PANERAI LUMINOR 1950 3 DAYS GMT AUTOMATIC

Sin dal 1860, l’azienda fiorentina Guido Panerai & Figlio, fornitore della Regia MarinaItaliana, produce strumenti di precisione dall’elevato contenuto tecnologico. Officine Panerai comincia a produrre orologi nel 1936 con i primi prototipi delRadiomir a cui, nel corso degli anni, apporta numerose modifiche al fine di realizzareorologi sempre più resistenti in condizioni estreme: nacquero così il Radiomir 1940,con anse ricavate dallo stesso blocco della cassa, e il Luminor 1950, conl’innovativo dispositivo proteggi-corona. Nel 1993, Officine Panerai si rivolge per la prima volta al pubblico civile, diventandouno dei leader indiscussi dell’alta orologeria sportiva.

Luminor, una parola che fa già pensare alla luminosità e che identifica la più grandefamiglia di orologi di Officine Panerai. In effetti, i modelli Luminor 1950 proseguonola tradizione del marchio italiano nel settore degli orologi subacquei concepiti perrispondere alle specifiche esigenze della Marina Militare Italiana. La pasta a basedi radio, inizialmente utilizzata per rendere perfettamente visibili i quadranti incondizioni di oscurità assoluta, viene progressivamente sostituita da una nuovasostanza autoluminosa a base di trizio (isotopo dell'idrogeno), anch’essaconcepita da Officine Panerai: si tratta del “Luminor”, che viene protetto dabrevetto registrato l’11 gennaio del 1949 per «prodotti sotto qualsiasi formaluminescenti, fluorescenti, fosforescenti e simili», destinati soprattutto all’impiegomilitare. La grande innovazione che contraddistingue gli orologi conosciuti oggicon il nome di Luminor 1950 è il dispositivo con leva proteggi-corona chegarantisce una perfetta tenuta stagna, proteggendo la corona da urti emanipolazioni inavvertite anche nelle condizioni di utilizzo più estreme. All’epocacome oggi, un'altra caratteristica principale del Luminor 1950 è la carrure acuscino della cassa con la lunetta larga e piatta, mentre il dispositivo con levaproteggi-corona diviene il segno inconfondibile di Officine Panerai.

LA CASSALa cassa dell’orologio Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic è disponibile,tra gli altri materiali, in acciaio AISI 316L.Per la costruzione della cassa, Panerai si avvale di tecniche costituite da complessefasi di lavorazione, che garantiscono una finitura estetica eccezionale e la miglioreresistenza in termini di assorbimento degli shock.Per ottimizzare l’affidabilità dell’orologio nel lungo periodo, la corona di carica è con-traddistinta dalla presenza di un particolare elemento ad anello filettato, la cui fun-zione è di regolare la fluidità della forza con la quale la corona viene serrata daldispositivo proteggi-corona, un sistema che protegge la corona da urti e rottureaccidentali e contribuisce ad assicurare l’impermeabilità della cassa.La levetta mobile, montata sul supporto fissato alla cassa che è inciso con le lettereREG. T.M. (Registered trademark), presenta un piccolo cuscinetto rotante che evital’usura dell’estremità della leva a contatto con la corona, consentendo di tarare inmaniera più efficiente la pressione assiale che si verifica tre le due parti.Il vetro è in zaffiro, ottenuto dal corindone, materiale duro (è secondo soltanto aldiamante), esente da impurità, trasparente, resistente alle abrasioni, antiriflesso.Il fondello, serrato a vite, ha l’oblò in vetro zaffiro che consente di ammirare ilmeccanismo e le finiture, tipiche dell’alta gamma. Sul retro della cassa sono riportati,mediante incisione, il numero della cassa, il numero progressivo dell’orologio con ilnumero della tiratura annua, il materiale e il valore di profondità massima d’impiego.L’impermeabilità dell’orologio è indicata sul fondello dal simbolo , ed èespressa in bar, che corrispondono alla pressione idrostatica esercitata da unacolonna d’acqua su 1 cm2 a una data profondità in condizioni normali. Di seguitole corrispondenze: 3 bar ~ 30 metri; 5 bar ~ 50 metri; 10 bar ~ 100 metri; 30 bar ~300 metri.

IL QUADRANTEPer assicurare un livello ottimale di luminescenza e la miglior resistenza nel tempo,Panerai utilizza esclusivamente Swiss Super-LumiNova® di “Grado A”.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USOPANERAI LUMINOR 1950 3 DAYS GMT AUTOMATIC

CARICA DELL’OROLOGIOIl Suo orologio è dotato di un movimento meccanico a carica automatica conriserva di marcia di 3 giorni segnalata da un disco rotante sul movimento.Quando il disco è completamente nero la riserva di carica è pari a 72 ore. Ildisco completamente colorato indica invece che l’orologio deve essere cari-cato. Qualora l’orologio rimanesse fermo per un lungo periodo, si consiglia diricaricarlo ruotando per alcuni giri in senso orario la corona di carica (B) man-tenuta nella posizione iniziale, dopo aver sollevato la levetta (A) del dispositivoproteggi-corona.

REGOLAZIONE DELL’ORA1. Sollevare la levetta (A) del dispositivo proteggi-corona ed estrarre la coronadi carica (B) al secondo scatto (posizione 2) per impostare l’ora corretta.

2. Assicurarsi che la lancetta dell’ora locale (C) sia sovrapposta alla lancettadel secondo fuso orario (F). Se così non fosse, ritornare con la corona dicarica (B) al primo scatto (posizione 1). In questa posizione la lancetta delleore (C) si muove in avanti o a ritroso a scatti di un’ora. Fare coincidere lalancetta delle ore (C) con quella del secondo fuso orario (F). Tornare poi conla corona di carica (B) alla posizione 2 per impostare l’ora corretta.

3. Riportare la corona di carica (B) nella posizione iniziale (0) e richiudere lalevetta (A) del dispositivo proteggi-corona.

