione.

Dear Colleagues,

We are proud to introduce you to SIGASCOT2012, the National Congress of SIGASCOT, actually at its fourth edition. It will take place from October 10th, trough October 12th, 2012 in the magnificent setting of Naples, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, which will welcome you in a wonderful time of the year. To stimulate the participation of our members and that of other national Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Scientists and Physicians, the scientific programme will offer not only Instructional Courses, Invited lectures and Combined meetings but also Quick Question Lectures, Mini-battles and an important free paper and poster sessions. The Symposia of our Committees will propose you the best of science in their field and focus on the state of the art, trying to give guidelines and recommendations. Workshops will inform on the latest techniques in Arthroscopy and Orthopaedic surgery. During the Congress there will be a One day Physiotherapist course. The congress venue is the Hotel Royal Continental. This exclusive Hotel is located on the seafront of Naples, opposite the Castel dell'Ovo, viewing Capri Island and close to the noble heart of the city. We hope that the beautiful location, an interesting scientific programme and the presence of the very best Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Scientists and Sports Physicians of Italy, Europe and over the world, invited to discuss the topics of the Congress, will find your agreement and encourage you to participate.
