STORIALa ditta FIZAN è stata fondata nel 1947 dal sig. Fincati Dome-nico (1913-2013), con la produzione di 6 paia di bastoni da sci in alluminio. La geniale intuizione fu quella di utilizzare l’alluminio, quando invece i bastoni da sci venivano prodotti in acciaio o in canne di bambù. In tutti questi decenni FIZAN è cresciuta molto, investendo in tecnologia, ricerca e sviluppo, ma ha cercato sem-pre di mantenere inalterato l’attaccamento alla sua terra (nel Veneto ad un’ora da Venezia) ed alle sue origini, fatte di amore per il prodotto e la qualità. Negli ultimi quindici anni l’attività è proseguita con il nipote Andrea Zaltron che, con il suo team di validi collaboratori, si sta affermando tra i leader mondiali del settore.

HISTORYMr Fincati Domenico (1913-2013) founded Fizan in 1947, a man of vision, he was first to produce ski poles in aluminum when steel and bamboo were the normal materials used, the rest as they say is history.Over the following years, continual investment in technology, research and development has helped Fizan become a world le-ader within the ski and trekking pole market. Passion for quality and design has kept the company firmly rooted to their origins in Veneto (one hour from Venice). Over the last 15 years, this passion, heritage and innovation has been led by nephew Andrea Zaltron.

ENVIRONMENT and HEALTH CAREFIZAN has always been respectful of the environment and use only recyclable materials. To further this commitment, they have invested in and use a photovoltaic system for the production of alternative energy (about 50 kw of power). This gives FIZAN around 60% of its power needs, avoiding the annual emission into the atmosphere of around 35.000 kg of CO2.FIZAN also assures that all its “Made in Italy” production com-plies with all European rules concerning the forbidden use of dangerous chemical ingredients within the production process.

TUTELA dell’AMBIENTE e della SALUTEFIZAN è da sempre attenta al rispetto per l’ambiente circostante utilizzando solo materiali riciclabili. A tale scopo è stato anche fatto l’investimento per l’impianto fotovoltaico per la produzio-ne di energia alternativa (circa 50 kw di potenza). In questo modo FIZAN è autosufficiente per circa il 60% del proprio fabbisogno, evitando l’emissione annua di circa 25.000 kg di CO2. FIZAN ga-rantisce che la propria produzione Made in Italy è conforme a tutte le normative europee circa il divieto di utilzzo di sostanze dannose.

GRAFICALa qualità grafica riveste un’importanza rilevante nell’apprezzamento di un prodotto ben fatto, specialmente se è Made in Italy. FIZAN, grazie ad una tecnica personalizzata ed unica nel suo settore, è in grado di utilizzare una risoluzione con il processo di sublimazione che non ha eguali.

TUBINei bastoni da trekking e nordic walking i tubi di alluminio e car-bonio rappresentano l’anima del prodotto. Per questo FIZAN utilizza solo materia prima di alta qualità, resistenza e durata. Le 3 leghe di alluminio utilizzate (7001-7075-6013) sono tutte temperate e vengono fornite solo da partner certificati. L’ele-vata qualità del Carbonio utilizzato nei bastoni FIZAN garantisce una perfetta combinazione di leggerezza e resistenza. HANDLES and STRAPSAs with all aspects of production, FIZAN is continuously sear-ching to improve design, functionality and comfort. On trek-king, lightweight and comfort is normal, while Nordic benefits from the easy use “on-off” FR3 strap which is a patented FI-ZAN feature gives easy functional use without the use of metal springs found on competitors products.

ROTELLE, PUNTALI e TAPPICome le ruote per un auto, le punte sono molto importanti in un bastone da passeggio; per questa ragione FIZAN presta la mas-sima attenzione alla forma della punta per un perfetto utilizzo su asfalto, terra, roccia, neve e ghiaccio. Tutti i puntali in metallo duro hanno una durezza di 73-75 Hrc (quando la norma Iso 6508 richiede un minimo di 50 Hrc). I tappi in gomma speciale garanti-scono una tenuta ottimale sull’asfalto e attutiscono le vibrazioni.

BASKETS, TIPS and PADSTips are a very important part of a walking pole; for this reason, FIZAN is very careful to ensure that the shape of the tip is per-fect for use on all types of terrain including asphalt, rock, snow and ice. All carbide tips have a hardness of 73-75 Hrc (when Iso 6508 requires a minimum of 50 Hrc).The special pavement tip accessory gives comfort on asphalt through reduction vibrations while at the same time given gre-ater grip.

FLEXY LOCKING SYSTEM (patented) [Internal locking system]

The inner locking system gives a variety of benefits to the user; safe and durable, lighter and more balanced during use while avoi-ding unpleasant and dangerous contacts that most of external lo-cking systems could represent.Many telescopic poles produced by FIZAN use the tested FLEXY system. The aluminium pin is lightweight and the expander, made in Delrin (by Dupont), assures a safe and constant tightness during use and requires a minimal amount of strength to lock. Once clo-sed, the holding force is very strong, reaching more than 100kg.

Molti dei bastoni telescopici prodotti da FIZAN utilizzano il collaudato sistema FLEXY. Il perno in alluminio leggero ed il suo espansore in Delrin (by Dupont) garantiscono una tenuta sicura e costante in tutte le situazioni possibili. Con uno sforzo minimo in chiusura si ottiene una tenuta molto superiore ai 100 kg, garantendo sicurez-za durante l’utilizzo.

Con questo sistema FIZAN ha rivoluzionato il sistema di sgan-cio del passamano dalla manopola, evitando ogni tipo di molla o altro meccanismo interno all’impugnatura. Geniale nella sua semplicità, il Sistema FR consente di sfilare il passamano dalla manopola molto velocemente, con una piccola pressione sul pulsante IN-OUT. Quello che si vede è quello che è; il Sistema FR non ha segreti e qui sta la forza di FIZAN. Semplice, funzionale, leggero e visibile.

Perché CONCEPT ? Tutti gli altri sistemi di bloccaggio esterni nel mercato sono simili e basati sullo stesso principio di funzionamento; FIZAN ha sviluppato qualcosa di realmente innovativo e rivoluzionario ed è un nuovo “concetto” nei sistemi di bloccaggio esterni.

Costruito con soli due componenti assicura una tenuta perfetta in tutte le condizioni atmosferiche, sia di caldo che di freddo estremo; questo meccanismo perfetto funziona per assicurare una tenuta superlativa. Non una semplice questione di design o di forma, il sistema CONCEPT è facile, intuitivo ed estremamente forte. Con una forza minima di chiusura si ottiene un bloccaggio sicuro e molto forte; infatti, con una normale forza, si ottiene facilmente una tenuta alla compressione ben oltre i 100 kg, che è di molto superiore a tutti i sistemi di bloccaggio esterni attualmente nel mercato.

After years of research and testing, FIZAN created a Revolution in the World of telescopic trekking pole locking systems: its name is CONCEPT.

Why CONCEPT ? All the other external locking systems in the market are similar and based on the same idea; FIZAN has developed something really innovative and revolutionary and is the new “concept” in external locking systems.

Made with only two pieces it assures perfect tightness in all weather conditions, whether extreme heat or cold; this perfect mechanism works to ensure a super resistance. Not simply just a question of design and look, the CONCEPT System is easy, intuitive and extremely strong. With a minimum locking force you obtain a safe and super strong resistance, in fact, with normal torsion force applied, it is easy to obtain a compression resistance of more than 100 kg, which is greater than all the conventional external locking systems currently available in the market.