La regolazione rapida dell’ora si effettua estraendo la corona (B) al primoscatto (posizione 1). In questa posizione la lancetta delle ore (C) si muove inavanti o all’indietro a scatti di un’ora, senza che la lancetta dei minuti (D) sisposti.

Per la produzione di tale sostanza sono utilizzati pigmenti speciali altamenteperformanti che incrementano la durata della leggibilità approssimativamente del35% rispetto al Super-LumiNova® standard.

IL CINTURINO E IL BRACCIALEI cinturini in pelle, in alligatore, in tessuto e in caucciù sono ipoallergenici, comeanche i bracciali in metallo.

IL MOVIMENTOMeccanico a carica automatica, calibro Panerai P.9011, interamente realizzato daPanerai, 13¾ linee (31 mm), spessore 6,0 mm, 31 rubini, bilanciere in Glucydur®,28.800 alternanze/ora. Dispositivo antiurto Incabloc®. Riserva di carica di 3 giornicon indicatore visibile su lato fondello, due bariletti, azzeramento secondi, 239componenti.

Il Suo orologio Panerai è corredato da un libretto dei certificati.I test effettuati sul Suo orologio Panerai sono previsti non solo per il movimento, maanche per l’orologio nella sua totalità comprensivo di componenti. LA FUNZIONE GMTIl sistema GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), noto anche come tempo universale eadottato in tutto il mondo, suddivide il globo terrestre in 24 fasce orarie (fusi),ognuna pari a 15° di longitudine. Il meridiano Greenwich venne preso comemeridiano di riferimento fondamentale per la localizzazione dei fusi a partiredai congressi internazionali di Roma nel 1883 e di Washington nel 1884.Partendo dal meridiano 0, o di Greenwich, sono stati definiti 24 fusi orari, da 0a +12 verso est, e da 0 a -12 verso ovest. Il meridiano 0 ha avuto una funzioneimportantissima per i naviganti: l'ora di Greenwich, infatti, era il riferimento peri calcoli che permettevano di determinare la longitudine in mare e quindi distabilire il punto nave.La funzione GMT permette di conoscere simultaneamente l’ora locale e l’oradi un altro Paese (home time).

REGOLAZIONE DEL SECONDO FUSO ORARIO

1. Sollevare la levetta (A) del dispositivo proteggi-corona ed estrarre la coronadi carica (B) al primo scatto (posizione 1). In questa posizione la lancettadell’ora locale (C) si muove in avanti o a ritroso a scatti di un’ora senzamuovere la lancetta dei minuti (D).

2. Regolare l’ora desiderata. La lancetta delle ore (C) indicherà l’ora locale,ossia l’ora della località in cui vi trovate in quel momento.

3. Ritornare con la corona di carica (B) alla posizione iniziale (0) e richiudere lalevetta (A) del dispositivo proteggi-corona.A questo punto, la lancetta del secondo fuso orario (F) indicherà l’hometime, ossia l’ora del paese di provenienza. Questa lancetta si muove allastessa velocità della lancetta dell’ora locale (C), facendo una rivoluzionecompleta in 12 ore.

IL DISPOSITIVO DI AZZERAMENTO SECONDI

Il quadrantino dei secondi continui (E) è posizionato al 9. Svitando la coronadi carica (B) ed estraendola al secondo scatto (posizione 2), la lancetta deipiccoli secondi si posiziona immediatamente sullo zero. Il dispositivo diazzeramento secondi rappresenta un modo estremamente accurato disincronizzare l’orologio con il segnale orario di riferimento.Attenzione: nel momento in cui entra in funzione il dispositivo di azzeramentosecondi, si azzera la lancetta dei secondi e si blocca il bilanciere. Seinavvertitamente la corona venisse estratta alla posizione 2 per lungo tempo,si dovrebbe effettuare nuovamente la regolazione precisa dell’ora.

REGOLAZIONE DELLA DATAIl Suo orologio dispone di un meccanismo di cambio data graduale, con unavanzamento che impiega circa 3 ore per completarsi: dalle 22.00 alla 1.00,con uno scarto di ± 30 minuti. Questa specifica modalità di cambio data èispirata alla tradizione meccanica dell’orologeria Svizzera, e consente diregolare il datario in entrambe le direzioni, procedendo in avanti oppure aritroso. Per aggiornare l’indicazione della data occorre:1. Sollevare la levetta (A) del dispositivo proteggi-corona ed estrarre la coronadi carica (B), al primo scatto (posizione 1).Ruotarla in senso orario o antiorario facendo avanzare la lancetta delle ore(C) fino a che la data esatta non compare sulla finestrella del datario posizio-nato a ore 3. Se la data cambia quando la lancetta delle ore (C) oltrepassa il12, il 12 corrisponderà a mezzanotte, in caso contrario corrisponderà a mez-zogiorno.

2. Riportare la corona di carica (B) nella posizione iniziale (0) e richiudere lalevetta (A) del dispositivo proteggi-corona.

Attenzione: il Suo orologio Panerai è dotato di cambio rapido dell’ora che fa sìche la lancetta delle ore (C) si muova in avanti o a ritroso a scatti di un’ora eche la data cambi in entrambe le direzioni, muovendosi in avanti o a ritroso.

CONSIGLI PER LA MANUTENZIONEGli orologi Panerai sono costruiti secondo standard di elevata qualità. Si ricor-da che le parti meccaniche dell’orologio Panerai lavorano 24 ore su 24 durantel’uso e di conseguenza, per assicurare il buon funzionamento e la durata neltempo del Suo orologio, si consiglia di sottoporlo a revisioni periodiche.

IMPERMEABILITÀFar verificare periodicamente l’impermeabilità del proprio orologio da un CentroAssistenza Autorizzato Panerai e rinnovarla ogni due anni con una manutenzio-ne periodica o, in ogni caso, tutte le volte che l’orologio dovesse essere aperto.Il rinnovo dell’impermeabilità implica necessariamente la sostituzione delleguarnizioni, al fine di garantirne la massima impermeabilità e sicurezza. Nel caso in cui l’orologio fosse usato in attività sportive subacquee, si consigliadi farlo verificare ogni anno prima dell’inizio dell’attività subacquea.

