STORIA

Da una lunga e approfondita esperienza nel settore industriale, nel 1983 e' nata la TeknofluorSrl, che raccoglie personalita' e professionalita' gia' consolidate nel settore tecnico-industriale.

La societa', pur potendo contare su un settore commerciale particolarmente sviluppatopossiede ampie ramificazioni nella produzione di particolari lavorati per uso tecnico.

Lo sviluppo di nuove tecnologie di trasformazione e l'aggiornamento del parco macchine e'considerato parte preponderante del know-how aziendale.

La capacita' di fornire prodotti specifici per ogni cliente, e diversificati su 3 linee produttive,da alla clientela la possibilita' di rivolgersi a noi per tutte le necessita' di sviluppo e fornitura deimateriali elastomerici e plastici.

La capacita' innovativa e tecnologica e' da sempre collegata ad una continuita' e sicurezza difornitura basate su concreti standard qualitativi, controllati sia in fase di produzione che in fase dispedizione alla clientela e garantiti dalla certificazione di qualita' UNI EN ISO 9001 : 2000.

O-RING STANDARDLa serie di guarnizioni O-RING secondo le misure standard internazionali e' prodotta secondo le normedi qualita’ ISO 3601 parte 1 grado G, parte 3 classe N a partire da materie prime selezionate ecostantemente controllate.Le mescole vengono stampate su macchine ad iniezione automatizzate e controllate da microprocessoreper il monitoraggio di tutti i parametri di processo.Le guarnizioni, dopo la finitura, vengono ricotte in forno per la stabilizzazione dell’elastomero, cernite econfezionate.Per soddisfare le necessita' della ns. clientela abbiamo completato la ns. produzione con un completomagazzino nelle misure standard inglesi e francesi in gomma:

GOMMA NITRILICA (NBR 70) - colore NEROLa mescola acrilonitrilbutadiene NBR 70 usata per la nostra produzione di O-RING ha un contenuto medio di acrilonitrile.Le caratteristiche dei vulcanizzati in NBR 70 presentano una buona resistenza agli idrocarburi alifatici, oli e grassi animali, vegetalie siliconici, acqua e molti acidi diluiti, basi e soluzioni saline.La resistenza al calore e' buona fino a 100° C, e per breve periodi fino a 120° C; oltre questa temperatura l'invecchiamento diventarapido, facendo indurire e infragilire i pezzi. Si nota una differenza sostanziale di comportamento tra l'esposizione in aria calda e abagno d'olio: in aria calda l'invecchiamento e' molto piu' rapido che non a bagno d'olio.La resistenza alle basse temperature e' buona e pari a circa -35° C.

NITRILE RUBBER (NBR 70) - colour blackTo production of O-RING we usually use a batch of acrilonitrilebutadiene NBR 70 which has an average quantity of acrilonitrile.The vulcanised elements in NBR 70 have a good resistance to the aliphatic hydrocarbons, oils, vegetal and silicone grease, waterand many diluted acids, salt base and solutions.The rubber has a good resistance up to 100° C and, for a short time, up to 120°C. Over this temperature the ageing is faster andthe pieces harden and get more fragile.The ageing of the nitrile rubber is different if it is exposed to hot air or in bath of oil: in hot air it is far more faster than in oil.The resistance at low temperature is good up to - 35°C.

GOMMA FLUORURATA1 (FKM 70) - colore NEROGli elastomeri fluorurati hanno notevole resistenza all'ozono, agli olii minerali, ai liquidi idraulici sintetici, ai combustibili, aicomposti aromatici, a molti solventi ed agenti chimici.I particolari stampati con FKM 70 sono resistenti all'acqua al vapore ed a una grande quantita' di acidi e basi.La resistenza al calore e' ottima fino a 200° C, e per breve tempo a temperature ancora piu' elevate; con l'aumentare dellatemperatura diminuisce la durata del vulcanizzato.La resistenza alle basse temperature e' limitata e comunque sufficiente per diverse applicazioni. In genere gli articoli difluoroelastomero possono essere sollecitati dinamicamente fino a -20°C. Nell'impiego statico la resistenza e' maggiore e arriva a-40° C.

