Thermal Technology nasce da un concetto rivoluzionario, che per l’anno 2001 sembrava un azzardo di cui sorridere: utilizzare non un metallo ma un materiale organico per imbrigliare l’energia elettrica e trasformarla in calore: certo non un materiale qualsiasi, ma qualcosa che prometteva grandi potenzialità e versatilità: il carbonio.

L’intuizione era esatta: la scommessa era vincente, prove su prove permisero di selezionare il giusto tipo di carbonio e di padroneggiarne il comportamento elettrico, ma rimaneva un problema: come utilizzare la rete di distribuzione dell’energia elettrica, dato che viaggia su metallo? In altre parole, come connettere un normale filo in rame al capo di carbonio da alimentare?

Questo è stato il vero nodo della questione, l’equazione vincente: fortuna, intuito o genio poco importa, l’unica cosa sicura è l’invenzione della connessione carbonio/rame, stabile, duratura e blindata da un brevetto internazionale.

Thermal Technology is born from a revolutionary concept, that not too long ago seemed absurd: the use of an organic material, instead of a metal, to absorb electricalenergy and turn it into heat.