IL MOVIMENTOFar controllare periodicamente il movimento del proprio orologio da un CentroAssistenza Autorizzato Panerai, onde preservarne il perfetto funzionamento.Se l’orologio tendesse ad anticipare o a ritardare in modo significativo, potreb-be essere necessaria una regolazione del movimento. I movimenti sono concepiti in modo da mantenere inalterate le caratteristichedi marcia in condizioni di temperatura comprese tra –10 °C e +60 °C (14 °F e140 °F). Al di sotto o al di sopra di questi valori, si possono riscontrare variazio-ni di marcia superiori a quelle riportate sulle specifiche tecniche. Inoltre il lubri-ficante contenuto nel movimento potrebbe deteriorarsi al variare delle tempe-rature minime e massime con conseguente danno di alcuni componenti.

PULIZIA ESTERNAPer conservarne le perfette condizioni esterne, si raccomanda di lavare il pro-prio orologio Panerai in acqua tiepida e sapone, utilizzando una spazzola mor-bida. Dopo tale operazione, così come dopo ogni bagno in mare o in piscina,si consiglia di pulire il Suo orologio Panerai con un panno morbido e asciutto.

SOSTITUZIONE DEL CINTURINOIl Suo orologio adotta, per la sostituzione del cinturino, uno specialedispositivo. Una coppiglia (a), visibile sulla parte laterale di ogni ansa, puòessere liberata agendo contemporaneamente su un pulsante (b), collocatonella parte interna dell’ansa e sulla coppiglia stessa. Un apposito strumento(c), fornito in dotazione nella scatola, consente di effettuare questa operazionecon semplicità e precisione. Prima di effettuare la sostituzione, staccare le dueparti dello strumento. Per completare la sostituzione, dopo aver reinserito lacoppiglia agire sul pulsante interno (b).

SOSTITUZIONE DELLA FIBBIAIl cacciavite fornito in dotazione con il Suo orologio consente di sostituireagevolmente la fibbia. Per la sostituzione della fibbia si consiglia di recarsipresso un Distributore Autorizzato o presso un Centro Assistenza Panerai. Inquesto modo si potranno evitare gli inconvenienti causati da una sostituzioneimpropria.

IL CINTURINOI cinturini Panerai devono essere lavati con acqua tiepida e lasciati asciugare.È importante non farli asciugare su una superficie calda o esporli direttamenteai raggi solari, perché la rapida evaporazione dell'acqua ne danneggerebbe laforma e la qualità. Dopo ogni bagno in mare o in piscina, occorre risciacquareaccuratamente il cinturino con acqua pulita. Il cinturino in pelle utilizza una pelle non trattata chimicamente, che gliconferisce un tocco molto morbido e naturale. In virtù delle sue caratteristichetende col passare del tempo a variare leggermente nel colore, mantenendointatta la sua bellezza. Per la sostituzione del cinturino e della fibbia, si consiglia di recarsi presso unDistributore Autorizzato o un Centro Assistenza Panerai. In questo modo sipotranno evitare gli inconvenienti causati da una sostituzione impropria. Solo i Distributori Autorizzati o i Centri Assistenza Panerai Le garantisconol'uso di cinturini Panerai autentici, studiati per adattarsi alle dimensioni dellacassa e realizzati secondo i criteri qualitativi della marca.

La pelle di alligatore utilizzata da Officine Panerai proviene da allevamentisituati in Louisiana – Stati Uniti. I fornitori di Officine Panerai si impegnano aoffrire i più alti standard di responsabilità assicurando che tali allevamenti con-tribuiscano a una costante crescita degli alligatori allo stato brado, tutelandoquindi questa specie in via di estinzione. Panerai non utilizza pelli provenienti da specie in pericolo o in via di estinzioneche vivono allo stato brado.

THE CASEThe Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic has a case available, amongother materials, in AISI 316L steel. In the construction of the case, Panerai makes use of techniques involvingmany complex working operations, which ensure an exceptional aestheticfinish and the best resistance in terms of absorbing shocks. To optimise thereliability of the watch over a long period, the winding crown incorporates aspecial element with a threaded ring the function of which is to control thedegree of force with which the winding crown is locked by the deviceprotecting the winding crown, which protects it from shocks and accidentaldamage and helps to ensure the water-resistance of the case.The moving lever is mounted in the bridge fixed to the case which is engravedwith the letters REG. T.M. (Registered trademark). The lever is terminated by asmall rotating cushion-like component, which avoids wear at the end of thelever in contact with the crown, allowing the most effective setting of the axialpressure between the two parts.The crystal is of sapphire, made of corundum, a very hard material (secondonly to diamond), free of impurities, transparent, resistant to abrasion and withanti-reflective treatment.The screw-in back has a sapphire crystal window enabling the mechanismand the haute horlogerie finish to be admired. On the back of the case areengraved the case number, the sequential number of the watch with thenumber produced annually, the material and the maximum depth of use.The water-resistance of your watch is indicated on the back by the symbol and is expressed in bar, which correspond to the hydrostatic pressure exerted bya column of water on 1 square centimetre at a certain depth under normalconditions. The correspondences are: 3 bar ~ 30 metres; 5 bar ~ 50 metres; 10bar ~ 100 metres; 30 bar ~ 300 metres.

Since 1860, Guido Panerai & Figlio in Florence had been producing precisioninstruments with a high level of technical content, becoming a supplier to the RoyalItalian Navy.Officine Panerai began to produce watches in 1936 with the first prototype of theRadiomir. In the following years, several modifications were made to developwatches which were more resistant under extreme conditions: the Radiomir 1940with lugs formed from the same block of the case and the Luminor 1950 with theinnovative device protecting the crown were born.In 1993, Officine Panerai presented for the first time a collection for the civilian public,thus becoming one of the undisputed leaders in the haute horlogerie sports sector.

