BLiNC™ G2 Introduzione

Grazie per aver scelto il dispositivo Bluetooth® BLiNC™ G2. Il sistema di comunicazione integrato nel vostro casco è basato sulla tecnologia senza fili Bluetooth®.La tecnologia Bluetooth® è una specifica industriale che permette una connessione senza fili tra apparati elettronici e sostituisce l’uso di cavi. Questa tecnologia fornisce un metodo standard, economico e sicuro per scambiare informazioni tra dispositivi diversi, attraverso una frequenza radio sicura a corto raggio. Potete connettere il sistema di comunicazione che è integrato nel vostro casco, con il vostro telefono e con qualsiasi altro apparecchio elettronico dotato di tecnologia Bluetooth®, che supporti il profilo HeadSet, il profilo HFP Handsfree e il profilo A2DP per l’ascolto di musica stereo ad alta qualità.Quando il vostro casco è connesso con un telefono, è possibile fare o ricevere telefonate e ascoltare la musica dal cellulare, aggiustando il volume tramite la rotella di controllo esterna.Il sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro casco è composto da un modulo sigillato che contiene la scheda con i chip elettronici e la batteria al litio, che sono ospitati in un alloggiamento di plastica nella parte posteriore del casco, due altoparlanti stereo, un microfono e la rotella di comando esterna, oltre che dai cavi di collegamento. Vedi la Figura 1 qui sotto.

Attenzione:Non bagnare il modulo sigillato, né il carica-batterie.Ascoltare musica ad alto volume da altoparlanti situati presso l’orecchio, può danneggiare il vostro udito!

Problemi di interferenza dispositivi Bluetooth®La qualità di trasmissione dati Bluetooth® può essere disturbata dalla posizione del vostro lettore di musica o del telefono. In caso di audio distorto o di improvvise assenze di trasmissione, provate a muovere il lettore o il telefono, fino a trovare la posizione dalla quale il segnale audio vi giunge in modo migliore.

Per IniziarePrima di iniziare ad utilizzare il dispositivo, si deve prima:Caricare la batteria del dispositivo;Abbinare la cuffia con un dispositivo, per esempio, un cellulare;Leggere interamente il libretto d’istruzioni.

Carica della batteriaIl sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro casco comprende una batteria ricaricabile. Vi raccomandiamo di caricare la batteria prima di usare il sistema per la prima volta.Per caricare la batteria, sollevate la linguetta di gomma che si trova sul coperchio dell’alloggiamento del modulo Bluetooth® e inserite lo spinotto del caricabatteria nella presa come illustrato nelle Figure 2 e 3.Solo adesso inserite la spina nella rete elettrica. Il tempo necessario per la carica completa della batteria è di circa 4 ore. Durante la carica rimane accesa una luce rossa alla sinistra della rotella di comando. Quando la batteria è completamente carica, la luce rossa si spegne.La batteria necessita di ricarica quando la luce rossa lampeggia e si avverte un abbassamento del volume.

HFP Permette sia il controllo remoto del telefono cellulare attraverso l’apparato senza mani sia le connessioni vocali tra il cellulare e l’apparato senza mani. A2DP Streaming di musica stereo.

Per accendere il sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro cascoTenete premuto il pulsante centrale della rotella esterna di comando (MFB) (vedi Figura 4) per circa 2 secondi finché non udite un lungo tono acuto. Il LED blu inizierà a lampeggiare a fianco alla rotella.Al momento dell’accensione, il sistema ristabilisce automaticamente le connessioni Bluetooth® senza fili con il telefono cellulare o il lettore mp3 connesso più recentemente.

Per spegnere il sistema il sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro cascoTenete premuto il Pulsante centrale della rotella esterna di comando (MFB) (vedi Figura 4) per circa 5 secondi finché non udite un lungo tono acuto ed entrambi i LED di fianco alla rotella non si spegnono.

