Consiglio Generalizio Il Consiglio Generalizio in settembre si è tenuto nei giorni 4 e 5 per definire il programma della Conferenza dei Superiori di Circoscrizione, che si terrà a Messina Cristo Re dal 14 al 19 ottobre, durante la quale si avvierà la preparazione del prossimo Capitolo Generale con la scelta del tema particolare.

9839. Decesso di P. Gennaro Nella tarda serata di martedì 20 agosto, nella Casa Madre di Messina, all'età di 94 anni è tornato alla Casa del Padre P. Euprepio Gennaro. Era nato ad Erchie (Br) il 22 marzo 1925, entrato ad Oria il 21 novembre 1936, emesso la professione perpet-ua ad Assisi il 19 marzo 1949, ordinato sacerdote a Messina il 3 agosto 1952. Nel corso della sua vita ha esercitato diversi uffici a servizio della Congregazione in di-verse Case, nell'insegnamento, nella direzione e nella pastorale. Dal 2003 risiedeva presso la Casa Madre di Messina esercitando con molta generosità e frutto il minis-tero della riconciliazione. Da anni ammalato, ha continuato fino all'ultimo il suo

servizio di confessore. 9840. Maria Palma Matarrelli

Lovanio (Belgio). Dal 6 settembre al 31 ottobre p.v., si terrà a Lovanio una esposizio-ne intitolata “WONDE/R. De fascinatie voor het lijdende lichaam” (“FERITA/MIRACOLO. Il fascino del corpo sofferente”) che presenterà il fenomeno mistico del-la stigmatizzazione dal basso medioevo alla metà del XX secolo. All'interno della mo-stra ci sarà una sezione dedicata a Maria Palma Matarrelli (Oria, 1825 - 1888), veg-gente e stigmatizzata, conosciuta ed ammirata da sant’Annibale Maria Di Francia. Per

Lunedì 23 settembre, alle ore 18.00, nei locali messi a disposizione della Diocesi, in comodato d'uso gratuito, dalla Comunità del Villaggio del Fanciullo S. Antonio di Matera, l'arcivescovo mons. Antonio Giuseppe Caiazzo, benedirà ed inaugurerà la "Dispensa Cibus" per la raccolta dell'eccedenza alimentare proveniente dalla cit-tà di Matera. Si tratta di un lodevole progetto che va avanti già da quattro anni e che riscuote tanta solidarietà date le sue finalità caritative.

Palermo – Intitolazione della rotonda Con provvedimento del competente Ufficio Toponomastica, Area delle Culture del Comune di Palermo, accogliendo la richiesta esplicita del Su-periore della Casa di Palermo, P. Massimiliano Nobile, in occasione del 40° anniversario della presenza dei Rogazionisti nello stabile di via Castel-lana, è stato disposto, secondo l'autorizzazione della Prefettura di Palermo del 25 luglio 2019, che la Rotonda, che si colloca tra il viale Leonardo da

Vinci, il viale Mauro De Mauro e la via Castellana, sarà intitolata "Rotonda Padri Rogazionisti". L'inaugurazione e la benedizione della stessa avverrà domenica 22 settembre e sarà preceduta da un triduo di preghiera nella parrocchia Gesù Sacerdote.

9843. XXXI Meeting ERA Si è svolto nei giorni dal 1° al 4 agosto a Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD) il XXXI Meeting ERA sul te-ma della recente GMG di questo anno: "Eccomi sono la Serva del Signore". Molti i giovani da tut-ta Europa convenuti nella località balneare che offre anche riposo e ristoro...circa 350. I temi ma-riani secondo il volere del Papa, accompagneranno le prossime GMG e il cammino spirituale dei giovani di tutto il mondo. Ringraziamo il Signore per tutti i meeting di questi 31 anni e per tutti i giovani incontrati e per tutte le vocazioni, anche rogazioniste, che l'Associazione ERA ha donato alla Chiesa e al mondo. Un ringraziamento speciale ai Padri Stefan Danko e Matteo Fogliata per l'assistenza spirituale ai giovani. 9844. Epifanie on the road

È uscito, nei primi di agosto, l'ennesimo libro di P. Gaetano Lo Russo: 49 racconti per ricominciare a volare, come spiega l'autore nel sottotitolo. Il titolo invece è: Epifanie on the road. Già il titolo ci fa intuire che sono rivelazioni e incontri col Signore sulla strada degli uomini, lungo il corso della vita dell'autore. Il P. Gaetano ha annunciato che il libro è dedicato al compianto P. Mario Longhi, uomo di misericordia sulla stra-da, e che i proventi andranno per i bambini di strada di Nyanza.