Luminor is a word which already suggests luminosity and it identifies the largestfamily of Officine Panerai watches. The Luminor 1950 models follow the traditionof the Italian brand in the field of underwater watches designed to meet thedemanding requirements of the Italian Navy. The radium-based substance initiallyused to make the dials perfectly visible in conditions of absolute darkness wasprogressively replaced by a new self-luminous substance based on tritium (anisotope of hydrogen) also invented by Officine Panerai: this was ‘Luminor’, asubstance protected by a trademark registered on 11th January 1949 for‘products luminous in any form, fluorescent, phosphorescent and similar’ intendedparticularly for military use. The great innovation that distinguishes these watches,known today by the name Luminor 1950, is the crown-protecting device with leverwhich ensures an excellent water-resistance of the watch, protecting it fromshocks and unintentional manipulations even under the most extreme conditions.Then as now, another principal characteristic of the Luminor 1950 is the cushion-shaped case and its wide, flat bezel. Today the crown-protecting device hasclearly become the unmistakable, distinctive symbol of Officine Panerai.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USEPANERAI LUMINOR 1950 3 DAYS GMT AUTOMATIC

WINDING THE WATCH

The watch Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic has an automaticmechanical movement with a 3-day power reserve, shown by a rotating disc on themovement. The totally black disc indicates 72 hours of power reserve. The totallycoloured disc indicates that the watch needs to be wound. If the watch is stopped fora long time, it is recommended that it be rewound with a few clockwise turns of thewinding crown (B) in the initial position after raising the lever (A) of the device protectingthe winding crown.

SETTING THE TIME

1. Raise the lever (A) of the device protecting the winding crown and pull outthe winding crown (B) to the second click (position 2) to set the correct time.

2. Ensure that the local time hour hand (C) is superimposed on the second timezone hand (F). If this is not the case, return the winding crown (B) to the firstclick (position 1). In this position the local time hour hand (C) movesforwards or backwards in steps of one hour. Make the local time hour hand(C) coincide with that of the second time zone (F). Then return the windingcrown (B) to the second click (position 2) to set the correct time.

3. Push back the winding crown (B) to the initial position (0) and close the lever(A) of the device protecting the winding crown.

For a rapid change of the time, pull out the winding crown (B) to the first click(position 1). In this position, the hour hand (C) moves forwards or backwardsin steps of one hour without moving the minute hand (D).

THE SECONDS RESET DEVICEThe small continuous seconds dial (E) is located at 9 o’clock. When the windingcrown (B) is pulled out to the second click (position 2), the small seconds hand

THE DIALIn order to ensure optimal levels of luminescence and greater resistance overtime, Panerai uses exclusively ‘Grade A’ Swiss Super-LumiNova®. To producethis luminous substance, special high-performance pigments are used. Thisallows an increase in the duration of the readability of approximately 35%compared to standard Super-LumiNova®.

THE STRAP AND BRACELETThe leather, the alligator, the textile and the rubber straps are hypoallergenic,as are the metal bracelets.

Starting from meridian zero (or Greenwich meridian), 24 time zones have beendefined, from 0 to +12 towards the east, and from 0 to -12 towards the west.The zero meridian has a very important function for sailors: the time atGreenwich is the reference for the calculations which enable the longitude atsea to be determined, and thus the establishment of the ship’s exact position. The GMT function enables the local time and the time in another country (hometime) to be read at the same time.

SETTING THE SECOND TIME ZONE

1. Raise the lever (A) of the device protecting the winding crown and pull outthe winding crown (B) to the first click (position 1). In this position the localtime hour hand (C) moves forwards or backwards in steps of one hourwithout moving the minute hand (D).

2. Set the local time required. The local time hour hand (C) will indicate thelocal time, that is, the time in the place where it is located at that moment.

3. SETTING THE DATE

Your watch has a gradual date change mechanism, a process which takesabout 3 hours to complete: from 10 p.m. to 1.00 a.m., with a margin of ± 30minutes. This particular method of changing the date is inspired by themechanical tradition of Swiss watchmaking, and it allows the date to bechanged in both directions, moving it either forwards or backwards.To set the date indicated, proceed as follows:1. Raise the lever (A) of the device protecting the winding crown and pull outthe winding crown (B) to the first click (position 1). Turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise moving the hour hand (C) forward until the correct date appearsin the date window located at 3 o’clock. If the date changes when the hour hand (C) goes past 12, 12 correspondsto midnight, otherwise it corresponds to midday.

WATER-RESISTANCEHave your watch checked periodically for water-resistance by an AuthorizedPanerai Service Centre and restore it every two years with regular servicing, orwhenever the watch has to be opened. Restoring the watch’s water-resistance necessarily involves replacing the sealsso as to ensure the maximum water-resistance and security. Where the watch is used in underwater sports activities, it is recommended thatit be checked every year before the season of underwater activities begins.

THE MOVEMENTHave the movement of your watch checked periodically by an AuthorizedPanerai Service Centre so as to maintain its perfect operation. If the watch tendsto gain or lose time significantly, the movement may need to be overhauled.The movements are designed to withstand temperature variations between -10°C and +60 °C (14 °F and 140 °F). Outside this range of temperatures,operational variations exceeding those set out in the specifications of themovement may be noticed. In addition, there is a risk that the lubricantscontained in the movement may deteriorate, resulting in damage to some of itsparts.

CLEANING THE EXTERIORTo keep the exterior in perfect condition, we recommend washing your Paneraiwatch with soap and lukewarm water, using a soft brush. After this operation,and also after bathing in the sea or a swimming pool, carefully rinse the watchwith clean water. All Panerai watches can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.

Your watch uses a special device for changing the strap. A pin (a), visible atthe side of each strap attachment, can be released by simultaneously pushingon the push-piece (b), located on the underside of the strap attachment andon the pin itself. A special tool (c), supplied in the box, enables this operationto be carried out with simplicity and precision. Before making the replacement,detach the two parts of the tool. To complete the replacement, afterintroducing the pin, push on the push-piece (b).