Modalità di ricercaCon il dispositivo spento, tenere premuto per circa 6/7 secondi il bottone multi-funzione MFB fino a quando le luci led rosse e blu inizieranno a lampeggiare.

Per accoppiare il sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro casco con un telefono cellulare Prima di poter usare il sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro casco, dovete accoppiarlo con un telefono cellulare.Con il sistema BLiNC™ G2, tenete premuto per circa 6/7 secondi il pulsante multi-funzione MFB (vedi modalità di ricerca). Le luci led a fianco della rotella lampeggiano alternativamente in rosso e blu.Sul vostro telefono cellulare ricercate i dispositivi Bluetooth® disponibili: quando il telefono ha localizzato il BLiNC™ G2 (nomi alternativi come Headset, helmet_intercom _over o altri possono comparire nella lista), collegatelo con il codice 0000. Se l’accoppiamento ha avuto successo la luce blu inizia a lampeggiare lentamente e la luce rossa si spegne.Una volta accoppiato, il vostro telefono sarà automaticamente connesso ogni volta che accenderete il sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro casco.Nota: Prima di iniziare la procedura di accoppiamento, accertatevi che eventuali altri dispositivi Bluetooth® presenti nelle vicinanze siano spenti.

Fare una chiamata Intercom

Ruolo del conducentePremere la manopola del dispositivo per entrare nel modo intercom. La cuffia inizierà una chiamata intercom auto-maticamente con l’ultimo dispositivo abbinato e lavorerà come il “master”.1) Se il dispositivo Bluetooth® è connesso con un altro dispositivo (ad esempio un cellulare) questo si disconnetterà automaticamente e si connetterà con l’altro auricolare (passeggero). Dopo la connessione, l’auricolare del conducente effettuerà una chiamata intercom all’auricolare del passeggero. Per terminare la chiamata il conducente deve premere il suo bottone MFB. Se il dispositivo del conducente stava riproducendo musica attraverso il protocollo A2DP prima di entrare nella funzione intercom, esso si ricollegherà automaticamente e riprenderà con la riproduzione della musica (se invece si ha un cellulare che non supporta questa funzione, è necessario riavviare la cuffia manualmente per riprendere con l’esecuzione).2) Se l’auricolare del conducente non è connesso con nessun dispositivo, esso si connetterà ed effettuerà la chiamata intercom alla cuffia del passeggero automaticamente.

Ruolo del passeggero1) Se il dispositivo del passeggero è già connesso a qualche altro dispositivo (ad esempio un cellulare), si disconnet-terà automaticamente e poi accetterà la connessione richiesta dal dispositivo del conducente.Dopo tre o quattro squilli, la cuffia del passeggero risponderà automaticamente alla chiamata da parte del pilota. Alternativamente, si può premere il bottone multi-funzione (MFB) per rispondere manualmente.Per terminare la chiamata premere una volta il bottone multi-funzione (MFB). Se il dispositivo passeggero stava riproducendo della musica dal cellulare prima della chiamata intercom, esso si riconnetterà automaticamente al telefono cellulare e riprenderà con la riproduzione della musica una volta finita la chiamata intercom (se invece si ha un cellulare che non supporta questa funzione, è necessario riavviare la cuffia manualmente per riprendere con l’esecuzione).2) Se il dispositivo passeggero non è connesso con nessun dispositivo, esso accetterà la connessione richiesta e trat-terà l’intercom direttamente.

