Ad oggi ha eseguito circa 6300 procedure di interventistica coronarica,
periferica o strutturale come primo operatore. Ha posizionato diversi sistemi di
assistenza ventricolare meccanica (VAD, ECMO, etc..) e PMK temporanei
come primo operatore. Ha impiantato PMK definitivi come primo e secondo
operatore.
Nel corso degli anni ha sviluppato competenze nelle emergenze/urgenze
cardiologiche, nello scompenso cardiaco acuto (contribuendo alla definizione e
classificazione) e cronico, nella valutazione pre-, peri- e post-operatoria del
paziente adulto e pediatrico, ed in tutti gli ambiti della cardiologia interventistica
(coronarografie, cateterismi destri, PCI complesse, PTA periferiche e carotidee,
valvulopatica mitralica ed aortica, TAVI, endoprotesi aortiche, rotablator, FFR,
IVUS, OCT, chiusura PFO/DIA, interventistica strutturale dell'adulto e
pediatrica), come d'altronde testimoniato dalla sua attività scientifica