DISPOSITIF DE REMISE À ZÉRO DES SECONDESLe petit cadran des secondes continues (E) est situé à 9 heures. Lorsque lacouronne de remontoir (B) est tirée au deuxième cran (position 2), l’aiguille despetites secondes retourne automatiquement à zéro. Le dispositif de remise à zérodes secondes est un moyen très fiable de synchroniser la montre avec le signalhoraire de référence.Note: dès que la couronne est tirée au maximum pour régler l’heure, l’aiguille dessecondes retourne à zéro et le balancier s’arrête. Si la couronne de remontoir esttirée accidentellement en position 2 pour longtemps, l’opération de réglage del’heure doit être renouvelée.

RÉGLER LA DATEVotre montre est dotée d’un mécanisme de changement progressif de la date,processus qui s’effectue en trois heures environ: de 22h à 1h, avec une marge de± 30 minutes. Cette méthode spécifique de modification de la date s’inspire de latradition mécanique de l’horlogerie suisse et permet de changer la date dans lesdeux sens, en l’avançant ou en la reculant. Attention: votre montre Panerai est dotée du changement rapide de l’heure quipermet que l’aiguille des heures (C) se déplace en avant ou en arrière et que ladate change dans les deux directions, en se déplaçant en avant ou en arrière.

REMONTER LA MONTRELa montre Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic a un mouvement mécaniqueà remontage automatique avec une réserve de marche de 3 jours visualisée par undisque tournant visible sur le mouvement. Le disque complètement noir indique 72heures de réserve de marche. Le disque complètement coloré indique que la montredoit être remontée. Si la montre n’est pas utilisée pendant une longue période, il estconseillé de la remonter en faisant faire quelques tours à la couronne de remontoir (B)dans sa position initiale dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. Avant de faire tournerla couronne, ouvrir le levier (A) du dispositif de protection de la couronne de remontoir.

RÉGLER L’HEURE1. Soulever le levier (A) du dispositif protégeant la couronne de remontoir et tirer lacouronne de remontoir (B) au deuxième cran (position 2) pour régler l’heurecorrecte.

2. Vérifier que l’aiguille de l’heure locale (C) se superpose sur l’aiguilles des heures dusecond fuseau horaire (F). Si ce n’est pas le cas, replacer la couronne de remontoir(B) au premier cran (position 1). Dans cette position, l’aiguille des heures (C) peutêtre avancée heure par heure dans le sens ou dans les sens contraire de l’aiguilled’une montre. Faire coïncider l’aiguille des heures (C) avec celle du second fuseauhoraire (F) puis remettre la couronne de remontoir (B) en position 2 pour réglerl’heure correcte.

3. Remettre la couronne de remontoir (B) en position initiale (0) et fermer le levier (A)du dispositif protégeant la couronne de remontoir.

Pour un changement rapide de l’heure, tirer la couronne (B) jusqu’au premier cran(position 1). Dans cette position l’aiguille des heures (C) se déplace d’une heure enavant ou en arrière sans déplacer l’aiguille des minutes (D).

REMPLACER LE BRACELETVotre montre est dotée d’un dispositif spécifique pour changer le bracelet. Ilest possible de libérer une petite goupille (a), visible sur le côté de chaqueattache du bracelet, en faisant pression simultanément sur un poussoir (b)situé sur la face interne de l’attache du bracelet et sur la goupille elle-même.Un outil spécifique (c) fourni avec la montre, permet d’effectuer cetteopération simplement et avec précision. Avant d’effectuer le remplacement, ilest nécessaire de détacher les deux parties de l’outil. Pour compléterl’opération, après avoir réinséré la goupille, faire pression sur le poussoir (b).

LA FONCTION GMTLe système GMT («Greenwich Mean Time», temps moyen de Greenwich),également connu sous le nom de temps universel et adopté dans le monde entier,divise le globe en 24 sections d’une heure (les fuseaux horaires), chacuneéquivalente à une longitude de 15°. Le méridien de Greenwich a été choisicomme méridien de référence pour la situation des fuseaux horaires lors deconférences internationales qui se sont tenues à Rome en 1883 et à Washingtonen 1884. À partir du méridien zéro (le méridien de Greenwich), 24 fuseaux horaires ont étédéfinis, de 0 à +12 en direction de l’est, et de 0 à -12 en direction de l’ouest. Leméridien zéro est crucial pour les navigateurs: l’heure de Greenwich sert deréférence pour les calculs permettant de déterminer la longitude en mer, et doncd’établir la position exacte du bateau. La fonction GMT permet de lire en même temps l’heure locale et l’heure dans unautre pays.

RÉGLER LE SECOND FUSEAU HORAIRE1. Soulever le levier (A) du dispositif protégeant la couronne de remontoir et tirerla couronne de remontoir (B) au premier cran (position 1). Dans cette positionl’aiguille de l’heure locale (C) se déplace par intervalles d’une heure dans lesens ou dans le sens contraire de l’aiguille d’une montre sans déplacerl’aiguille des minutes (D).

2. Régler l’heure choisie. L’aiguille des heures (C) indiquera l’heure locale, c’est-à-dire l’heure qu’il est à l’endroit où la montre se trouve à ce moment.

3. Remettre la couronne de remontoir (B) en position initiale (0) et fermer le levier(A) du dispositif protégeant la couronne de remontoir.L’aiguille du second fuseau horaire (F) indiquera l’heure qu’il est dans le paysd’origine. Cette aiguille se déplace comme l’aiguille de l’heure locale (C),effectuant un tour complet en 12 heures.