Abbinare due caschi Bluetooth®Prima di procedere con l’abbinamento, essere sicuri che non ci siano altri dispositivi Bluetooth® attivi nell’area.Pilota: Attivare il Bluetooth®, schiacciare e tenere premuto il bottone multi-funzione (MFB) per circa 3-4 secondi, fino a quando non si vede la luce blu lampeggiare (vedi per accendere il sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro casco).Passeggero: Schiacciare e tenere premuto il bottone multi-funzione (MFB) per circa 6-7 secondi fino a quando i led rosso e blu del casco passeggero iniziano a lampeggiare velocemente (vedere Modalità di ricerca).Passeggero: Rilasciare il bottone MFB una volta che le luci rossa e blu del casco passeggero iniziano a lampeggiare velocemente.Pilota: (Accettare l’abbinamento): Ora ruotare e tenere girato per qualche secondo il bottone multi-funzione nella direzione del VOL+ fino a quando le luci led indicatrici rossa e blu si accendono e quindi rilasciare il bottone multi-funzione.Pilota: (Effettuare l’intercom Bluetooth®): Una volta che il Pilota ed il Passeggero sono nel modo di abbinamento, la connessione sarà stabilita automaticamente (dopo circa 4 secondi) e si udirà un tono di conferma. La chiamata inter-com potrà essere terminata o stabilita di nuovo sia dal Pilota che dal Passeggero attraverso la pressione del bottone multi-funzione (MFB) su uno qualsiasi dei 2 caschi.

Utilizzo del dispositivoLa vostra cuffia vi permette di ascoltare musica in streaming da una sorgente musicale provvista di tecnologia Bluetooth®.Nota: Se mentre ascolti musica dal tuo cellulare decidi di fare una chiamata o ne ricevi una, la musica proveniente dal telefono viene automaticamente messa in pausa. Quando la chiamata sarà finita, la musica riprenderà da dove si era interrotta.

Rispondere a una chiamata usando il bottone multi-funzione (MFB)All’arrivo di una telefonata, udirete squillare la vostra suoneria direttamente attraverso gli altoparlanti del casco. Per rispondere premete il Pulsante multi-funzione (MFB).

Terminare una chiamataPer terminare una telefonata premete nuovamente il pulsante multi-funzione (MFB) (vedi Figura 4).

Rifiutare una chiamataPer rifiutare una chiamata, quando sentite squillare il vostro telefono attraverso l’altoparlante del sistema BLiNC™ G2 integrato nel vostro casco, premete e tenete premuto il pulsante multi-funzione (MFB) (vedi Figura 4) per 3 secondi.Nota: questa funzione è disponibile soltanto per telefoni cellulari che supportano il profilo Hands-Free.

Richiamo dell’ultimo numeroPer richiamare l’ultimo numero, con il dispositivo non impegnato in altre attività, premere per 2 volte il pulsante multi-funzione (MFB) (vedi Figura 4).

Controllo del volumeQuesto dispositivo ha due bottoni di controllo del volume: VOL+ e VOL -.Tu puoi aggiustare il volume degli altoparlanti durante una chiamata o il volume della suoneria.

Per trasferire il suono al telefonoDurante una chiamata mentre si sta usando la cuffia, premere il bottone multi-funzione (MFB) per circa due secondi. Se il tuo telefono supporta il profilo Head Set, ti sarà sufficiente spegnere il tuo BLiNC™ G2.

Trasferire il suono dal telefono alla cuffiaSe mentre stai facendo una chiamata con il tuo telefono la vuoi trasferire alla cuffia, assicurati che il dispositivo sia acceso e quindi premi il bottone multi-funzione (MFB).

Sostituzione della batteriaNei casi particolari in cui è necessario sostituire la batteria, si prega come prima cosa di spegnere il dispositivo.Aprire con cura il coperchio. Successivamente si può procedere con la rimozione, sempre con molta cura, della batteria, eventualmente usando un piccolo cacciavite come leva. Una volta fatto questo si può mettere la nuova batteria, controllando di inserirla nella stessa posizione quella che è stata rimossa.Una volta sostituita la batteria, si può procedere con la chiusura del coperchio. Si prega di prestare la massima attenzione corretto della batteria (Figura 5 e 6).

Nota: Evitate di scollegare o rimuovere il modulo Bluetooth® o la batteria se non vi è necessità.