9845. Rinnovazione dei voti e …. Partenze! Dopo aver rinnovato i voti, i nostri confratelli studenti della Provincia, fr. Peter, fr. Matej e fr. Iakub stanno spiccando il volo per l’anno di magistero o tirocinio pratico verso nuovi lidi della Provincia. Fr. Iakub andrà a svolgere la sua espe-rienza formativa presso la nostra Casa di Manizales in Colombia, nell’apostola-to vocazionale e in quello tra i poveri. Già quest’estate ha fatto ivi una prima

esperienza. Fr. Peter andrà invece verso orizzonti più lontani: in Papua Nuova Guinea, mentre fr. Matej andrà in Brasile a Vittorino Freire...sempre tra i poveri....come Peter in Papua. Sono stati gli stessi confratelli ammirevolmente a dare la loro disponibilità per questa esperienza in terre povere

L'esperienza di Ischia 2019 è terminata il 13 settembre. Un'occasione ogni anno per un tempo di riflessione, fraternità e relax, soprattutto per i confratelli che non hanno possibilità di fare vacanze. Quest'anno il nume-ro ridotto a sette non ha ostacolato l'esperienza che si sta rivelando bella e fruttuosa. Il tema scelto dal Superiore Provinciale che guida questi giorni, è quello patristico: una carrellata di scritti scelti dai più celebri Padri della Chiesa. Testi che aiutano in maniera sorprendente ad interpretare ancora

il presente, nonostante secoli di storia.

9847. Congresso Vocacional

O 4º Congresso Vocacional do Brasil, mobilizará a Igreja no Brasil em vista de refletir sobre a questão das vocações em nossa realidade eclesial. O tema vocacional é urgente e os novos contextos sócio-eclesiais exigem eficácia na apresentação de propostas vocacionais e a sua aplicação entre os jovens e as famílias, para que a Cultura Vocacional seja promovida em nossa realidade. Por este motivo realizar um congresso em todo país objetiva efetivar esta cultura nas comunidades eclesiais. Assim, o 4º Congresso Vocacional almeja despertar sobre a necessidade da oração em prol das vocações e

expandir o tema vocacional, principalmente sobre a arte do discernimento vocacional tão urgente e necessário em nossa pastoral. Esta edição acontece de 05 a 08 de setembro de 2019, em Aparecida (SP). São esperadas cerca de 650 pessoas. O congresso é promovido pela Conferência dos Religiosos do Brasil (CRB) e Instituto de Pastoral Vocacional (IPV). A comitiva de apoio e participação dos Rogacionistas é composta pelo Superior Provincial, Pe. Geraldo Tadeu Furtado, e demais coirmãos Pe. Ângelo Ademir Mezzari, Pe. Juarez Albino Destro, Pe. Reinaldo de Sousa Leitão, Pe. Henrique de Lima Mateus e Ir. Silas de Oliveira. 9848. Simpósio de Educadores

O 7º Simpósio Regional de Educadores Rogacionistas realizado de 12 a 14 de setembro de 2019, teve como tema: “O Agir Socioeducativo Rogacionista” e como lema: “Transformação à luz dos 04 pilares da educação, do SUAS e do PNE”. O objetivo principal do evento foi aprofundar a vivência, a prática e a metodologia socioeducacional da Pedagogia do Rogate. O Simpósio aconteceu nas dependências da Escola de Educação Infantil, unidade Socioeducativa de Gravataí (RS). O Simpósio foi coordenado pelo Pe. Marcos Lourenço Cardoso, rcj, Conselheiro do Serviço da Caridade e Missão.

Encontro Ampliado Área Hispânica De 19 a 21 de setembro em São Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, acontece a reunião ampliada da Rede de Educação Rogacionista (EDUCAR) com o tema: “Princípios Pedagógicos Rogacionistas”. Participam educadores das Unidades Socioeducativas de Campana e Tucuman, na Argentina. O Encontro é coordenado pelo Conselheiro da área, Pe. Marcos Lourenço Cardoso, rcj.