CONSEILS D’ENTRETIENLes montres Panerai sont réalisées dans le respect de normes de qualité trèsélevées. ÉTANCHÉITÉFaites vérifier régulièrement l’étanchéité de votre montre par un Centred’Entretien Agréé par Panerai, et faites-la contrôler tous les deux ans, dans lecadre d’un entretien régulier ou lorsqu’elle doit être ouverte. La vérification de l’étanchéité implique nécessairement le remplacement desjoints, afin de garantir une étanchéité et une sécurité maximales. Um die Uhrlangfristig noch zuverlässiger zu machen, verfügt die Aufzugskrone jetzt über eine kleineStellmutter, über die der Uhrmacher die erforderliche Schließkraft derKronenschutzbrücke regulieren kann. Die Brückenkonstruktion schützt die Krone nichtnur vor Stößen und Beschädigungen. Sie spielt auch eine wichtige Rolle bei derGewährleistung der Wasserdichtheit des Gehäuses, indem ihr Arretierungshebel dieKrone präzis fixiert. Dieser Hebel ist in der mit den Gravuren REG. T.M. (Registeredtrademark) versehenen Brücke gelagert und drückt exakt mittig auf die Krone. Dabeigarantiert eine speziell ausgeformte Gleitrolle einen verschleißfreien Kontakt mit derKronenoberfläche. Das Saphirglas wird aus Korund gewonnen, dem nach Diamantenhärtesten Material überhaupt. Es ist vollkommen rein und durchsichtig, dabei kratzfestund entspiegelt. Der verschraubte Gehäuseboden aus Saphirglas gibt den Blick frei aufdas Haute Horlogerie-Uhrwerk. Eine Gravur auf dem Gehäuseboden dokumentiert dieNummer des Gehäuses, die fortlaufende Nummer der Uhr mit der Nummer der jährlichenProduktion, das Material und die maximale Druck- bzw. Tiefenfestigkeit der Uhr.Die Wasserdichtheit Ihrer Uhr, die auf den Gehäuseboden mit den Symbol angezeigt wird, ist in Bar ausgewiesen. Dies entspricht dem hydrostatischen Druck, denunter normalen Bedingungen eine Wassersäule von bestimmter Höhe auf eine Flächevon einem Quadratzentimeter ausübt. Die jeweiligen Entsprechungen sind: 3 Bar ~ 30Meter; 5 Bar ~ 50 Meter; 10 Bar ~ 100 Meter; 30 Bar ~ 300 Meter.

DAS ZIFFERBLATTUm optimale Leuchtkraft und erhöhte Beständigkeit zu gewährleisten, verwendetPanerai ausschließlich Swiss Super-LumiNova® der Qualitätsstufe „A“. Bei derHerstellung dieser Leuchtsubstanz kommen spezielle leistungsstarke Pigmentezum Einsatz. Dadurch verlängert sich die Ablesbarkeitsdauer gegenüberherkömmlichem Super-LumiNova® um rund 35 %.

DIE SEKUNDENRÜCKSTELLUNGDie kleine Sekundenanzeige (E) befindet sich auf der 9-Uhr-Position. Wird dieAufzugskrone (B) bis zum zweiten Rastpunkt (Position 2) herausgezogen,stellt sich der kleine Zeiger augenblicklich auf Null. Diese Rückstellungermöglicht eine äußerst exakte Synchronisierung der Uhr mit externenZeitanzeigen bzw. -signalen.Anmerkung: Bei Betätigung der Rückstellfunktion stellt sich derSekundenzeiger auf Null und die Unruh wird vorübergehend gestoppt. Solltedie Aufzugskrone einmal versehentlich über einen längeren Zeitraum bis zurPosition 2 herausgezogen werden, muss die Uhrzeit ggfs. neu eingestelltwerden.

EINSTELLEN DES DATUMSDer tägliche Wechsel der Datumsanzeige erfolgt fließend zwischen 22 Uhr und1 Uhr morgens (mit einer Toleranz von ±30 Minuten). Der auf schweizerischerUhrmachertradition beruhende Mechanismus ermöglicht eineDatumseinstellung in beide Richtungen. Die einzelnen Schritte lauten wie folgt:1. Hebel (A) der Kronenschutzbrücke lösen, Aufzugskrone (B) bis zum erstenRastpunkt (Position 1) herausziehen. Im oder gegen den Uhrzeigersinndrehen, indem man den Stundenzeiger (C) bewegt, bis das korrekte Datumim Fenster auf der 3-Uhr-Position erscheint.Verstellt sich das Datum, wenn der Stundenzeiger (C) die 12-Uhr-Positionüberschreitet, entspricht die 12-Uhr-Position Mitternacht, ansonstenhandelt es sich um 12 Uhr mittags.

2. Aufzugskrone (B) wieder vollständig eindrücken (Position 0) und mit demHebel (A) der Kronenschutzbrücke arretieren.

Hinweis: Ihre Panerai Uhr weist eine Datumsschnelleinstellung auf. DerStundenzeiger (C) kann vorwärts und rückwärts in 1-Stunden-Schrittenverstellt werden, wodurch das Datum in beide Richtungen eingestellt werdenkann.

AUFZIEHEN DER UHRDie Uhr Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic verfügt über einmechanisches Uhrwerk mit Automatikaufzug und 3 Tagen Gangreserve,ablesbar auf einer rotierenden Scheibe auf dem Uhrwerk. Ist diese komplettschwarz, verfügt die Uhr noch über 72 Stunden Gangautonomie. Ist diesekomplett farbig, muss sie aufgezogen werden. Wenn die Uhr für längere Zeitnicht bewegt wird, sollten Sie sie durch einige Drehungen der Krone (B) imUhrzeigersinn wieder aufziehen. Lösen Sie vor dem Drehen der Krone denHebel (A) der Kronensicherung ohne die Krone dabei herauszuziehen.

EINSTELLEN DER UHRZEIT1. Hebel (A) der Kronenschutzbrücke lösen, Aufzugskrone (B) bis zum zweitenRastpunkt (Position 2) herausziehen um die richtige Uhrzeit einzustellen.

