HOUSEKEEPING Sie erreichen unser Housekeeping unter Tel. 1-855. Kontaktieren Sie sie bitte für alle Anliegen rund um Ihr Wohlbefinden in unserem Haus, insbesondere in Ihrem Zimmer. Gerne bringen sie Ihnen eine zusätzliche Decke und auf Wunsch wird auch täglich die Bettwäsche gewechselt.

HUNDE In unserem Hotel sind Hunde erlaubt. Sie dürfen sich – an der Leine – im Wintergarten und auf der Barterrasse aufhalten. Keinen Zutritt haben sie zu den Restaurants inklusive Terrassen, zum Garten, auf die Liegewiese rund um das Schwimmbad und in den DIPIÙ SPA BY GIARDINO.

Wenn Sie Ihren Hund allein im Zimmer lassen, hängen Sie bitte das extra dafür bereitliegende Schild “Bitte nicht stören – Hund” an die Tür. So ist die Zimmerfrau informiert und betritt den Raum nicht. Hundebesitzer sprechen sich am besten direkt mit dem Housekeeping ab, wann ihr Zimmer gereinigt werden kann (Tel. 1-855). Der Etagenservice nimmt Bestellungen für Hundefutter “à la carte” auf (Tel. 1-869) und der Concierge gibt gerne Tipps, wo die schönsten Spazierwege sind.

INTERNET Siehe‚ “Laptop” und “Business Corner”. Public WLAN von Swisscom ist kostenlos verfügbar; den Zugangscode, sowie weitere Informationen erhalten Sie an der Rezeption. Mit einem WLAN-fähigen Laptop versenden Sie Ihre Daten und E-Mails mit bis zu 2 Mbits/s. Ein DSL-Anschluss ist in allen Zimmern und Suiten kostenlos verfügbar.

JOGGING Tipps für schöne Laufstrecken gibt Ihnen gerne unser Concierge. Dazu finden Sie einen praktischen Plan zum Mitnehmen in der Garderobe Ihres Zimmers.

KINDER In der Spieloase DINO CLUB freut sich unsere Kinderbetreuung von Dienstag bis Samstag (im Juli und August jeden Tag) mit einem abwechslungsreichen Programm auf die kleinen Gäste. Spiel, Spass und Spannung sind garantiert. Im Kinderbad können sich die Kinder nach Herzenslust vergnügen. Der Indoor- sowie der Aussenpool sind von 10.00 Uhr bis 18.00 Uhr ebenfalls für Kinder geöffnet (Kinderschwimmkurse im Haus.). Wichtig: Die Schwimmbäder und daran angeschlossene Bereiche sind Ruhezonen, das gilt auch für Ihre Kinder. Ballspiele, Hineinspringen und Spritzen sind nicht gestattet. Ebenso haben Kinder unter 13 Jahren keinen Zutritt zum Fitness-und Saunabereich. Während des Essens sollte im Restaurant und auf der Terrasse nicht gerannt und gesprungen werden. Platz dafür bietet unser grosser Garten. Bitte bedenken Sie dabei: Der Seerosenteich und auch der Pool sind nicht überall mit Geländern versehen. Die Verantwortung für Ihre Kinder tragen ausnahmslos Sie.

VORZEITIGE ABREISE Die GIARDINO-Garantie: Sollten Sie verhindert sein, haben Sie die Möglichkeit bis 10 Tage vor Anreise, die Reservierung kostenfrei zu stornieren. Bei verspäteter Absage müssen wir den Zimmerpreis bis zu drei Nächten berechnen. Die gleiche Regelung gilt für verspätete Ferienantritte oder vorzeitige Abreisen auf die nicht bezogenen Nächte.

ENFANTS Notre garde d’enfants accueille les petits hôtes du mardi au samedi au DINO CLUB, avec un programme varié (au mois de juillet et août chaque jour). Le jeu, le divertissement et l’aventure sont garantis. Les piscines intérieure et extérieure sont ouvertes pour les enfants de 10h00 à 18h00. C’est l’endroit idéal pour que les enfants puissent jouer sans déranger. Toutefois les jeux de ballon, les sauts dans l’eau et les éclaboussures sont interdits. L’accès à la salle de fitness et au sauna est interdit pour les enfants de moins de 13 ans. Ils sont également priés de ne pas courir dans la salle de restaurant et sur la terrasse pendant les repas. Le jardin se prête beaucoup mieux à cela. Attention : l’étang aux nénuphars et la piscine ne sont pas entièrement entourés de garde fous. Les enfants sont toujours sous la responsabilité des parents.