Meeting of the Local Treasurers The Oasis of Prayer in Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite hosted the encounter of all the Local Treasurers of the St. Matthew Province, held on September 5-6, 2019. The meeting was a moment of training and formation on the basic duties and responsibilities of those in-charge of animating the econom-ic situation of the religious houses, in coordination with their provincial counterpart. 9853. Institution in the Ministries of Lector and Acolyte

At the Holy Spirit Chapel of the Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies, Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ, the Provincial Superior, instituted in the minis-tries of Lector nine religious students and of Acolyte another fourteen, in a rite incorporated in the celebration of the Holy Mass. As has been the tradition at the St. Matthew Province, this event, which was graced by the presence of families, confreres, seminarians and friends, falls on the day of the commemoration of the birth Blessed Virgin Mary - the 8th of September, 2019.

St. Hannibal Formation Center – Cebu 9854. Opening of the Annual Sportsfest 2019-20 From August 21-26, the Community organized their annual Sportsfest for this formation year 2019-2020. In the morning, they gathered around the gym with their opening prayer and activity and the game started. After some friendship games, they finished it at 4:00pm. After that, the seminari-ans had their house cleaning then followed the normal schedule. 9855. Three-day Vocation Orientation From August 30 to September 1, the Community held a three-day vocation orientation. The candi-dates started arrived in the afternoon of August 30, until they were fifteen students coming from different schools in Cebu. The seminarians helped prepare the dormitory for the accommodation. For the aspiring seminarians, the Community organized a lot of activities such as conference and etc. They followed the same schedule together with the seminarians. 9856. Family Day 2019 On September 8, the Community held a whole day of Family Day for our apostolate every Sunday. It started with the Mass in the morning with Fr. Rogie Quinga, as the main celebrant, followed by some activities such as outdoor and indoor games. The seminarians facilitated the children who were organized according to their sitio places. 9857. 30th Foundation Anniversary of the Seminary On September 21, the community will celebrate their 30th anniversary, with the dinner for a cause to be held on September 28. The program will start in the evening, which will be followed by some activities. This event will be meant for the renovation of the seminary building, and that is why a lot of friends and benefactors will be invited. St. Anthony’s Boys Village – Silang, Cavite 9858. SABV Sportsfest 2019 The SABV Sportsfest 2019 was organized, with the theme "In Sports we are all Beloved, Gifted and Empowered". It was held in St. Francis Sports Center last September 8, 2019. started exactly at 1:00 PM, with the parade and the entrance of colors. The opening prayer was led by Bro. Eduardo De Palma, RCJ followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the opening remarks by Fr. Vincent Dumdum, RCJ, superior of the SABV. St. Catherine of Siena Parish – Pangasinan 9859. Blessings of the Cross in the Houses The priests in the Community, on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross on September 14, will bless the crosses in the houses as they visit the families within the parish community. There will also be an anticipated Mass in the Barangay. Rogationist Mission – Indonesia 9860. 50th Anniversary of STFK Ledalero On September 08, Feast of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Community celebrated the 50th anniversary of Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat Katolik Ledalero (philosophy and theology school of Ledalero) and at the same the opening of the school year 2019-2020. The mass was held in Aula Yosef Freinademetz, Ledalero-Maumere. The Mass is presided by Fr. Paul Budi Kleden, the Supe-rior General of SVDs. Program and lunch were held in the Aula of STFK Ledalero. 9861. Rogationist Mission Day in Maumere On September 15, instead of celebrating the Rogationist Mission Day last September 08, the Com-munity celebrated it this day. For the whole morning, there was on talk about mission given by Fr. Tirso Alcover. The Mass is in the afternoon, which will be presided by Fr. Elmer Dula and concel-ebrated by Fr. Tirso and Fr. Ferdinandus. During the Mass, the seminarians will offer the contribu-tion gathered to be given to the community in Angola-Africa. 9862. Monthly recollection, outing and Tree plantation On September 28, all the seminarians are going to Wailiti to have their monthly recollection to be given by Fr. Tirso Alcover, RCJ. The recollection will begin at 9.00 am and will end at 10 am. Aside from the monthly recollection, the seminarians together with the priests will plant trees around the seminary. In the afternoon, there will be an organized amazing race and programs that will be provided by the cultural committee.