2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Zeiger zur Angabe der Ortszeit (C) genauüber dem Zeiger der zweiten Zeitzone (F) liegt. Ist dies nicht der Fall, drückenSie die Aufzugskrone (B) wieder bis zum ersten Rastpunkt ein (Position 1).In dieser Position kann der Stundenzeiger (C) in 1-Stunden-Schritten,vorwärts oder rückwärts, bewegt werden. Bewegen Sie den Stundenzeiger(C) genau über den Zeiger der zweiten Zeitzone (F). Ziehen Sie nun die Krone(B) wieder bis zur Position 2 heraus und stellen Sie die Uhrzeit ein.

3. Aufzugskrone (B) wieder vollständig eindrücken (Position 0) und mit demHebel (A) der Kronenschutzbrücke arretieren.

AUSTAUSCH DES ARMBANDSIhre Uhr verfügt über ein spezielles Ver- und Entriegelungssystem, das deneinfachen Austausch des Armbands ermöglicht. Im Lieferumfang der Uhr istein geeignetes Werkzeug (c) enthalten, welches der einfachen und präzisenAusführung dieses Vorgangs dient. Schrauben Sie das Werkzeug zunächst inzwei Teile. Zum Lösen des Stiftes (a), dessen Enden an den Seiten derBandanstöße sichtbar sind, drücken Sie mit Hilfe der beiden Werkzeugteilegleichzeitig den Drücker (b) an der Unterseite des Bandanstoßes und auf denStift selbst. Schließen Sie den Austausch ab, indem Sie nach dem Einführendes Stiftes wieder den Drücker (b) betätigen und den Stift somit verriegeln.

DIE GMT-FUNKTIONDie weltweit angewandte Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), auch bekannt alsUniversalzeit, beruht auf der Unterteilung der Erdoberfläche in 24 genau gleicheZeitzonen, wovon jede von zwei Längengraden begrenzt wird. Die Entfernungzwischen zwei äquivalenten Punkten in zwei aneinander grenzenden Zonenentspricht 15°, d.h. einer Stunde. Der Nullmeridian in Greenwich wurde alsReferenzmeridian zur Bestimmung von Zeitzonen von den InternationalenMeridiankonferenzen in Rom (1883) und Washington (1884) verbindlichfestgelegt. Ausgehend vom Nullmeridian (oder Greenwich-Meridian) bestimmteman 24 Zeitzonen mit Zeitunterschieden von +12 in Richtung Osten und von -12in Richtung Westen. Das Lederarmband ist aus nicht chemisch behandeltem Leder gefertigt, sodass es eine sehr natürliche und geschmeidige Haptik hat. WASSERDICHTIGKEIT

Lassen Sie die Wasserdichtigkeit Ihrer Uhr regelmäßig von einem autorisiertenPanerai-Händler prüfen, spätestens alle zwei Jahre bei der regelmäßigenWartung und immer, wenn die Uhr geöffnet werden muss.Die Wiederherstellung der Wasserdichtigkeit erfordert die regelmäßigeErneuerung der Dichtungsringe, um maximale Sicherheit undWasserdichtigkeit zu gewährleisten.Wenn die Uhr beim Wassersport getragen wird, sollte diejenige jedes Jahrüberprüft werden bevor mit dem Wassersport begonnen wird.

UHRWERKDamit Ihre Uhr stets in einwandfreiem Betriebszustand ist, sollte das Uhrwerk regelmäßig von einem autorisierten Panerai-Händler überprüft werden. Solltedie Uhr zum deutlichen Vor- oder Nachgehen neigen, könnte eine Wartung desUhrwerks erforderlich sein. DISPOSITIVO DE PUESTA A CERO DEL SEGUNDERO

La esfera pequeña del segundero contínuo (E) está situada a las 9 horas.Cuando la corona de dar cuerda (B) se saca hasta el segundo clic (posición2), la manecilla del segundero pequeño vuelve a cero automáticamente. Eldispositivo de puesta a cero es una forma extremadamente precisa desincronizar el reloj con la señal horaria de referencia.Atención: en cuanto el dispositivo de puesta a cero se pone enfuncionamiento, la manecilla vuelve a cero y el volante se para. Siaccidentalmente se tira de la corona hasta la posición 2, la consiguientepuesta a cero de la manecilla del segundero, conlleva un necesario ajuste dela hora nuevamente.

AJUSTE DE LA FECHA Su reloj dispone de un mecanismo de cambio de fecha gradual, un proceso quetarda unas 3 horas en completarse: de las 22.00 h a la 1.00 h, con un margende unos 30 minutos. Este particular método de cambio de fecha está inspiradoen la tradición mecánica de la fabricación relojera suiza, y permite tantoadelantar la fecha como atrasarla. Para ajustar la fecha, siga estas instrucciones:1. Levantar la palanca (A) del dispositivo protector de la corona y tirar de lacorona de dar cuerda (B) hasta el primer clic (posición 1). Girar en el sentidode las agujas del reloj o en el contrario moviendo hacia delante la agujahoraria (C) hasta que aparezca la fecha correcta en la ventanilla situada a las3 horas. Si la fecha se cambia cuando la aguja horaria (C) pasa de las 12h, elreloj interpretará que son de la medianoche, mientras que de lo contrario,serán del mediodía.

2. Devolver la corona de dar cuerda (B) a la posición inicial (0) y cerrar la palanca(A) del dispositivo protector de la corona.

Atención: su reloj Panerai tiene el cambio rápido de la hora que permite que laaguja de las horas (C) se mueva hacia adelante o hacia atrás et que la fechacambie en los dos sentidos, hacia adelante o hacia atrás.

DAR CUERDAEl reloj Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic dispone de un movimientomecánico automático con una reserva de marcha de 3 días, indicada por undisco giratorio en el movimiento. Cuando el disco está completamente negro lareserva de marcha es de 72 horas. El disco completamente colorado indica quees necesario dar cuerda al reloj. Si el reloj permanece parado durante muchotiempo, se recomienda que le dé cuerda manteniendo la corona de dar cuerda(B) en la posición inicial y girándola unas pocas veces en el sentido de las agujasdel reloj, tras levantar la palanca (A) del dispositivo protector de la corona.