FLUORINATED RUBBER (FKM 70) - colour blackThe fluorinated elastomers have a great resistance to ozone, to mineral oils, to synthetic hydraulic liquids, to combustiblematerials, to aromatic compounds, to a lot of solvents and chemical agents.The FKM 70 moulded parts are resistant to water, to steam and to a large quantity of acids and basis.The resistance to heat is excellent up to 200 °C and, for a short time, to higher temperatures. The higher the temperature gets, theless the vulcanised element lasts.The resistance to low temperatures is scanty but it is good enough for different applications.The fluorinated elastomer part can be dynamically stressed up to - 20°C. In the static use, the resistance is higher and it's good upto - 40°C.

GOMMA SILICONICA (SIL 70) - colore ROSSO.Gli elastomeri siliconici hanno notevole resistenza all'ossigeno, all'ozono, all'invecchiamento, alle intemperie, ai raggi ultravioletti eall'aria calda.La resistenza al calore e' ottima fino a 150° C, e per breve tempo a temperature ancora piu' elevate; con l'aumentare dellatemperatura diminuisce la durata del vulcanizzato.La resistenza alle basse temperature e' eccellente, in particolare e' utilizzabile fino a -60° C.Il materiale possiede inoltre insuperabili doti di elettroisolamento, inoltre puo' essere formulato appositamente per rispettare lesevere norme per l'utilizzo al contatto con alimenti.Il materiale e' colorabile con eccellenti risultati estetici.

Il risultato è un aumento nella compressione dell'anello al salire della pressione.Per tenuta si intende qualsiasi mezzo idoneo ad essere interposto tra due superfici non perfettamente combacianti onde evitare la fuoriuscita del materiale fluido attraverso diesse.Le tenute si suddividono in statiche e dinamiche a seconda che le due superfici combacianti non siano oppure siano in moto relativo l'una rispetto all'altra.I vantaggi più significativi dell'utilizzo di O-Ring sono:1. TENUTE STATICHE CON O-RINGAi fini di una corretta tenuta statica e di una lunga durata dell'O-Ring occorre che le superfici delle sedi di contenimento dell'O-Ring di tenuta siano ben pulite anche selavorate con un grado di finitura non elevato.

Allo scopo basta un grado di finitura contrassegnato dal simbolo

STATIC SEALINGS WITH O-RINGSIn order to provide a proper and lasting static sealing effect with an O-Ring, it is necessary for the surfaces of the groove containing the O-Ring seal to be extremelyclean even if they are not machined to a very high level of finish.

For this purpose, a degree of finish marked by the symbol is sufficient, as shown in the drawing here below.

Le sedi di alloggiamento devono essere dimensionate in modo opportuno onde evitare un eccessivo schiacciamento dell'O-Ring con possibile trasbordo dagli spigoli.In linea di massima, in base alla sezione di O-Ring scelto, riportiamo in tabella le dimensioni delle sedi più idonee per una corretta tenuta.Come ultimo avvertimento facciamo presente che durante il montaggio l'O-Ring non deve venire attorcigliato, ma deve essere disposto nel proprio alloggiamento ben disteso.

The groove must be of a suitable size in order to avoid crushing the O-Ring with consequent protrusion from the edges.According to the section of the chosen O-Ring, the sizes of the most suitable grooves for a proper seal are, as a general rule, those given here.As a final recommendation, it is important to make sure that the O-Ring is not twisted when fitted and that it is placed flat in its groove.

TENUTE DINAMICHE CON O-RINGPer le tenute dinamiche, essendoci un gioco tra le superfici che combaciano onde permettere il movimento relativo tra di loro, occorre tener conto di più fattori per un correttofunzionamento della tenuta stessa.Innanzi tutto occorre che la finitura superficiale dell'O-Ring sia buona, possibilmente senza difetti;

DYNAMIC SEALING WITH O-RINGSAs there is a certain clearance between the mating surfaces to allow for the relative movement between them, with dynamic seals several factors must be taken intoconsideration in order for the seal to work properly.Firstly, the surface finish of the O-Ring must be good, and if possible, it must be smooth and free of faults.