9863. September 2 – Rog Leaders meeting at Rogate Charity Centre The Rogate Charity Centre under the care of Fr. Anish Kannampuzha organized one-day meeting of all the Rog leaders who are coordinating with our adoption at a distance program in view of the incoming meeting of different Rog-units of our Charity Centre. 9864. September 5 – Teachers day Celebration at Rogationist Academy, Aluva Rogationist Academy had the Teacher’s day celebration with all the students and staff. Students presented to teachers a bouquet of flowers while management gave appreciation for their commit-ment with a small token of appreciation. RA choir offered dances and songs to cheer the celebra-tion. 9865. Onam Celebrations The traditional Onam celebration, the typical feast of Goodness and Prosperity of Kerala People, falls on September 11. However, the Rogationist Academy celebrated it on September 6 with a variety of colorful elements. The celebration started with the Holy Mass and went ahead with the Pookalam contest (Decorations with Flowers). In between the students had their fun games and ‘special onam payasam’ was served to all. The teachers did some traditional dances to cheer up the students and some fun games for all the staff, students and management. On Septeber 11, the ‘Onam’ day itself, all the three communities of the campus celebrated the fes-tivities at the Rogate Ashram which started at 9.00 with Pookalam Contest and proceeded with fun games and entertainments and concluded with the solemn vegetarian meals in banana leaves.

9866. September 7 – RA Academy ‘Open House’ The Rogationist Academy had its ‘Open House’ wherein parents were given the possibility to come and meet Principal, teachers and management. The whole day was allotted for them so that they could have better clarification, evaluation and coordination with RA and in particular for the integral growth of their children.

9867. September 7 - Diaconate of Bros. Simoj, Nikhil and Albin Three religious students of St. Thomas Quasi Province, Simoj, Nikhil and Albin, were ordained deacons by his Excellency Mathew Vaniakizhakkel at Rogate Ashram Chapel at 5.30 PM in the concelebrated Holy Eucharis-tic Celebration. Dinner and a festive program followed after.

9868. September 13 – Starting of Rog-unit meetings Today is the start of the official meetings of the different Rog-Units which lasts for three weeks. Various Rog-Unit members will come and to have their annual encounter with the Rogationists and those responsible on Saturdays and Sundays of the coming weeks, 9869. September 13 & 14 – Frs. Varghese and Vinu attend training program on ‘Legal compliances for educational institutions’ Frs. Varghese and Vinu participated in the two-day training program for all those work in educa-tion institutions organized by Supreme Court advocate Mr. Jose Abraham. The program aims to update the educational managers with the legal compliances and issues related to educational in-stitutions. 9870. September 17 – Postulants goes to Nalgonda for one Month mission experience Postulants from our Rogationist Spirituality Centre/Postulants formation House together with their Prefect Fr. Lijo Kalarickal went to Nalgonda for a month-long mission experience. 9871. September 20 – Trip of the Children at St. Anthony’s Boys Home, Hewadiwela, Sri Lanka Community organized a one-day pleasure trip for our children after having completed their stud-ies. The probation officers and child welfare officers also joined the trip in the leisure place at Morutuwa, Negambo. 9872. September 26 - Bros. Jinto and Amal go Kandy, Sri Lanka Brothers Jinto Pulparambil and Amal Baby Kettupurakal transferred to the Blessed Sacrament Scholasticate in Kandy, Sri Lanka in view of their transfer to the Kandy National Seminary for their theological studies. Bro. Jinto will enter continue his second year of theology while Bro. Amal will start the first year of theology there.

9873. Bukavu – RDC Ordinazioni sacerdotali En date du 4 août 2019 en la paroisse St. Pierre Claver, dans l’archidiocèse de Bukavu en RDC, a eu lieu l’ordination presbytérale de notre confrère P. Wito Mwaruro Blaise par les mains de monseigneur François Xavier Maroyi, ar-chevêque de Bukavu. La joie était immense pour toute l’Eglise, notre Congré-gation et surtout notre Quasi Province St. Joseph d’Afrique qui, dans cette céré-monie était représentée par le Supérieur Majeur P. Humenansky Jozef et toute la famille du Rogate (les Rogationnistes et les Filles du Divine Zeal). Cette même joie a continué une semaine après le 11 août où le père Mageza Célestin, des mains de monseigneur Servilien Nzakamwita évêque de Byumba

au Rwanda, a reçu l’ordination sacerdotale dans sa paroisse natale nommée Nyinawimana (Mère de Dieu). Nombreux étaient des Rogationnistes, les Filles du divin Zèle, les autres prêtres, reli-gieux et religieuses et surtout les fidèles de ladite paroisse. Rendons grâce au Seigneur et Maître de la moisson, lui qui, dans sa bonté, ne cesse de donner à notre congrégation les vocations. 9874. Ngoya – Professioni Perpetue e Rinnovazioni