PUESTA EN HORA1. Levantar la palanca (A) del dispositivo protector de la corona y tirar de lacorona de dar cuerda (B) hasta el segundo clic (posición 2) para ajuster lahora correcta.

2. Asegurarse de que la aguja horaria de la hora local (C) está superpuesta a laaguja de la segunda zona horaria (F). Si no es así, empujar la corona de darcuerda (B) hasta el primer clic (posición 1). En esta posición, la aguja horaria(C) puede moverse a saltos de una hora, adelante o hacía atrás. Hacer que laaguja horaria (C) coincida con la aguja de la segunda zona horaria (F). Volvera colocar la corona (B) hasta el segundo clic (posición 2) para ajustar la horacorrecta.

CAMBIO DE LA CORREA

Su reloj utiliza un dispositivo especial para cambiar la correa y el brazalete.Una clavija (a), visible al lado de cada unión de la correa, se puede soltarpresionando simultáneamente sobre un pequeño pulsador (b), situado en laparte interior de la unión de la correa, y sobre la propia clavija. Unaherramienta especial (c), que se suministra con el reloj Panerai, permite llevara cabo esta operación con facilidad y precisión. El meridiano de Greenwich fue elegido como el meridiano dereferencia para la localización de las zonas horarias en la conferenciainternacional que tuvo lugar en Roma en 1883 y en Washington en 1884. Comenzando del meridiano cero (o meridiano de Greenwich), se definieron 24zonas horarias, de 0 a +12 hacia el este, y de 0 a –12 hacia el oeste. AJUSTANDO A DATA

Seu relógio tem um mecanismo gradual de mudança de data, um processoque demora cerca de 3 horas para ser concluído: das 22 horas à 1 hora, commargem de ± 30 minutos. Quando totalmente preto, o disco indicaque o relógio está com corda completa, e quando totalmente colorido, indicaque o relógio precisa de corda. Se o relógio ficar parado por muito tempo, érecomendável dar corda novamente com alguns giros no sentido horário dacoroa de corda (B) na posição inicial, após levantar a alavanca (A) dodispositivo que protege a coroa.

AJUSTANDO AS HORAS

ЗАВОД ЧАСОВ

Ваши часы Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic оснащеныавтоматичес-ким механизмом с запасом хода 3 дня. Индикатор запасахода расположен на вращающемся диске на механизме. Полностьючерный диск показывает, что запас хода составляет 72 часа. Полностьюкрасный диск указывает, что часы нужно завести. Если Вы не пользуетесьчасами в течение долгого времени, рекомендуется их завестинесколькими поворотами заводной головки (B) (исходное положение) почасовой стрелке после поднятия рычажка защитного устройства (A).

УСТАНОВКА ВРЕМЕНИ

1. Для установки точного времени откройте рычаг защитного устройства(A) и вытяните заводную головку (B) до второго щелчка (положение 2).

2. Убедитесь, что часовая стрелка, указывающая местное время (C),находится над стрелкой второго часового пояса (F). В противномслучае верните заводную головку на один щелчок (положение 1). Вэтом положении часовую стрелку (C) можно перемещать вперед илиназад с шагом в один час. Переведите часовую стрелку местноговремени (C) так, чтобы она совпала со стрелкой второго часового пояса(F). Затем вытяните заводную головку (B) до второго щелчка(положение 2), чтобы установить точное время.

УСТАНОВКА ВРЕМЕНИ ВТОРОГО ЧАСОВОГО ПОЯСА

1. Откройте рычаг защитного устройства (A) и вытяните заводнуюголовку (B) до первого щелчка (положение 1). В этом положениичасовую стрелку местного времени (C) можно перемещать вперед илиназад с шагом в один час, при этом минутная стрелка (D) остаетсянеподвижной.

2. Установите требуемое местное время. Часовая стрелка местноговремени (C) будет указывать местное время, то есть время той страны,в которой Вы находитесь в данный момент.

3. Верните заводную головку (B) в начальное положение (0) и закройтерычаг устройства защиты заводной головки (A).

УСТРОЙСТВО СБРОСА ПОКАЗАНИЙ СЕКУНДНОЙ СТРЕЛКИ НА НОЛЬ

Маленький циферблат с секундной стрелкой (E) находится в положении«9 часов». В момент установки заводной головки (B) в положение 2 (дващелчка) маленькая секундная стрелка устанавливается в нулевоеположение. Устройство сброса показаний секундной стрелки являетсяочень точным инструментом синхронизации часов с сигналом точноговремени. Примечание: В момент включения функции сброса показаний секунднойстрелки происходит возврат стрелки в нулевое положение и остановкабаланса. Если заводную головку непреднамеренно вытянуть вположение 2, то показания секундной стрелки будут сброшены на ноль, аэто означает, что точное время придется устанавливать заново.

УСТАНОВКА ДАТЫ

Часы оснащены механизмом смены даты. Этот процесс занимаетприблизительно 3 часа и происходит между 22:00 и 01:00 часом утра ± 30минут. Этот особый способ смены даты был вдохновлен традиционнымишвейцарскими механизмами и позволяет проводить корректировку датыкак вперед, так и назад. Для установки даты:1. Откройте рычаг (A) защитного механизма заводной головки и вытяните

заводную головку (B) в положение 1 (один щелчок). Поворачивайте еепо часовой или против часовой стрелки до тех пор, пока в окошке,находящемся в положении «3 часа», не появится нужная дата.Если дата меняется при прохождении часовой стрелки (C) черезотметку «12 часов», то «12 часов» означает полночь. Если дата неменяется, то «12 часов» означает полдень.

2. Верните заводную головку (B) в исходное положение (0) и закройтерычаг (A) защитного устройства заводной головки.

РЕКОМЕНДАЦИИ ПО ТЕХНИЧЕСКОМУ ОБСЛУЖИВАНИЮ Часы Panerai производятся в соответствии с высочайшими стандартамикачества. ЧИСТКА КОРПУСА ЧАСОВ