Le sedi di alloggiamento devono essere accuratamente lavorate e tutti gli spigoli raccordati come mostrano le figure qui riportate. Per il dimensionamento delle sedi occorreattenersi alla tabella qui riportata ed in linea generale tenere presente che il valore dello schiacciamento dell'O-Ring deve essere inferiore al valore complessivo del gioco trapistone e cilindro onde evitare che, per uno spostamento radiale massimo del pistone, l'O-Ring per un certo tratto non sia sufficientemente compresso o addirittura lasci unospiraglio seppur minimo con conseguente annullamento dell'effetto di tenuta. Inoltre occorre che il pistone sia sufficientemente sostenuto e guidato affinché l'O-Ring nondebba fungere esso stesso da sostegno e compiere un lavoro di centraggio con conseguente sua rapida usura a detrimento di una tenuta durevole nel tempo.

A - Il controllo della durezzaSugli O-Ring è fatto secondo la norma DIN 53519 parte 2 (M:IRHD).Deve essere utilizzata la strumentazione prevista dalla norma e la prova avviene come segue: se non diversamente stabilito la temperatura di prova è di 23 ± 2°C. Lamisurazione non può iniziare prima di 10 ore, in casi arbitrali non prima di 72 ore, dopo la vulcanizzazione.Il provino viene messo sul piano d'appoggio, la piastra di spinta viene abbassata finché appoggia sul provino, poi viene appoggiata l'asta di spinta con la sfera per 5 secondicon la forza preliminare.La scala del dispositivo di misurazione della lunghezza viene poi portata sulla posizione di partenza ossia:A zero, se è suddivisa in gradi durezza internazionali (IRHD).Va posta particolare attenzione a che nel regolamento della scala non venga effettuata ulteriore pressione sulla sfera. Dopodiché viene applicata la forza globale per 30secondi. A - TESTING OF THE HARDNESSThe hardness of the O-Rings is tested according to the norm DIN 53519 part 2 (M. IRHD). The global force is then applied for 30 seconds. At the end of the loadtime, the comparator is read.With the division in 0.01 mm., the value read must be multiplied by 6 and the value T obtained in this way for the depth of penetration must then be converted intointernational degrees of hardness.The measurements are taken on at least three different points of the test-piece, observing the distances as defined by the table itself.

C - Controllo della superficieLa tecnica di produzione degli O-Ring è tale da rendere possibili alcuni difetti di superficie.Per i criteri standard di accettazione dei difetti di superficie ci si riferisce alla norma ISO 3601 (ex DIN 3771) parte 4, classe N.La norma cataloga i possibili difetti come segue:1. Fuori registro e scentratura. Le due metà dell'anello sono scentrate a causa dello spostamento laterale di una parte dello stampo rispetto all'altra.2. Bava. Pellicola sulla linea fusione stampo.3. Incarnatura. Mancanza di materiale lungo la circonferenza con sezione a forma di "V" o "W".4. Eccessiva rettifica. L'anello presenta una sezione appiattita e non perfettamente tonda causata dalla rettifica.5. Segni del flusso. Sono cavità lineari di scarsa profondità e con bordi arrotondati causate dal procedimento di scorrimento della gomma all'interno dello stampo.6. Avallamenti, indentamenti. Cavità di forma irregolare causate da inclusioni di materiale estraneo e/o bolle d'aria all'interno dell'impronta dello stampo o da mancanza dimateriale.7. Corpi estranei. Inclusioni di materiale estraneo sulla superficie degli anelli (sporco - residui di lavorazione - etc.).Le dimensioni ammissibili dei difetti indicati sono riportate nella tabella che segue. In mancanza di accordi diversi il grado adottato per la produzione standard è il grado"N".Dopo aver stabilito quali difetti sono ammissibili ed in quale misura, è importante stabilire la quantità campione da controllare ed entro quale limite quantitativo la forniturapuò essere considerata conforme.La norma di riferimento al riguardo è la DIN. ISO 2859 parte 1.Il controllo standard è effettuato in base al piano di campionamento semplice secondo AQL 1,00 (AQL = massima quantità di unità difettose per ogni 100 pezzi).