Sostituzione del Modulo Bluetooth®

Nei casi particolari in cui è necessario sostituire il modulo Bluetooth®, si prega come prima cosa di spegnere il dispositivo. Aprire con cura il coperchio. Successivamente si può procedere con la rimozione, sempre con molta cura, del modulo Bluetooth®, eventualmente usando un piccolo cacciavite come leva. Prestare molta attenzione nel rimettere il nuovo modulo nella stessa posizione del modulo appena rimosso, ed essere sicuri che sia la batteria che il nuovo modulo

Nota: Evitate di scollegare o rimuovere il modulo Bluetooth® o la batteria se non vi è necessità. Nel caso in cui il dispositivo non si accendesse, controllare come prima cosa d’aver messo nella giusta posizione i due moduli (batteria e modulo Bluetooth®) e successivamente assicurarsi del contatto tra le estremità dei due moduli e i contatti presenti all’estremità dell’unità. facciano contatto con i pin che si trovano alle loro estremità.(Figure 7 e 8)

Utilizzare la chiamata vocaleQuando il dispositivo non è impegnato in altre attività, premere e schiacciare per 3 secondi il pulsante multi-funzione (MFB) quindi rilasciarlo. Nota: Si prega di assicurarsi che il vostro telefono supporti la chiamata vocale.

Utilizzo della navigazione audio GPS Prima, essere sicuri che il dispositivo Bluetooth sia spento. Quindi, scegliere sul dispositivo GPS la funzione “Aggiungi dispositivo Bluetooth”. Mentre il GPS ricerca i dispositivi Bluetooth attivi, premere per circa 5 secondi il Bottone Multi-Funzione (MFB) fino a quando non inizieranno a lampeggiare alternativamente i 2 LED blu e rosso del modulo. Selezionare ora Blinc G2 dalla lista dei dispositivi attivi sul GPS (“helmet_intercom_over”) ed inserire la password “0000” sul GPS. Dopo il primo abbinamento, ogni volta che si accenderà il BLINC™ G2, esso si connetterà automat-icamente al GPS.

Nota: Quando il BLINC™ G2 è connesso al dispositivo GPS, esso NON può essere connesso con il telefono o altri dispositivi. Quindi, se si desidera rispondere ad una chiamata, prima si deve procedere alla connessione del proprio tele- fono cellulare con il GPS e poi successivamente abbinare il GPS al BLINC™G2. Più informazioni su questo argomento possono essere trovare sul manuale del navigatore GPS.

PRECAUZIONI Ascoltare musica o una conversazione voce a volume moderato con il BLINC™ G2 in quanto l’esposizione continua all’alto volume potrebbe danneggiare l’udito. Nonostante le parti esterne del casco siano tutte impermeabilizzate, si consiglia di evitare che si bagnino le parti del dispositivo che vanno all’interno del casco. Qualsiasi garanzia sul dispositivo non copre la batteria. Inoltre verrà annullata nel caso viene ritenuto che la malfunzione o il danno sia stato causato dall’utente.

GARANZIA Il produttore non è responsabile per danni dovuti all’utilizzo scorretto del dispositivo. Allacciare sempre il casco, rispettare i limiti di velocità e porre attenzione alle condizioni atmosferiche.

This headset is a portable headset solution based on Bluetooth® wireless technology. Bluetooth® wireless technology is a short-range radio communication technology intended to replace the cables connecting electronic devices. The technology uses a globally available frequency range intended to ensure communication compatibility worldwide.You can connect your headset to your mobile phone or any device with Bluetooth® wireless technology that supports the Headset profile or the Handsfree profile. When the headset is connected to your mobile phone, you can handle incoming and outgoing calls, listen to music, and adjust the volume, using the buttons on the headset. It can connect to mobiles, music players and GPS systems that are Bluetooth® enabled. The inbuilt Bluetooth® Headset in the motorcycle helmet is made up of a discrete battery unit, control buttons, microphone and earphone.

CautionListening at full volume to music or voice through a headset may damage your hearing. Although the external areas of the helmet are waterproof, you are advised to ensure the inside elements of the Bluetooth® device are not exposed to water or any other foreign substance.Any warranty does not cover the battery and in all cases will be void should it be deemed that the user has caused a malfunction or in any way tampered with the Bluetooth® device.