ENOTECA Les amateurs de vins sont invités chaque jour entre 18h00 et 19h00 à une dégustation dans la vinothèque de la maison. Vous pourrez y acheter des souvenirs du Sud (vin, grappa, huile d’olives, vinaigre balsamique, etc...).

EXCURSIONS Le concierge est à votre disposition pour des suggestions.

BAMBINI Nel DINO CLUB, dove offriamo un programma per bambini con assistenza professionale da martedì a sabato (in luglio e agosto tutti i giorni), e nelle piscine riservate ai bambini questi ultimi possono divertirsi a piacimento. La piscina all’aperto come quella coperta sono aperte ai bambini dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 18.00.Le piscine ed i loro spazi annessi, sono zone di relax, ciò vale anche per i bambini. È vietato giocare a palla, non si può saltare dentro la piscina e spruzzare con l’acqua. L’accesso alla palestra e alla sauna è vietato ai bambini sotto 13 anni. Durante i pasti non dovrebbero giocare all’interno della sala ristorante e sulla terrazza, ma potranno farlo in giardino.

Attenzione: il laghetto delle ninfee e la piscina non sono completamente recintati. I genitori sono personalmente responsabili.

CANI I cani (al guinzaglio) possono soffermarsi nel giardino d’inverno e sulla terrazza del bar. Non hanno accesso ai ristoranti, comprese le terrazze ed il giardino, al prato ed al DIPIÙ SPA BY GIARDINO attorno alla piscina. Chi lascia il cane solo in stanza è cortesemente invitato ad appendere il cartellino apposito per cani “Non disturbare” alla porta, in modo che la cameriera non possa assolutamente entrare. Consigliamo ai padroni dei cani di rivolgersi direttamente alla responsabile dell’economia domestica per stabilire quando si può riordinare la stanza (tel. 1-855). Il servizio ai piani prende in consegna ordini di cibo per cani “à la carte” (tel. 1-869) ed il concierge vi può consigliare su dove portare a passeggio il vostro cane.

GARAGE Nel garage sotterraneo è riservato un posto per la vostra auto. È a vostra disposizione un servizio di valet (tel. 1-885). Se desiderate ritirare l’automobile da soli, potete andare direttamente al piano sotterraneo con l’ascensore (ascensore -1). EARLY DEPARTURE The GIARDINO guarantee: if you are unable to visit us, you may cancel your reservation free of charge until 10 days before arrival. For later cancellations we will be obliged to charge the room price for up to three nights. The same rule applies to late arrivals or early departures calculated on the unused room nights.

ENOTECA Wine connoisseurs are invited to a tasting session at the ENOTECA between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. every day. The Enoteca also sells small souvenirs from the south (wine, grappa, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, etc.).

EXCURSIONS The concierge will be pleased to suggest a variety of excursions.

FAX Gladly we send your telefax at the reception. Should you prefer an individual fax machine, we will install one in your room. Fax rental charge CHF 20.- per day (tel. 1-888).

FIRE The HOTEL GIARDINO is built to the most recent fire prevention safety standards and has been awarded the “Sicherheit im Betrieb” (safety in the enterprise) quality label. The assembly point is the place before the main entrance (roundabout).

Remarques Villa "Casa Monte Tabor" (Wohnfläche ca. 230 m², Zimmer 6.5) liegt wunderbar romantisch in Porto Ronco direkt am Ufer desLago Maggiore. Dem grosszügigen, dreistöckigen Gebäude ist eine herrliche Terrasse vorgelagert, wo private Feste gefeiert, aber auch somancher offizielle Anlass stattfand wie die Überreichung der Möser Medaille der Stadt Osnabrück 1964. Remarque selber lebte und arbeitetevorwiegend in der mittleren Etage, von wo aus er einen wundervollen Blick auf den Lago Maggiore hatte. Der Glamour seiner Lebensgefähr-tinnen Marlene Dietrich und Paulette Goddard ist hier zu spüren. Remarque erwarb die Villa, dank seines grossen Erfolges von "Im Westennichts Neues". In der Zeit bis 1938 traf er in Porto Ronco viele im Exil lebende wichtige Vertreter der deutschen Literatur- und Kulturszene:Else Lasker-Schüler, Joseph Roth, Franz Werfel, Carl Zuckmayer, Robert Neumann, Hans Habe, Herbert Read und Arthur Koestler, um nureinige zu nennen. Die romantische Gesamtanlage der "Casa Monte Tabor" ist ca. 1'300 m² gross. Dazu gehören noch ca. 7'000 m² Waldlandam Berghang des Monte Tabor. Die Villa ist heute recht gut und in der ursprünglichen Anmutung erhalten, muss aber renoviert werden.
