Se guardo indietro nel tempo, mi vedo ragazzo

a lavorare alle macchine della nostra officina, a

maneggiare acciaio, impostare macchinari, assi-

stere all’assemblaggio dei corpi illuminanti.

Mi ricordo le operazioni che facevamo in offici-

na, un rito quotidiano che contribuiva a rende-

re unici gli apparecchi illuminotecnici marchiati

PALAGI.

Anni che mi sono serviti a conoscere tutte le fasi

di produzione, tutti i meccanismi tecnici per l’im-

plementazione a bordo, i segreti della luce e del

suo straordinario effetto sugli interni ed esterni

delle imbarcazioni.

Oggi posso ringraziare mio padre che mi ha con-

sentito di fare questa esperienza, per avermi poi

lasciato le redini dell’azienda e la responsabilità

di portarla nel mondo dove l’innovazione tecno-

logica corre più veloce che mai.

Orgoglioso del patrimonio di esperienze maturate

in oltre 60 anni di attività dall’azienda, sono vera-

mente felice di presentare il catalogo 2017-2018,

che contiene tutte le nostre novità, oltre che i pro-

dotti che ci hanno consentito di crescere.

Looking back in time, I see myself as a young

boy working with machinery at our factory,

handling steel, setting machinery, supporting

the assembly of lighting fittings.

I remember the operations we did in the me-

chanical workshop, a daily ritual who made

possible to create unique PALAGI branded

lighting items.

Those years helped me in knowing each pro-

duction stage, every technical mechanism in

order to have perfect fittings on board, the

secrets of light and its extraordinary effect on

yachts interior and exterior.

I can nowadays thank my father for granting

me with this experience, and then assign me

the company management and the responsi-

bility to carry it worldwide, where technologi-

cal innovation runs faster than ever.

Proud of the experiences and heritages of

over 60 years activity, I am really glad to intro-

duce the 2017-2018 edition of our catalogue,

with all the new items and with our light fit-

tings benchmark collection allowing our stea-

dy company growth.

department and mechanical workshop with

two CNC machines and a recently added 5

axis machinery.

equipment issuing lighting data strongly

influencing the final effect in yacht interiors

and exteriors.

All of the light fittings presented in this catalogue have been produced according to the Italian CEI 34-21 regu-lations unified to the European EN 60598-1 regulations, which in turn correspond to international IEC 598-1.

DEGREE OF PROTECTIONThe resistance offered by the fixture for the penetration of solids and liquids is indicated by the prefix IP (Inter-national Protection) followed by two numbers. The first one identifies the degree of protection against the pen-etration of solids; the second one specifies the degree of protection against the penetration of liquids.