To use your headset, your phone or music device should support the following Bluetooth® profiles:

Bluetooth® Interference IssuesThe quality of Bluetooth® transmission may also be affected by the position of your connected device. Should you experience choppy or distorted audio, move the position of your music device or phone to a different location until the signal improves.

Getting startedBefore you can use your headset, you should first:Charge the headset battery. Pair the headset with a device, for example, a mobile phone. Fully read these instructions.

ChargingThe headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. We recommend that you charge the battery before using the headset for the first time. Connect the charger to the headset and to the mains. The charging time is about 4 hours. During charging, the indicator shows a steady red light.When the battery is fully charged, the indicator red light will switches off.When using the headset, if you hear a cadent tone, and the indicator red light flashes rhythmically, this indicates that the battery needs recharging.To charge, please use the handle on Charging Port Rubber Cover gently pull out the Cover, and circumgyrate about 180 degrees. Expose the Charging Port and Plug the Charger Plug into the Bluetooth® headset’s Charging Port. At this time near the Control Buttons the indicator light turns red when the battery is charging.As Figure 2 and Figure 3 shown.

To turn the headset on

Press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) for approximately 2 seconds until you hear a long high tone and the blue LED is flashing after power on the headset.When turned on, the headset automatically establishes hands-free phone and streaming music connections with the last connected Bluetooth® devices (phone and/or music devices).

To turn the headset off

Press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) for about 5 seconds until you hear a long high tone and both LEDs switch off.

Seeking Mode

Press and hold “Multifunction button” on Bluetooth® Helmet until the blue and red indicator lights blinking. (Around 6-7 seconds)

To pair the headset with a phone or another device

You need to pair the headset to a phone or other device.On the phone enter the searching Bluetooth® device mode and press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light blue and red on the Control Buttons flashes alternately. Operate the phone to discover and connect the headset (“helmet_intercom_over”). The headset passkey is 0000. If pairing is successful the headset indicator blue light flashes slowly and indicator red light is off. Pairing should be done only once. Each time you use your headphones, it will be automatically connected to your phone. Note: Before enter pairing mode, please make sure other Bluetooth® devices are switched off.

Make an Intercom Call:Driver Role

Press the Control Knob on the headset to enter in to Intercom mode. The headset will initiate an intercom call to the last paired headset automatically, and work as master.1) If the driver headset is connected to other devices (for example mobile phone), it will disconnect automatically, then it will connect to the other headset (passenger).After connecting, the driver headset makes an intercom call to passenger headset. Press the driver Control Knob to terminate the call. If the driver headset was playing A2DP music from the phone before entering Intercom mode, it will reconnect to the mobile phone and keep on playing music after terminating the Intercom connection (You will still need to restart the headset manually on phones which are not compatible with this interruption feature).2) If the driver headset is not connected to any device, it will connect and make an intercom call to slave headset directly.

1) If the Passenger headset is already connected to other device (for example mobile phone), it will disconnect automatically, and then accept the connection request from the Driver headset.After 3 or 4 rings; the Passenger headset will answer the incoming call automatically. Or you can press the Control Knob to answer the incoming call manually.Press the Control Knob to terminate the call. If the Passenger headset was playing music from the mobile phone before Intercom call, it will reconnect to the mobile phone and keep on playing music after terminating the Intercom connection (You will still need to restart the headset manually on phones which are not compatible with this inter-ruption feature).2) If the Passenger headset is not connected to any device, it will accept the connection request and handle Incoming intercom call directly.

Pairing Bluetooth® Helmets

Before pairing, make sure there is no Bluetooth® device working in your area.

Driver: (Turn on the Bluetooth®)Press and hold “Multifunction button” (MFB) 3 seconds on Driver Role Bluetooth® Helmet.(Around 3-4 seconds, the blue light will flash)

Passenger: (Seeking Mode) Press and hold MFB on Passenger Role Bluetooth® Helmet until the blue and red indicator lights start blinking. (Around6-7 seconds)

Passenger: (Blinking)Release the Button on Passenger Role after blue and red LED lights begin to flash.