C - CONTROL OF THE SURFACEThe O-Ring production technique described in the previous paragraph is such that some surface defects are possible.For the standard acceptance criteria for surface defects reference is made to the standard ISO 3601 (ex DIN 3771) part 4, grade N.The standard lists the possible defects as follows:1. Mismatch and off/register. The two halves of the ring are off-centre due to the lateral movement of one part of the mould compared to the other.2. Flash. Film on the parting line.3. Back rind. A lack of material along the circumference with "V" or "W" shaped section.4. Excessive grinding. The ring has a flat section that is not perfectly round due to the grinding process.5. Flow marks. They are shallow linear cavities with rounded edges caused by the flow of rubber inside the mould.6. Indentation. Irregular shaped cavities caused by the inclusion of foreign material and/or air bubbles inside the mould cavity or a shortage of material.7. Foreign material. Inclusions of foreign material on the surface of the rings (dirt - scraps from machining - etc.).The permitted dimensions of the above mentioned defects are shown in the table given below.In the absence of other agreements, the degree adopted for the standard production is degree "N".Having established which defects are permitted and to what degree, it is important to establish the sample quantity to be tested and within which maximum quantitiesthe supply can be considered acceptable.The reference standard for this is DIN-ISO 2859 part 1.The standard control is carried out on the basis of simple sampling plan in accordance with AQL 1,00 (AQL = maximum quantity of faulty units per 100 pieces).

SUGGERIMENTI SULL'IMMAGAZZINAGGIO

Il mantenimento delle caratteristiche delle guarnizioni in gomma e' condizionato dall'ambiente nel quale le stesse vengonoimmagazzinate.

Guarnizioni trattate correttamente mantengono le loro caratteristiche inalterate per lungo tempo.

Noi consigliamo di non superare i seguenti TEMPI:* Nitrile (NBR): 4 anni* Fluoroelastomero (FKM/FPM): 10 anni* Silicone (SIL/VMQ): 10 anni* Etilenpropilene (EP/Epdm): 6 anni* Cloroprene (CR): 4 anni* Altre: da verificare

Per conservare in maniera ottimale suggeriamo le seguenti condizioni:

CALOREtemperatura di immagazzinaggio da +10° C a +23° C. Il non rispetto di queste temperature ne abbrevia la durata. I prodotti nondevono essere vicine a fonti di calore.

UMIDITA'umidita' e vapor d'acqua sono da evitare. L'umidita' relativa ottimale dell'aria va dal 65% al 75%.

OSSIGENOle guarnizioni dovrebbero essere tenute in sacchi chiusi ermeticamente e se possibili nell'imballo originale non aperto.

OZONOsono da evitare nei luoghi di immagazzinamento apparecchi che producano ozono, tipo motori elettrici, apparecchiatureelettroniche, impianti che provocano formazione di scintille, lampade alogene, ecc....

LUCEevitare l'esposizione diretta ai raggi solari. La luce artificiale con raggi UV risulta dannosa perche' crea ozono. La condizioneottimale sarebbe il buio.

CONTATTOdurante l'immagazzinamento si dovra' porre attenzione a che le guarnizioni non vengano in contatto con solventi carburanti,lubrificanti (oli e grassi), sostanze chimiche, acidi, basi, ecc... Puo' risultare inoltre dannoso il contatto prolungato con superfici dirame, ottone e acciaio inox.

PULITURAla eventuale pulizia dovrebbe essere fatta con acqua e e sapone senza utilizzo si solventi organici tipo benzina, benzolo, trementina,ecc..... facendo attenzione a non utilizzare oggetti contundenti o carta vetrata.

ULTERIORI PRECAUZIONI:* non allungare, piegare o appendere* non sottoporre a pesi permanenti* utilizzare criterio di prelevamento da magazzino tipo F.I.F.O* in caso di dubbio sullo stato di una guarnizione immagazzinata per lungo tempo verificare tramite leggero allungamento dellastessa lo stato della superficie. Non utilizzare se la superficie risulta screpolata

RECOMMENDED SHELF LIFE & STORAGE OF SEALS, RUBBER MOULDINGS & PLASTIC ITEMSFrom Standard UNI 9181 - ISO 2230-73

Most rubbers and plastics change in physical properties during storage and ultimately become unserviceable, due for example, toexcessive hardening, softening, cracking, crazing, or other surface degradation. These change may be the result of one particularfactor or a combination of factors, such as the action of oxygen, ozone, light, heat, humidity or oils and solvents. The deleteriouseffects of these factors may, however, be minimised by careful choice of storage conditions.