La communauté du Scolasticat Saint Hannibal de Ngoya brillait de mille feux en cette journée féérique du 7 septembre 2019. En effet, six confrères ont émis leurs vœux perpétuels pour le compte de notre pieux Institut de la Rogation évangélique, dans les mains du P. Jozef Humenansky, Supérieur Majeur de notre Circonscription, durant la messe présidée par ce dernier. Il

s’agit des frères Giscard Erepe, Charles Irakiza, Clovis Mabou, Emmanuel Muhoza, Yannick Ngetchounzo et Daniel Sông Balog, et dix-sept autres qui ont renouvelés leurs vœux religieux. En raison du calendrier qui la prévoyait dimanche, nous avons célébré de manière anticipée en ce jour, la fête de la Nativité de la Vierge Marie « Bambinella », afin de rendre possible la présence des prêtres et accompagnateurs spirituels qui sont tenus par les charges pastorales. Toutes nos communautés présentes au Cameroun y étaient représentées afin de soutenir dans la prière et l’ac-tion de grâce les élus du jour.

Assemblea Generale Nel corso dell'Assemblea Generale delle Missionarie Rogazioniste si è proceduto, nella mattinata del 24 agosto 2019, presso il Centro Getse-mani di Capaccio-Paestum (SA), all'elezione della nuova Responsabile Generale e del suo Consiglio. Le Missionarie hanno designato come nuova Responsabile per il sessennio 2019-2025 la Sig.ra Filomena Amato, che sarà affiancata da: Stefania Robledo, Vice Responsabile ed Economa e Beatrice Nyirandikuryayo, Seconda Consigliera. A loro

il fervido augurio di buon apostolato e buona missione, nella comunione del Carisma del Rogate.

Famiglie Rog 9876. A Paestum (Sa) – Esercizi spirituali

Dal 19 al 23 agosto si sono celebrati a Paestum, presso il centro Ge-tsemani di Capaccio, gli esercizi spirituali delle Famiglie Rog, giunti quest'anno alla loro 35ª edizione. Quest'anno l'incontro è stato arric-chito dalla presenza dell'Unione delle Associazioni Rogazioniste (UAR) e dalle Missionarie Rogazioniste. È stata quindi un'occasione per condividere e gioire nel Signore per il Carisma del Rogate, conse-gnato alla Chiesa grazie a Sant'Annibale Maria Di Francia. Ha con-

dotto le meditazioni P. Silvano Pinato, che ha animato la Lectio Divina sul Discorso della monta-gna del Vangelo di Matteo ai capitoli 5-7. Sono stati presenti agli esercizi anche P. Gilson L. Maia, Consigliere Generale per il Laicato, P. Rosario Graziosi, Consigliere Provinciale per il lai-cato e P. Matteo Sanavio. Nella celebrazione della Messa conclusiva, presieduta da P. Bruno Rampazzo, Superiore Generale, si è concluso questo ricco incontro delle realtà rogazioniste, che porterà certamente grandi frutti spirituali.

San Michele Arcangelo è stato proclamato dal

Padre Fondatore speciale Patrono dell’Opera

fin dai suoi inizi; infatti, ha lasciato scritto: “Il

culto dei Santi Angeli sarà sempre in vigore

nella Congregazione. Si onorerà in modo spe-

cialissimo il glorioso san Michele, sotto la cui

speciale protezione e difesa sono poste tutte le

opere della Rogazione Evangelica del Cuore di

Gesù”. Padre Annibale, inoltre, affidò alla pro-

tezione di San Michele, con una supplica,

“tutte le Case della Rogazione Evangelica del

Cuore di Gesù e delle Figlie del Divino Zelo”,

il 30 settembre 1910, quando si recò in pelle-

grinaggio al Santuario del Monte Gargano.