Driver: (Accept the Pairing)Next, turn the MFB clockwise on Driver Role Bluetooth® Helmet until the blue and red indicator lights flash, than release the Button on Driver Role. Helmets are now ready for intercom use.

Driver: (Blinking)Since both RIDER and PASSENGER are in pairing mode, intercom connection will be established between them automatically,and both side will hear a sequence of tone in speaker. Intercom calls can be terminated or reestablished by either RIDER or PASSENGER through pressing the Multi-Function Button (MFB) once.

Using the headset

Listening to music

Your headset allows you to listen to music from your Bluetooth® streaming music source.Note: If listening to music from your mobile, when placing or receiving calls, music playing from the mobile phone is automatically paused. When the call is finished, music playing is resumed.

To answer a callWhen the headset rings, press the Call Handling Button (MFB) on the helmet control unit to answer the incoming call.

Terminate callPress the Call Handling Button (MFB) to terminate call.

To reject a callWhen the headset rings, press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) on the helmet control for about 3 seconds and release the MFB to reject an incoming call. Note: this function is valid only if your phone supports Hands-Free Profile

To transfer the sound to the phoneDuring a call using your headset, press the Call Handling Button (MFB) for approximately 2 Seconds. If your headset works with Head Set Profile, you just need turn down your headset.

Transferring sound from phone to headsetIf you make a call using your phone, you can transfer the sound to the headset if the headset is on; press the Call Handling Button (MFB).

To use voice dialingWhen the headset is idle, press and hold the Call Handling Button (MFB) on the helmet for about 3 seconds, then release the MFB. Note: Please make sure your Mobile phone supports Voice Dial

Replace batteryIf you need to replace battery, please turn off the Bluetooth® Headset first, and then open the Shell’s cover.As Figure 5 shown, follow the instructions direction to push the Clasp handle you can open the cover to expose the battery in Shell as Figure 6 shown. Hold the handle and take out battery as Figure 7 shown.Put a new battery into same position; this will finish replacing. Then close the cover last.

Last Number RedialWhen the headset is idle, double click the Call Handling Button (MFB) will redial the last called phone number.

Adjusting the volumeThis headset has two volume control button: VOL+ and VOL- .You can adjust the headset speaker volume during a call or the ring volume when you are not engaged in a call.

Using GPS Audio NavigationPairing BLINC™G2 with GPS

First, be sure the headset is switched off.Then.on the GPS enter the “Add Bluetooth device mode”. Once your GPS is searching for Bluetooth® device, please press and hold the Multi-Function Button (MFB) on the helmet control unit for approximately 5 seconds until the blue LED and red LED are flashing alternatively. Second, select “helmet_intercom_intercom” from Bluetooth device list on your GPS and input password/PIN “0000” at your GPS. After paired succeed with your GPS, each time turning on your BLINC™ G2 system, it will be automati-cally connected to your GPS.

Working with GPS Audio NavigationWhen BLINC™G2 is connected with GPS, you can hear the navigation prompts or music.

NOTE: When BLINC™G2 is connected with GPS, it can not be connected with your phone or other devices .If you want to answer the dial, first you can let your phone be connected with GPS, then let GPS be connected with BLINC™G2, more information for this, you can refer to your GPS user manual.

To Replace the Bluetooth® Control Unit

For special requirements if you need to replace the Bluetooth® Control Unit, please follow the instruction shown. To open the Shell’s cover, you will see the exposed Bluetooth® Control Unit, as Figure 6 shows. Using a screwdriver, follow the instruction of the Figure 8 to take out the control unit as Figure 9 shown.Be careful when you install the control unit, it should match up to the guide grooves on the sides and be pushed in sufficiently.

Note: Unless authorized to do so, you should not attempt to remove the Bluetooth® Control Unit.