TemperatureThe storage temperature should preferably be between 5°C and 25°C because at higher temperatures deterioration occurs morereadily. Sources of heat in storage rooms should be so arranged that the temperature of stored articles never exceeds 25°C. Theeffects of low temperature are not permanently deleterious to rubber articles by they may become stiffer if stored at lowtemperatures and care should be taken to acoid distoting them during handling at that temperature. When articles are taken fromlow temperature storage for immediate use their temperature should be raised to approximately 30°C throughout before they areput into service.

HumidityThe relative humidity in the store room should be below 75%. Very moist or very dry conditions should be avoided. Whereventilation is necessary it should be kept to a minimum. Condensation should not occur.

LightRubbers should be protected from light, in particular rather strong sunlight and strong artificial light with a high Ultra-Violetcontent. Unless the articles are packed in opaque containers it is advisable to cover any windows of storage rooms with a red ororange coating or screen.

Oxygen & OzoneWhere possible, rubber should be protected from circulating air by wrapping, storage in airtight containers or by other suitablemeans. This particularly applies to articles with large surface area to volume ratios. As ozone is particularly deleterious, storagerooms should not contain any equi[ment that is capable of generating ozone.

DeformationRubbers should, wherever possible, be stored in a relaxed condition free from tension, compression or other deformation.. LargeO-rings and seals must be suspended on pegs as this will lead to severe deterioration. If it is impossible to avoid deformation itshould be kept to a minimum since deformation can lead to cracking and permanent change of shape. Where articles are packed ina strain-free condition they should be stored in their original packaging.

Contact with Liquid & Sumi-Solid MaterialsRubbers should not be allowed to come into contact with solvents, oil, greases or any other semi-solid materials at any time duringstorage, unless so packed by the manufacturer. In certain cases tubber components may require to be stored coated with the fluid inwhich they are to be used.

Contact with MetalDirect contact with certain metals, for example manganese, iron and particularly copper and its alloys, for example brass andcompounds of these materials, for example, naphthenates, are known to have deleterious effects on some rubbers. Rubber shouldnot be stored in contact with such metals, or materials impregnated with their compounds, but should be protected by wrapping orseparation with a layer of suitable material, for example paper, polythene.

Contact with Non-MetalsBecause of possible transfer of plasticisers or other infredients, rubbers must not be stored in contact with P.V.C.; different rubbersshould preferably be separated from each otehr. Contact with creosote-impregnated timber or fabrics should be avoided, alsocompounds containing copper naphthenate and sulphur.

CleaningWhere necessary, cleaning should be carried out with the aid of soap and water or methylated spirits. Water should not, however,be permitted to come into contact with fabic reinforced components or polyurethane rubbers. Disinfectants or other organicsolvents must not be used. After cleaning, the article should be dried at room temperature and not placed near a source of heat.

Lip SealsLip type seals should always be stored in such a way as to prevent the sealing edges being damaged. On no account should identitylabels be tied to the actual components.

Shelf LifeIf the items are carefully stored as recommended their shelf life is gernerally very long. Where there is any reason to think thatstorage conditions are less satisfactory than those recommended representative samples from each batch should be inspected andtested in accordance with the paragraph on expire of the periods listed below, but in any case every detail should be testedimmediately before assembly the component.

Methods of Inspection & TestThe rubber and unassembled rubber detainls should be given a careful examination for:(a) Permanent distortion, mechanical damage, flats or other defects.(b) Tackiness or noticeable surface softening or hardening.(c) Cracks (using a hand lens when the rubber is extended or flexed)Note: During storage, degradation by oxidation may occur. This first appears as a surface defect and may have seriousconsequences. The usefulness of a rubber component will be related to the ratio of total thickness of the degraded layer. Surfacedegradation may therefore be far more serious on a thin rubber section than on a thick rubber section. The appearance of a"bloom" is unimportant and is not evidence of degradation.
